I'm just super curious, to be quiet honest! And I love hearing about new piercings I haven't heard about previously(I used to want to be a piercer when I grew up, but now good ol' anxiety inhibits that) I have a total of 7. I just recently got my dimples pierced, well worth it!

I don’t have any, and I don’t really care to. The only thing I might do eventually are ear lobe piercings.

I would have pierced my ears honestly, but I haven’t because I’m prone to cysts in my earlobe so I’d rather not get a crazy infection because of it

Just the basic pair of earlobe piercings ^^”
I really want to get another set done though. Maybe in a few months? I’m interested in getting a helix piercing as well, but I heard that they’re supposed to be pretty painful and take quite a while to heal, so I’m not totally committed to the idea.

I used to have my lips (medusa, snakebites), antibrows, smiley, and my lobes pierced twice (and stretched to a zero gauge.
I now have... just my ears, that have gone back to size. I really want to get my snakebites back, though.

I just have my earlobes pierced, but I’m thinking about getting another set and a nose piercing sometime.

Just my ears. I'm considering getting another part of my ears done. Just to get another hole beside the already made one. Idk double piercings on ears always looked cool to me.

Hey, looks don't matter! If you want it, get it! A lot of people don't like my piercings and that never stopped me (:

I currently have both my earlobes, a double helix, and my septum pierced I also had a daith but I had to remove it a few months ago because it was pierced incorrectly hoping to get it redone someday soon, along with a conch and venom bites!

i just have the normal earlobes, but i've always wanted cartilage piercings, medusa bites or spider bites, and an eyebrow piercing. however i also don't want any piercings? taking care of them sucks and it's expensive because the only metals i can wear are gold and titanium (not even silver). idk, i think they're cool but i also think that they're not meant to be for me at least :,,,(

I've always wanted to get a few. Two small helix rings on each ear and two more small rings on my bottom lip. Im a bit broke though, and I can't imagine my parents would be too happy.

It's the same for me what will said about his piercing. What makes it different is, because it's a Mexican and Native American tradition, I got my piercing when I was an infant. As a toddler, I was given gold earrings as gifts and worn them while wearing Disney clothing. Now I don't wear earrings. Sure, they are pretty, but they cramp my style. I don't have a style. I just wear mostly sporty and my workout attire. I rather be comfortable than to look good. The only time I'll wear my earrings is for something important and I have to look somewhat formal for the situation.

I did have my ears pierced when I was 11, but it was expensive to get it done and the extra responsibility I hated. Neither could I take out my earrings for PE. So eventually they just closed up, and my ears now have a lump on each where my ears were pierced.
£40 wasted. And it was a birthday present. I feel even more guilty now

i've always wanted to get my ears pierced but have been discouraged by my mom who had a bad experience and said "the hole will just close anyways" Not that I'm an expert, but it all depends. I know for a lot of people who do have earlobe piercing you do have to work on keeping the hole open. That can be as easy as wearing earrings or cleaning the hole out. I think some barbershops does this as well. That's where I got mine done. I just figured if you want try piercing then go for it. You might get a better experience vs. what happened to your mom.

i've always wanted to get my ears pierced but have been discouraged by my mom who had a bad experience and said "the hole will just close anyways" The first time I got my ears pierced it was a BadExperienceTM, and I eventually let the holes close up. I got them pierced again a few years later and everything went fine ^^ I would say go for it! I don’t wear anything but super simple studs, but it’s still worth it to me ^^ I know that shoppers drug mart does piercings (I got mine done there the second time round) if you wanted an easy place to ask someone who might know a little about the basic dos/donts

Please don’t go to Claire’s, a drug store or any non-piercing/tattoo/body mod oriented place to get piercing information. Chances are they aren’t trained properly in piercing, especially in places like Claire’s. Piercing ‘guns’ are trash also. Always go somewhere that uses a needle to pierce. Health and safety is something you don’t want to mess around with, and those places are so so not good.
You can email or call a piercing/tattoo shop close to you and they can help you with any questions, and are super sweet.
Also, off topic but I just found my piercing book (The Piercing Bible, if anyone is curious.). Some neat placements I forgot existed, lol.

I have just the earlobes done, and I don't even wear earrings anymore. They kept getting infected so I just stopped. They are still there so I still have the option if I want but I don't do it often.

I think the only time I worn cheap earrings was those Christmas trees from drug stores like Rite Aid. I was always worn about getting really cheap earrings, but the five years that I worn them, around Christmas time, I never got an affection from it. My other friends couldn't wear earrings like that though.

Just the standard earlobe piercings. I would get other ear piercings (not a fan of other body piercings on myself) but I hate wearing jewelry when I don’t have to. So having to wear jewelry so the piercing won’t close up seems like self-torture.

My sister got her ear cartilage pierced at Claire’s. I can’t remeber what happened but she was trying to remove the earring to clean it, and it was stuck. She ended up ripping her ear by accident.

Ended up having to remove the stud early because my ear was so swollen and gross. Managed to keep the piercing from closing but it was so painful. Go somewhere else. I haven't had a problem with the earrings themselves (besides losing backs frequently, that's my bad) but they are cheap and flimsy little things. And I'd love to see that piercing book :D

I have 2 piercings in each lobe, the upper ear cartilage of my left ear, and my navel. All of the ear piercings were done at Claire's, but back when they used thicker earrings for the piercings. I had the first set done when I was 9 I think, and I took the studs out too soon because I wanted to look cute for our family vacation that summer and they ended up closing up that week while we were on vacation. I got them redone when I was 11, and left those studs in for seriously probably a year after my first experience. The second set was done when I was 17, then the cartilage when I was 18 the summer before college, then the navel while in college (that was at a tattoo parlor, but they ended up piercing it wrong and I couldn't wear standard navel rings, I had to have a tongue stud bent to the shape since it was longer).
I currently wear captive bead hoops in both earlobe sets (14g) and a similar ring in the upper cartilage (16g). They have colored synthetic opals in them and I never take them out, so it's as low maintenance as it gets. I still wear the bent tongue stud in my navel, though I should've taken it out years ago due to weight gain.
