Crowfeather's Trial.
I'm on chapter three, and so far, I dislike Crowfeather even more than before.
This guy seriously thinks that he deserves to be deputy, just because his parents were, and that he gave up more than ANYONE in his clan.
The guy who fell in love with not one, but TWO cats from outside his clan.
Well, it seems like he was wrong, whinging about never being deputy, because he got his wish.
Other than that, this book is HILARIOUS, I loved the scene where some cats where chatting about Breezepelt, and Gorsetail said something about wishing a badger would get him or something, and Crowfeather gasped, and they were all like,
"Oops, sorry Crowdad, we had no idea you were standing right there."

I personally wasn't a fan of this SE if I take OotS into account, but it's fine on its own.

It's fine if he has a change of heart, what I didn't like is how he was already feeling guilty right at the beginning of the story.

I don't think I've gotten to him feeling guilty yet, but I can see why that would be annoying, considering his behavior in Dovewing's Silence.

Even if it's not said outright, it's very clear what the Erins were going for.

Ohhh, I probably missed it then I'm not the best at reading between the lines in this series, like, I didn't know that Spottedleaf liked like Firestar until I joined the fandom. I also didn't catch on that Cinderpelt liked him.

If his POV is ANYTHING like his son Jayfeather's, I probably won't like it much

Onestar is a pompous hypocritical jerk!
Onestar inclined his head. “I do know what you have sacrificed—or what you think you have,” he meowed. “But if you were sincerely a WindClan cat above all else, you wouldn’t have gotten yourself into that situation.
And once you had, you would have accepted why it needed to end. You would not still be bitter about it.”
Yeah Onestar....what about the situation you got yourself into?
Oh yeah...ending it...and by ending it you mean, tossing aside a cat and a kit..living beings with feelings.
Crowfeather's still acting super annoying and entitled.
I'm not sure who to side with on Crowfeather vs Onestar tbh

My favorite SE, I think that people forget that it's in Dovewing PoV that he looks smug.
In CT we see it in Crowfeather PoV and inside Windclan.
Maybe Dovewing is right or Crowfeather is right or maybe both are wrong, who knows?

Maybe Dovewing is right or Crowfeather is right or maybe both are wrong, who knows? That's true, characters change A LOT depending on the POV it's told from. Like in Tallstar's Revenge, Cedarstar and Stonetooth seemed like the meanest cats ever, but in Yellowfang's Secret, they were really sweet and nice. Crowfeather's POV is really annoying so far though, he seems so entitled, and he keeps insulting pretty much everyone

I loved this SE. I felt a lot like you at first about Crowfeather (though I loved his barbs at other cats), but this book really redeemed him for me (and Breezepelt and Nightcloud too).

Lol, I don't like his about Harespring, because I know Harespring trained in the DF, and he's all ticked off about that, but he seems like a truly nice cat, and that was proved again in A Vision of Shadows. I had to re-read his barb towards Berrynose like three times, because I thought he was thinking, "that's a pile of fresh-kill, Berrynose." But he was actually thinking, "There's that pile of fresh-kill, Berrynose." So, he was thinking that Berrynose is a pile of fresh-kill, not that his idea was a pile of fresh-kill

All of the ginger cats in WindClan are hardcore against Breezepelt lol Crouchfoot (Who stood up for him in the beginning, but then quickly changed sides), Leaftail, and Weaselfur

Well they have the right to be mad at him. I agree, I just find it funny how ALL the ginger cats in WindClan are the ones who are speaking out against him the most XD And here's Onestar, treating Breezepelt all kind, like he's the son he never h..oh wait..he abandoned his son.

I finished it! It was such a happy story it was like a Hallmark movie Crowfeather's POV was annoying at first, but then it was actually likeable, way more likeable than Jayfeather's. Crowfeather still isn't on my list of liked characters, but after seeing how he put the need of his clan, above his own needs, I no longer thing he was the worst choice for deputy. Though, I don't like he felt like he was owed the position back then, but I'm glad that he came to accept Harespring. Anyway, I really liked this SE, it's one of my favorites. Next, I will read Bramblestar's Storm!

Glad that you enjoyed it, now read again and take a sip of water for every single time that Crowfeather thinks or say bee-brain, you will drown.
And you know that Nightcloud is buff now that you finished the book as well.

And you know that Nightcloud is buff now that you finished the book as well. Haha XD I like how when Crowfeather was trying to find Nightcloud, and he was talking to the kittypets, he mentions that Nightcloud is thin, while giving the plump kittypet a look, like dang That's so true, it's like Hollyleaf and The Warrior Code. I am shocked at how close Berrynose and Lionblaze were in this, like everytime Lionblaze spoke, Berrynose was RIGHT there supporting him. However, it's probably more so to the fact, that Berrynose has a STRONG sense of what he thinks is right, and he'll side with anyone against the DF trainees.

I've always disliked him, and I said I would never like him, however... I don't dislike him as much as before, my dislike for him used to be an 8, now it's only about a 3, and I completely accept him as deputy now

Honestly, Crowfeather and all of his kits, except for Lionblaze, are super aggravating lol All of his kids annoyed me a lot at some point, lol. Lionblaze as of now is my least favourite out of them, but I heard he gets a bit better in the later arcs, so idk. Jayfeather was downright nasty early POT, but now I love him.
