It’s about that time of year again where I start craving a good ol’ WC RP. I currently don’t have the energy to commit to a full-on Clan RP, but I’d love a classic 1x1 if there are any takers out there. I can write a good amount (4+ paragraphs on average), but, honestly, I’m coming back from hiatus and I’m not feeling picky. I’ll be happy so long as there’s something there to work with, and for me, that’ll be at least a paragraph. Feel free to comment on this thread or message me if you’re interested. c: Character Concepts Pinestripe — Tom, approximately six seasons old. Pinestripe is a middle-ish aged brown tabby who’s earned his place towards the center of the warriors den after years of dealing with territory disputes, rowdy apprentices, and winter famine. He’s getting up there, but he’s still got a few good seasons in him yet before he’ll entertain the notion of retiring. A little gray fur and the occasional ache in his joints after a rainy evening out isn’t enough to slow him down! Rabbitheart — She-cat, two seasons old. Honestly, it’s hard not to feel like the butt of the joke to your Clan with a name like Rabbitheart. After all, her fears are no different than those of her clanmates. Drowning; widespread illness; the idea of a tiny, leech-like creature growing bigger and bigger inside her before popping out the other end. She might move to the other side of the den when another warrior starts coughing, and yes, she digs her claws in the soil before bending down to drink from the river, but you’ll never see her back down during her Clan’s time of need.

Awesome!
Admittedly, I don’t currently have a plot in mind. I kind of just woke up the other day with the urge to RP warriors again and ran with it. C,: I’m sure we can come up with something fun, though! Do you have anything you particularly enjoy/dislike when it comes to rping warriors? I’m personally not a fan of cats with powers. I like how they are in the original books.

Ohh, maybe the cause of the illness could be due to a new plant (real or ficticous) twolegs have introduced to the forest? A way it could spread is if the prey they’ve been catching is ingesting it, or perhaps even the pollen and/or scent it produces is toxic. Maybe there’s even a patch near some of the herbs the medicine cat gathers and that’s how they contracted it.
What do you think?

Great! We have something to run with then. As for setting, if we’re using the original clans, should they be in the old forest or the new one? Also, which Clan should be our primary focus? I’m thinking any clan but ThunderClan since we spend so much time in that setting with the books.

Same, and I was leaning towards ShadowClan as well! The poor clan never seems to catch a break in canon or in an au lol.

Feel free to take your time with it. Doesn’t have to be detailed or anything either. Mine certainly aren’t lol. I think I’ll be using Pinestripe as my main since he seems more like a ShadowClan cat to me, but I’ll definitely be making more characters as time goes on.

Sure, that works for me! I was thinking we should probably figure out the medicine cat out anyway since they’ll be a focal point for this plot haha. Do you have a preference for any of the roles?
I love the sound of Stonetail! I feel like he and Pinestripe will get along nicely. He’s not especially ambitious either. I imagine he’s been considered for the deputy role once or twice but it’s never appealed to him personally.

Sounds good to me. I can take the deputy. Would you like the medicine cat since you thought of the idea? Or the apprentice?
Oh, I’d love that. Mentors and former apprentices have such an underrated bond I feel. In most cases it’s really sweet. And then there are cats like Tigerclaw and Ashfur who hated/wanted to murder their apprentices lmao.

Sure, and I’ll take the medicine cat apprentice.
Same. Given their age difference, chances are that Stonetail was Pinestripe’s first apprentice too. All the more special. c:
Scalding tea.

Gorsefur, Tom, Medicine cat A lithe white tom with wide paws, a scar that starts between his eyes and travels down the left side of his muzzle, one black ear, and pale blue eyes. Not much to be said about Gorsefur's personality. He's a pretty relaxed guy for the most part, but he does have a tendency to try and be liked by everyone. The scar on his face came from getting his face stuck in a bramble bush as a kitten when him and his siblings tried to escape camp before given their apprentice names.
Thornstar, she-cat, leader A golden brown tabby and white she cat with a heavily scarred right flank. She's very assertive and likes control, though she does have very bad anxiety and is quite jumpy. She talks big but a sudden noise or sensation could send her three meters into the air with puffed out fur. When she was a kit, her mother wanted to name her Streamkit, but her father, who could already tell that his daughter was a pansy, wanted to give her a "stronger name" to help her out with her confidence. Obviously, it worked in some respect but the jumpiness remains strong.

Hmm. Should I make a separate thread for the rp or is here better? Sorry for the delay btw. I’m actually away from home this week so my free time is a bit unpredictable.
Sundapple — She-cat, Deputy, four and a half seasons old A tortoiseshell with green eyes. Sundapple is surprisingly gentle for ShadowClan’s deputy, but don’t misunderstand her; underlying her compassionate nature is a layer of assertiveness ready to make its presence known to those who dare attempt to step on her or her Clan.
Stormbreeze — Tom, Medicine Cat Apprentice, three seasons old A gray tom with blue eyes. After losing his mate and their daughter to greencough last winter, Stormbreeze sought a different path in life and enlisted as Gorsefur’s apprentice. His serious demeanor combined with his determination to serve ShadowClan as their next medicine cat makes him an attentive student, but with only a moon of training undergone, he’s still far from completing his long-term goal.
