- I may fall asleep at any moment so just a heads up~ Also I probably won’t be on too much tomorrow since I’m visiting a friend that lives a couple hours away and I don’t want to seem like I’m ignoring her half the day if I’m typing away on here xD I’ll probably be back sometime tomorrow night -
It seemed Annabelle’s face was just going to stay red from blushing so much, she just had to accept it. Maybe I just look like I’m suffocating, who knows. She froze when she felt his touch, it took her by surprise although she wasn’t entirely sure why. “A Shadowhunter with bad aim? What is the world coming to?” Deciding to just brush it off she instead tried to focus on calming her heart that threatened to beat out of her chest. Her heart pounded every time she was embarrassed, excited, scared, nervous, stressed, you name it. Annabelle didn’t know why it was beating so fast this time but she figured she was about as red as a tomato as this point, she only hoped it seemed like she was trying to catch her breath from laughing so much. Up until now she was still laying curled up on her side facing him, but deciding she needed to breathe in a little more oxygen she propped herself up on her elbow with her head resting on her hand like she had done before.

Sebastian simply nodded as if to say thank you, remembering the few times mundanes had gotten close but then just turned around and walked away. Years ago a warlock put a spell on the Institute to turn them back around if anyone got too close, a sort of safety measure for those the glamour didn't have much of an affect on. "I just wonder how mundanes go on living their life so... repetitive? I guess that's a good way to say it. No offense, but mundanes are just so boring. You're actually quite interesting compared to some of the others I've met." "Probably because I have the Sight," Aurora said with a shrug. "I lived a normal life when I was little. Everybody passed off what I saw as imagination. I think that my parents tried to put me on medications at one point. I could never understand how my parents could just go to work everyday, and never seemed to see or interact with the same things I saw." She shrugged again. "I guess that without the Shadow world, repetition is all that's possible, mostly. Going through the motions..."

Jason laughed slightly. “Well, in my defense you did move. So therefore it’s your fault.” He stated triumphly, since he believed that he won their friendly little argument. “Anyways, that was a faster way to clean the bed, instead of smearing it on each other’s faces, we could just eat it.” Jason noticed that Annabelle’s face was beat red. ’Probably because she’s laughing a lot, though it almost looks like she could be blushing a little...’ Jason thought to himself, but brushed the thought away, deciding that she had no reason to be blushing. Jason looked down at the mess on the bed, surprised that there was no icing left, just a small stain on the bed. They were having so much fun that they weren’t really paying attention to anything else, just themselves. Jason reached into his pocket and pulled out his Stele. He held it over the stain and drew a rune in the air. When he was done, the stain on the bed slowly vanished until it was completely gone. He then slide the item back in his pocket, and turned back to look at Annabelle. “That wasn’t too hard.” He said, smiling at the girl as they laid on her bed. “So, what do you want to do, now that the cupcakes are all ate, and the mess is cleaned up?” He asked her, not wanting to leave her company just yet. He couldn’t describe what or how he was feeling right now, but he was definitely starting to catch feelings for the girl in front of him.

(Sure, I'm up for it! Let me drop in a starter for Sage.)
Sage slipped quietly through the door of his ground-level apartment, the door clicking shut behind him. He fished a single house key out of his pocket and locked the door, sighing softly. He hated having to work at night, but it was one of the only ways he could earn money with his... questionable background. The last rays of the sun were quickly disappearing behind the horizon, the sillhouette of Seattle's famous Space Needle the only distinguishable feature he could make out from here. Slipping the keys back into his pocket, he started to shuffle down the sidewalk, running a hand through his dark hair as he did. He'd need to clean it up a bit before he could face his boss, but, well, the warehouse workers weren't known for their personal hygiene of excellent self-grooming, so there was an extent to which he could get away with it. He shoved his hands into the pockets of his jeans, tucked into thick steel-toed boots, and cast a cursory glance around the street. There were some people around, heading home from their own jobs now that his was barely beginning, but they didn't cast him a second glance.

He shoved his hands into the pockets of his jeans, tucked into thick steel-toed boots, and cast a cursory glance around the street. There were some people around, heading home from their own jobs now that his was barely beginning, but they didn't cast him a second glance. Marshall yawned as he woke from his bed which may or may not have been like a coffin having a top that closes to keep any light from hitting him. He had trained his body to wake when the last rays of light faded. He opened the lid with a grunt. Sometimes he was not the kind of person or vampire as he isn't entirely human anymore or at all. Having gotten over the vertigo of waking up he sighed. Maybe he should just die...tempting. Anyway as he moved the blackout curtains of his apartment he smiled at the moonlight hitting his skin. He needed blood and tonight he was gonna feast. Soon he was locking the door of his apartment before going down the elevator to the bottom floor and outside. He easily lured a woman into an alley before biting her and piercing the vein. As the rush of blood entered his mouth he had to force himself to let go which in itself was a challenge. He soon walked out of the alley alone and walking on the streets. He passed Sage without a second glance, he didn't like the male so why say hello? Just because he looked good didn't mean he was a person he wanted to be nice with.

Sage's dark eyes followed Marshall as he passed, and he paused in his walking for a moment. "Not even stopping to say hello? How characteristically rude of you," he called over his shoulder, turning partways to watch the other man. His voice practically dripped with sarcasm and contempt, a single eyebrow raised in an almost coy request for an answer. Normally he wouldn't be so crass or provocative with another person, but this vampire in particular had a way of bringing out the sharper, less friendly side of him. "You know, you could at least spare a glance when you pass by a friend on the street." He spoke the word friend with as much poison as he could muster, practically spitting it in Marshall's face. The vampire's anger got the better of him as he spun he glared at the werewolf. "I have no time for worthless mutts. Especially ones who get on my nerves like you. Why do I even deal with living near you? Maybe I should move." The male said with venom behind every word. Sometimes he wondered why he hated the werewolf, nothing really happened between them that fueled the hate. He guessed it was just expected or maybe something else? "And friend is not the word I would put us as. Now what is it you needed so much to stop me from getting something to eat? You know how people like me get when we don't eat enough." The male growled slightly at the werewolf.

Sage simply smirked at the insults, unphased; anything Marshall had said to him, he'd heard a dozen times before, and the annoyed look on the vampire's face was quite amusing to the wolf. "Is that a threat? My, how bold of you. If you want to fight me, all you have to do is ask." Looking Marshall up and down, though, he doubted the vampire could do much against his lycanthropic speed and strength, even with enhanced skills of his own. "Threatening to move won't do you any good, anyway. You may not be a fledgeling anymore, but the Praetor Lupis is always keeping tabs on the local vamps. We don't want any accidents happening, after all. I just want to make sure you remember your boundaries." He narrowed his eyes a bit at this, almost challenging. "We keep each other in check, that's how it's always been. I know you need to eat or whatever, just... be discreet. I don't want trouble with the Clave, and I can't imagine you do, either."

"A threat is saying I will kill you. No no. If I was to do anything it would be to make you suffer. A pretty face like yours all bloody and bruised would put a smile upon my undead face." He only said undead because the two were alone on the streets. If there were people he would watch his words better. "Like I care what Praetor Lupis or the Clave do. And if anyone needs kept in check it's you. I am one-hundred and twenty-five years old Sage. I'm pretty sure I know how to blend in and be discreet. Like right now I'm keeping myself from ripping out your throat no matter how much I wish to." Maybe that was a little much. He didn't really want to rip the wolf's throat out but maybe he did want to throw him off the Space Needle. "Was that all you wished to tell me Sage? Or is there more?" The vampire was getting annoyed by being stopped and talked to like he was still a fledgling. But, maybe he was kinda hoping there was more, maybe he wanted to attempt fix the broken line but he also knew it wasn't possible. If anything he should be breaking it more.

(Heyo! I'm new to the thread but I have 2 other characters open, a vampire named Madeleine and a shadowhunter nammed Sienna if you want to rp!)
Sage simply waved him off. "Do what you want, but don't come crying to me for help when the Clave comes knocking on your door," he replied flippantly, running a hand through his hair. "As a matter of fact, forget what I said earlier about not moving, maybe you'd be better off out of my hair." He sounded bitter as he spoke, eyes narrowed and a frown on his face, contrary to his earlier serious but cocky approach. He turned on his heels, putting his back to Marshall.

(Sure)
Teagan makes her way into the cafe and inhales the warm scents. She licked her lips and makes her way to the register. This was one of her favorite places to stop during her break. The cafe was pretty mundane, but she didn't mind it. Occasionally, she would see a Warlock or two working the register or cleaning about. She waited as a few mundanes placed her order.

Sienna sat at a two-person table close to the counter of the cafe, sipping coffee from one of the cafe's paper cups and perusing a newspaper with a bored expression on her face. Occassionally she would look up and observe the people waiting in line, more curious about them than anything else, but would inevitably go back to whatever the mundanes considered newsworthy after a few minutes though. She sighed softly, taking another sip of the warm caffeinated drink, and lifted her blue-eyed gaze to the coffee counter. There was a warlock girl working a barista, and nothing new appeared to be going on, but as her eyes wandered down the line of mundanes waiting to put in their order, her gaze lingered on Teagan. She frowned slightly; something about the girl piqued her interest. Realizing how silly her thoughts were, she gave her head a little shake and returned to her magazine, setting the coffee in front of her. She reached behind her and pulled her long black braid over her shoulder, fiddling restlessly with its end as she read, not really processing what she was reading.

Teagan smiled as she approached the register. "Hey, Mira how are things with you." She asked smiling kindly at her friend. Mira smiled and gives a wave of her hand. "Oh you know same old same old. I take it you want your usual order?" Teagan nodded her head. "You know me so well. Yes, I'll take that and a smoothie please!" She said before pulling out her card. "Oh, mind adding a bit of magic too?"

(Okay)
Sienna glanced up again as Teagan spoke to the barista, catching the girl's request that Mira add a bit of magic to her order. Magic, huh? A coincidence, or intentional? Watching the way Teagan and Mira interacted, however, it was clear that they were familiar with each other. Perhaps she was another Downworlder, like the warlock was? Warlocks were easy enough to identify if you could find their Marks, and vampires had that thin, sallowy appearance to them. They were easy to identify. The Fae were rarer, and therefore harder to pick apart from the general population, but given a handful of seconds it was clear to see that this girl didn't carry any Faerie charm with her. That only left one option: werewolf. It would be impossible to tell, even with the Sight, if a person was a werewolf or not, unless they willingly told you or changed in front of your eyes. Well, the other option was the punch them to see how durable they were, but that wasn't a very... polite method. Curious as she was, though, Sienna wasn't interested in causing trouble with a girl who may or may not be a Downworlder. She had no business poking her nose into such things unless she caused trouble first, but she seemed to just be picking up a morning drink, same as herself and all the other Mundanes in the shop.

Teagan pays for her meal before moving to the little pick up area. As she waited, she scanned the crowd and her gaze stops at Sienna. She blinked before looking away. The runes on her skin spent only one thing Shadowhunter. Now, she didn't mind shadowhunters unless they threatened her pack. She made sure to stay as far away from them as possible.

Sienna pretended not to notice the obviously distasteful look the girl gave her, drumming her fingers on the table almost uncomfortably. The Cold Peace had remained in place for quite a while, but there were still plenty of tensions between Nephilim and the Downworlders, deep-seated grudges that she didn't have any clue about. If she truly was a wolf, as she'd deduced, then there was really nothing for her to worry about. Still, her fingers twitched almost instinctively in the direction of her silver blade, an invisibility rune the only thing allowing her to carry it on her person and out in the open like this. It was a horrible habit to have. Sighing, she decided to just bite the bullet and stood up, her chair screeching rather noisily on the ground. None of the Mundanes in line seemed to notice, though, the general noise of the cafe drowning her out somewhat. She picked up her coffee cup and made her way to the counter, reaching out to grab a little cream cup from a box near the pickup line. She didn't make eye contact with Teagan, but she did comment, "Did you notice my runes?" Her arms were covered in runes, some new and some faint from time, and she wasn't scared about showing them off in her sleeveless black leather top. She opened the cream and dumped its contents into the cup.
