I've been considering joining WC forums but I can't find active ones, are you guys on any other WC forums that are worth looking at? Most of the ones I saw were last active 2011-2013.

Depends what you're looking for in a Warriors forum. There's some that exclusively cater to roleplay and roleplaying only. There's a few where it's similar to here, but their activity has dropped-- so it's a bit difficult to find a super active one.
Out of ones I've contacted in the past to be partners with, I got one response. One. Playing field is thin. We usually hit ~600 posts per day which is better than in the past. I've looked at other forums for Warriors and some that fit the description of ours are either dead or lacking in activity. We're lucky enough to be hitting over 300 posts per day honestly.
Note that forums aren't as popular as they used to be 5-10 years ago, the world of media has changed. Something that's more social and immediately delivers messages in seconds is more popular and enticing to people. So websites and apps like Instagram, Amino, Facebook, etc. are likely to have bigger fan bases on them. A forum is slow moving compared to something like Discord where it's message after message in a few minutes. A forum's more like a post every 5-15 minutes.

I mean in an ideal world I'd like to just suggest redirecting web traffic to here. I don't know of anyplace else.

IM is more like a live conversation, which i'm not so good at. but I guess the younger generation doesn't have as much appreciation for it.

I prefer slow moving conversations, and less people but for different reasons. In more active places, it seems like there are I guess cliques. In most places, people tend to be left out and ignored, but it doesn't seem like that here. Everyone is also pretty nice, except for like two people that I've met

I don't know about others, but the etiquette of texting is really stress inducing.

I’m okay/decent with IM conversations but I’ve always found slow replies to be a bit more comfortable. I think the younger generations have grown up with more IM platforms so it’s what they’re used to and possibly prefer. It might be why they don’t gravitate towards forums, after all our average user age is like 16 if I remember correctly. I find it pretty rare when I come across users that are under the age of 15.

The fandom is not what it used to be. The craze was when the original few series launched. On the back of their books, they had an original forums link (which has been deleted for a while now) and this is what we have left. Most of us have grown up from being kids to adults now, and we just chill. Some people still talk about the fandoms but not as much as they used to. RIP.

I think there's still the warriors rpg forums but they've relabelled themselves as feralfront and it's not entirely warriors centric anymore. Chickensmoothie also has clan rps I see sometimes, but most of them are disorganized or buried within other animal rps. Besides that, you can try amino?

Any former “popular” and “active” forums are dead now. Everyone thrives on social media nowadays.

Most everyone here are from the original forums. Frankly activity started to slow on the OG before it shut down for good, the downward slope started and this place continued it. You didn’t miss anything special. Just a lot of people have gradually left over the past 2.5 years since this place opened.
