Hi, everyone! Sorry about the lack of posting. It was a little busy for a while with work. Anyway! Hooray! RuinClan won the vote. As such, the clan will currently be defines as RuinClan! HOWEVER, due to demand, I will be taking names that are NOT clan names. Something else as a name that you think will define us. I will not be accepting tribe names though. These aren't tribe names, they are clan names. If we decide to go with a non-clan name, names will be more open such as the combination of kittypet-warrior names like Harveymoon and Bellaleaf. I will be posting the "landmarks" soon! Hope to see everyone excited for them!

Territory The clan’s territory is an abandoned wildlife park. Once a beautiful place to learn about animals, it was abandoned, the animals moved, and left to rot. Instead, this is now the clan’s home: overgrown and hauntingly beautiful. There is always something going on. The clan’s territory encompasses the fenced in area the was the wildlife property. Everything inside, including the buildings and where the parking lot once was, is theirs. Often, warriors are sent to watch near the broken-down wildlife park sign. From there, they can be easily alerted to intruders since the fence is still standing strong in most areas. The territory is relatively safe except for the occasional two-leg wanderer and rats that are in the abandoned twoleg dens. Occasionally, a dog, fox, or coyote might make there way inside, but they are easily chased out. It is a well-protected and well-loved place.
Landmarks -Gravel Lot – Covered with grass, weeds, and a few saplings, this used to be the parking lot for the wildlife park. While still the easiest way to get towards the camp, this area is very little used due to it being so open. Herb are occasionally found here, and mice sometimes travel through looking for seeds from the weeds or saplings. However, birds of prey also seem to hunt around here. It is dangerous for small apprentices or kits to go to this area alone without a guard. -Savannah Field – This area is where the zebra, gazelle, gemsbok, emu, and East African Crane used to reside. Sun-bleached plastic signs and wooden markers show what kinds of creatures use to be here. The chain-link fence that used to separate the twolegs from the animals is still mostly in place. In a few places, rust has managed to collapse a support pole while in most places, the chain has come unraveled near the bottom, allowing for many creatures to easily move to and from it. It is a mostly open area with very long grass. Near the collapsed wooden dens for the creatures are a few, young trees that provide a little shade. It very much looks like a savannah. -Reptile Den – It is a twoleg den that is mostly caved in near the middle. Empty tanks that used to hold scaly lizards, hissing snakes, croaking frogs, and one beautiful looking tarantula show just slightly what used to be in there. Faded signs covered in dirt and dust remark on the environment of these creatures. It is not a popular place to hunt due to the amount of fallen and still falling debris make it dangerous. Still, it is a good place to learn about creatures and find a few mice. Watch out for rats though! They have been known to try and nest here. -Wooden Ground – For some reason, the ground here is covered in flat, wooden planks. They are even and facing a larger area of raised wooden planks. They form a sort of circle around it. Some of the wooden planks are still partially raised in the air, showing they had all been at some point. It is unknown what exactly happened here, but it is a good place to train! Just watch out for splinters. -Small Twoleg Den – Similar to the reptile den, this area is carefully treated. Most of the roof is gone and rats are often around this area. Metal twoleg machines sit in the open, rusting and sometimes shining light in the eyes of cats. While some herbs and moss can be found here, most cats just occasionally come to explore. It isn’t used often for hunting or anything really. But it is part of the park. -Large Twoleg Den – Just like the Small Twoleg Den, this area is mostly avoided. The roof has completely collapsed and has left behind jagged shards of metals, tiles, and wood. It is very dangerous to be around here. Worse yet, rats are very common here. They are dangerous and don't take too kindly to trespassers. -Monkey Dens – The monkey dens are odd. Some are in a small wooden twoleg den while the rest are outside in cages. One side of the wooden den is completely open, allowing cats to explore the area. It is actually a well-kept area for training and hunting. Many cats enjoy climbing on the branches that are still standing strong. The outside dens are also a popular place to hang out. Often, cats go hunting here and then rest in the shade of the inside twoleg den. -Elks – The elk area is near the Savannah Field and has a lot of tall pine trees everywhere with not a lot of undergrowth. It is one of the best places to hunt and find some more hardy herbs. It is actually a really great place to hunt. It is on the farther side of the territory next to the foxes. -Jaguar – The jaguar area is heavily covered in underbrush. A lot of prey lives in this area due to the thick undergrowth. The wooden den they used to live is still very much standing but almost completely hidden in the undergrowth. Cats can’t often find it due to that reason. However, medicine cats and the leader know the exact location of it. It is in this den that leaders receive their nine lives and medicine cats cat talk to StarClan. The inside walls of the den are said to glow like stars at night. All one needs to do is fall asleep, and they will be able to reach StarClan. -Black Bears – Near the Elk area, this place is very similar. In fact, if it wasn’t for the fallen fence in one area, you wouldn’t even know they were separate. The main difference is the fallen, wooden den that used to hide the bears and the plastic signs near the fences. There is also a large, concrete water area where the bears used to swim. It is also a popular place to hunt. -Foxes – The fox area is very much like a forest. Tall trees and a nice underbrush. However, holes and burrows dot the area from where the foxes dug around. It is a bit hazardous if you don’t know where all the burrows are. It is also a little spooky as well since the area was created for foxes. Although the smell is long gone, it still sets a few on edge to be so close to a possible home of the predator. -Clouded Leopard – This area doesn’t have any trees but has a lot of thick undergrowth. The is a large, concrete pool near the middle where fresh water still flows. There are a few fallen sticks around that the clouded leopard used to climb on. Faded signs show what was there and most of the prey it ate. The fence on one side is completely missing while vines and ivy have started taking over the sides and part of the top of the cage. It is cool and shady most of the time, providing a great place to hunt. -Bobcat – The Bobcat area is very similar to the Elk and Black Bear areas. However, there is a giant dirt mound in the middle and one side of the cage, almost creating a steep slope for the bobcats to have within their cage. The fence is coming unraveled near the bottom allowing cats to easily travers and hunt in this area. It is also a popular place to practice running. -Margay – The margay section is very similar to the clouded leopard section. The main difference is a pebbled stream bed with fresh flowing water that runs through the territory. This is the best place to get water and to cool down since the water trickles through the rocks. It also has thick undergrowth and is a good place to hunt. -Wolves – The wolf area is similar to the fox area but larger. There is less undergrowth and strange paths that zig-zag through the territory thanks to the wolves travel through it. There are still several dips in the ground from the wolves digging and a fallen wooden den for them in the back. Once again, a good hunting ground and a great place to do an assessment. -Camels – This area is still mostly devoid of undergrowth. Sand is mixed in with the dirt and strange, spike cactus grow in a few areas. They are not big and don’t seem to grow that big either. They produce a strange fruit that mice, birds, and squirrels seem to enjoy. This area is mostly a training area for apprentices and a place to practice fighting. -Badgers – The area is often avoided due to the fact that it is covered in twoleg trash and wooden debris. It isn’t a safe place to spend a lot of time since rats like this area as well. It is dangerous and is often avoided. The only reason it is kept is due to the few herbs that grow near the edges. -Tortoises – The tortoise area is very open. It is a dirt area with two small wooden dens, one is collapsed in. A wooden fence surrounded the area which has mostly fallen in. It is a popular place for the medicine cats since they often try to grow herbs here.

Please let me know if you have any other name to list other than RuinClan! If you think another name would suit us better, tell me so I can make a vote again! If you don't tell me or I get nothing, RuinClan is going to be the name.

Looks good! I can't think of any other clan names at the moment, but I'll share if one pops in my head ^^

Thanks! And it doesn't have to be a clan name. Just a name you think fits better. I'm going to work on the layout of the camp after this class. I decided that the aviary would be the camp. It's fully enclosed in chain-link so no fear of hawks or owls grabbing kits.

The landmarks are great. I think everyone will appreciate the detail you put into them C: As for the name, a non __Clan name would be cool, but I can't think of anything that work so RuinClan should be good

Hi, everyone! Sorry about the lack of updates. The end of my time in college is coming to an end. I will be graduating! Yay! And with that comes a lot of paper and such I need to write. So that is currently taking up quite a bit of time. But! I should be able to finish the camp soon! At that point, the next hardest thing is the history of the clan. Anyone have any ideas as to why RuinClan came to be? Maybe a kittypet was left behind? Maybe cats were originally kept there to keep the area free of rodents and they were left behind after the place was abandoned? Let me know! Please make sure that if you have an idea, you post it! I hope to be hearing from y'all soon!

Maybe the clan originally lived somewhere else, and their home was destroyed or they were kicked out? Then they found the abandoned park and decided to settle there? Idk, just an idea.

That's one idea! And a good one! I'm going to propose the idea of them being there before hand and when everyone left, they were too wild and were left behind. Eventually, they formed together (though no one knows why) and formed a clan. The past of where they came has faded away, but the stuff that they teach about the animals has remained.

In an odd burst of inspiration, I've completed everything but the history. I will be waiting, of course, to finish the history before receiving more ideas. I probably will not be posting the camp since I plan to release this soon afterward the history is done. I will probably be releasing the banner I will be making once I've made it later on.
