hello! i'm reese, most people call me ree but feel free to call me whatever you'd like, & i'm searching for one or several rp partners to join me in a plot i've had for a while but never done anything with. i'm looking for partners who can write 2-5 paragraphs a post, and though more is welcome, I won't promise to match it. it's a busy time for me so i don't have the time or energy to sustain something more than that long term and I do want this to be a lasting rp. activity is somewhat important, but I don't ask for daily replies. hopefully there'll be periods where that happens, but once every few days is fine as well. note I'm in the cet timezone, uct+1, so the times I'm on might not match yours. in between posts, i'd love to chat about the characters and the plot and completely unrelated things we feel like talking about. rps always last longer and are far more fun when you get to know your partner. finally, i'll almost certainly be using lgbt+ characters for this plot. i myself am a lesbian. anyone who responds to this will have to be comfortable with this, even if they themselves choose not to use any lgbt characters.
now, with that out of the way, the fun stuff! because this plot will play out very differently depending on the combination of characters, i'm open to duplicating it a few times. if more than one person is interested, we can either do a small group, since there will be more than 2 mains, or several 1x1s depending on what all parties feel like. if we do decide to do a small group, i don't want it to get any bigger than four people, myself included. i've found that larger groups are more difficult for me to keep up with, and so i avoid them. i do have some background to this plot, but if you decide to claim the plot, it's up to you whether you want to hear the history i had planned originally or brainstorm something new or completely wing it. let me know c:

• the end of the world as we know it : roadtrip, (urban) fantasy, 4-6 roles
A group of friends are about to be separated. Whether some of them are graduating high school or college or some are moving away, they know that after the summer things will change. So, they decide to make the most of the time they've got. What better way to enjoy the summer than with a roadtrip? They pack into a car a little too small and set out, hoping to make what could be their last summer together a great one. But things never go to plan, and this is no exception.
After the group gains possession of a pendant [ or any other item tbh. just how this happens depends on the characters. ideas include theft, pettiness, and drunken bar fights ] things start going awry. They start displaying abilities that should be impossible. Maybe one starts levitating in their sleep and wakes up hovering two feet into the air. Maybe one accidentally sets fire to their lunch. Maybe yet another goes to shower and finds they're not getting wet. One by one, they find something they could never do before. They start seeing the same people over and over again, they feel watched. And when they arrive at the first monument they'd planned on seeing, they find a door carved into a wall that appears to invisible to all but the members of their little party. Beyond it, they find a tomb, and more questions than answers.
