(Graduation is right around the corner for me! I'm so excited! My life finally seems to have some direction right now. The only thing that is kind of up in that air is my boyfriend's job. He doesn't have one currently but DOT wants to have an interview with him. If he does get it, he might be moving to North Carolina [USA]. SO I might be moving as well. IDK A little nervous about that.
I was thinking that maybe Shadowgaze died? So she's a widow raising their kits and that is why Foxspirit helps out so much?)
Foxspirit
Foxspirit narrowed her eyes at the way that Newtspeck was looking over the camp. She honestly was beginning to dislike the tom without even ever meeting him. She shivered, however, when her gaze snapped to Beetleclaw who was still watching her. She nearly spat at him, but the calico she-cat kept her tongue. Foxspirit turned back to her friend. "I think I'm going to go get Sunflowerpaw. I'll come back in a bit with some prey for you and the kits. Ok?" She said to her friend. After her mate had died, Foxspirit had taken it upon herself to make sure that Cascadefall had someone to help her out. She loved those kits like they were her own. Streamkit, Willowkit, and Fogkit were just the sweetest troublemakers ever. And she loved spending time with them.
Waving her tail goodbye, Foxspirit headed over to the medicine cat's den. She glanced back over at Newtspeck for a moment before turning her attention to the den. "Sunflowerpaw? You here?" She called out to her little sister. As the only kit from her parents' second litter, Sunflowerpaw was sort of spoiled by her. She loved playing with her as a kit and watching her grow up. She was surprised when Sunflowerpaw stated she wanted to be a medicine cat. But she hadn't stop her or tried to change her mind. Her heart had broken when Fallenfeather - the previous medicine cat - had died. Sunflowerpaw had been so devastated and scared. Now, she was probably scared all over again to deal with the NightClan medicine cat.
Reedheart
With a tilt of his head, Reedheart ignored the bitter words. "When my 'chores' are done, it usually means that I can rest inside of the camp. So I do appreciate my time more than you." There was a bit of bite to his words but in the way that someone might reply of a different mindset. Warriors spent most of their time outside of camp. Whenever they were inside, it meant they could spend time with others and rest. He stood up when Maplestar and Fireblaze returned. With a dip of his head towards the three, the tom padded off. He immediately moved over to the nursery where Icefern padded out to greet him.
Maplestar
Mapplestar padded out of her den. She gave Fireblaze a soft touch on the nose before padding over to where Newtspeck and Reedheart. The warrior almost immediately stood up and left to greet his mate. Ears flicking, Maplestar nodded to Newtspeck. "Greetings. Thank you for coming here. We are grateful to you and your clan's help." There was sincerity in the she-cats voice. When she had become leader, she had made a secret promise to herself to never start a fight without being provoked. NightClan had been peaceful with them because of it. It had been DawnClan that she had kept having issues with. Maybe that is why they hadn't helped them. Either way, she was honestly grateful for Newtspeck's help. She sat down and curled her tail over her paws. "I will show you the way around camp in a moment. But first, I will need to let you know that I have assigned a warrior to help you and Sunflowerpaw. This isn't to watch over you but to keep you safe and help you should it arise. If after a bit you feel the warrior isn't needed, just tell me, and they will be relieved. She will also be responsible for helping you around the territory. Sunflowerpaw hasn't really been out yet, so she doesn't know the territory as well. The only place that she knows is that marigold grows on the border between us and DawnClan. However, she hasn't been to that area since Fallenfeather died." There was a sudden bitterness in her voice.
