IntroThe snow had been a horrid experience, the stone under paw scraping away your flesh and leaving your paw pads bloody and sore. Now, the light shone through as you made your way further from the mountains and the hardships within. The landscape changed as you found yourself coming upon a forest full of beauty and life, the trees whispering as the breeze rustling their leaves, and the prey plentiful, causing your mouth to water. The greatness of this place was soon overshadowed as the scents of cats reach your senses, causing you to halt in your place. Soon, some bushes in front of you rustling and a brown tom stepped from within them and toward you, his gaze steady and calm. "Hello there, it seems you have found the lands of my tribe, The Tribe of Three Moons. I am Moon-Seeker, the high leader of this group. Come, your seem tired and hungry. We have someone who can heal your paws as well."

Along with this, I also ask that you do not steal any of my stuff or the banner. The layout though is free game as it was a free to use layout made by UnsightlyHeretic831 .
2- Please please PLEASE, respect everyone and who they are. This is a safe zone for anyone and I want to bullying, disrespect, or anything like that on this thread or I will kick you from this rp and report you to a moderator.
3- I deeply enjoy have a well fleshed out rp space and such. Ways that new members can be more involved and everything like that. With this being said, I ask that you do not make two cats who are mates to each other and that you have siblings and such, like say if another person's character has somewhat of a similar look, then ask them if they can be siblings. Simple as that.
4- LGBTQ+ are accepted here. I myself am transgender and gay along with being demiromantic and open to polyamorous relationships. If you are LGBT and want to incorporate this into your characters, then go ahead and have it!
5- Making your characters!! I know most places want you do be realistic and stick to normalcy but I am anything but normal. Have fun, let loose, and get your creative juices flowing! The only thing I ask is to add wings, antlers, horns, etc onto your character and for there to be no powers unless specified in the plot like in the Power of Three, in which case I will talk to the chosen character's owner's separately.
6- Have fun! This I cannot stress enough. I come on here to let loose and get away from the hardships of life, even if I'm only able to be on for maybe an hour at a time. I want to have a fun time here and want you to have fun as well! If you've made it here then please put MARGOT in you're joining form. Territory The Forests: The ground of these forests, formed from the remains of trees falling, in successive generations, for centuries, is most eccentric: sometimes raising itself in the shape of a mountain, to descend suddenly into a muddy swamp, peopled by hideous alligators wallowing in the green slime, and by millions of mosquitoes swarming amidst the fetid vapours exhaled, sometimes extending itself endlessly in plains of a monotony and regularity truly depressing. The forest does not care for seconds or minutes, even hours are inconsequential. The smallest measure of time here is the cycle of daylight and darkness. Even then the forest is more in tuned with the seasons: rebirth brought by the warmth of spring, darkened foliage from summer's kiss, the onset of fall and then the keen bite of winter. All the trees were tightly-knit, just one strand in a massive web of life. Green leaves, yellow leaves, red leaves. It was a rainbow of rich, autumnal colours. The scent of earth and water drifted through the air. It was a picture of serenity, one which would endure for many long years. The woods, serene, calm, beautiful, natures garden. Oaks, Beech, Silver Birch, Holly bushes, winding path of mud gets boggy in places as it falls into gullies and rises up the hill, Sound or tinkling water, a stream rushes by in it's steep sided ditch, splashing on the rocks, cascading down small waterfalls, carrying twigs and leaves into small natural dams, leaves dance gaily on trees up above, dapple the light, intermittent shade, bird song rises and falls in sweet melodious chorus, snow drops amidst the trees, squirrels scamper and scurry up and down tree trunks. Upon the forest floor lie trees of yesteryear, fallen in storms long forgotten. The seasons have been harsh, stripping away the bark and outer layers, yet rendering them all the more beautiful. They have the appearance of driftwood, twisting in patterns that remind one of seaside waves; even the colour of the moss is kelp-like. They are soft, damp, yet her fingers come away dry. Birdsong comes in lulls and bursts, the silence and the singing working together as well as any improvised melody.
The Fields: Edge of woodland, slopes down gently to bramble filled ditch, ditch overgrown with cow parsley and nettles, bare patches, thick lush dew laden grass, cowslip with it's broad yellow flowers trumpeting the music of spring, Dandelions, Ragwort, scattered clusters of rabbit droppings, hawthorn hedge, brook half choked with weeds, purple thistle, bumble bee, rutted track, cow pats, clump of figwort. The meadow was a glorious expanse of grass and meadow flowers, grass rustling gently in the breeze. There was a narrow brook flowing through it choked with weeds. Tall water-mint with pale lilac flowers, like dozens of tiny bells were growing at the edge of the brook. There was a shallow ditch at edge of the meadow. The grass was thick and lush grass, growing in dense tussocks. The oak tree provided sun-flecked shade, a cool and refreshing respite from the mid-summer sun. The white umbrellas of cow parsley were becoming brown. The rutted track, once boggy was mud hardened and cracked. The meadow lay peaceful in the thickening light of late afternoon. The meadow was a riot of colour. The burnt orange Butterfly We stood tall amongst the grasses and the prairie Black-eyed Susans appeared to reflect the brilliant yellow of the sun herself. The Prairie Blazingstar stood like tall purple bushy cat-tails. Near the edges of the lazy river grew the blue-violet Wild Irises, tall and proud.
The River: The river is a slice of mellow harmony amid the fragrant leaves. It flows like time, always onward, always toward its destiny. One day these placid waters will enter that great ocean, each drop a vital part of what becomes the mighty aquatic world. In the shade of the boughs we wade in, feeling the welcome kiss of coolness, watching the eddies that swirl and disappear. The water surface is livened by brief crescents of white that are fish arcing as they swim. Our eyes travels down stream, caressing the dapples that bring the shine of the water to a hue so homely. The river winds through the forest, welcoming stray flora that comes its way. It is part of this place, integral to life, yet also a thing unto itself. The river is always flowing, taking its willing passengers onward to the great ocean beyond. At the edges it tempts the rich soil to join the cool waters just as much as the humble leaf litter that lies on top.
The Waterfall: From a distance the waterfall had been like a silent white stream cascading over the rocky outcrops. As they had drawn closer the noise had increased steadily until they were only a few hundred metres away. They could no longer even shout to one another over the deafening roar of the water. Closer still they drew until they were in the plume of water vapour that hung over the plunge pool and in only minutes they were as wet as they would have been in any rainstorm. It was not the gentle sort of waterfall you might see in a stately home garden, it was the kind where torrents of water are poured over rocks hard enough to crack your skull and mash your brains on the way down, then swirl in a plunge pool below deep enough to drown you if you survived the fall. From the bottom it was awe inspiring, from the top it was brutal and terrifying.
The Camp: The bushes and trees of low growth had disappeared, to make room for gigantic mahogany trees, century old cork trees, and the acajou, whose sombre branches formed a vaulted roof of green eighty feet above his head. The path had grown wider, and stretched, in a gentle incline, towards a hillock of moderate height, entirely free from trees. The hill was a broad knoll with a flat rocky top, to one side the escarpment fell away sharply, to the other it rolled away, gently undulant with tussocks, the grass growing thick and coarse.
Prey/PredS Prey: Prey in the territory include mice, shrews, bats, rabbits, squirrels, gophers, moles, voles, water voles, murids, smaller rats, stoats, weasels, ferrets, martens, minks, wood pigeons, wrens. robins, doves, blackbirds, blue ti-ts, blackcaps, thrushes, starlings, sparrows, sparrow hawks, dunnocks, warblers, larks, krestels, magpies, crows, jackdaws, seagulls(rarely), rooks, terns, finches, chaffinches, siskin's, ducks, pheasants, falcons, moorhens, wagtails, lapwings, linnets, hawks, ravens, swans(unlikely), purple swamp hens, minor birds, non-poisonous snakes, lizards, geckos, fish, frogs, toads, salamanders, newts
Predators: Include foxes, badgers, dogs, owls, falcons, larger hawks, bears, lynxes, coyotes, bobcats, poisonous snakes, large rats, two-legs, wolves, and sometimes mountain lions.

Honey: Honey is used to treat sore throats.
Mouse Bile: Mouse bile is used to make ticks release their grip on a cat.
Wild Garlic: Rolling in this herb can help to keep infection out of wounds. It is also good for rat bites.
Other Non-Herbal Treatments:
1. Gently nipping a cat's spine or poking it hard with a claw tests to see if the backbone is broken. If the subject does not feel the nip or poke, then the spine is broken. Many times a medicine cat will have to poke/nip the subject multiple times in different places to find the break.
2. Licking a cat's fur can help clean wounds, comfort/calm down a shocked or grieving cat, and warm a cat who has become very cold. (Lick the cat's fur the wrong way to do this. The last method is most often used on kits.)
3. Soaking moss in water and holding the dripping moss before a sick, injured or weak cat makes it easier for them to drink. Soaked moss can also be used to cool feverish cats.
4. Rosemary or mint can be used to lighten the death-scent of a dead cat before burial.
5. Using nectar, honey or mouse blood can make herbs sweeter and more appealing to cats--therefore making it easier to take the medicine.
6. Holding a swelling wound in cold water takes down swelling. Cats can also soothe scraped pads by soaking them in water.
7. A cat with weak or hurting muscles/bone can take part in water therapy. Have them wade in water that is not too deep or shallow, and eventually they'll get stronger.
8. Having a sick cat wail or yowl keeps their lungs and chest clear of mucus.
Taking Care of Your Herbs:
Here is how a medicine cat should keep their herbs fresh and useable.
--If any herbs are wet, leave them out in the sun until they dry.
--Gather fresh herbs when your stock gets low.
--Leave enough of the herb on the plant you use for gathering it so it can reproduce
--Check your store often and throw out old herbs or herbs that have lost their healing qualities.
Other Herbs To Keep in the Medicine Den:
Note: ONLY use these herbs for self-defense against a cat who is a danger to all the Clans, or if a cat from your own Clan asks for a quick, painless path to StarClan while on his or her deathbed.
Holly Berries: A poisonous berry. Cats die almost instantly if they are consumed. If consumption if not intentional, use yarrow to get the berries out of the cat's stomach.
Deathberries (Yew berries): A poisonous berry. Cats die almost instantly if they are consumed. If consumption is not intentional, use yarrow to get the berries out of the cat's stomach.
The berries listed above can also be used as traps for dangerous predators. (Snakes, mountain lions, foxes, badgers, ect.) Stuff a piece of fresh-kill with these berries and set it near the predator's den. They will die quickly and painlessly.
