I need books to read and I don't really want to read any of the usual boy meets girl or girl meets boy kind of books. I need honest to goodness pure LGBT books. Give me gay, lesbian, trans, bi, pan, ace, POC LGBT characters, anything. I just need to read something and I need it to be diverse and LGBT please. Also I have some good books I can recommend that I have read though they are all lesbian fiction. I believe one is categorized as POC but I forget which character it is that is.

can't remember all the authors!!! but google em they come up easy
Demon Road series by Derek Landy (main character, lesbian, so good!!!! cool irish author and lots of monsters, dark story, story doesn't focus on romance as main plot, but has some pretty awesome lesbian romance scenes in the second book) All for the Game Series (guys, two main characters, lots of gay scenes, but gritty and dark series ) Six of Crows + Grisha Trilogy (guys and main characters in six of crows, with grisha, it's minor characters and they're lesbian. Fantasy/adventure, great books) Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the Universe (BEAUTIFUL SLICE OF LIFE BOOK, guys, two main characters) The Raven Cycle (guys, two major characters, but not my fav cause of personal beef with the author)
if I think of more ill let u know!!

but not sexy books:
Proxy and Guardian by Alex London Beautiful Music for Ugly Children by Kirstin Cronn-Mills Brooklyn, Burning by Steve Brezenoff Aristotle and Dante Discover The Secrets Of The Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz

i'll check all of these out later. I've heard of the Raven Cycle and Grisha but I haven't had time for those. And I don't mind mature content I am forced to listen to my mom's audio books hald the time even tho I get uncomfortable with it spoken outloud. I have class but I love these keep them coming

please please please read carry on by rainbow rowell it is so wonderful it might make a little more sense if you read fangirl first but thats not required also, a classic gay novel, the picture of dorian gray by oscar wilde :') make sure you get the uncensored version for ultimate gayness -- a lot of great moments were cut out of the book because it came out in the late 1800s but in the uncensored version its so so clear that one of the characters is gay and the others are probably bisexual

Annie on My Mind is an older LGBT book when it comes to the young adult part of the genre, that being said though I think it is absolutely brilliant.

I don't know if this counts but Son of the Witch. It's kinda a convoluted and confusing plot but the main character gets with a dude. I haven't read the series in a while but that was one of the big things I remember from that book. You'd have to read Wicked to understand what was going on though. It's a book, but the musical is superior to the book imo, but the book has way more going on that doesn't show up in the musical. ^^' ^Me after reading Wicked the first time

It's already been said twice but Carry On is so so good that I want to add it in here again I loved it And its also great if u pair it with Fangirl but as mentioned before it isn't necessary to read both (but trust me you'll want to Rainbow Rowell is a great author)

also its not really that highlighted but The Thing About Jellyfish has a gay couple that's kind of side-characters (protagonists brother and his boyfriend) but as I mentioned
They don't really talk much abt it. But yeah there is some in there and its a pretty good book so

A Prayer for Owen Meany has an asexual main character, but it's semi-religious? (Religion is used for symbolism. Also semi-anti-religion.)

POC isn't but I love it when I come upon a post on tumblr that has POC characters and I just like those books. I do t think I worded it right but books with POC LGBT are sometimes hard to find so perhaps someone has read one. I read Ash and Huntress which are I believe POC Lesbian/Bisexual(reverse those for their respective titles) but I can't remember if they really are. They are always under categorizes that are POC. But no I just like diversity in what I read.
And thank you I have a large list to look at omg I kinda hope I get more this list would only last me a few months if that
