Spiderstep stood and walked out of camp. If someone was going to be dramatic and try to draw attention to him he was going to make it hard. He padded deeper and deeper into the forest.

Swanflight led the way over the meadows until she finally spotted a large brown hare. "That thing can feed half the clan if we manage to catch it. Webwillow, circle around the left, Frostfeather, you go to the right. We'll cut off its chances of escaping by going in on all sides. Once you two are in position and signal me, I'll chase it toward one of you, it's up to the hare which way it goes though."

Spiderstep went off to sit out in the forest. He waited a while until he was sure no one had followed him started to walk towards where he had been all night.
(Skel wanna do some training between Basilwhisker and Desertpaw?) Basilwhisker paced the camp trying go decide something to do.
Palerose walked to her nest and saw the fresh squirrel that Poppyhawk had dropped ff for her.

The two she-cats nodded. Frostfeather quietly padded off to the right keeping an eye out for any twigs or brush that could scare the rabbit. When she was ready she signalled.
Webwillow went to the left and got into position preparing herself before signalling as well.

(It's a hare. They are a lot bigger and leaner than rabbits)
Swanflight nodded and moved forward through the grass, keeping low as to hide her bright white fur as she steadily gained ground on the hare. Finally she stopped before springing forward, swiping at the large brown hare and sending it running right toward Frostfeather.

Frostfeather leaped on the hare though it fought to get away from her. She held tight and bit down on its neck.

Swanflight quickly raced over and helped finish off the hare, though it gave a good kick and scratched her across the face right before she managed to. Stepping back she smiled and nodded, "Good catch. If we find one more like this then the clan will be eating will tonight." She raised a paw and touched where the hare had scratched her across the right side of her face. Blood came off onto her paw but she only shrugged. "It's not deep, let's keep going."

Hey)
"Okay. I'm gonna step back and offer advice here and there if you need it. But I just want to check how well I've done so far training you." Basilwhisker told Desertpaw. He stood back waiting for the apprentice to take the lead.
"Are you sure you shouldn't get that looked at?" Webwillow asked concern clouding her eyes.
Frostfeather tried to figure out a good way to carry the rabbit.
Berrybranch saw Aspenwing come out of the warriors den and left Duskmoon and Hailblaze behind. He trotted over to her. "Hello" he said.

"Yep, I'm fine. It's not like it can get infected during the time we spend catching another rabbit and heading back to camp." Just then a breeze blew by, bringing with it the scent of a rabbit. "Webwillow, stay here with Frostfeather. When I get back with the rabbit you two can carry the hare in between you, sound good?"

"I'm okay. I thought about heading out into the woods. Would you care to join" Berrybranch said with a little bounce.
"Okay." Frostfeather said sitting down the hare and sniffing the air.
Webwillow nodded but she still seemed worried that something might happen. She sat and scented the air.

Desertpaw nodded and led the way to the meadow, pausing every now and then to taste the air to see if he could find anything. He caught the scent of a mouse and dropped down, greatful for the wind to be blowing towards him.He stalked a few heartbeats then leapt, landing square on the vermin.

Swanflight quickly raced off, stopping at the top of a sloping hill and spotting the rabbit about halfway down. She sprinted right at it, managing to get with a few tail lengths before the small creature noticed her and darted, but it noticed her to late. The lean, swift bodied she-cat soon closed the distance and rolled to a stop, the rabbit's neck crushed between her jaws. She rubbed at her scratch, which had gotten a fair amount of dirt across it when she rolled, but soon shrugged and made her way back to the others, her tail held high happily. "It barely saw me coming!" She called out after dropping it.

"Awesome catch." Webwillow purred. "You've got dirt in your scratch. You better go get it checked out as soon as we get back." She demanded of the older warrior.
"Are we ready?" Frostfeather asked before standing and examining the best way to share the weight of carrying the hare.

"Yep! And don't worry, it's fine." Though if she had to admit, it was beginning to ache. Eh, she could go wash it out once she took the rabbit to the fresh-kill pile and made sure the hare made it there as well. No need to visit the medicine cat. "You need help? If need I can trade with one of you to help carry that."

Swanflight nodded and picked up her rabbit before leading the way. She made sure to lead them away from brush and trees, which wasn't hard in the more spacious forest that the clan lived. Making sure the two were alright she sped up just a tad as they then reached the entrance to camp. She raced through the entrance and deposited her rabbit on the fresh-kill pile before returning just as quickly to the other two. "Hm. One cat would have to go first, walking backwards. The other would follow. I'll take your end Frostfeather and be the one going in backwards. Frostfeather, you stand on the other side of the entrance and guide me through, make sure I don;t run into anything and such."

Brightwhisker finishes her mouse and buries the remains. She lays on her side and starts to lazily groom her fur. She didn't really know what else to do.
