I think it was in book 1 or 2 I can't remember Of the new arc? It mentions her being gone in the new arc, Or Vision of Shadows?? I read the entire arc of Shadows but I don't recall her dying! I know I'm old but I think I'd recall when a main character dies. . .

Pretty sure she dies between AVOS and the new series Lost Stars. I think her death is going to be the focus of the new Squirrelflight SE coming out.

Oh boy. Yes that is when I found out, reading the 1st book of the Broken Code. For my AU where I do stick to what Dr Who calls fixed points in time, this is i portant. Guess I'll have to gloss it over and hint at stuff. But she'd definitely be gone by time this story starts. So time for some ediits. Thanks!!

I do have bit of an issue with this arc already in regards to the moonpool. Really? 1st time its ever frozen? If the big lake freezes in winter, the moonpool would too esp since its a smaller body of water. In all the arcs and books, I am pretty certain the lake has frozen every winter. .. . . or almost every winter. .. . am I wrong?

I always thought it was because of the underground stream and the waterfall, the water moved too fast/too much to freeze all the way. And the lake never froze completely, it just formed ice thick enough for cats to walk on. Idk it is a little weird that it hasn't happened before tho.

Well in my fic I had them both frozen solid durimg some pretty cold leaf bares. LOL. B ut about the moonpool, yes the falls and the stream probably would not fully freeze, but the pool itself surely would. In NEW BLOOD Gentleoak and his fellow medicine cats just put their muzzles on the ice to convene with StarClan.
