I'd prefer to start at the evening of the crash if that'd be okay with you?
Also, are you going to be playing a male or a female?

(SO SORRY!!! Things have been hectic, and I didn't want to put up some short starter that felt rushed, so I was working on it bit by bit until I had it good enough. I'm so sorry for the long wait, and I hope that it isn't a horrible!)
There are few people in the world who claim that everything in their life is going right. James Riley, however, figured his life was a close to perfect as anyone one could get it. The twenty year old man would consider himself lucky. To start, his family was all happy and healthy. No one was currently sick or suffering from any injuries, and they were just all around a good and loving family. His entire high school experience was a pleasant one. Many friends had been made, his grades had never been better, and his hobby of photography was starting to kick up into something more promising. Graduation was right around the corner, and he had already secured himself a scholarship to the local university for photography and journalism. Yeah, he wasn't the most athletic boy in the school, but that was hardly an issue in his eyes. Real life wasn't like how it was portrayed in the movies, thankfully, and jocks and mean girls weren't the only ones to be able to hold a popular statues. He was generally liked by everyone, which more or less just meant he tried to be a person who didn't get on other people's nerves too much. It had worked out for him many a times. There were countless parties and hang outs, and other types of things he was invited to, some he could make it to and others he couldn't, but the fact that he had been invited meant more than anything. Sometimes, though, he just had other plans he would much rather be doing.
To top it all off, he was getting to enjoy all of these experiences beside one of his best friends. They had known each other for a good portion of their lives, and he honestly couldn't see himself doing or accomplishing a lot of what he had without her support. The pair of them had gotten into so much trouble over the years together, and gotten out of even more with each other's help. Really, he had no idea how they had become so close, but he wasn't complaining. It was a good match, him and her, and he was excited to be graduating together with her, and, soon, attend the same college as her. Their lives were just beginning, and he couldn't wait. Optimistic as always, James just had a good feeling about what the future held for them. Once graduation was over, they would officially be adults and on their way to making something of themselves.
But all that could wait. Right now, his best friend and him had plans for a night of fun. They had been preparing for it for weeks, and after all the hustle and bustle of graduation, they both could use a break. A night to just relax, let loose, and breathe. Of course, they would have plenty of time to do that after graduation as well, but James didn't think about that. One moment of fun before the day of the actual ceremony wouldn't hurt. If anything, it'd help curb some of their excited energy.
