Welcome to my plot shop!
= Note: The shop is currently closed. =
- Info -
- I'm usually able to post a few replies every few days, depending on how much time I have. I ask for you to reply at least once or twice per week.
- I'm usually able to post a few replies every few days, depending on how much time I have. I ask for you to reply at least once or twice per week.
- I usually write 2-5 paragraphs (each paragraph being 4-6 lines) but may fluctuate depending on what's going on in the RP. I ask for my partners to write at least 5 lines in response each reply.
- I prefer to do PMs but I'm fine with threads.
- I like doing research for a plot, so don't be afraid to bring up obscure time periods or anything like that.
- I'm okay with romance but I'd prefer for it to be later in the plot so we know each other's characters and preferences first.
- I'm alright with playing male/female/NB and can play multiple characters. I just ask that we share an equal load.
- I love chatting OOC whether it be about the plot at hand or something completely unrelated.
- Don't be afraid to speak up! It's the worst feeling in the world to be stuck with a plot you aren't actually interested in. I'd love to hear your ideas for the RP (it's mostly collaboration after all.) I'd also like to know if I didn't give you enough to reply or something's wrong with my writing so I can improve my posts. I will try to be open with you as well.
-I know not everybody can do this and it's okay if you can't but I'd love a partner where we could critique each other's writing so we can improve. Just tell me if you're open to this idea!
- Please add 'Do snails have bones?' somewhere in your reply so I know you've read this. Thanks!
- I usually don't do face claims but I'm totally fine with finding one if you want.

Ilex trudged forward down the path in a the deep forest, an old Chatot on his shoulder. The Chatot mimicked the Swablu that swarmed the route, breaking in and out of increasingly complex tunes. Ilex kept walking, chatting with the bird. "Can you copy a Pikachu?" Ilex said, still looking foward. The Chatot broke into a high-pitched Pikachu cry. "Pikachu! Pikachu!" Ilex nodded, whistling. "Who's a good bird?" He fished an Oran berry slice out of his pocket. "I am! I am!" The Chatot called, flapping his wings. The trainer fed the Chatot the slice, absentmindedly. Usually the most that happened in the woods was a stray trainer battle.
He became more alert when he heard a voice in the distance. Whoever they were, he could tell from the accent that they weren't from Hoenn. He tried to guess from where. Kanto? Maybe. He shrugged. It was easy to tell where he was from, at least to himself. A medium sized island on Hoenn. He still was neutral to the water and he knew he could die happy never seeing the ocean again. Suddenly, his Chatot started flapping it's wings wildly and his eyes widened as the voice became more intense. What was going on? He stroked his Chatot's head. "Shh." The Chatot quieted down instantly.
He began jogging towards the sound, off the path. He skid to a halt when he saw two massive Mightenya's attacking a pokemon and a trainer. He resisted a gasp, mostly to keep his companion pokemon calm. They were attacking a trainer! He crouched behind the cover of a bush, what was going on? He had to think fast. He slipped off his backpack, unzipped it, and took a pokeball out from inside it. Just in case. As much as he wanted to leave, he couldn't. His Chatot peered at him, copying his disposition. He peered out from a corner of the bush, trying to see if anyone was commanding the pokemon.
His hands seemed to go cold. He peered into the red eyes of the Migthyena and he could've sworn his heart stopped beating for a moment. Those weren't normal pokemon. He looked at the trainer controlling the Mightyena's, a plan forming in his head. He spoke in a hushed whisper to his Chatot. "Copy a Gyarados." He murmured, searching for something that the Mightyena's wouldn't even bother fighting. The Chatot faithfully copied him. "Now, a Pelipper." The Chatot copied that, too. "Now, fly away. Under the trees." The Chatot tilted his head at him, but did it anyway. He couldn't but help feeling an unbreakable pride towards his pokemon.
Now, the second part. He just had to do his part right, too. He tried controlling the shakiness in his voice and began speaking. "This is a Hoenn police ranger! A message for reinforcements is already on the way!" He called, gulping. "Return your pokemon to their pokeballs and put your hands up, now!" He admitted it wasn't the best plan, but it was the best he could come up with at the moment. Now, he had to see if it worked.

- Plot ideas -
Feel free to use these in your own plot shops! Just ask me first, please. The lists under the plots are possible ideas.
A. Our characters wake up in an asylum, even though they know they’re sane. They discover an underground part of the facility and realize they’re unwitting test subjects in an experiment. They need to find a way to escape, and soon.
- Possible superpowers, anomalies, etc.
B. Our characters are the first settlers on a new planet. They have to terraform the land and map the dangerous planet’s landscape, while adjusting to the planet’s new characteristics and avoiding dangers.
- Possible alien race
- The planet may be humanity’s last hope
- Future or ‘current’ technology
C. One/both/all of our characters are runaways taking shelter in a small town. At first, they think this town is a safe haven because no one recognizes their faces or names. But as they explore the town, they slowly realize nothing is as it seems.
- Could take a lot of different themes/plot directions
D. Oak academy is the only school in the nation where powered students can learn how to control and hone their powers.
- Students are regularly going missing. Our characters are determined to find out why the disappearances occur and to bring the missing students back.
- One/both/all of our characters are humans without powers.
- One/both/all of our characters are delinquents and soon going to be kicked out if they don’t change their ways.
