introduction 0. the fool
Vadejira is a city of danger. Drugs, deals, all forms of organized crime--these aren't just underground anymore. The police have been pushed back and bribed to the point that the original legislature barely stands; even if it did, there's certainly no one enforcing it. Three factions currently control the city, much evolved from the small street and Angel Ash gangs they began as. Each of them own districts and enough mages for an army, but they constantly compete for territory. The people of Vadejira have accepted the new form of "government" considering landlord protection of businesses and how, even with their magic, they would not win a fight. Faction wars are just that-- wars. Those who have pledged their lives to their sect will die if necessary, and casualties are unavoidable.
And now, the head of Ver Tahesh--clan responsible for the majority of Angel Ash trafficking in Vadejira--has been found dead. With most substance abuse in the city caused directly by Riven Shah and considering the money pulled in from the trade, it's easy to imagine just how many people might want him six feet under. But that only makes it harder to find out who did the damage that has currently plunged Ver Tahesh and parts of Vadejira into chaos. The other two factions now fight for Ver Tahesh's territory while they scramble for a new leader, and the Angel Ash lines are being bought. There are more sect members crossing territory to find out more, and the streets should not be walked at night. Within this discord, one can only wonder--what was the goal, what motivation could have brought this?

worldbuilding; magicI. the magician
Not just a city of danger, however, Vadejira sits in a world in which everyone is a magic user. Everyone is born with an ability pertaining to one domain--say, Elemental Fire, Invocation, many different forms of emotional Manipulation, Blood magic, Enchantment--and each person has both a boon and bane to their power. Some domains are considered Dark Arts magic, harboring evil or only used for evil, and such are looked down upon. Some Dark Arts users might hide their power or attempt to use it in a way that might conceal its true nature. Some domains could be relatively neutral, like Claricognizance, but they can also be used for malice. Mentality based and ESP based domains are often distrusted because of this--as one can expect when someone's magic could allow them to dig into your memories.
Having magical abilities is certainly fun, but there must always be fault. All magic users are susceptible to Demon Whispers. The Demons, generally under the Seven Sins (Wrath, Pride, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Envy, Sloth), are beings that seek to create chaos in the material world through humans. Demon Whispers are like voices in your head, though it is hard to distinguish if that voice is yours or not. Some people may be able to realize they are being Whispered to, some may not. Some people may be okay with the Whisperings.
While there are definitely jobs that require certain magicks or at least prefer them, this is a regular modern world that, other than some magically-created technological advancements, needs regular maintenance--even mundane careers. Of course, there are positions that would not exist in a non-magic world: apothecaries have magical items and ingredients, some of which--like Angel Ash--are highly regulated and need a prescription. Someone working at an apothecary needs knowledge of many magical substances, so they don't necessarily need a certain domain to be run. Enchantment shops, however--like for books, items, weapons--need powerful spellcasters that can weave intricate spells into objects like coding. There is a difference between an Elemental spellcaster, someone who can summon and control something like water, and an Enchanting spellcaster. Without the help of talented Enchanters, things would certainly fall into disarray. That means Enchanters are in high demand and receive good pay.
worldbuilding; societyII. the high priestess
As previously stated, Vadejira is a city of danger. The factions are mafia-like organizations with a hierarchy that starts with the boss, or leader, or King/Queen depending on which group you go to, and ends with a large following that will use their magic to aid their faction. Of this nature, they generally charge businesses in their territories for "protection", they remember who, under their rule, oppose them, and they will use various means to get what they want. Many Dark Arts users find a home in the factions, because they aren't constantly suspected of evil there. Granted, once in a faction, the evil is guaranteed--at least in action. Many members of the groups don't necessarily want or care about their leader's goal, but see it as a good pay opportunity or a good chance to not get killed; depending on where they stand on the ladder. Joining a faction means protection. And, being a roleplay with drama, that of course means that there are members who have joined to secretly get revenge, or to get revenge on another faction. There are countless reasons why one might join, but there aren't a lot of ways to get out after that.
And of course, being a city of crime, there are definitely more chances for criminal activity outside of the factions. One does not necessarily need to be aligned in Vadejira, though it is harder to run alone. Servicing a faction might make you a target. The police are not a large problem, but, like the 1920's LAPD, they are certainly crooked. Squads who have been bribed or blackmailed by a faction therefore work under that leader and can be persuaded to jail you at their leader's behest.
Angel Ash is a drug that can be likened to cocaine and/or opioids in our world, except it has magical properties. It dulls pain, provides a high of sorts, and not only does it boost magic ability but dampens the bane some magick users have with their power. It can be snorted, swallowed, or injected (the latter causes the most damage as it needs to be warmed and putting it directly in your veins is obviously bad), and on its own looks like a glittery white that reflects in colors of lavender and blue. The majority do not know how it is produced.

worldbuilding; geographyIII. the empress
Vadejira is an urban area with downtown gridlock designs, a few skyscrapers, and a large nightlife. Even with the factions, it supports important global businesses. Surrounding Downtown are "calmer" neighborhoods--the Bowery, High Terrace, Radial City, Ashburn Park, and, like any good city has, the Tenderloin. The Bowery is a nice place to live and not too expensive--it's thriving with small businesses and has a slightly more "small town" feel compared to the rest of the city. High Terrace is the expensive neighborhood with an "old money" feel and a pompous attitude expected of the rich residents there. Restaurants and cafes are good but extremely expensive, and many people are judgmental. Radial City has the rest of the nightlife outside of Downtown and a little less danger. The best clubs, bars, and (legal) entertainment can be found here, and it's also where most of the resistance lives. Anyone who has some sort of rebellious, anarchist attitude towards the factions live in the cheap apartments above loud clubs. Ashburn Park holds the best schools and knowledge of magic--including the best apothecaries and enchanters. It is busy, like a tourist area, and they hold a lot of shows and competitions there. The Tenderloin, like every other tenderloin, holds the most danger. This is where illicit activities are done, where certain trades exist, where most of the crime in Vadejira takes place. A lot of faction activity is found here, but it's also where to find a lot of the non-associated criminals. Clubs and bars here are usually fronts and it is definitely not safe here--day or night.
Vadejira lies somewhere on our Earth, so if your character has an accent or you want to describe their origins, you can freely do so. There is no defined country it lives in, and we will refer to the language as Common so accents can be described without making it too American/English-centric.

factions; descriptionsiv. the emperor
Fourniers; The Fourniers dabble in many art forms, priding themselves in professional business. They specialize in money laundering, counterfeiting (money, consumer goods), assassinations, gambling, extortion, bribery, grand larceny (jewels, art), and loansharking. They are identified rather easily because they all dress well, even the low ranking members. They have an image to uphold. High ranking members wear signature white suits that warn you of their presence. A requirement of membership is professionalism--you must not be angered easily, you must be calm and calculated, both in mannerisms and appearance. Anything less will not go unpunished. While the Fourniers have the use of firearms, they prefer knives and poison magicks since guns are "sloppy and lazy". When someone comes up dead because their throat was slit or they were poisoned, everyone knows the culprit. That is not to say they are adverse to torture. They will use more barbaric weaponry as a punishment or as a means of getting information. This is not a new development; the Fourniers are family business and the current Owners are twins Adrien and Γmilien. They are identical twins and continue the legacy of their family line. Although you might become a Fournier by name, you must be one of blood to take Ownership under the long standing rule. This organization is run like a business and they own many of the corporations in Vadejira. This is why they get away with so much. They do not interact that much with the working class, who are not valuable to them. Yes, they strong-arm local shops and maintain their territory, but they don't go around threatening the people for no good reason. Again, they are not a street gang, they are professionals. The Fourniers have pull in the government and the police--though that isn't to say other factions cannot bribe anyone. The Fourniers use enough blackmail to get what they want. [ desdemona ]
Ver Tahesh; Ver Tahesh is set up like a kingdom, almost, even with loyalty. Members are not necessarily kept out of fear, but out of respect and devotion. They see themselves as better and higher than the gangsters and mobsters that also inhabit this town. That being said, it makes Ver Tahesh all the more cult-like. They control the majority of the Angel Ash import into Vadejira--from the big jobs to street deals. Many of the members get addicted, thus addicting to the odd mood Ver Tahesh has going for it. They do not handle betrayal well. Since members give respect and get it in return, betrayal is highly punished. You don't leave Ver Tahesh once you join. It is a family, your new family. The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. They love using magicks and go out of their way to find people with dark, unaccepted magic domains. This is a manipulation tactic--the world has turned on you, but Ver Tahesh will take you in. Will love you. And they will, they will take care of you and your family in exchange for your loyalty. Otherwise, they will be punished. Along with the drug trafficking, they also carry out grand larceny, loansharking, extortion, and over all violence. They are very brutal in their attacks, but also specific. Violence is punishment--a store that did not pay its dues, the family of a traitor, or a beat down behind closed doors. Anything to teach a lesson.
[ open ]
Spades; The Spades are what you might consider a street gang, but they also have the most members since there are less rules about joining. A fun, violent club, the Spades are known for scrap weapons, beatdowns, raids, robbery, extortion, and most importantly, gambling. You wouldn't think the Spades, identified by spade tattoos, would be the best group to run multiple gambling operations, but they do it well. Dog fights, human fights, betting, sports, races, sabotage, cards, games--you name it, they have a handle. Spades is not against the government, they are against the people. They want to be society. And so, the valuables of the rich and the poor are the same. Competition is not welcome and will be quashed with brutality. They are known for makeshift weapons--bats with nails, pipes, shivs, barbed wires, etc.--along with miscellaneous magicks coming from whoever happens to have a good power. The members of the Spades don't often have powerful magicks and make up for it with the power being a Spade gives them. They never work alone, always in groups, and beatdowns and torture are more common than hits. Not that they are afraid to kill, but you can't feel pain and therefore fear if you're dead, right?

rulesvii. the chariot
- forum rules, of course
- if it gets more than PG-13, head to discord my dude, i.e. please dont get this deleted hfjdskfkjsdhfkj
- of course LGBTQ is allowed why is that a question
- i do not care about literacy in ooc posts, but rp posts must be literate and at least one good paragraph with good grammar, punctuation, the works. i prefer two paragraphs but life is short and also hard. please do not go too ham. ive seen like... 10+ paragraph posts that is a lot of exposition and doesn't give other characters a chance to interject. i totally get monologuing and descriptors, but please do not make them the norm.
- multiple literacy issues will be noted and corrected, then removal will be considered. i know education is classist in a society where you pay to play, and i am sorry for this one, but this is a writing thing for literate people trying to rp with others at their level. too many notable instances will result in removal--rping with someone without good literacy skills is extremely irritating and kills the writing mood. again, i know, education evil, but. writing forum....
- please be a good person. this shouldn't have to be a rule; even if you are cool here, if you are Not Good elsewhere, there may be repercussions. i want every innocent in this rp to feel comfortable
- a lot of stuff will be fleshed out in roleplay, more like a tabletop game. i like it when everyone has to pay attention to things and everyone can create--i'm not going to layout the whole city, for instance, cause that could stifle y'all. i don't want you to color in the lines. also, the character descriptions are short because it's more fun for other things to come out in rp--like history, where the other person doesn't know, and it makes interactions more genuine.

characters; descriptionsix. the hermit unaffiliated ; Mateo Kolar;24 ; he/him ; apothecary's apprentice ; the fool- A bit naive, constantly trying to prove himself. Optimistic and thoughtful but ultimately self-serving when push comes to shove. An opportunist, but lacks critical observation skills and patience. - Fair skin and soft, dark hair that's beginning to get a little too long so it falls into his noticeably light green eyes. 5'11" at full height but often stoops over. Has burn scarring creeping up his neck from his collarbone. - Water manipulation: control over water, but is unable to conjure it himself. Can only manipulate it from bigger sources but is unable to control any larger bodies than roughly the size of a bathtub. It is only with pure water, anything combined with it or another kind of liquid negates the ability.Elwyn Azal; Stardust 25 ; she/her ; thief ; high priestess - Serious, realistic, and trusts very few(if any)people. She's extremely stubborn and will rarely, if ever, budge on her decisions and choices. She's caring and tends to watch out for those less fortunate. - Long, silvery-blonde hair that's generally tied into braid. About 5'5'' with dark skin, pointed features, amber eyes, and a slightly muscular build. - Teleportation; she can teleport about 7ft max in any direction. However the further she teleports the longer it takes for her to do it again. It can take anywhere from thirty seconds to a few minutes to "recharge". She can't pass through solid objects and won't teleport in complete darkness in concern for her own safety. Whenever she uses her ability, she leaves a little bit of silvery-white dust from where she teleports. Kai Nicollier; Serpent27 ; he/him ; informant; the hanged man- distanced, independent, distrustful person; intelligent but quick to judgement. self-preserving. - about 5'8" with long, angel blond hair; looks androgynous or feminine, blue eyes, thin and agile. large snake tattoo comes out from under right sleeve to right hand--unsure where it begins - shadow manipulation: can disappear into and move amongst shadows in a 100 ft radius; can manipulate shadows into tangible things within a 50 ft radius. cannot manipulate shadows while amongst them.Bael; The White Devil17 ; he/him ; rogue ; death - Arrogant and stubborn, with a strong dislike of authority in any way. Control freak in many situations. Anxious. Quick to anger and often pushes others away. Deep sense of self loathing. - Albino. Short white hair that's normally slicked up. Pale blue eyes that does a poor job at reflecting sunlight. The blood vessels in his eyes show up in harsh sunlight, making his eyes look red in some cases. Often wears circular sunglasses with orange lenses because of his poor eyesight in bright light. Pale skin that is sensitive to the sunlight. Slightly muscular and stands at 6'4". - Fire Production: Able to produce and manipulate fire to an extent. The fire he creates is only a few inches tall and is unable to spread on its own. The fire still burns what it's attached to, so he tends to avoid using it on himself. Ezra Bishara; 29; he/him ; bodyguard ; the moon - in actuality--filled with anxiety, constantly concerned he would make others uncomfortable in any away due to his position and stature. kind and caring, a giver, hyper aware of tonal changes and body movements. loyal, does not care about making offenders uneasy--will use his stature and abilities as justice when needed. knows how to be tough and mean. - 6'4", light brown skin, brown/black hair with an undercut and black eyes. well built, attractive--epitome of tall, dark, and handsome. intimidating, even though he tries to avoid that with his personality. - memory manipulation: can see people's memories (what they remember)--but can't stop it. always sees everyone's past. can manipulate these memories to make them better or worse or just different, but every time he does so he forgets some of his own past. the bigger change he does, the more damage is done. Isaac Garcia;23 ; he/him ; dog trainer ; judgement- Chatty, friendly, and loyal are descriptors that all apply. He also has poor self-esteem and fragile, nervous nature. When in defense of others, he can become far fiercer. - 5β10β and built like a runner, lean and lanky. Shoulder-length black hair, brown eyes, and easily tanned light brown skin. Big smiles. - Animal Magic: Unlike common perception, Isaac doesnβt affect the dogs. He can just turn into a dog. He rarely goes this far, but even his doggish smell alone seems to help. His power also creates a bond between him and his trainees. With distance and time away, it dissipates. The problem is with his repeat customers, often boarded with him, whom he continues to accidentally get information through their senses. Usually, there's only smells, but sometimes he hears or sees something he shouldnβt. He tries to ignore this.
fourniers ; Adrien Fournier;31; he/him ; owner ; the empress - still considerate of others despite his position; merciful, loyal, but will seek revenge. of course he is not above violence. like a guard dog. - like his brother, 6'2", thin and professional, reddish brown hair kept well and green eyes. a few freckles on his cheeks, and unlike his brother, he wears black gloves at all times to hide scars from his magic. - electricity magic: can create small to medium amounts of electricity/lightning, but it scars his hands. is otherwise immune to shocks.Garph Devilo; Gar Relph24 ; he/him ; crooked cop ; the emperor - Tough front, but with a relaxed attitude when he's bored. Is very physical and has no sense of other people's boundaries. Lacks a lot of discipline, but still holds family in high regard. - Bulky and athletic. Strawberry blonde hair tends to be buzz cut short so it doesn't start to curl. Storm grey eyes. Tanned skin with a reddish tint. - Twin Chain: Has a pair of sturdy chains that he has wrapped around his arms. When he needs them, he will just summon them out of seemingly nowhere. Good for physical fights, but are basically useless from a distance. Γmilien "Emile" Fournier;31; he/him ; owner ; the chariot - calculated and careful; distrustful, suspicious of others actions. not as merciful as his brother, and is concerned with himself and his faction. not ruthless, but not a saint. - like his brother, 6'2", thin and professional, reddish brown hair kept well and green eyes. a few freckles on his cheeks. - accelerated probability: can see possible outcomes of choices he himself makes; cannot see of anyone else's choices. Samar Aleb; Rapier26 ; she/her ; hitman ; the chariot- Focused and driven, she will stop at nothing to get what she wants. Often comes across stubborn and arrogant. Prefers isolation, secretive and sullen. Prefers to observe than to be seen. - Shoulder length black hair, always pulled back in a severe high ponytail and warm tan skin. One dark brown eye, the other covered by a fashionable black eyepatch with an embroidered gold eye on it. - Telescopic vision: In the right eye she ordinarily keeps covered, has the ability to see over long distances and magnify. Using it for even a short while causes physical pain and migraines. At a stretch can see through other people's eyes but is difficult to maintain and causes her to temporarily lose sight in that eye.Pryderi Eder; The Watcher 67 ; he/him ; accountant ; the hermit - Quiet, watchful, and intelligent. Usually keeps to himself, but always up for a good conversation. Tends to be more of an observer than someone who takes action. - Short, hunched stature at 5'1'' with tan skin. He's a little overweight and bald with a short gray beard, and blue eyes. He's slightly wrinkled and wears over-sized glasses. - Painting the future; during the night of the full moon, he will get a vision from the most likely future. The only times he doesn't have a vision is during a storm or heavy cloud cover. During the vision he will paint what he sees. However the painting never shows faces and they tend to be vague. He forgets what he's seen after a few minutes and never knows when the event will happen. Nocturne Knight; Crimson Reaper 21 ; he/him ; hitman ; strength- Nocturne is dangerous indeed. Truly loyal and ever professional, he never shows his anger in a loud, obvious way. You can only tell he's angry when his eyes are cold as ice, normally in the offender's direction, narrowed. He doesn't show his emotions because he thinks emotions are unnecessary things. He only cares about getting a job done properly, then resting for a bit. - Nocturne has short red hair, styled pretty nicely. His eyes are dark, almost black, and his skin is so light it's like porcelain. These attributes make his red hair stand out more. He is tall at 6'2" in height, normally wearing an all black suit, no color except a crimson tie and crimson gloves. - Reality Reversal; he can reverse things that have already happened, like for example someone is running after him, he can reverse it and they're now running away from him. Someone could be holding a weapon towards him and he can reverse it and he's holding the weapon now. The problem is that some things he can't reverse, like his own death. If he's fast he can reverse life threatening injuries, but there's always the chance he will be too late. But, if someone injures him, he likes to reverse it so that person is injured instead. It's a problematic habit because he can't reverse everything. For example, he can't reverse his own death, so when he's dead it's permanent. Reversing big things takes a lot of energy, so if he, for example, reverses the size of something massive to be tiny, he gets really tired. If he does big things too much he can pass out cold, and he won't wake up for a while. This can put him at risk, since when made unconscious this way, he can't use any magic at all. He can't reverse injuries, so if someone wants to kill him, this is their best chance to do it. He tries to be careful and mind his limits, but there's only so much you can do when your power relies on stamina.Vincent Dalgaard; Viper, Hell Kite28 ; he/him ; poison supplier ; death- Charming, reads people well. Apathetic and pessimistic. He does what he does for money, but he isnβt greedy. Not ambitious either. Unsure about anything besides his own survival. - 6β exactly. Lean but muscular. Short, light brown hair. Narrow hazel eyes. Pale beige skin. He has an angular look to him, all sharp edges. - Venom Magic: Vincent is capable of producing his own mammalian venom. He is immune to it. He can somewhat alter results, but symptoms are generally similar: edema at the wound sight, heightened sensitivity to any other pain for days, hallucinations, loss of consciousness, and increased bleeding at wound. Damage based on dose can range from an allergic reaction to excruciating, incapacitating pain to death. The venom comes from his teeth or nails (claws). Creating it elsewhere is incredibly difficult. The venom takes time and energy to accumulate and he relies on a self-taught ritual system to change the nature of the venom. If itβs lethal like a rattlesnakeβs, it might only take 150mg to kill, but he can create about four grams. This may take a month to be recreated. It seems like a lot, but itβs actually not much and never enough for those who want to buy.
ver tahesh ;
Freyjia "Rey" Capozza; Lady Null 20 ; she/her ; satabam ; temperance - Cool and collective, doesn't tend to jump to conclusions easily. Can come off as uncaring most of the time, but has a softer side to people she knows well. - Thin and short, stands at 5'3". Short, chin length, black hair. Fair skin and icy blue eyes. Often wears a scarf around her neck. - Reflective Mirrors: Able to create two small mirrors that repel most attacks. More physical attacks can be reflected easily, but high caliber weaponry like guns will break right through. The mirrors are only about the size of small dinner plates, so they don't cover much surface area.
Harlow βHarryβ Zima; 26 ; he/him or they/them ; enchanted item seller ; the chariot - Harlow Zima is a chilly, gruff man. Harry is a fiery, talkative person. The fact they coexist isnβt atypical in a city like this one. One must be hidden. Both must listen and watch, carefully. Both unsure about any of this. - Harry would be tall enough, brushing 6β1β, if he werenβt halved in height by the thoroughly-enchanted wheelchair. All bells and whistles there, not as much in his actual body: His connective tissue is less than ideal. Pupils usually of two differing sizes, mostly hidden by brown irises. Rusty-tinged black hair kept short and away from any moving parts. Skin always a dull walnut, rarely darkened by tan. Boxy glasses, comfortable sweaters. He is not imposing. - Enchantment: Harry can enchant most objects he has made to do simple tasks. This he learned by trial and error. Mostly by error. Now his objects are fully capable of sending someone to the grave. Not out of it, but if he ever finds someone can do that, heβll--well, wheel away quickly. He prefers less risky items, but unfortunately as the city is, few ever ask him for quaint things. The problem with his power is not directly seen. Most assume it causes his disability or they're related. Instead he becomes more aware of questionable thoughts, maybe demon whispers, when working on more complicated projects.
Elisabetta βLisaβ Corvi; Dreamwalker 41 ; she/her ; healer ; the tower - Empathetic, caring, thoughtful. She wants control. Ambitious and hides it poorly. Adrenaline seeker. - Short at 4β11β. Petite and willowy, almost fragile. Curly, dark brown hair, going gray and white. Blue eyes. Heart-shaped face. Skin is often fawn-colored from Italian tan. - Mind/Sleep Magic: She is capable of entering the minds of those in dream states, coma, catatonia, and so on (altered mental states). She can influence and coerce people, but has chosen not to try force. Force may be possible at a price. In the βinnerworldβ she is capable of making her own dreamscape or changing one; she could instead use the one sheβs in. Her ability has the odd side effect of helping those with altered mental states, if used properly. There are limits. She has to be physically close to the person if she wants to enter their mind; touching is best. The negative of her power is how it affects her own mind. After use, she deals with problems like night terrors or sleep paralysis. The more she tries to influence someone, the more the connection can cause damage; things in the βinnerworldβ become capable of harming her, though itβs unknown to her how. She just wakes with bruises, cuts, or even bite or claw marks. Sheβs more aware of devil whispers and if she hears them in the βinnerworldβ, even if they were meant for another person, they stand a better chance of influencing her when sheβs awake. She tries to avoid the darker aspects to avoid the bane.
spades ;
Ash Blythe; Sangue 25 ; she/her ; supplier ; the magician - Power hungry and greedy. Affiliated with the Spades because strength lies in numbers. She is no stranger to using violence to get what she wants, and is not afraid of a little pain herself. The greed comes from her desire for money, because one could never have enough of it. - Her hair is originally a dark brown, with the recent addition of blond highlights. The length of it runs ever-so-slightly past her shoulders. Leather jackets and ripped pants are her thing, and no one else's. She will fight them. The spade tattoo is on the back of her left hand. Her main weapon is a ring with a small, sharp protruding outer edge, which is how she's able to activate her magic. - Self Blood Manipulation: She dabbles in blood magic, at the cost of her own blood. She is able to create small, solid objects, such as a makeshift knife, or even form it into a small projectile. The drawback is the amount of blood it requires, and the fact that she could bleed and/or pass out at a moment's notice.
Jeanne Beck; 25 ; she/her ; captain ; temperance - Jeanne is passionate. She has an atypical moral compass, but itβs there. She has learned to fit her role, getting rid of some of the impatience and resentment of her youth. She may be a human shield, but she works hard to be damn good at it. - Jeanne is average in height at 5β6β, but bulky. Her hair is kept pixie short and is fiery red with dye, dishwater blonde without. Sheβs pale and freckled. She has narrow green eyes. Scars litter her body. She has a Spade tattoo on her left ankle. - Regenerative Healing: Her body heals itself, usually just by burning calories. It starts with the most lethal injuries and works its way out. If pushed too far, she begins with burn fat...and then muscle. Head injuries affect her memory. The imperfectness or inability to fully heal all injuries has resulted in burns and scars. Besides this, she has a non-magical high pain tolerance, which helps. Her body reacts to alcohol and drugs by metabolizing them too quickly to enjoy.

Hi there! This rp has such a cool concept that it literally pulled me out of my years long slump of rping on forums to attempt to get back into it again. The next couple of days will be very hectic for me so I wont be on much and even then I cant say much for my availability to rp in the future... but im willing to try and should be freeing up more when on break in 3 weeks! I made a couple characters, but i don't mind making more and i tried to pick abilities and jobs that felt like it would fit in with the world but I'm happy to make any changes if you think it doesn't work! Samar Aleb; Rapier 26 ; she/her ; bounty hunter; the chariot - Focused and driven, she will stop at nothing to get what she wants. At a stretch can see through other people's eyes but is difficult to maintain and causes her to temporarily lose sight in that eye. Mateo Kolar; 24 ; he/him ; apothecarie's apprentice; the fool - A bit naive, constantly trying to prove himself. It is only with pure water, anything combined with it or another kind of liquid negates the ability.

[Thatβs good to hear! And honestly i can see you put a lot of effort that I just went screw it, letβs do it hahah
Oh I forgot about affiliations oops! Samar would be affiliated w the Fourniers and Mateo is unaffiliated at this point but heβs trying very hard to get in somewhere yknow. As for the other factions maybe even having a basis for them would be helpful and then as ppl who pick up leading them can flesh it out how they want?? I would offer to take one but I like I said, idk how much time I can dedicate to this at this point....]

(I'm interested in joining this, though I have a couple of questions 1. Is there a minimum age limit for characters? Like, I'm wondering if someone around 17 is old enough, or if I should age him up a bit 2. What exactly are the limitations for the powers? Like, how powerful would you consider being too powerful?)

(Okay, so I have a power where my character is able to create fire on themself or anything they touch, but the fire is rather small and doesn't spread to other objects. Plus, it will still burn the user and anything it is connected to. Would that be op or is it fine?
Alright, thanks, that's helpful ^^)

oh, sure! i would just say that the bosses of each faction should be owned by the faction owners--or at least, start out that way. there are other higher ups, though ]]
