So this idea popped into my head since I've been
watching Crime Daily videos on YT lately. But what about a cat that used to live in a twoleg house (maybe in the 20s or 40s or even maybe medieval times) that died in a fire and now present time a new family and their cat live in the freshly made house where the old one had burned down. The ghost cat can't move on because of unfinished business plus they want to know how they died blahblahblah.
Also maybe there is a witch involved or something along with some romance? I'm a sucker for romance soooo...
Or maybe even just a really strong friendship.
( I'm bad at ideas sorry. also I kind of want to be the ghost cat... )

Hello! I know that this is almost a month old, but I recently found my way back onto the forums looking to do some roleplaying and I absolutely love the idea that you have. Is there any chance you're still around/interested?

Thank you c: and yayy!!! <3 I'm so excited i'm glad that you actually saw this bc when I saw how old it was I was like ^^; woops but yess I really do love your idea, and i'm totally cool with being the present day house cat if you want to be the ghost cat is there anything in particular that you want to work out beforehand? like how your cat died and such and like whether or not a witch is involved? or would you rather just start and go with the flow? i'm not really sure how much brainstorming goes into this kind of stuff ^^"

I honestly really didn't think anyone liked the idea even though a buttload of people looked at it.
I do like the salem witch trials so maybe he's a familiar? Who's witch ended up being killed during the trials and he maybe ended up dying from some sort of disease?

well rest assured that it sounds very interesting to me c: I want to get back into roleplaying, and I love the concept of normal cat meets supernatural cat x'3 are you still cool with romance developing? I like having romance in plots, but i'm fine if they're just friends too ^^ ooo I like the concept of him being a familiar <3 I kind of only recently discovered what that was around a year ago, but since then I've read a few stories with familiars and it was always a cute concept for me to picture alsooo i'm such a scatterbrain I completely forgot that in your original post you pitched the idea that your cat died in a house fire. do you prefer his cause of death to be disease instead? I'm not sure if you want him to be tied specifically to the house/property or not?

Yes. I love mixing supernatural things into stuff. Makes it more interesting tbh. Big yes on the romance. I just love it. I mean I don't make it the main thing when roleplaying but I honestly prefer romance/drama over action only because I'm terrible at writing fighting stuff lol.
LOL. hmm well the whole fire thing was just mostly an idea. But I feel the ghost kitty would die more from a fire than a disease I feel so yeah scrapping the disease idea.
I was thinking he's tied to the house and property but he can only go to the edge of the property.
This is my character, Alistair (I pronounce it Al-i-stair). His witches name was Kit.

same haha c':
okay cool, that all sounds good
I really love Alistair's picture. <3 This is going to be Molly. I'm not 100% on her personality yet, but I know she's going to be super attached to her human family, especially their kid.
Should we try to plot out anything further? Like how Alistair discovers how he dies, or what he has to do to move on, or if Kit's spirit makes an appearance to guide Alistair. ^^" Idk just tossing things out now. We can always start where Molly's family is moving in, and roleplay things out before deciding anything until we get more comfortable with the flow and the characters.

Molly is super pretty C: && thank you ^ ^ I had found this other pic I wanted to use of Alistair but I didn't like the shape of the cats head LOL Alistair will probs we weary of the kid even tho he's dead. Never been around children.
Maybe Alistair finds something of his witch's like in a painting or something and on the back of it it's singed? Maybe he has to help the kid's parents somehow to move on? IDK. ^.^ But yeah I think starting with Molly's family moving in should do just fine.

ooo that's interesting, we can definitely try and plot that out further once we get more settled
okay cool, I'll go ahead and start typing something up. I apologize in advance because i'm going to be a bit rusty at the start ^^;
