Ok, so I live in Japan and I’m wondering if people would be interested if I picked up a few copies of Japanese Warriors books? I’m not really sure what’s in them because books in Junkudo(my local bookstore) tend to be sealed in plastic wrap but the covers look quite nice and I'm sure the allegiances would be interesting.
If I were to buy a few, which books would people be the most interested in seeing?

Power of three! Especially the name changes, if there are any!

That could be interesting to see the changes from book to book.

Definitely. Love Warriors and love Japan. New Prophecies, Midnight, Moonrise and the others. Also how popular is Warriors in Japan?

It's quite hard to pin point how popular Warriors is but it must have a decent following or they wouldn't be selling them in bookstores. We do seem to be quite behind though(I haven't seen That Last Hope pop up in shops yet). Maybe I'll ask the kids that I work with if they've read them! Strangely, the Survivors series seems to be quite popular?

Really? I found all the books out in a few bookstores. Maybe it’s different in Australia.

Japan only puts out one book a year, usually in May. They are only up to The Forgotten Warrior.

I recall the Chinese translation of the books putting down Warriors as samurai, I have no clue if that’s still in the JP books but it’d be interesting to see.

I got a copy of Starlight when I was in Japan couple years back. Personally not much of a fan of the covers tbh but I picked this one 'cause it had Hawkfrost on it. That could be interesting to see the changes from book to book. I was curious about the names as well but they just use the English names (written in katakana of course). I recall the Chinese translation of the books putting down Warriors as samurai, I have no clue if that’s still in the JP books but it’d be interesting to see. They have 戦士猫 so that's just warrior cat. Samurai would be 侍 instead of 戦士.
