“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
In 2415, the world as we knew it came to an end. Humans were at each others throats. War had plagued the planet. Space exploration had been placed on the back burner for military funds. Peace was a distant memory.
Then came the Scavengers. The sleeper cells. The vanguards to a global invasion. They looked just like us. They sounded just like us. They fit right in. They surveyed the lands, the melted ice caps, the flooded plains. They called themselves liberators. The world was left in ruins at the hands of humanity. They took what they wanted, they were invaders with one purpose. Strip the resources from dying planets to feed their own.
Of course, they failed to account for one thing. Established back before the existence of Earth was the GDC. The Galatic Defense Corps as it was better known as. They weren't able to save every planet, but they managed to save the humans that inhabited Earth. It didn't hurt that humans fought back - that they had rallied together in their hour of need for a change. But the planet was left in ruins. Completely void of its resources, life died with it and the meager remains of humanity had to find a place to call home.

The Vast Universe
“Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light.”
Space /spās/ n. the region beyond the earth's atmosphere.
For years, humanity never ventured beyond their walls. Beyond their borders. Not once did they look towards the stars, expanding their research past the galaxy they resided in. Instead they fought among themselves. Struggled like wild dogs for a morsel of meat. They poured their resources and time into creating weapons - bigger, better, stronger.
Their weapons caused catastrophic damage to the people and the land. The other inhabitants of the universe - especially those sharing a galaxy with Earth - resigned themselves to accepting that Earth was Hostile. A threat in every form of the word with a threat level of substantial.
As a result of their hostile nature, Earth was left to its own devices. They perfected warfare. They experimented on their own to create what they came to call "super soldiers".
I dig til my shovel tells a secret, Swear to the Earth I will keep it. Brush off the dirt and let my change of heart occur. Of course, life outside of Earth was different. Space was a bustling hub of activity and the universe was vast. Each and every inhabitant was different. Some planets were filled with nomadic tribes who were peaceful but preferred isolation and upholding tradition. Others are technological hubs, open gatherings of the best and brightest minds in the universe.
Every day, a new planet is discovered. Every day, a new species is added to the database. All over the universe - in each and every galaxy - there are space stations planted among the stars.
Intergalactic space travel is being improved upon, finessed. Light speed travel is now being perfected, intergalactic translators being updated with the newest languages.
There is still so much that is unknown. Many undiscovered planets, many cultures and languages to input into the databases. But explorers, mercenaries, and peace corps groups alike add to the ever growing databases.

The Vast Universe [cont.]
“Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.” All planets are categorized based on three factors. The first is based on the planets' inhabitants:Temperament⮚ Peaceful⮚ Neutral⮚ BelligerentThreat level⮚ Low⮚ Moderate⮚ Substantial⮚ Severe⮚ CriticalTechnological Advancement⮚ Type I - Planetary⮚ Type II - Stellar⮚ Type III - GalacticFurthermore, recorded information include: resources available, the major biome, whether or not it's inhabitable, the common species, and the culture and life of its inhabitantsSome planets, space stations, and even ships are given special labels by the IGM:⮚ Peace Corps: They open their arms to anyone in need, they're always ready to take in stragglers and those without homes. In case of severe injury or lack of resources, they are also eager and willing to give as needed⮚ Ally: Aligned with the IGM, their resources are readily available to those who work for the IGM and their reception is friendly⮚ Bounty Hunters: The IGM aren't fond of them getting in the way of dangerous jobs to capture high profile targets, but bounty hunters generally stick to their own and aren't a threat unless their livelihood or their own are put in the line of fire.⮚ Mercenaries: Space mercenaries have no code of conduct and no morals. They work for the highest bidder. On one occasion, a band of mercenary can be working with the IGM and on the next - against.⮚ Raider: Assigned to the criminal sort that infiltrate planets, space stations, and peaceful ships for resources, money, and fame⮚ Conquistador: War-hungry planets and space stations, extremely hostile and dangerous.Alien species are also categorized based on: diet, lifestyle, culture, beliefs, advancements, and abilities. Depending on an environment a certain species hails from, they sometimes are incompatible with certain mannerisms and cultures.Accessing IGM File Logs...

There is not a single group in the IGM more infamous than the Phantom Corps. One of the regiments in the IGM Army's Special Forces Command, the Phantom Corps are trained to operate in all environments. The Phantom Corps are handpicked from the crème de la crème; the best of the best.
They are highly experienced, reputed, extremely professional, and a prolific force to be reckoned with. Every member of the Phantom Corps are regarded as elite and dangerous.
They are capable of undertaking operations in air, land, sea, and space. They are trained combat divers and parachutists. They also have been taught how to pilot mechas and utilize armored exoskeletons. They are static line para jump qualified and free-fall [HALO/HAHO] para jumps qualified.
Their training includes sabotage and mines training, physical training, parachute training, covert operations and partisan warfare, special air training, intelligence training, and armored warfare training among many things. They are known to have a very low acceptance rate with approximately 80% of applicants dropping out within the first week of training.
The Phantom Corps utilizes a specialized training in anti-terrorism, guerrilla warfare, covert ops, and special operations. Many of the Phantom Corps personnel are trained as medics and paramedics, all teams have at least four. They are specialized in capture or kill methods and perform the most complex, classified, and dangerous missions in the IGM.
The Phantom Corps are always on the move. The exact size of the operations is unknown. What is known is that they are divided into specialized squadrons consisting of 64 individuals commanded by a Colonel[OF-5], divided into four troops of 16. The squadron CO is the Colonel[leader of troop 1], the squadron XO is a Lieutenant Colonel[OF-4, leader of troop 2]. They are assisted by the leaders of troop 3 & 4 who are operations officers, they are Majors[OF-3]. These squadrons are housed in free floating space stations. Members of squadrons are tight knit, they treat one another like family. They rarely ever return to the IGM HQ.
The troops are organized as followed:
⮚ Two Officers
- Commanding Officer [OF-3 to OF-5] Team leader, responsible for outfitting the troop, organizing missions, and briefing the unit.
- Executive Officer [OF-1/OF-2] Assists the CO, ready to take command if needed.
⮚ Fourteen Sergeants [OR-5 to OR-9]
- Operations Sergeant [OR-9] Responsible for the overall organization, functionality, and training of the team. Makes sure the team is outfitted correctly and supports the CO.
- Assistant Operations and Intelligence Sergeant Ensures the team has all the equipment and supplies needed for the mission, gathers and analyzes mission critical intelligence.
- Weapons Sergeants x2 Experts in a wide range of weaponry from pistols to light artillery and anti-aircraft missiles.
- Communication Sergeants x2 The Lifelines. Responsible for establishing and maintaining communications, proficient at everything from morse code to encrypted satellite transmissions and IT technology.
- Medical Sergeants x2 First class battlefield trauma medical technicians, proficient in more general medical care as well. Also trained to treat the medical problems of local populations, they become "paramedics" upon completion of their PC medical training. Their capabilities include: Advanced Trauma Life Support, limited surgery, dentistry, and even veterinarian procedures.
- Engineering Sergeants x2 Experts in demolitions, proficient in military and civil construction and carry out a range of projects from fortifications to civil engineering tasks such as digging wells or building a schoolhouse.
- Technician The technician or techie of the team excels at creation and maintenance of on the team's tech including but not limited to power armors, exoskeletons, and prosthetic. Exceptional hacker and mechanical engineer, handy with fixing weapons as well.
- Vehicle Specialist The pilot, can operate just about any vehicle including but not limited to spaceships, aircraft, armored vehicles, cars, boats, mechas, etc. Exceptional mechanical engineer.
- Designated Marksman The middle ranged marksman, operating from ranges of 300 - 600 meters. Faster rate of firing, less accurate semi-automatic rifles. Intended to lay down accurate rapid fire at valuable targets, the sharpshooter that moves with the team.
- Sniper The overwatch, utilizing heavily accurate but slow firing rifles with intensive training in intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance. Fixed strategic positioning and camouflage.
These troops of 16 are also known to operate in smaller teams of four known as patrols. Patrols are led by the highest ranking members of the team. The first is led by the CO, the second by the XO, the third by the Operations Sergeant, and the fourth by the highest ranking operative after the Operations Sergeant generally ranked at OR-9 or OR-8. All patrols have at least one communications specialist, combat medic, and linguist.
These troops are almost unlimited in their capabilities to operate in hostile or denied areas. They can operate for an indefinite period of time in remote locations with little to no outside support. They are independent and self-sustaining and are highly versatile. They are also all trained in leadership and can recruit, organize, and train indigenous combat forces against enemies.
The Phantom Corps are known for their cross-training programs with other branches making them have a very rounded skill set. All members of the Phantom Corps are multilingual and they may share skills outside of their designated roles including, but not limited to, marksmanship, weapons handling, medical training, etc.
They are outfitted with state of the art technology including exoskeletons and power armors that enhance their abilities. Their weaponry, drones, vehicles, and prosthetics are among the best in the universe. Fournier Alphonse 195821329076 AB- Phantom Corps Alpha Team - Operative Ghost⮚ [ Rank ] - Colonel, OF-5. Commanding Officer of PC-115 Space Station, Alpha Team. Patrol Lead. ⮚ [ Age ] - REDACTED ⮚ [ Species ] - Enhanced Human ⮚ [ Gender ] - Male ⮚ [ Years of Service ] - REDACTED
⮚ Alphonse stands at 6'1" with a lean muscular build. He has well groomed black hair that is greying at the temples and in the middle and an olive complexion. He's got two scars across his right cheek and a diagonal scar over his lips. He's got a heavily scarred building and it should be noted that he lacks a natural left arm from the elbow down and a right leg from the thigh down. In their place he has two highly advanced black titanium prosthetics. His prosthetic arm has a compartment that can house weapons and both his robotic limbs can withstand an extreme amount of damage. His spine and ribcage is also reinforced by a titanium alloy. ⮚ He wears a form fitting stealth suit that blends into the surroundings. It also has an invisibility function where he it behaves like a chameleon's camouflage. This suit also has the ability to cover heat signatures and is very environmentally resistant, able to function in extreme heat and cold. Above that he wears a bullet proof vest that is a metal exoskeleton that can morph around his form. He wears a cloak over that and a helmet that has infra-vision and night vision functions built into it.
⮚ [ Equipment ] - energy weapon (can function as a knife, dagger, or sword depending on range), assault rifle, pistol, intergalactic map ⮚ [ Specialties ] - cqc specialist, stealth, strategy, interrogations, linguist ⮚ [ Abilities ] - Enhanced strength, speed, and stamina. Inhuman regenerative properties and reflexes, extreme durability, eyes have built in motion sensors and enhanced perception
⮚ Student of the law, originally a paratrooper, French/Indian origins, one of the first test subjects for the 'super soldier project'. Doesn't seem to age any longer and is much more resilient than the average human. Some believe he was present at the end of the Earth during the invasion.
⮚ [ Level ] - REDACTED ⮚ [ Base Stats ] - STR # DEX # CHR # CON # INT # WIS #
Dorji Chime 11806568931 O HX+ Phantom Corps Alpha Team - Operative Virgil⮚ [ Rank ] - Staff Sergeant, OR-6. PC-115 Space Station, Alpha Team. Technician. ⮚ [ Age ] - 39 ⮚ [ Species ] - Cyborg/Shadow Walker ⮚ [ Gender ] - Male ⮚ [ Years of Service ] - 17 years
⮚ He has black hair and a van . His eyes are black in color except the iris is white, a common trait for shadow walkers. He doesn't give off a sound when he walks either, yet another common trait for that species. He has a light tan complexion and a scar across his nose and one near his left temple. Shadow walkers are known for their eerie eyes, lack of sound when they walk, and the pure breeds have a wispy form that is almost-mist like appearance to them even though they're tangible and solid. Virgil is more half-machine than half-human, having replaced a lot of his human parts for more mechanical and cybernetic ones. Even his bones are metal. He's part of a pet project to make a light weight but immensely strong super soldier. He's 5'9" with a lean and muscular build. ⮚ Virgil wears a visor over his eyes that allows him to see the infrastructures of buildings and access control panels that is connected to his biomechanical right arm. He wears a hat sometimes, but never seems to be without his ear muffs that sometimes multipurpose as a headset for him to listen to his music. He's very light weight in terms of attire with a light body suit and protective vest. However, he carries a massive backpack filled with a number of tools and trinkets and it's ridiculously heavy but also a testament of his enhanced strength.
⮚ [ Equipment ] - heavy backpack filled with tools varying from electronic lockpicks to a machine that can invade small spaces and survey the area, assault rifle, pistol, knife, projectile taser ⮚ [ Specialties ] - weapons specialist[rifles and pistols], hacker, mechanic, engineer ⮚ [ Abilities ] - silent footsteps, lightweight but inhumanely strong, enhanced speed and stamina, enhanced intelligence and perception, mind is hooked into the intergalatic network and is a sea of knowledge and information
⮚ Born on a spacestation as a human/alien hybrid, Virgil's had his fair share of run-ins with humans that were xenophobic. Not that he cared. He's always been something of a troublemaker, preferring the hate stem from his actions rather than his origins. He fell in with the wrong crowd and utilized his incredible intelligence to hack into organizations that shouldn't exist putting him on a dangerous radar. He was taken in by the IGM almost immediately after he made a name for himself in the galaxy to keep the damage to a minimum. He had a hard time fitting into military life but as time went on, he found himself enjoying himself. The job and the people alike were interesting. On the side he also began a petproject, experimenting with AI. He's hit a gold mine with an AI he calls O.R.I.O.N.
Phantom Corps Alpha Team - Operative Cthulu⮚ [ Rank ] - Sergeant First Class, OR-7. PC 115 Space Station, Alpha Team. Weapons Sergeant. ⮚ [ Age ] - 45 ⮚ [ Species ] - Crawler ⮚ [ Gender ] - Male ⮚ [ Years of Service ] - 23 years
⮚ Humanoid on the surface like many other crawlers, it's what they look like up close that catches most off guard. From a distance, what looks like a normal beard turns out to be a collection of tentacles. It's hard to see any inhuman features underneath Nox's goggles, but he has a collection of six glowing red eyes and a distinctly blueish hue to his flesh that only seems to get brighter under stress. He can extend a series of tentacles from his back and body and there's suspicions that he has a completely inhuman form though he's never assumed it before in his years of service. He stands at about 7'4" and he's pure muscle and rather intimidating. His beast form is a deep blue green in color. His more humanoid shape disappears into a more beastly mass of tentacles and his mouth becomes more like that of an octopus. He is about 12' tall in this form and highly flexible. ⮚ Nox's combat suit is highly breathable and is composed of nanoparticles that can assemble and disassemble around his tentacles. It's got a built in camo system that blends into their surroundings as due to standard protocol. Above it, he wears a metal exoskeleton that has built in projectile rockets and helps take off the strain from his back when he carries heavy weaponry. His outfit's actual color is a soot grey camo and he always seems to wear a blue scarf to hide the tentacles his mask fails to cover, claiming they're "sensitive to the exterior environment".
⮚ [ Equipment ] - demolitions, light machine gun, grenade launcher ⮚ [ Specialties ] - demolitions specialist, vehicles specialist, weapons specialist with a focus on heavier weaponry and artillery ⮚ [ Abilities ] - enhanced strength, stamina, and endurance, tentacles function like additional limbs, can grab items and utilize them, can see in the dark, iron stomach, can breathe both oxygen and nearly all liquids, beast form
⮚ A native to Europa, Nox joined the IGM for a chance to see the world. Before the IGM, Nox has never interacted with others outside the crawlres before and it comes as a surprise to him how fragile many other species are. He is also considered very young for his species considering most of them live for hundreds of years. He was part of the IGM Marine Corps prior to his recruitment by the Phantom Corps.
Phantom Corps Bravo Team - Operative Whiskey⮚ [ Rank ] - Sergeant First Class, OR-7. PC 115 Space Station, Bravo Team. Sniper. ⮚ [ Age ] - 49 ⮚ [ Species ] - Drayl ⮚ [ Gender ] - Male ⮚ [ Years of Service ] - 34 years
⮚ Another humanoid looking species, from a distance the drayl look rather normal though a little abnormal. They're a lot lankier than a human should be. They almost look skeletal, though many would describe them like willowy trees. They have a barklike texture to their flesh and a wide mouth filled with sharp teeth. They're a carnivorous species known to eat just about anything with a pulse. They also have feral looking eyes. Xyl exhibits all these traits with his dark brown skin tone, golden eyes, and flashy white teeth. He stands at about 6'0" with a twiggy build. He's quite steady on his feet despite looking like a strong wind could blow him over. ⮚ Xyl wears the cyberspace equivalent of a ghillie suit. The long tendrils of his suit seems to blend into the texture of the environment and the colors seamlessly, allowing him to essentially appear like a rock or a tree or a shrub as long as he's still enough and his rifle doesn't catch the glare of the sun. He also carries a heavy backpack filled with survival gear and rocket boots that lets him jump from one ledge to another. He also has a light weight vest. When the camo isn't activated, the suit is actually green and paired with his flesh he looks like a tree. It's ridiculous.
⮚ [ Equipment ] - sniper rifle with varying ammunition, smoke grenades, blinding powder, dagger ⮚ [ Specialties ] - fauna/flora specialist, sniping, hunting, navigation, stealth, combat medic ⮚ [ Abilities ] - regenerative photosynthesis, can eat raw and spoiled meat, can accelerate growth of flora, can sense movement through the terrain, super hearing can pick apart sounds that don't belong in the wilderness, incredible sense of smell, able to stay still for days without problem, can go hungry for weeks before dying
⮚ Part of a nomadic species, Xyl is a survivor by nature. Deciding he was tired of the hunter-gatherer life, however, Xyl enlisted in the military and eventually was drafted into the IGM due to his extraordinary performance on the field. He's a very decorated sniper and though he's not much of a leader, he's got his moments. He's also one of few Drayl on file, hence his low service number. He's very young for a Drayl, but they also mature at the age of 10.
Phantom Corps Bravo Team - Operative Cerberus II⮚ [ Rank ] - Sergeant Major, OR-9. PC 115 Space Station, Bravo Team. Operations Sergeant. Patrol Lead. ⮚ [ Age ] - 917 ⮚ [ Species ] - Noor, ( نور ) ⮚ [ Gender ] - Male ⮚ [ Years of Service ] - REDACTED
⮚ 6'6" and composed of pure muscle. Fatin has a dark complexion and dark brown hair. He has rather human looking features with a sculpted face and long lashes. He has the same beauty mark on the right side of his chin like his triplets. His eyes are a dark shade of red, almost mistakable for brown. One noticeable feature is that all his teeth are long and pointed. Fatin is distinguishable from his brothers due to a scar over his nose bridge. He also grooms his hair well in a pompadour and has light stubble. In his beastly form, they stand at about 9'0", give or take. His body distorts and their head changes to look more like that of a canine. His skin grows a protective layer of fur over it, black in color with gold runes coursing through it. His eyes are unmistakably red with flecks of gold, no pupil to be seen. He grows two additional arms in this form and a long tail. His ears are pointed and their maws long and sharp, akin to a doberman. His human scars transfer to this form. ⮚ Fatin's combat suit is similar in make and model to that of his brothers'. It's state of the art and form fitting with a distinguishable black and gold palette. It's made to be able to morph around his beastly form with ease and the suit actually can change it's camo pattern to match his surroundings. His is the median between his brothers. He has extra plating around his chest and neck. His suit can also enhance the his fire manipulation.
⮚ [ Equipment ] - A special chain whip that is compatible with his magic as well as a pair of gloves that are compatible with his claws, medical supplies ⮚ [ Specialties ] - Assault rifles, mid-ranged to close combat utilizing a chain whip that is compatible with high heats, linguist, analyzing strengths and weaknesses ⮚ [ Abilities ] - Limited self teleportation and fire manipulation, beastly form, heightened sense of smell and hearing, strong durable claws that can cut through most substances, minor regenerative properties, extreme durability, enhanced strength, immunity to unbearable heat, fire, and even lava, can replace teleport with his triplets
⮚ The Elmahdy Three. Their reputation precedes them. Vicious, murderous, reformed. From a dying planet, the Elmahdy Three had left the remains of their planet behind in search of a better place to call home. They fell in with the criminal sort and together the three masterminded many brave and daring crimes. However, due to their unique skill set and abilities, the IGM decided to pardon them early on good behavior and recruit them. They were three for the price of one and their exceptional drive landed them in the Phantom Corps. Inseparable, they refused to have it any other way than them being on the same platoon. Anything else and they would leave, never to return. Seeing as their kind doesn't have a known lifespan since the only thing that has ever claimed them was death through combat and illness, the idea of allowing the Elmahdy Three to break loose in the universe in a different galaxy was unacceptable. As a result, they were placed in PC-115. They've been serving the Phantom Corps for a long time and have only given promising results.

He has the same beauty mark on the right side of his chin like his triplets. His eyes are a dark shade of red, almost mistakable for brown. One noticeable feature is that all his teeth are long and pointed. Hakim is distinguishable from his brothers due to a long scar cutting through his right eye. He also grooms his hair well and makes sure it voluminous though it always seems to become messy looking. Hakim also has a standard goatee. ⮚ Hakim's combat suit is similar in make and model to that of his brothers'. It's state of the art and form fitting with a distinguishable black and gold palette. It's made to be able to morph around his beastly form with ease and the suit actually can change it's camo pattern to match his surroundings. Of the three, his is the heaviest built with additional compartments and extra weaponry. It's a lot heavier than his brothers' and makes for less mobility, but who needs mobility when you're a walking tank? His suit can also enhance the his fire manipulation.

revising this, going to steal from the SAS structure instead. - 16 members per troop [team] - can split up into patrols of 4 and work cohesively as a unit -> co leads one patrol, xo leads the second patrol, third & fourth patrols are led by members with highest seniority[E-8 or E-9] - will probably be more similar to the special projects team with specialization in close quarter battle, sniping, etc. - 2 officers, 14 sergeants - special forces qualified, cross trained, multilingual, all are capable of functioning alone - CO: Rank OF-3 to OF-4 - XO: Rank OF-1 to OF-2 - 2 Senior Members OR-8/OR-9 [patrol leads] + 12 members OR-5 to OR-8: communications, demolitions, medic, weapons specialist, strategist, automatic rifleman, gunner, designated marksman, grenadier
alpha team - co: Ghost xo: Asra operations sergeant: asst. operations & intelligence sergeant: weapons sergeants: Cthulu & communications sergeants: Banshee & medical sergeants: engineering sergeants: technician: Virgil [+O.R.I.O.N.] vehicles specialist: designated marksman: Noel sniper:
bravo - co: xo: operations sergeant: Cerberus II asst. operations & intelligence sergeant: Cerberus I weapons sergeants: communications sergeants: medical sergeants: engineering sergeants: Cerberus III & technician: vehicles specialist: designated marksman: sniper: Whiskey

Phantom Corps Name Team - Operative Noel⮚ [ Rank ] - Designated Marksman, E-6 ⮚ [ Age ] - 32 ⮚ [ Species ] - Human mutant ⮚ [ Gender ] - Male ⮚ [ Years of Service ] - 12
⮚ Looks nearly identical to a human, save for some obvious points of difference. He stands tall (6'1"), and has a lean, hard body like that of a prolific distance runner. His skin is fair, though tanned from many long days under the sun, and marred with many scars--some new and pink, some old and brown. His eyes are a striking shade of light blue, tinged with brown on the periphery. His hair is dusty blond and shoulder length--long for the military--but he typically keeps the long strands tied back in a bun or ponytail, with the shorter strands framing his face. His facial features are sharp and angular, and his ears are elongated and pointed (think of an elf's)--a product of evolution. It's also worth noting that he is completely mute--lacking a tongue, he cannot speak at all. Technological advances that sort of 'read his mind' can act as a de facto 'voice' when he really needs it, but if he's not on a mission, Bridge prefers living without it. ⮚ Bridge's combat armor is state-of-the-art and custom tailored to his fighting style. It's an incredibly tough but malleable sort of catsuit so he can jump, sprint, and twist comfortably. It's made of woven black fabric that moves with him and diamond dust for durability. The suit covers his nose and mouth as well to protect him from smoke or chemical gas inhalation. He typically wears a hooded poncho on top, which has also been reinforced with the tough material. The color of the outfit is dark navy blue, with crimson and gold details (for style).
⮚ [ Equipment ] - Electrified longsword, shield, bow and quiver (explosive tips), brass knuckles, leather gloves ⮚ [ Specialties ] - Expert marksman and archer, extremely skilled acrobat. ⮚ [ Abilities ] - Greatly enhance physical capabilities from that of a typical human. Incredible stamina, strength, vision, and hearing. Has a more durable body capable of resisting injury, up to a certain extent.
⮚ Member of the mutated group of humans that inhabits [Planet] after having fled from a ruined Earth. [Planet] is characterized for its incredibly rugged and densely terrain, and Bridge's race has adapted over the millennia to physically conquer the land. Their numbers had always been small, so when a nomadic group of barbarians sought to extract the resources out of this untapped planet, they were wiped out with it in an act of ethnic cleansing and genocide. Bridge was lucky enough to survive the torture that left him mute, but he's now virtually alone in the universe. He joined the IGM so he could prevent the same atrocities from occurring to other people.

Not quite unless you have any ideas for planets/aliens/factions you'd like to see so I can throw them in the good 'ol idea generator and try to make something of it! That and what's your opinion on maybe a loose rough-and-tumble stats system, maybe even some classes/roles and levels based on tabletop rpgs?

hmm i think a stats system would make it easier to visualize what a character's skill levels are and might be useful in developing characters. it would make you really think about where your oc is strongest and weakest.
