_______________________________
Settled deep in a large, crooked forest lies a great, ancient elm tree and the cats that have settled among its old and twisted trunk. Many have laid their claim upon the land, but no so strong as the cunning and quick footed cats of Elmclan. Yet no clan is free of secrets and prophecies. Perhaps you will be the one to figure them out. _______________________________
Territory
Elmclan is situated in the middle of a large forest, surrounded by tall trees and thick underbrush. It's filled with a variety of prey and predators both. Cats of Elmclan are experts at traversing through the thick brambles and ferns that cover the forest floor and the low hanging branches of trees.
The Stream The stream is a small, slow moving stream that flows just north of camp. It's arguably the best place in the territory to catch prey, especially in the spring and summer months. A variety of mice, shrews and voles flock to the area for water, and at times even small fish can be found swimming in it. However, there is a tendency for snakes to make their home around it too. Still, the benefits far outweigh the costs.
The Bramble Thicket The bramble thicket is a dense mess of brambles to the south of the camp, just before the training field. It's cover makes it a decent prey spot, but the brambles themselves make it rather difficult to catch anything without getting a few scrapes. The go to hunting spot in winter however, do to desperation and it's abundance of hibernating animals.
The Moors To east, beyond the edge of the forest lie the moors. Nothing grows here besides some thick grasslands. Apprentices are not allowed on the Moors without their Mentor, as it a dangerous area, plagued by feral dogs and aerial predators.
The Training Field Just beyond the bramble thicket is a small, shady clearing. This is where mentors take their apprentices to train. A bed of soft ferns covers the area, making it ideal for fight training
The Camp
Camp is situated just beyond the stream, in a small grove in the middle of the forest. It's surrounded by a thick layer of brambles, making it difficult for non clan cats to attack and enter
The Entrance The entrance to camp is a set of hollowed out brambles, similar to most of the dens. Thick ferns cover the actual entrance, and moss and various leaves have been placed to lessen the brambles irritating qualities.
The Elm The elm is a large, gnarled old tree in the center of camp that gives the clan it's name. It's trunk is thick and hollow, it's branches hang low and twist in unusual way. From the lowest branch, the Leader makes their announcements to the clan, and the leader's den itself is in the hollowed out middle of the tree.
The Warriors Den. A large area of hollowed out brambles closest to the entrance. Nests of moss and soft ferns line the den, and it's able to fit 20 warriors very comfortably, with room to grow if needed.
The Apprentice Den A smaller version of the Warriors Den, the Apprentice Den is on the other side of the entrance, as if standing guard with the Warriors. It's able to hold 15 apprentices comfortably, with room to grow if needed.
The Medicine Den Located towards the back of camp, under a gnarled old tree root and a set of stones, the medicine den is spacious and cool, perfect for keeping herbs and things fresh. It's large enough to house the medicine cat, their apprentice, and three sick cats if needed.
The Elder's Den The Elder's den is an old hollowed out log, filled with soft moss and fern leaves as well as various other soft material to help ease the joints of older warriors. Located across from the Warrior's den.
The Nursery. The Nursery is a spacious burrow under the roots of an older tree, next to the Medicine Den. It's warm and protected, perfect for nursing queens and their kits.

Cats
Leader
Quickstar||She-cat|| 72 Moons || Five lives left. || yikes Quickstar is a slender silver mackerel tabby. Her fur is slightly long and silky in texture. Her ears are pointed, and soft tufts of fur frame her face. Her eyes are a soft, pale green color and lighter flecks dancing around. Her nose is pink, and she has a single white sock on her left front foot. Quickstar has always been a calm and level headed cat, though at times she comes off as cold. She has a certain elegance about her that is hard to place. She's kind to the cats of her clans, but a stern teacher and a resolute leader. She'll do anything to protect her clan and has sacrificed most of her lives to protect it.
Deputy To be chosen by me
Medicine Cat
coalfur || male || 38 moons || partlycloudy
Coalfur is a pitch black tom with a sleek pelt and slender build. He lacks a tail, but makes it up with his large ears. Coalfur is also half-blind; he was born without an eye (his only one is yellow). Originally he was training to become a warrior, but ultimately decided to train as the medicine cat apprentice. He doesn't miss his previous training and is glad he made his decision. Coalfur is a tranquil feline and prefers solitude over multitude. He enjoys the peace and quiet of his work and couldn't imagine not having a den to himself. You could say he is a little self-centered, but that doesn't show in his work. Coalfur is incredibly diligent and has become an excellent healer. He also enjoys long walks around the territory and watching sunrises and sunsets. || open to family || N/A, not open for relationships || dancat
Medicine Cat Apprentice { 2 }
Warriors
Bramblepelt|| Tom || 24 moons || yikes Bramblebelt is a large orange tom with short, thick fur. He's lightly colored, being more cream than shockingly ginger and has light orange stripes accompanying him. His face is round and pleasant, and his eyes are a bright amber color. He's considered to be a rather big and intimidating cat, however Bramblebelt is probably one of the most easy going cats of the clans. He's friendly and mostly softspoken, easy to get along with and pleasant to be around. In fights however, he can be shockingly aggressive, eager to protect his clan and his friends. || Sister is Swiftfur. Distantly related to Hollyflower
Swiftfur|| She Cat || 24 moons || yikes Swiftfur is a petite tortoiseshell cat with short but thick fur. Spots of dark and pale orange mottle her fur like a mosaic of color. Her eyes are a soft green, and she has a single white toe on her front right paw. Most of her face is splashed with the same orange that covers her body, save for the areas around her eyes, which are a dark black. Swiftfur has always been rather temperamental and difficult to be friend, however she is an excellent mentor when everything comes down to it. || Brother is Bramblepelt. Distantly related to Hollyflower.
Hollyflower || She-cat || 48 moons || 𝓦𝓪𝓿𝓮𝓼
Hollyflower is a quite lanky she-cat, with white streaks running down her neck and smooth, soft, ginger fur and a wide fluffy face. Hollyflower has a noticeable nick in her ear from a battle with another clan a few seasons ago. Her legs are long, preferably sturdy and strong. A long tail with a white tip grows at the end. She has a bulky build, and two very strange tan eyes. She was born a kittypet, but ran away at 5 moons. Everyone teased her because of her eyes. Hollyflower's eyes are light brown, and on her right eye is a splash of darker brown in the right top corner of her eye. Hollyflower is usually quiet, as she is reserved and keeps to herself. She is very efficient and tries to help out as much as she can, whether it's watching the kits, or joining a fierce battle with her trusted clanmates. Hollyflower also tries to be brave and admirable, always putting herself forward to save someone or do something dangerous. || Distant relative of Swiftfur and Bramblepelt
heatherspots || male || 25 moons || partlycloudy
Heatherspots is a white tome with pale tabby splotches covering his pelt, hence his name's prefix. He is what you would consider willowy in a cat, being slim and tall in stature. Despite his thin frame, his fur is on the thick side and provides insulation in cold weather. His eyes are a pale, leafy green that are often bright with amusement. This tom is a comical one, often cracking jokes and poking fun at his clanmates. He's very happy-go-lucky and doesn't seem to let anything phase him. Below this cheery demeanor is an insecure one, afraid to let others in and afraid to let his past come out. Heatherspots isn't clan-born and no one knows where he came from and why he showed up in the first place. Who knows if he'll ever open up and tell someone about it?
sorrelwhisker || female || 20 moons || partlycloudy
A pretty Birman molly, Sorrelwhisker has a pale coat and sky blue eyes. She was given the prefix "whisker" due to her unusually long whiskers, if you hadn't guessed already. A fairly-new warrior, Sorrelwhisker is as lively as any apprentice. She loves being active- especially anything that has to do with running. Despite her smaller build, she is quite swift on her paws and could outrun a multitude of cats larger than she. Though she may seem sweet, this spirited feline has a sharp whit and tongue. She's quite tactful in her ways and isn't afraid to speak her opinion. Sorrelwhisker was clan-born to a seemingly-perfect family. Everything was fine until her mother, Deerspring, suddenly snap and went crazy. She tried killing her own kits but their father, Owlnose, inevitably stopped her and she was driven out of the camp. A patrol chased her onto the nearby Thunderpath, where a sudden monster struck and killed her. Sorrelwhisker's father blamed himself and left the clan to never return. Sorrelstripe's sister, Wheatpaw, left with him. Even though it's a very sad story, Sorrelwhisker doesn't let her past get her down. || Deerspring was her mother, Owlnose (NPC) is her father. Her sister is Wheatpaw (NPC). || Sorrelwhisker has had a crush on Bramblebelt ever since she was a kit.
Grimvale || tom || 31 moons || Warrior (possibly deputy?) ||Jekyll
Grimvale has certainly been through a lot in his life. He is a thin but strong tom, being stronger than what his appearance would suggest. he use to be quite handsome, with healthy fur and features. His fur is short and pure black with no markings whatsoever. His body is now riddled with scars from fights, the main one being when he saved Fidgetpaw after finding him abandoned as a kit and bringing him to the clan. He only has one working eye now, his left, which is a light amber hue. His right eye is injured, a pink membrane off skin over it and constantly leaking clear fluid, the eye is basically unusable, and his eyelids were ripped off from the attack. He was born into the clan as an only kit, his parents were Fluryfoot, his mother, and Viperstrike, his father. Flurryfoot died early n and Viperstrike abandoned the clan to become a kittypet shortly after her death. Grimvale stayed behind and grew to be a fine warrior, constantly trying to fix his father's mistake of leaving and heal his family honor. When he was a warrior the tom went out to hunt by himself and came across Fidgetpaw, who at the tie was 3 moons old and named Rick. He had been abandoned in the forest. On his way back to camp with the kit, he ran into a badger and in an attempt to shield the kit from an attack, was struck himself but managed to fight back util another patrol that was passing by heard and came to help. Once they arrived the tom collapsed and when he woke up, was in hos current state of half blindness and constant pain. Despite his new form and difficulties, Grimvale adapted quickly and adopted Fidgetpaw as his own, teaching him what he could until the kit became an apprentice himself. Grimvale now spends all his time trying to do his best and show he's still a good warriors and able to provide for the clan. Because of his lack of an eyelid and constant threat of infection, Grimvale has to be treated with herbs every morning to keep his eye in check and is prone to pains.
Lakeheart || Tom || 16 moons || Warrior ||𝓦𝓪𝓿𝓮𝓼
Lakeheart is a short tom with stubby legs and long whiskers. He only has a stump for a tail, but he doesn't mind. A few black speckles appear on his tail and on his narrow face, looking like freckles. He is smarter than you think, even with his stumpy legs and ordinary appearance. A faint white ring appears on his muzzle like a rope, and it' usually unnoticeable in the dark or shadow. At sunset, he seems to glow, but his clanmates got used to it a while ago. Scars run along his muzzle from a skirmish with a fox that he doesn't want to talk about. Lakeheart is very loud and noisy, and everyone tells him to stop yelling laughing so loudly. He is also very straight-forward, bounding right into things without thinking about it first. A good thing about him is that he is athletic because he likes to run throughout Elmclan territory and playing with the kits. He is also cheerful, looking to the bright side for the better. Lakeheart is clanborn. When he was a kit, he was very competitive and clever, figuring out where his denmates were in only a few heartbeats. He was very bright, and he still is, but when his father died in a battle over territory, Lakeheart was isolated, lonely, angry, and quiet. His mother didn't know what to do, until the medicine cat told him that if he gave up on life now, his father would be very disappointed. Then, gradually, he became happier and more lively. As an apprentice, Lakepaw was brilliant and hard-working, and that worked him into battle. It was a furious one, raging. A big warrior had slashed him in the face, knocking him out. He had gotten his first permanent scar that day. Because of his bravery, he was made a warrior, and because he was already coming of age.|| Stormsky + Dawnglow (I'll get her description up later) = Lakeheart and two unnamed kits || None|| Dancat

Apprentices
lavenderpaw || female || 10 moons || partlycloudy
This apprentice is a short, pale gray La Perm molly. Her breed gives her an almost sheep-like appearance since it's so soft and curly. Her muzzle and ears are darker in color than the rest of her body, while her belly and tail is the opposite. She has large grey-blue eyes as well as tufts at the ends of her ears. She really is an adorable feline and you just want to cuddle against her cushion-y pelt. Lavenderpaw is reserved but still bursts with curiosity. As soon as she opened her eyes she wanted to explore ElmClan's territory, ready to take on any adventure ahead of her. However, this curiousness can lead to nosiness. Her snooping can get her into trouble quite easily. Lavenderpaw enjoys being around her friends and is one of the friendliest cats you'll ever meet. || parents are Plumwillow and ? || N/A, open to relationships
Fidgetpaw || tom || 8 moons || Apprentice ||Jekyll
Fidgetpaw is a small, ginger tabby tom with short fur and long legs. His eyes match the lighter ginger on his fur and grow darker by the pupils. He is a very kind and respectful tom, constantly trying to help and normally keeping an eye on Grimvale as he knows it's his fault for the tom's current condition. Fidgetpaw was at one time named Ricky though was abandoned when he was three moons old and found by Grimvale later on. He was taken to the clan, adopted by the tom, and has since lived and thrived within.
_______________________________ Queens
Eveningwillow || she-cat || 27 moons || Queen ||Jekyll
Eveningwillow is a very beautiful she-cat and is quite large in stature. Her fur is long and mainly white with rag doll markings as that is her breed. Her eyes are a pale, baby blue hue and shine with love. Her personality can be a bit odd as she can switch from being sad to happy to mad all at once. She is fiercely protective and will do whatever she can to help the clan and protect her kits.

Hollyflower ~ Tagging: No one
"Hmm" Hollyflower leaps down from the boulder, swiveling her ears around for prey. It's here somewhere. She creeps around the moor, her tail low and ears erect. A scent drifts near. Hollyflower inhales, and becomes more alert. It was a rabbit. She stalked closer to the strongest point, and soon enough, a rabbit was nibbling some seeds. The wind was blowing in the direction so the rabbit's scent floated toward her. Found you. She crept closer, unsheathed her claws, and sprinted forward with a hiss of fury. The rabbit jumped in fear and sprinted away, Hollyflower on its tail. Her claws lashed forward, snagging the rabbit's fur, and she pulled it closer and nipped its neck and it went limp. Hollyflower picked up her rabbit and dug up a shrew that she had caught earlier. This should be enough. Hollyflower trotted homeward bound. Just as she arrived in Elmclan camp, Hollyflower deposited her prey onto the fresh-kill pile and stretched, letting out the tension in her muscles. She sat down near the elm tree and licked her paw to draw it over her ear. What a peaceful day, She thought as bird song drifted throughout the air and into her ears. Hollyflower lay down with a sense of laziness, drifting into her mind to daydream about big things.

Lavenderpaw || open || ElmClan camp { ooc ;; n/a }
The morning the La Perm apprentice awoke to was chilly as ever, with an equally cold wind blowing. Lavenderpaw released a heavy sigh; she didn't exactly mind the temperature as she had a thick coat, but most of her clanmates would say otherwise. She liked it when everyone seemed to be in a good mood and ready to take on the day.
Today would not be one of those days. Most of the clan was still in their nests, avoiding the bitter wind howling outside. However, this feline was eager to leave the den she had been cooped up in all night. She was only just getting over a slight cold and had been confined in the medicine den for a short time to avoid her illness spreading. The apprentice had hated every minute of it. Not only was she not allowed to participate in the daily apprentice duties, she was also stuck with the boring medicine cat known as Coalfur. Though Lavenderpaw herself wasn't a very talkative cat, Coalfur was a new level of quiet. She missed having someone to talk to when she was bored. At least her mother, Plumwillow, had visited everyday to chat with her daughter.
Now Lavenderpaw was seated just outside the apprentices' den, awaiting any opportunity to get out of the camp and do something productive with her time.
Heatherspots || open || ElmClan camp { ooc ;; n/a }
The pale-furred tom was still in his nest well after the sun rose, feeling way to cold to actually get up and do something. He was quite content in the comfort of his mossy nest and really didn't have any attention to move any time soon. Although, his muscles were beginning to feel quite stiff and if he didn't stretch soon, he might be stuck in this position forever. Which didn't seem like a terrible idea to him if he thought about it. Then he would have an excuse not to leave the warriors' den.
But all good things must come to an end. Soon some cat of authority would realize he was MIA and come yell in his ear to get a move on. Heatherspots groaned aloud at the thought. That didn't sound like something he would want to start his day to. With another grunt of displeasure, the spindly tom finally uncurled himself from his nest and stretched to relieve his cramped limbs. Then he paused to groom himself; he didn't want to leave the den with moss sticking to his fur. Then he yawned at least twice (which was totally for dramatic effect). Finally, Heatherspots exited the den and headed right for the fresh-kill pile.
Sorrelwhisker || open || ElmClan territory { ooc ;; n/a }
"Gotcha!" Sorrelwhisker collided with the squirrel she had been chasing during her morning, solo hunt. The fluffy feline normally woke up and did this unless she was especially tired, just to get herself ready for the rest of her day. It always felt good to get up and go run, hunt some prey, do whatever she wanted without someone there to deter her. The squirrel struggling beneath her paws let out a panicked squeal and the feline's claws curled into its flesh, telling her it was time to finish the job. Sorrelwhisker bent down and killed it swiftly, looking away as the life faded from its eyes. Thank you for your life, she thanked silently before lifting it up by the tail. As a kit, she was taught by her mother to always give thanks for each life that benefits your own. Sorrelwhisker has always stuck by that ever since.
Fortunately, the molly wasn't too far from camp and it didn't take long for her to spot the familiar clearing. Her tabby tail flicking happily, she entered, immediately setting her kill down on the pile that was looking measly until now. It looked like someone else had just gone out, too. After depositing her prey, the pretty she-cat's eyes flitted around hopefully, pining to spot a certain tom she had liked for some time now.
Coalfur || open || ElmClan med. den { ooc ;; n/a }
The dark-furred medicine cat had just woken up and was already at work. The day before he had set out some herbs to dry since it wasn't too windy, but today things were obviously different. His demeanor was worried as he padded out of his den to find only half of what he had laid out still present. "Fox dung," the tom cursed to himself before scooping the plants in his jaws and bringing them into his herb store. He didn't bother sorting them right then; first he needed to locate the missing herbs. Who knows where they could have blown off to? Coalfur's lips were drawn in a frown as he reappeared from his den, nose to the ground as he sniffed around for the lost supplies. Surely they hadn't gone too far off.
Perhaps he should enlist help. After searching for a couple minutes and no luck, the tom decided he had better chances if someone were to help him. Looking around for the closest cat, he spotted Hollyflower idling beside the elm tree. Perfect. "Hollyflower!" Coalfur called in a beckoning tone. "Do you mind helping me find some herbs? They blew away recently."

swiftfur--camp-- Swiftfur slowly makes her way out or the warriors den, her short fur slick against the biting wind. She seemed to wrinkle her nose up at the idea, the corners of her teeth seeming to curl followed by a short tsk as she padded towards the fresh kill pile, before spotting Heatherspots. The tip of her tail seemed to twitch as he approached, though whether it was out of annoyance or just for the sake of twitching, none could guess. She reached down, gingerly picking up a squirrel in her jaws. " You're out late. I thought you had patrol duty today." Quickstar --- Camp
The silver she-cat had been watching the clan for some time. She always kept a an eye on the morning routines. On this day in particular, she seemed to be paying an especial amount of attention on Lavenderpaw. She had noted the apprentice was still without a mentor, and that she was clearly very eager to start her training. Jumping down from the branch she called home, she weaved her way through the branches and the other cats, as quiet as a shadow until she had reached the den. She was careful to be silent as she sat beside the the apprentice, her long, feathery tail wrapping around the leader's front paws. Bramblepelt --- Camp Bramblepelt groomed himself heavily, till his thick fur was groomed beyond groomed. He was idling, of course, waiting for his temporary apprentice to get back from patrol. Normally, Wheatpaw was Plumwillow's mentor, but poor Plumwillow had been so busy with her ill daughter, that Bramblepelt was happy to help. Now he stared at the fresh kill pile, wondering if he should go and eat now or later.

Hollyflower ~ Tagging: @partlycloudly9 Hollyflower stopped mid-lick, startled, but she started to relax a little. "Of course, Coalfur, that sounds great." She stood up, shook her legs out for a few heartbeats, and rested her tan eyes on the sleek black tom. "What herbs are you looking for? Catmint? Chervil, poppy seeds?" She asked with a flick of her tail. "I know a few more herbs, such as Watermint, Daisy, Marigold, and dock," She added, trying to be helpful, but on the inside she was a bit nervous. Will I choose the herbs? What if I mistake deathberries for another kind of berry? I'll be in deep trouble... Her mind worried, but she cleared her head and tried to remember the herbs she knew. Broom, blackberry leaves, Lamb's Ear, Alder bark, Honey...

She looked up to see none other than Quickstar emerging from the branches above and hopping down from her perch. The apprentice continued to watch the leader curiously as she weaved among her clanmates, wondering where she was headed to this morning. Hm, she's getting kind of close, Lavenderpaw mused as the silver cat padded nearer. Is she coming to rouse some of the warriors?The La Perm's eyes widened a bit when she realized that Quickstar was headed for her. Lavenderpaw kept quiet as ElmClan's leader settled down next to her, wrapping her plumy tail around her paws as if she didn't have plans to move anytime soon. The younger molly gulped silently; she had never officially spoken with the leader. The only time she had been addressed by her was during her apprentice ceremony. Lavenderpaw had been quite disappointed when she was left without a mentor. It was hard for her to constantly go around with different warriors to try and learn anything. All cats have differences, especially when it comes to hunting and battling styles. Lavenderpaw wasn't sure what she was good at yet. Deciding that sitting in absolute silence would prove to be awkward, the grey she-cat finally stammered out, "Good morning, Quickstar."Heatherspots || cptsisko || ElmClan camp{ ooc ;; n/a }Here we go, Heatherspots grumbled inwardly as he turned his head to face Swiftfur. "Aren't I older than you?" The she-cat was only a moon younger than he was, but often acted like she was ages older. The pale tom wouldn't be surprised if she had aspirations to be deputy. He, too, leaned down to retrieve a shrew from the pile before moving to pad away. "I might have patrol duty today." He wouldn't let her know that he had in fact forgotten about his job for today. Heatherspots took a seat a little ways from the base of the elm tree, enjoying the way the branches blocked out some of the wind. Although his pelt wasn't the thinnest, this tom despises cold weather. Especially on days when it's windy like this. He also wasn't afraid to complain about how much it bothered him. Sorrelwhisker || cptsisko || ElmClan camp{ ooc ;; btw, wheatpaw is no longer with the clan, as she left with Sorrelwhisker's father. those two are loners now. also, is it ok if bramblepelt and sorrelwhisker are good friends? }There, Sorrelwhisker thought triumphantly as she spotted Bramblepelt grooming himself a little ways from the prey pile. The spirited molly totted over, blue eyes bright as she greeted him. "Good morning!" She mewed with a friendly twitch of her ears. She observed his staring at the fresh-kill pile, as if he was unsure of whether he should eat or not. "Would you like to share something? I haven't eaten yet and I'm famished after going out to hunt." Maybe she was being a little pushy, but Sorrelwhisker truly enjoyed Bramblepelt's company (even if the feeling wasn't returned). She was still a kit when he was apprenticed and she looked up to him ever since she was young, even though they were only four moons apart. Coalfur || UnsightlyHeretic831 || ElmClan camp{ ooc ;; n/a }
Coalfur felt relieved as the she-cat agreed to assist him. "Thank you. We're looking for oak leaves, alder bark, sage leaves, and some poppy heads." He jerked his head for her to follow him as he contiuned, "They're all seperate, but the sage and poppy heads will be easier to fine due to their scent." As he explained everything to Hollyflower, he noticed a glimmer of uncertainty in her pale eyes. "Don't worry, this is an easy task. It won't matter if you mistake something for another thing."
Turning back around, the medicine cat restarted sniffing the ground while scanning the area around him. He felt a twinge of annoyance as he struggled; the constant wind was making this harder than it needed to be. Hopefully, with Hollyflower's help, he would find his missing herbs soon. He had only just collected them and would rather not having to leave the camp again.

Hollyflower nodded. "I know what alder and poppy heads look like. I also know that oak leaves are in, obviously, oak trees, but I don't know what sage looks like." She meowed as she headed towards an oak tree, swiftly climbing up with a sense of urgency to find what she needed. Here's a good batch. She unsheathed her claws and cut the leaves at the base with one swipe of her paw and grabbed them in her jaws before the fell, and she climbed back down the tree. "I found some fresh oak leaves higher up that tree," She said as her ears twitched. "Any luck?"

Coalfur || UnsightlyHeretic831 || ElmClan camp{ ooc ;; hey jekyll! }
Coalfur thanked her with a silent nod as he moved past his den and towards the edge of camp. The bundles of sage, alder, and poppy could have gotten stuck within the thick wall of tangled brambles surrounding ElmClan's camp. However, sticking his face into those barbed plants didn't sound like a pleasant idea. Coalfur sighed before sniffing tentatively at the bramble for any sign of his missing supplies.
"No luck. The bundles must've blown into the bramble, or maybe some of the dens." It wouldn't be easy for the plants to escape the wall encasing their home, so they had to be somewhere in the camp. "Since you know what alder back and poppy heads look like, go ahead and look for those. I'll bring the leaves inside and then search for the sage." Without waiting for a reply, the black tom took the leaves Hollyflower had collected back to his herb store. Later, when it wasn't so windy, he would set them out to dry. Coalfur puffed out an irritated sigh when he realized he was being set back. He just wanted to get stuff done before leafbare was upon them.

Hollyflower nodded and padded out of camp. She searched the small wildflower patches for the poppy heads, and when she found it, she nipped quite a few stocks carefully and searched for the alder. When she found the alder later, she took it gently and tucked it underneath her chin and headed back to camp at a trot. When she reached camp, she when into Coalfur's den and placed the herbs next to Coalfur. "I found a plentiful batch of both, they looked fresh." She mewed, studying the herbs she had taken.

( cfujdfouvjfdghiughbihguhgiuhgiufghiurrghiuifh i didnt mean to sleep for as long as I DID B UT HERE I AM! I've added all new characters! Also Jekyll, all my characters are full rn rip. I think waves has another character BUT if you'd like I can come up with someone new! ) Swiftfur --- Camp "If you have patrol duty, why are you still in camp?" Swiftfur seemed to melt into the ground as she sat to eat her squirrel, tail wrapped around all four of her paws until she resembled a tired ball of fur. She'd make no mention to Heatherspots that the patrols had not left yet due to the chill. She wanted to see if he would bring it up himself. You know. Because she was a jerk. Quickstar --- Camp Quickstar let out a small, quiet hum as she looked out over the rest of the clan. Despite her long coat, the wind still presented a chill to her bones. She imagined the other cats felt the same, especially those with shorter coats than hers. Once more, she looked down at the small apprentice beside her, a bit embarrassed to see how petrified the poor cat seemed. Was she really that intimidating? " Good morning, Lavenderpaw. I have a few things I'd like to ask you, if you're not busy at the moment." Quickstar had been flitting between who should mentor the young she-cat for quite some time now. Swiftfur and Heatherspots were abrasive, even if they didn't mean to be. Grimvale and Bramblepelt were her choices now, though she worried if the former was too intimidating and if the latter was too friendly. She had briefly wondered if she should mentor the young apprentice herself, but she didn't want to draw criticism or unwanted attention onto Lavenderpaw. "If you could choose anyone to be your mentor among the cats of this clan, who do you think you would choose? If I'm being honest, I feel a bit guilty leaving you without one for so long." Bramblepelt --- Camp ( Oh! Thanks for letting me know! Also I'm totally fine with them being friends ) The tom perked up as his friend approached. He had looked for her when he woke up, and was mildly disappointed when he couldn't find her. He always liked to share breakfast with either her or his sister, and it seemed his sister was busy being prickly as usual. He smiled a bit, the tip of his tail flicking out to gently hit Sorrelwhisker on the nose. " I'm always hungry, you know that! I'd love to share something. There's a nice fat squirrel I plan on saving to bring to the nursery later, but I spotted a really nice shrew on the pile too."

Heatherspots || cptsisko || ElmClan Camp{ ooc ;; dw about it! sleep is very important lmao }
"Do you have patrol duty?" Heatherspots took another bite from his shrew. "Because I might. Maybe we could go together." He winked slyly at the she-cat, not afraid to push prickly Swiftfur's buttons. She was up to something, he could tell, but didn't know what. Two can play at this game, thought Heatherspots as he took another bite of his meal. He loved a good challenge and Swiftfur was proving to be a great one. Normally he didn't chat with her, since she wasn't the most sociable feline, but she was giving him the energy he had been lacking this morning.
Lavenderpaw || cptsisko || ElmClan Camp { ooc ;; n/a }The timid apprentice blinked a few times, still a little too surprised. "Well..." Lavenderpaw couldn't give Quickstar a straight answer that easily. Traditionally, she knew, apprentices were given their mentor and weren't allowed to have a say in who it was. The idea had always seemed nice to her, but now that it was actually happening it was harder to decide. She didn't really know the warriors of ElmClan that well, excluding her mother, Plumwillow. If she could, the apprentice might have chosen her mother, but that wasn't allowed either. Plus, it would be a little embarrassing if she mulled it over a few times. Lavenderpaw's grey-blue gaze flitted from option to option, feeling overwhelmed. Swiftur... one warrior she truly did not know. Although, she had overheard her mother grumbling about how discourteous the molly could be... Swiftfur didn't seem like a good idea for her. Beside the warrior, a tom called Heatherspots sat. To be honest, he made Lavenderpaw laugh, but sometimes he could be a little annoying. Next was Bramblepelt. Lavenderpaw narrowed her eyes in thought; he was always nice to her when he took her out hunting occasionally. He was definitely a good choice. Sorrelwhisker was too young, and Grimvale was quite intimidating to her... ".. what about Bramblepelt?" She finally mewed, though her voice still sounded unsure. Was it this difficult choosing mentors for apprentices as a leader? "But I'm okay with anyone, Quickstar, really." In reality, Lavenderpaw has trained with at least every warrior in the camp and wouldn't mind working with any of them.Coalfur || UnsightlyHeretic831 || ElmClan Camp { ooc ;; btw the herbs they're looking for are ones he had already collected, they just blew away.. but it doesn't really matter ig, just keep doing what you're doing lol }It didn't take too long to find the missing sage after he stored away the oak leaves. The scent was fairly strong since they were now dry, but spotting them in the brambles was the hardest part. Coalfur would be lying if he said he retrieved the herbs without a scratch. Coalfur jumped a little when Hollyflower appeared back in his den to give him the poppy heads. He eyed the plants and thanked her, a little disappointed that they weren't the ones he had already dried. Oh well. I'll just dry them whenever it's not windy. It was his fault to leave them out on such a windy day, letting his precious supplies fly away like that. "I found the rest of the herbs," he told her while sorting the plants. "Thank you for your time, Hollyflower."Sorrelwhisker || cptsisko || ElmClan Camp { ooc ;; THEY'RE SOOO CUTE OML }
The fluffy she-cat purred in amusement as he flicked her nose and felt a flash of affection for the tom. She knew the feelings weren't returned, but Bramblepelt has been her best friend for a long time. He was there for her when her mother went crazy and her father left, when Sorrelwhisker was not the cat she was today. The molly was once what you would call depressed and angry over the fact that her family had left her by herself. It took awhile for her to get back to her normal self.
"That is true, you pig," she teased, returning his gesture with a gentle swipe of his ear. "Shall we go fetch it, then? Maybe we can deliver the squirrel, too." Sorrelwhisker enjoyed visiting the nursery, especially when it was full of kits. Right now, Eveningwillow was the only occupant, but soon it would be full of her litter. The Birman she-cat couldn't wait to see what they looked like and eventually play moss-ball with them. She missed the times where she and her sister, Wheatpaw, would play together all day long without a care in the world.

Swiftfur --- Camp Swiftfur felt her fur prickle and her nose wrinkle at the tom's words. She knew he was saying it to bother her, and she hated to admit that it was working. It was easy to rile her up of course. Swiftfur was... picky with who she associated herself with, finding most cats to be rather irritating. Besides her brother, the only cats she had ever gotten along with was Brightfoot, and he had disappeared. "I was on patrol last night. " She retorted, licking her muzzle clean. " But if you really can't find anyone else to go with you, then fine. We can't really send you off on your own can we? You might not come back." Quickstar --- Camp Quickstar nodded a bit, idly grooming her paw as the apprentice looked from warrior to warrior. The she-cat seemed to be weighing her options carefully, something the leader had done herself. Her tail flicked gently as she listened. " Bramblepelt is indeed a good warrior. I'll take him into consideration then. " She moved to stretch, taking care to give the young cat room. " I promise you you'll have a mentor soon, but until then, I'd like to see how you hunt." Bramblepelt --- Camp
Bramblepelt felt the fur on his cheeks get hot as he ducked away rather sheepishly from his friend. It's true the tom had a large appetite, but he was somewhat embarrassed by it. He knew Sorrelwhisker wasn't malicious in her teasing though. The two had always been very close, and had kept each other company through their various trials and rough patches. He was very fond of the she-cat, though he would be far too nervous to admit it. "Sounds good to me. Should we eat first, or bring the squirrel." He paused for a moment. " D'you like kits, Sorrelwhisker? "
