[ it's okay if you want to wait for more people to join. I understand that reasoning. I only give people more than one apprentice if I really have to do it. i really don't mind either way ~ ^^; i don't want to be too pushy lol.
also sorry, my dad came home and there is a lot of talking now xD it keeps drawing my attention away from the forums. ]
Wildpath and Echowatcher A soft breeze brushed it's way through Wildpath's thick fur. The young tom was settled outside of camp for the moment, it was peaceful to be outside of the camp's boundaries for a while. The quiet of being outdoors always calmed the young tom's worries and watching the sunrise was one of his favorite moments of the day. His ears twitching as he listened to the faint howl of the breeze. Wildpath allowed his eyes to slide close as he took within a deep breath of the fresh, crisp air. It felt wonderful.
A soft noise drew the tom's attention and he turned his head back towards camp. He blinked his amber eyes, knowing that Snowystep would be issuing patrols shortly. It would be a good idea to stay on the deputy's good spirits. The gray tabby pushed himself to his paws and tripped for a moment. Wildpath yelped for a moment before scrambling back towards camp, focusing on being sure footed.
Slipping into camp, he faltered for a moment. Wildpath blinked in mild surprise, he was sure more cats would have been out in the clearing already. His amber eyes drifting around, his fur prickling for a brief moment. He liked being alone at times but he preferred to be with his clanmates more anything.
Wildpath's eyes brightened when he spotted Echowatcher settling down within camp. The broad shouldered tom padded over towards the calico feline, he always enjoyed her company in the past. He liked Echowatcher, she was a nice feline, quiet but nice. "Good Morning," he greeted and couldn't help but echo his own words with a warm purr. "Snowystep didn't issue patrols yet?" Wildpath meowed in a hopeful tone, the camp was... empty, he hoped it wasn't a sign that everyone left. He swore he didn't see anyone leave camp.

Distracted from her efforts by the sound of pawsteps, the young shecat tensed visibly hoping the cat searching was not hunting for her. Even if it were for more jovial reasons, the calico wasn't one who enjoyed nor thrived under attention nor socialisation, quite content in her own company. But clan life didn't offer much in the way of privacy, and the young shecat often found herself having to put aside such emotions. Turning stiffly to find the familiar form of Wildpath making his way over, her ears perked forward. The familiar scent of a clanmate was one of few things she appreciated about other cats, the sense of safety and calm it offered, now only if said scents didn't tend to carry the habit of talking. Plumed tail flicking in the gentle breeze, she regarded her clanmate with a look of well studied calmness. Molding her features to avoid the awkwardness of appearing unhappy, and the consequent questions that might arrive from such. Her greeting smile was one of quiet but poorly stifled nerves, otherwise she seemed somewhat at ease. Her ears perked forward at his question, and she contemplated for a moment. Gaze wandering across camp in search of the familiar grey pelt of the deputy, but spotting no signs of her presence, nor had she heard anything in the way of orders that morning. "Not yet," Echowatcher's tone was melodic and soft, her gaze constantly on the move.

Settling down besides her, Wildpath resisted the urge to sit close to the feline. The large tom preferred to sit close enough that he could feel the warmth of his companion and brush their fur together. He knew which cats he could do that with and what cats preferred personal space. His amber eyes were glittering in the dim of the camp with warmth as he shifted to a position where he was lying on his stomach with his front legs folded neatly underneath of him. Wildpath wasn't at all bothered by Echowatcher's stifled expressions. He was a mellow character and never tended to be fazed by anything. Wildpath didn't understand how his clanmates could get so upset about various situations and problems. Wildpath let out a soft, relived breath. "Thank goodness," he meowed as flickering his tail. His amber eyes flickering away from Echowatcher and drifted around camp. At least he didn't miss out on getting assigned on the patrols. He liked staying busy.

I'm currently cuddling a hot water bottle cos it is SO COLDNodding in half hearted agreement, her gaze was drawn skyward to where the sun was slowly being defeated by the gathering mass of greys overhead. Clouds were surrounding every visible piece of blue, indicating that it likely wouldn't be lasting much longer, I'd best get on with duties before it starts pouring. Echowatcher decided, her ears merely flicking back to the warrior beside her, realising after an awkward beat he had said something further. "Hmm," she replied quietly, paws itching with discomfort and body left aching by the sensation of tiredness. She resisted the urge to lift herself to her paws and leave it at that, as socially awkward as she considered herself, she knew enough to not do something so inadvertantly cruel. Looking to her companion briefly, she forced herself to say aloud. "Looks like its about to pour down any moment," she commented smoothly, her whiskers twitching and nostrils set aflare. "I was intending to go hunt," leave it at that leave it at that leave it at that. She was half her way to her paws before she added quietly. "Would you like to come with me?" [/quote]

I'm sorry this took me forever!!!
Eveningpaw. In the nicest of ways, he looks constantly like a pale, drowned rat that's been living in the sewers for so long he's forgotten what the light looks like. With fur that is utterly untamable and with an odd sheen, it is thin and short but clumps together oddly, like random tufts have been gelled and greased together, scrapped only by a thin scar across the bridge of his nose. It is a pallid off-white color that is smudged with dark grey-black patches, most notably covering his entire head and leaking down his spine and engulfing his left leg and all of his tail, contrasting with the haunted, sunken-in glow of his near-white yellow eyes like twin moons. There is something eerie and strange about him, in the way he moves and exists, that seems more like a creature pretending to be a cat than a real, living creature (someone once said they hadn't seen him blink or breathe for a full five minutes). Despite his near-utter silent demeanor, he seems to have a strong sense of justice (which doesn't always follow the rules, mind you), and does everything he can for his clan and gives, surprisingly, very good advice when asked. แดษชsแดาแดสส ยป Medicine Cat Apprentice N/A He will do as the Dark Forest cats ask if one of them is injured, as that is the view and vow he has taken to serve all life, but if given the chance, he will help the rebels- his solutions are quick and simple and painful, mind you.
Shrewfrost. Perhaps a more apt name for her would've been wasp, considering the sleek sharpness of her body, all angles that are enough to cut a man if you looked for too long upon her. She looks like a sports model, built for living in this rough and terrible way, and her cranium is this angular shape with high cheekbones and scrutinizing eyes. Her short fur is covered in earthen shades, like deep chocolates, greys, and cool-tones that merge together in a gradient that lightens at her underbelly and accentuated by thick, dark marbled tabby striping and facial and limb points, accentuating the incredible brightness of her frost-pale blue eyes. All wild-haired and wild-eyed, she seems to constantly be buzzing with energy, even when she doesn't want to be, and considering her young age, she seems to yet have a handle on it. Although overall warm and easy to get along with, there are bursts of spark beneath her skin that can make her twitchy, irritable, and like she wishes she could crawl out of her own body. There are some issues with temper, though she is trying her best, and she tends to come off as the independent and confident leader who's mind and body are not in-sync. แดษชsแดาแดสส ยป Warrior N/A Doesn't agree with the way the clan is at the moment and would stay to rebuild with the newcomers, but is constantly in conflict with this choice and would likely let rebels slip or give them information if they play to her heart

In her body and muscle mass, in the sharp of her eye and the tough of her paw pads, in the curve of her alert ears and the mirage of rock-stain that was her pelage, it was clear she was born to survive in this distant, cold environment of lackluster and lifelessness. For all of that life, all of that energy, had decided to take root in her instead-
It refused to be erased. Not in the way her tail shivered and twitched like a tree's thin branch bowing under the rhythmic patter of a squirrel's pace.
It was in her eyes- so everlasting blue, like the epitome of frost dripping down moss, crystalline and cool, ethereal. Because her emotions were not cold, and as such, it made the paradox of her unique intensity that seemed deeply ingrained in all that she was. Nothing escaped her, nothing could flee from being peered at from the other side of the ice wall's sheet- not a mirror, but a looking glass.
And so, Runnignhare's failure was no different.
" You look worse than when you left. "
There is a curve to her gaze, part gently scolding and part genuine concern for his state, especially when her attentions flickered from his hunched and limping form to the source of the staggered gait. A furrow to her brow crowned her eyes, stepping forward with all the grace of a feline who'd been scaling rocks and cliffsides all her life, to tower tall and strong, fur falling in soft folds around her as she peered at him-
" Did your target turn you into prey? "
Sniffing quietly, there was a softness in the endless moon-struck pools of her eyes-
" I suppose I shouldn't jest. It's been hard for everyone. I'll walk with you. "
Voice sweet, kind, contrasting to the ethereal mystery of her appearance, and one could see the life thrumming in her veins, pumping from her heart, muscles infused with wish to assist. An offer of her shoulder, not in pity, but in empathy. Not boxing him in, not forcing him, not pushing him into something he wasn't comfortable in. It was an offer, one he could take or not, for she would walk at his side regardless, muscled body prepped and primed for the little jaunt towards the medicine cat's den.
eveningpaw // camp Ever since he'd been born into the clan, he had been known for his... strangeness. He wasn't like the average bear, that was for certain. Not in the way he sat still and silent, filling in with broad muscle the-usual of the misted felines who lived in the Crater, cranium angled just so-
Like a snake, a predator, sizing up its prey from afar.
Looking for all the weakspots, soaking in them, and waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
And it would seem the apprentice's attentions, at the moment, were on the newly-returned Wolfstorm, who no doubt had retired in an attempt to get some kind of time for himself. Hunting in this barren land was no easy feat, requiring a strength and a focus that would drain even the most efferent of us, and in the very genes of the cats themselves, they were prepped for a life of hardship since day one. It was just the way things were, for all of them.
There decision to stay had not come without consequences.
For now, all the apprentice did was stare. And, frankly, he'd been in the clan long enough for them all to know that it was normal for him to settle like a gargoyle in one spot for hours at a time, haunted eyes seeing all as it passed him by, barely breathing or even blinking. Truly like a statue, for some reason no one could ever figure out.
Everyone had something- suppose this was his chosen poison.

{Actually just gonna put my own starters out uwu }
{Sagepool} The small tom was busy sorting out his herbs for the day, his mind wandering. He thought of the leader, her kits will be here in only a moon's time or so. He considered leaving his den to check on her, make sure everything is going smoothly but he decided against it. It wouldn't hurt if he waited for a little while, the leader was hopefully not going anywhere. He placed his last herb down and let out a low sigh, examining his work. It was times like this he wished his apprentice was her own full blown medicine cat. to help fulfill the duties he had to the clan. Need to gather more herbs but going out on my own is like begging to be attacked. He sat up, not even realizing he was sitting now. Sagepool gave himself a small stretch, feeling the ache in his haunches from sitting still too long. He could go find himself something to eat, perhaps a warrior or two to come with him on his little side mission. But then again, I'm leaving the camp exposed to dangers if I just waltz out of here with no back up cat. He gave a short hmph to himself, wondering when Eveningpaw would reach the age old enough for him to trust her on her own. "Eveningpaw. " He mewed, sounding a bit frustrated already.
{Heavypaw} The tom was only just now awakening, stretching his back paws out behind him while he stayed in his nest. He felt no desire to leave the comforts of the apprentice's den, it wouldn't hurt at all if he stayed a few minutes longer, he was sure of it. He looked around the apprentice's den, wandering if he should tell the other's what time it appeared to be. No, I'm fine not talking to them. Deciding lounging around would be a good way to get his ears slapped off, the apprentice got up. He could find something small to do for the time being. Once he got his body out of the apprentice's den, he instantly regretted it. It was as though the clan noise finally turned on for him. The sounds of the world outside the camp filled his ears. He swallowed, as though that would rid himself of discomfort, then began on his way to the edge of camp. There were no queens to be taken care of, nor elder's, so he was stuck out here doing the absolute little amount needed.

Fluffing up his tail, Wildpath tucked his tail around his body. It helped keep the slight chill away from his body. He knew that it was likely going to get warmer later in the day, leaf fall is always a weird season. He mused with a wrinkle of his nose. He wished the temperature would stay consistent throughout the day.
Wildpath's attention flickered back to Echowatcher. His amber eyes still shining bright, even though the two had barely spoke a word to each other. He wasn't the type to complain about any type of company, he was easily a lover of everyone. He blinked for a monent, casting his attention to the sky, "huh," he mumbled, flickered his tail. He liked rain... but not while he was trying to get work done. Wildpath didn't even realize the overcast that starting to come over the territory.
Perking his ear forward at the mention of hunting, Wildpath couldn't help but grin. The broad shoulder moved to get to his paws, he wasn't as graceful as Echowatcher. "Yes please," he meowed with relief evident in his meow, "I don't know if I can rest within camp any longer, y'know," Wildpath confessed with a small shake of his head and snorted. If he stayed in camp, he would most likely contiune to fret about whether or not Snowystep would issue him on a patrol.

Weaseleye let out a short huff. "At least it's easy to get used to," he said, then picked his head up a bit to see the clouds and haze on the terrain above the crater. The weather always seemed to be unpredictable here, but that's what made their Clan so strong and adaptable against whatever came to them. He squinted his good eye at Cygnetstar, wondering if she slept as alright as she said - but then again, neither did he. He glanced over as more cats starting to trickle into the clearing, and straightened up his back consciously. "Have any plans today?" he asked, as he knew even pregnancy wouldn't really confine her in camp for long.

I hope you don't mind แดษชsแดาแดสส ยป but I really liked your scrolling effect, so I've tried to incorporate it into my own coding.Smiling a little at her mate's seemingly endless positivity, she touched her nose against his shoulder to hide the rather smitten expression on her grey face. "I miss the days we could share our nest," she admitted with a flick of her tail, the leader's den had never felt like home, and without her mate's presence she doubted it ever would. Let alone the confines of the nursery she would inevitably move into soon enough. A light frustration flickered to life at the thought, though she wouldn't have changed her position for anything, there were parts of warriorhood she missed. The normality being a key one, but the chance to just spend time with the tom she loved without the burden of responsibility weighing her thoughts with every step. Cygnetstar was all too aware that was merely a fact of life, but that didn't mean she couldn't despise it. Even her kits were kept in secrecy, for fear how the clan would react. Leadership was proving more the task than she could have ever begun to believe. "Escape camp before Sagepool can catch me," her whiskers twitched with stifled laughter. "He seems to think I'm a cripple..." She considered, watching the impaired tom cat wander from his den with curiosity. "Do you fancy coming with me?" Deciding that Snowystep would likely appreciate their initiative rather than scold their independence, the shecat was grateful that the deputy was yet to make an appearance, Echowatcher discarded her attempts at pinpointing the frosty pelted deputy, and make the decision for herself. She could get away with another on her patrol, more cats would be a distraction and a discomfort to the sleek calico. An acknowledging nod was all the shy shecat managed to muster for the time being, hoping quietly the trend of gossip wouldn't be a continuous one throughout their trip. For the time being the pretty warrior was merely hoping she could get away with the days activities without being on the receiving end of a rather thorough soaking. Poised and ready to get going, she empathised somewhat with the need to get going. Her paws itching with anticipation, the confines of camp left her feeling claustrophobic and the need to get moving was a prominent one. "Hmm," she replied quietly, before revolving on the spot and heading for the rocky paths that ascended out of camp. Merely glancing backwards to see if the tom would follow or not. And whilst StarClan couldn't have forced her to admit it aloud, she was grateful when she spotted that he indeed had. Tension flooded from her frame like ice shards melting free of her coat as soon as her paws met the soft grasses of the land above the crater. A roster of familiar scents overwhelmed her senses, but there was a calming effect upon the young shecat. Looking to her companion, she twitched her ears, always alert for what was going on around them. "Where do you want to go?" Echowatcher inquired quietly.
Most might have found Shrewfrost's attempts at socialisation somewhat bizarre, it was fortunate that Runninghare was either too oblivious to notice, or too proud to care. His gaze crossed paths with the petite warrior's, he allowed it to linger for a heartbeat before letting it dart away, a restless bird uncertain of where the threat hid. His ears perked, studying the shecat in an effort to learn whether there was a malice to her intentions, or genuine concern. In spite of his best efforts he found himself uncertain as to the truth. But despite his disorderly appearance and injured frame, one thing free of harm was his wit and sense of humour. Something half the camp would likely consider a great tragedy. "You seem to be mistaken," Runninghare molded his tone into what he believed to sound like a heroic lilt, in truth he merely sounded ostentatious, a kit playing at warrior rather than the battle hardened tom he playfully attempted to portray. "These injuries were garnered in the heat of battle, if you think I look disgraceful, you should see the poor bear I met with." His chest puffed out with pride, though the glint to his gaze gave evidence to his sheepish falsification. And it might have looked convincing, had it not been for the aforementioned dragged backwards through a bush appearance. Runninghare looked to have been struck by lightning and dropped in tar, and that could be considered a kind description. But in truth he was grateful for the chance at company in his return to camp, and he would never be one to turn down conversation and a chance at friendship. Thus the pair fell into a comfortable pace as they returned to camp. "Of course, you can revere the camp with tales of my heroism whilst I mend in the medicine cat den," he jested with an amused twitch of his whiskers. Rather enjoying the little fantasy he had built in his head.

"I think I do," Weaseleye responded with a playful twitch of his whiskers. He looked over his shoulder to Sagepool's den, who was probably already grumbling at his apprentice. "He'll probably be out to gather herbs soon, so let's go before he could catch us." It almost felt like a game, and the brown and white tom's paws itched to get out on the territory. It had been a while since he'd been alone with Cygnetstar, mostly due to her duties as a leader. He tilted his head upward, toward the top of the crater. "After you."
((i already love these two lol))
