I've been listening to this song from the season 3 premiere of Tangled the series titled Crossing the Line and it reminds so much of Defying Gravity from Wicked. Ironically, the person singing it was in the Wicked musical. I think she played some versions of Elphaba, so it was probably intentional. Here's the music video of the song:

I’m absolutely obsessed with that song. I’ve been listening to it non stop for the past two days now. It also has a Frozen ‘vibe’ to it imo, it reminds very slightly of a combination of Life’s Too Short, For The First Time In Forever reprise, and Let It Go.

Welp, this has finally tempted me to start watching the series. I have access to Season 2 and the start of Season 3 (from the Disney Now app), but I don’t know how I’m going to see Season 1. If I skip Season 1 and start at Season 2, how bad will the continuity lockout be?

If I skip Season 1 and start at Season 2, how bad will the continuity lockout be? I think it would be possible to look up a summary for Season 1 but I wouldn’t entirely recommend it since it introduces the new characters (which there are a LOT of, so it would be very confusing if you don’t know who they are) and the story line. A summary would probably skim over a lot of stuff that could effect Season 2 and, like I said, be pretty confusing. I think you should at least watch Tangled: Before Ever After before you watch Season 2. It’s the mini-movie that starts off the series, and explains why her hair is back and introduces the third main character (Cassandra). If you’re comfortable with them, I know there are sites such as kimcartoon or kisscartoon that have the entirety of Season 1. EDIT: Forgot to add, but the first episode of Season 1 is on the Disney Channel YouTube page.

I was able to find Before Ever After and the first episode of Season 1 on YouTube last night.

I’ve made it through season 1 and the first few episodes of season 2. I definitely like Rapunzel and especially Pascal a lot more now.
