“Oh Starclan.” Yarrowpaw sighed lightly as he saw Sorrelpatch’s face and pelt. She had stings all over her! He approached her, scolding. “Honey is helpful, but not worth getting stung to death. Here, come with me. Raspberry leaves help treat beestings. I know how to treat them.” He assured. Sorrelpatch felt her pelt grow hot with slight embarrassment. It was true that honey was helpful for the medicine cats, but at the time, the warrior had not even thought about that. "Well, it wasn't so much that it's helpful, it's more that it's delicious." She purred, sitting down with a soft sigh of relief to hear that there was a treatment for the painful stings. "At the time, I thought I could just take a little bit without them noticing... And then I thought that I would get away with just one sting... It didn't quite work out in my favor." “Mousebrain.” Yarrowpaw scolded. His work was gentle though, as he moved to wet some moss, pressing it carefully to her muzzle before he moved to chew a few of the Raspberry leaves, pressing the juice to the stings. He shook his head and mewed. “The sting should soothe in a few moments. Next time, don’t run into a swarming beehive...we usually collect honey when greenleaf is ending and the bees begin to leave.” He reminded.

"Is that how you do it?" She chuckled, "That makes sense. I just couldn't resist that sweet scent... I'm normally better at these things, I swear."

His green eyes flashed with meaning. “If you see any plants out there that have sharp scents, please let me know, and please do not touch or eat them. Some warriors think they know Watermint until they start choking on Hemlock.”

"I know, you don't have to explain it to me," he would have done the same thing if any other cat had fallen into the water. But it hadn't been any other cat, it had been Lilpaw, so he felt as though he was extra thankful "But thank you anyway. Just accept my thanks, stop making it difficult," His words were still spoken kindly despite the slight lash of his tail. But Stormpath's next words caused him to incline his head slightly, glancing towards Appleshine for a moment before his blue eyes returned to the warrior next to him, "Maybe you'll understand better when you become a parent." It was hard to explain to someone who had no kits of their own. "And I never said you weren't capable, you are a good mentor to her. I know that. I wasn't questioning that."

( This is taking place by the Lily Pool, where I believe the patrol is around right now? )
Dill and Melody had left their kits alone to play a while. Well, they weren't quite kits anymore, but the parents would always consider them as such. They always had a habit of wandering off on their own anyway, but they were good enough to return to home base before dark.
"Seeya at sundown!" Dandelion meowed cheerily as she trotted off behind the trees.
Oren followed close beside her, his amber eyes cool and analytical of the area around him. "You shouldn't make so much noise," remarked Oren, waving his tail towards Dandelion's paws. She was stepping all over the dead leaves on the forest floor, making a giant ruckus and likely scaring off any prey nearby. They hadn't set out to hunt or bring back any food, but... Oren narrowed his eyes. He still wanted to sink his claws into a plump squirrel, or pounce on a jay about take off.
Dandelion hummed as if considering Oren's suggestion. She already knew what he wanted; it was just a matter of whether she felt like allowing him to go about catching prey, and Oren knew this. Oren knew that she knew, which made it all the more satisfying when Dandelion decided, "Nah, let's go see the pond today. I wanna catch fish."
"But I'm sick of eating fish."
"Catch some birds while you're by the water then!" Dandelion called as she dashed away.
Oren suppressed a sigh. Could you be any noisier? he thought as she ran off, leaves rustling beneath her paws. He thought he heard some ground-dwelling prey scurrying off too. Great.
As the two of them approached the pool, however, Oren felt forced to hesitate. There was something strange this time, but he didn't quite know what it was....
"Psst, Oren." Dandelion had stopped too and was ducked between tree roots. "Smell that? There are other cats here!"
Oh, so that was it. Oren tilted his head up and gave the air a few whiffs. Indeed, the pre-existing scents by the water were much stronger today. He glanced at Dandelion—while Oren felt insecure about this whole situation, his sister's gaze was bright. Oh dear, what will Melody and Dill think about this? But it was too late to stop now. Dandelion had dashed forward once again.

"Don't worry, I only eat things that smell exceptionally sweet." She joked, licking her lips at the thought of the honey she was able to steal. "Is there anything else you need?"

( Redfleck Yes, Longstar is taking his apprentice to the Lily Pool. x) ) Longstar stopped at the scent of strange cats drifting over downwind toward him and his apprentice, and he lowered himself to hide in the tall grass, his fur standing up along his back. While he was normally quite gentle in appearance, the large tom's eyes narrowed coldly and he hissed quietly to Cedarpaw, "Stay behind me." As he drew silently onward, intent on catching the intruders by surprise.

She mewed, "I would go with you myself, but, ah... I should give myself some rest." She chuckled as she trotted to exit the medicine den, her focus shifting toward seeking out any warriors not currently busy with their own work. "I'll be back with help in a minute!"

It was certainly another cat, and they couldn't be bad. That was her reasoning as she continued on, sniffing the air for more traces of the strangers' presence. Oren, on the other hand, was now struck in a dilemma. Too late to turn back, he also wasn't about to jump out in the open, in front of strange others he didn't know about. Except... Oren gritted his teeth. I can't leave her there either...."Dandy!" the tom cat hissed. "Get back here! We don't know those cats!"Did Oren forget that she could fight if she needed to? And that he could unsheathe his claws when the time required it as well? Dandelion stopped and turned her head. "It's okay, I'll be careful," she reassured, flicking her tail as an invitational gesture. "Come with me if you're worried."

((Ok!!))
Cedarpaw, for once, did just as his mentor told him and remained behind the tom. He watched from where he was for nay danger or what he could see up front from behund Longstar. He knew there was a strange scent there and that was most likely what alerted the leader.

( I would write a bit more for Dandy but I'm about to sleep. Hope this is good enough for now, maybe I'll edit it some tomorrow. )
Watching his sister's receding figure, Oren felt stuck. He already felt stuck, but this was the most stuck.
There was no more time to think; he acted immediately now, deciding in that instant he would not follow Dandelion but he would stalk her from the security of the bushes. As Oren dropped into a crouch, sneaking along by tree roots and ferns, he tracked Dandelion by scent. What his nose couldn't decipher was substituted with his personal understanding of his sister and what she would do.
However, the ginger-spotted tom had focused so much on tracking Dandelion that he almost didn't realize the strangers standing right before him. A small, dark brown pelted tom was also crouched beneath the foliage. Oren suppressed a sharp gasp, attempting to calmly duck into hiding—but his paw slipped out of carelessness and surprise. He winced at the sound, the most deafening rustling of leaves he'd ever heard in his entire life.
Dandelion would likely be more attention-grabbing than Oren, though, as she padded straight into the open.

Longstar heard Oren's slip and narrowed his eyes, understanding that there were two cats there. He could see that Dandelion was a young cat, and clearly less cautious. The brief sight of the other cat that quickly ducked into hiding was likely more shrewd - and perhaps more skilled, the leader guessed. He flicked his tail to signal for Cedarpaw's attention, and then flicked his ears forward to tell his apprentice to stalk Dandelion, while he would focus on perhaps the larger threat. The large golden brown tom did not wait for longer than a few seconds to see if Cedarpaw would follow his orders. He lunged through the tall grass to pin Oren, the black and ginger tom having given away his general location by his noise.

Mothpaw sat on the outskirts of camp, watching the cats around her. She had to do something, she should try to find someone to help her practice her moves. She didn't know which apprentices were in camp, but she could go and check. No, you'll just be a nuisance. She thought bitterly to herself. She scoffed to herself and got to her paws, walking to the nursery. She could see if Whiteblaze needed anything, that's what apprentice's do right? She peaked her inside, noting the Queen was there. "Hello, Whiteblaze! Is there anything I can get you, maybe some bedding or something of the likes?' She tried to sound sure of herself but she wanted to go hide in the apprentice's den.

Whiteblaze looked up to the apprentice, having been watching her kits wrestle and chase each other around the nursery. Despite Hollykit's skinny frame, he was pinning his stocky sister down easily. "Our bedding has been changed and Wildbreeze brought fresh kill earlier. But if you have free time, could you watch Hollykit and Bravekit for a short while? I need to stretch my legs." The scarred she-cat meowed, her fiery yellow eyes betraying her itch to hunt for herself after moons in the nursery.

Cedarpaw watched his mentor before moving off to stalk the she-cat. She was smaller and probably easier to see. Which was probably why Longstar trusted he'd be able to keep up with her.

He lunged through the tall grass to pin Oren, the black and ginger tom having given away his general location by his noise. Oren knew it was coming even before he heard the rustle of the tall grass, but released a sharp, surprised yelp as a larger cat lunged at him. He leapt back, fur bristling, only a whisker away from escaping certain death. Only once Oren regained his composure after that close call did he fully register the golden brown tom looming before him. Fox-dung. He could probably kill me if he wanted to. He swallowed, claws unsheathing automatically. Oren would not allow himself to be afraid for long, however. His own life, and more importantly his sister's, were both on the line here. He fell into a crouch, bracing himself for whatever this older cat had and tail lashing behind him. In a fight like this, Oren thought, a cat cannot be too careful. Going on the offense is only gonna expose my weak spots. So he waited for the other to strike—and from there... who knew if he'd make it out alright? But he had faith in Dandelion, who in all her stupid impulsivity and overtrusting nature, was much smarter and capable than he could ever be. At least she'll be fine.

( Sorry, I somehow missed this so I didn't include Dandy in my response. Here she is now. It's short, but I don't want to assume that Cedarpaw lets her pass. ) The ginger she-cat's ears perked when she heard the startled yelp from her brother. Without another thought, she dashed back into the tall grass.

Cedarpaw sped after her on light feet. Her brighter colors gave her away for the most part. As the tom chased her, he made sure to keep low. His colors were dark and he'd learned to stick to the shade when tracking others. The brown tom stuck near trees and other variously shaded places he could find.
