Well, that's for us to figure out. They can get caught up in an evil team's plot together, a bit like how you stormed the Rocket hideout with Lance in G/S/C and HG/SS? Or if you have another idea, lemme know.

Alright, we might be able to start with either Henry coming out to whatever village to seize their land or something, or maybe with a botched kidnapping that's the reason he's so far out in the country? And then your character helps him get back perhaps.

(I like the land seizing and he takes a few people to be his servants or something o: )

King Henry and his guard rode up to the village of Okan in quite an impressive manner. Banners emblazoned with the king's colors waving and bugles heralding their arrival. The king was a showy man, after all, and this was relatively tame compared to some other stunts he'd done earlier, when he was still a prince without the troubles of a whole kingdom on his shoulders. Normally he wouldn't accompany his herald to such a trivial matter as seizing land for military use, but he didn't get out to the furthest reaches of his kingdom often enough, and it was good to keep an eye on them occasionally.

They rode into the center of the village, and there were bugle calls and shouts and general hubbub as the villagers were gathered into the square to hear him speak.

( i usually prefer ocs over canon characters because i find it so difficult to write other people's characters, so if ocs are alright with you, that would be great. as for region, i don't mind at all, i'm least familiar with johto but otherwise i'm all good with anything really. )

( i'd be fine with any of them too. piplup's my starter of choice, though, so maybe you take chimchar and i'll take piplup since they don't overlap? as for rivalry, something like Blue and Red had sounds like the most fun to write to me, but if you'd prefer something else i'd be fine with that. finally, genders and roles is something i don't really mind either way, so whichever you'd prefer is absolutely fine with me! )

Beau Gale | Male | 16

Beau is a rather outgoing person, but he tends to try too hard to come off as mature and responsible so it often seems more like he's grouchy than anything else. He does love a good laugh, though, and if you bring up something he's particularly passionate about, all pretentions of a collected young adult fall away, leaving only the easily excited teen that he is. He grew up dreaming of battling, and he left for a year to do so as soon as he could. He's a forgiving guy, when it comes to himself, his pokémon and other people, but he's not the kind to forget. Though he's far from the sharpest knife in the drawer, he reads people and their intentions easily. A pessimistic guy, Beau thinks of himself as reckless since things were bound to turn out bad, but he's far from it. He has a little safe bubble and most of the time he sticks to it.

Ahoy, Ni the knight who says, of course you can? Which role you want? I, personally, already have a characer for the rich guy, but I guess I could make one for the poor person if I had to.

Mel listened as the King spoke, ignoring the murmurs beside her. She simply stood with her arms folded across her chest and her pale green gaze locked on him as he spoke. As he read off the names he face turned sour. She was going to have to move. Her last name had not been mentioned. Where was she going to go? The brown haired woman almost couldn't believe what was happening, just out of the blue uprooted from her home. This wasn't going to be fun. Why did they have to leave? Why would they pick this village of all the villages. It took all she had to not ask those questions and get herself in trouble, but it was clear on her face she was not happy at all.

I was going to ask to be the girl anyway, so that works out good. ^^ Do you need her description?)

Destiny Parker - Female - 25
Destiny is a simple girl who doesn't pay too much attention to details when it comes about her looks. Her hair is shoulder length, mousy brown, and has natural curls in it that tend to frizz more than curl. So she keeps her hair straightened so it doesn't get to out of hand. She also has blue-grey eyes, ivory skin that's lightly tanned (lightly because she doesn't get a lot of time out in the sun, and when she is outside, she can never seem to get tan anymore than she already is), and a fashion taste that would make most women cringe. Normally, Destiny walks out of her apartment in a T-shirt of some kind, jeans, and her favorite pair of Vans, when she isn't wearing her uniform for work, that is. It isn't because she's a tomboy, but it's because she doesn't see the point in dressing up for no reason at all. Destiny tries to be a polite and kind person when she's at the dinner she works at. She has to be, but has also made many friends out of the regular customers. Yet when she's not at work, she tends to keep to herself. The more stressed she is, the more she ignores the rest of the world. Destiny is also one of those people who are a bit skeptical on love. She isn't opposed to the idea, but she figures it's something that everyone else can chase after while she just focuses on getting her financial situation stable. Thus resulting in the girl only having a total of two boyfriends within her lifetime, both ending on bad notes.
