(A little short I think, sorry!)
Lexi knew Captain Ellis had no admiration for her work ethic, but she also knew that the man had no intention of firing her despite everything. Mainly because he liked her, but also because she was sometimes good at her job. When she tried, at least. She thought the two of them were incredibly different but also similar. Tenacious leaders, though in very different ways.
“No, just me saving everyone as I always do and preventing the self-destruction of my entire social group. That’s hardly news, hon, I do it every day,” the woman responded.
She was perhaps the most socially gifted of those in the precinct, which was what lended her the powers of manipulation she possessed. So she was used to navigating complicated social conflicts like those that often plagued the friendships of her (very dramatic) friends.
It was stressful sometimes keeping her friends from arguing but she never let stressful things get to her. She was surprisingly resilient, refusing to ever give up because she saw it as tantamount to failure.
“Anything you should be informed of? Well, obviously today seems busier than usual,” the woman pointed out “but there is nothing important happening today. All here in the bullpen is going swimmingly. Mt. Ruiz has not yet erupted, in fact she seems calmer than normal, if anything. So all in all, nothing to report.”

Always some drama or other, he would prefer if his staff could keep their social life separate from work, but with Lexi he didn't foresee that being a possibility. He kept his own life incredibly private, usually people discussed their romantic partners or children or family in general. He didn't see the point in sharing, the information would not make his staff work any harder, in fact he had found that such conversations were far more commonly a distraction. Choosing not to engage in conversation on the status of her social group and with no further pertinent information that required his attention he knew he should really return to the stack of paperwork that justified the moving of his meetings. Life as the Captain of a precinct had certainly been an adjustment, it hadn't been long ago that he had been doing what the detectives around were doing now. He had specialised in homicides, seen a lot of dark things, but had been good, very good, at finding the bad guy. It was why he had been given a Captain position at what the force deemed a 'young' age. He didn't feel young anymore, seeing that much death would do that. "Thank you Lexi." He said, having lost interest in the conversation, the shadow of thought falling across his features. "Get some work done." He said as he moved back to his office. A pointless order that would almost certainly fall on deaf ears. Sitting back at his desk, the door to the office closed behind him, he exhaled setting his mug down and picking up the next sheaf of paperwork.

(Ooh fun. I was thinking of a genderbend for Peralta but I’ll stick with male because I have two females already.
In fact I think I’m just gonna make a form for Peralta but not add him as claimed to the front page until tomorrow. Then we can still use him for now but if someone else wants Peralta they can have him.)

Name: Theodore ‘Theo’ Danton Age: 28 Gender: Male Television Counterpart: Jake Peralta Appearance: Theo’s height and build are fairly nondescript; he is average height with an average build. He is lean but not extremely muscular. He has tan skin. He has a mischievous face with friendly brown eyes. His warm brown hair is generally kept at a maintained length as if it grows much longer than Theo generally keeps it, it tends to start to curl and he has neither the time nor desire to manage his unkempt curly hair. He has some short facial hair, nothing that could constitute a beard. Personality: Theo is childish, a little selfish, and very stubborn. His lack of responsibility is something not admired by either his colleagues or his captain. He can be rash and gets very overexcited sometimes, but he is sweet and cares a lot for his friends. He’s like a puppy in a lot of ways. He loves his friends and will do anything to help them if he can. He is highly competitive and loves to organise little competitions with his friends. He has a good sense of humour and puts a lot of his intelligence into making jokes and playing the class clown, though this is usually to hide his emotions or problems he himself is having. However, he is actually an excellent detective. He never gives up on a case and is very intelligent and perceptive, when he actually uses his intelligence for a good cause. His childish and stubborn nature often brings him into conflict with authority, though he never usually cares. He is a fun and approachable person, very lovable and mischievous for all of his faults Screenname: ƤαƖƖαѕ ✧ Other: His father left Theo and his mother when Theo was about twelve years old.

(I kind of left it so that either of your characters could go talk to him, didn’t want to force it on you. Okay, so I’m gonna think up some plot ideas. Any thoughts? I can incorporate your ideas too)
Theo Danton casually strolled into the bullpen, clearly not caring that he was late for work. He was always late for work every morning, and every morning he got told off by Captain Ellis. But Theo didn’t care. Why should he have to listen to the captain? Theo still led the precinct in arrest numbers, even if he messed up his paperwork or came to work late or didn’t wear a tie.
He nodded a greeting to Lexi, who was actually doing some work for once, though it did look as if she had been making paper airplanes out of important documents a few minutes ago. He nodded the same greeting to Val, who gave him a nod in return. The two of them understood one another; they based their friendship on not telling the other anything about their personal lives. It was probably not a healthy relationship, but since when did friendships need intimacy when you could have drinking in an uncomfortable silence?
He passed Sergeant Morgan’s desk, giving the woman a smile as he passed. She and Captain Ellis were kind of like parents to Theo, though he would never admit it. Especially not to Captain Ellis. He didn’t think the captain saw Theodore’s potential because he was too hung up on the little flaws Theo had rather than his skills. This probably was not true; the captain was impartial and was undoubtedly aware of Theo’s flaws and his skills. But still, he felt that way.
Theo took a seat at his desk, booting up his computer and opening up a new case file. It looked pretty boring, it was just an open-and-shut case. He could probably cover that case in just that day if he was careful.
Besides, the sooner he got that case done, the sooner he could get onto a murder case or something more exciting. He wasn’t endorsing murder, it was just that he got bored of the normal cases so quickly. He needed something fun to do.
