UGH that's really upsetting. Bella was the first character I fell in love with from this series, so it's going to be really sad to read through her death. Poor Arrow and Nip and Scramble Was there any details on how she died?

Nooooooo I literally wouldโve been fine with killing any other character, but why Bella?! I just hope sheโs the one who brought down Breeze.

Wow, I'm getting conflicted feelings for Breeze. I like her as a villain, but the stuff she does really frustrates me, too.
I wonder how this scene with Bella will play out(Will it happen off-screen like Whisper's death? Will Storm witness it directly? How exactly does Breeze wear her down with her claws? etc.)

WHAT?! NO! Poor Bella! And what about her pups and Arrow? I feel really sad now.

No... Poor Bella. "Sunshine, Daisy, and Tiny have a conversation about how they'll trap Breeze, and prove she's the bad dog." At least one of Lucky's pups realized that Storm was innocent. Sheesh! Storm is supposed to be your adopted daughter for goodness sake! And you didn't believe her? If you had, there's a chance Bella would still be alive! (No proof on that, but I believe she would've been.) Also, they killed Ruff apparently. I'm more upset about Bella.

She's not the fleshed out and all we've seen from her is racism. Bella's been my favorite since the fourth book of the original series came out. I wonder if Arrow will truly ever fit in, especially now that his mate is gone? He was the only reason he stayed as long as he did in the Wild Pack anyway. At least she'll live on in her pups.

I have to wonder though, what names did Lucky's pups pick for themselves?

I'm glad the Pack realizes that Storm is innocent pretty early on in the book. I feel kinda bad because I don't really remember who Ruff is lol. But I feel even worse for Thorn; she's one of my favorites. And thank goodness Storm finally defeats Breeze. Can't wait to see how that fight will play out.
I thought all the dog packs might somehow come together as one, so I'm happy that happened. Hopefully they can make things work out this time. I will forever be bummed out over Bella, though, especially since it seems like her death didn't need to happen.
Thanks for posting that link with the spoilers.

Remember Storm of Dogs when Lucky had that vision of his pups? Their names were Sky, Earth, Forest, and River.

Bella didnโt deserve that and tbh Iโm kind of pissed she died. Iโd much have preferred Sweet or Lucky die considering they were complicit in Storms exile. Bella had nothing to atone for, nothing to redeem herself for; lucky and sweet accepting Storm,!Arrow, Rough, and Golden into pack doesnโt seem like they (Lucky and Sweet) really redeemed themselves after being so cruel to Storm.
Tbh I really dislike Sweet and would much preferred her to have died saving Nibble and/or protecting Storm or both. THAT would have been an okay redemption. Bella didnโt deserve what she got and I will be forever salty about it.

Lucky took on a responsibility the day he adopted her and it was his job to look after her as her foster parent, especially when Martha died. However, he let his feelings towards his biological pups overpower his knowledge of who Storm was. He failed as a dad. There's no other way around it. I remember when Bella was so happy about being pregnant and it makes me sad that she had to die.

Why did they have to end on that note. #BellaDeservedBetter

I just finished reading it, and it's so darn depressing. And of course it had to happen after she and Lucky were talking about how they wanted to raise their pups together and after she promised her pups she would come back... I'm still crying dangit.

Poor Bella. She was my favorite. I also still find it incredibly ironic that Breeze is a Labrador/Collie mix; those two dogs are famed for their loyalty, but Breeze is anything but unless you count her loyalty to Terror.
As for Lucky and Sweet, I'm actually not mad at them for how they treated Storm. Disappointed yes, but not mad. Considering the circumstances, I don't really blame them, but I don't condone their actions, either.
And it looks like Storm doesn't get a mate, which I am so glad for! I cannot see her with a mate and all and I actually always thought of her as aro/ace.

I cannot see her with a mate and all and I actually always thought of her as aro/ace. I ugly cried because I just finished the book myself only minutes ago. She dies right near the end. I never cried so hard for a book character and I knew it was coming too. "Storm!" she (Bella) barked. "Are you all right? Is Nibble?" Storm felt her own eyes widening. A dark, stocky shape moved behind the distracted Bella. She wanted to bark a warning, but she couldn't--to do that, she would have to drop Nibble-- A tormented, muffled howl escaped her throat. Bella's eyes widened with realization, and she began to spin back toward her enemy-- And Breeze cannoned into her haunches and shoved her hard. For a moment that felt to Storm like forever, Bella seemed to turn in the air, scrabbling with her claws for a safety that was already lost. Then she plummeted to the ground far below. The sound of her body hitting the stone was the ugliest Storm had ever heard: a dull, wet crunch that echoed even over the lashing rain. All the sound around them seemed to fall to utter silence, as if the Sky-Dogs had just...vanished. Then Arrow gave a howl that seemed to break the world.
I find it sad that Storm had a dream about a golden-furred dog plummeting to their death in the beginning of the book, but thought it was going to be Lucky.

(this scene takes place after Storm kills Breeze; chapter 20)
Crouching back on her haunches, Storm tilted her head to the sky and uttered a wailing, drawn-out howl of grief. It was too much to bear; her heart could not hold this much sadness. Bella was dead; Bella, who had taken her in when no other dog would. Bella, who had trusted a Fierce Dog with her pups. Bella, who had helped a confused, unhappy Fierce Dog believe in herself, believe that she truly was a good dog. Because Bella was good. The vengeance she had wreaked on Breeze should have eased Storm's misery, but it seemed at that moment that nothing ever would. Her howl filled the night, and Storm hoped that Bella might even hear it as she ran among the stars in the Forests Beyond.
(this scene made me really happy; it's in chapter 21)
Something at the edge of the pines caught Storm's eye. She half rose and jerked her head around, ears pricked, instantly alert. She sucked in a breath. Dogs! Dogs in the camp! But they were dogs she knew. Her heart thudded, and a chill rippled along her spine. They stood very still, their ears and tails held high, and their eyes glowed with quiet delight. A golden dog who looked just like Lucky stood proudly beside a tiny pup; Storm blinked in startled happiness. Bella...you found Tufty.
(I don't want to give anything else away, but I will make a thread for people who want specific quotes or whatever.)

What was the point of the Golden Deer? I think the Golden Deer was symbolic, a sign that the spirits were still watching over the dogs. It lead Storm to two of Lucky's missing pups, so it has good intent, despite being a troll.
