When Dark Forest cats (I forget who) watched Poppyfrost's kits be born, what was up with that??

When Graystripe was proud of his kit Mistystar, Bramblestar thought fondly of his days mentoring Squirrelflight, and Beetlewhisker joined a patrol after being brutally murdered.
But non-accidentally, I'd have to say when Jayfeather caused a time paradox by becoming(?) himself from a past life. Still trying to figure that one out. Seems normal now, but the first time I read it, it felt completely out of nowhere.

Puddleshine removing Finleap's tail, off the top of my head. Like, idk about you, but it's awfully hilarious imagining this little fluffball of a cat who's the equivalent to a 15 year old teenage doctor with a very very early degree as a result of brain cramming looking at you straight dead in the eye and speaking with the hardened edge of a 60 year old doc who's seen more shit than anything and going "We have to amputee"

in TRS when Violetshine gave that impassioned speech about how she belonged in Skyclan and that they could get through tough times etc, and ... no one responds. I think Leafstar gave a curt nod and then they continue travelling. I remember thinking that scene was so weird because no one responded?
like, just imagine you're giving this really heartfelt speech about how you finally found the place where you belong, and everyone just meets you with silence and then they continue what theyre doing. pretty awkward

When the tree squished Mudclaw, and literally no one cared, everyone just started cheering that they now had a way to get to the island

Dovepaw using her powers to spy on sorrel and bracken, then thinks better stop listening.
We all can guess what they did after she stopped listening.

Scourge's appearance in The Darkest Hour was pretty weird tbh. Like the whole way through the series, Tigerstar was built up to be the main villain and then this SMOL GOTH BOI materialises out of seemingly no where to push Tigerstar aside??
Quiet Rain appearing out of literally no where, scolding Clear Sky and then immediately dying. I know it's explained in the bonus story but in the UK we didn't get those sooo.
Puddleshine's impulse tail amputation surgery on Finleap was pretty mental too.

It wasn't exactly a moment in the books, but looking through the allegiances, and seeing Snowbird listed as a queen, while Scorchfur was still listed as an apprentice, for like two or three books afterwards, and finding out that he's the father of all of her kits.

okay I've thought this one scene was weird for years but now that I think about it... I'm not even sure it happened? but I've always remembered a scene when they were traveling to the new territory when Hawkfrost and Leafpaw shared a mouse or something?? did that even happen though

I think that was a mistake, but it is possible for an apprentice to be a mate, just very uncommon. Usually it’s not official until they are warriors.

Apparently one of the authors said he did have kits as an apprentice

Something that always bothered me was the sickness in 'The Blazing Star'. I think it was because of the way the cats died, especially Morning Whisker.
Another weird moment I recall is when after Honeyfern died, deathberries were brought to camp, but the snake never returned.

When Bramblestar thought Berrynose had the hots for his half-sister Rosepetal in Bramblestar’s Storm even though he’s happily mates with Poppyfrost.

Lionblaze being incredibly moody and emo while watching the other apprentices enjoy honey
"How easily pleased they were. One day all the honey in the forest would be his. He wasn’t like them— pleased by any small treat. The pang of isolation returned, stronger than ever."
Sorry but that's just so ridiculous

Rootpaw's battletraining on his first or second day as an apprentice, with two older cats. Dewspring and the other mentors were awfully rude to him for that when he is basically a kitten to them. They were like "Huh? What do you want, kiddo? School is over, go play with your friends and don't disturb us adults (but they are like 20 in human years) and then went to chill on some bench or McDonald's
I dislike SkyClan for their training methods.
