Felk looked ahead to watch the road and she still listened to their surroundings as they spoke. "Given my status, I'm sure I can convince someone to give me a good look at the remains. If they haven't already identified the victim as a vampire, I can. It could be someone I know, given I tend to hand-pick my company. And if it's not a vampire in the morgue, I can probably identify a mark left by a vampire, just like you might recognize a mark left by a demon."
"We need to make it clear we know things they don't and that they benefit from our information." She clarified.
Raven nodded slowly as she listened. She agreed with everything that was being said. While she could use her status as well, she knew better than to tell just anyone. There was a reason most of the world didn't know about the Morningstar family. They had enemies. Plenty of them. But, the thought of her own status brought her back to the Vampire mentioning hers. "Status? What are you well respected among the vampires here?" she asked, looking for the morgue. It was closer to Midnight now. Very few people roaming the streets now. At most, she counted three people walking and jogging in various directions.

(Happy new year!)
A slight smirk played on Felk's face and she gave a shrug at the demon's question. "You could say that. I'm pretty certain I have enough pull in my community to at least get the police to listen to us."
Felk was mostly unaware how most other creature's hierarchies functioned, save for the human's politics. She and her kind had been hiding amongs them do so long, it was hard to ignore what was going on in their world. Given how few and far between her encounters with other monsters were, she hadn't thought to ask or learn their ways. She sort of expected the same from other creatures, too.
(Honestly, if you want to take both you can, this hasn't been very active so I might just close it off and let people take multiple characters. Plus I know you. But, no matter what character you make they will most likely make me fall for them and then break my heart in a matter of seconds XD)
Raven approached the morgue and gave some of the officers outside of the building a friendly smile. They gave her half smiled and curious glances to the fact that she was still wearing sunglasses in the middle of the night. Inside the building, it was busier than usual. Because of the many different murders happening, Police were more active around the clock. Walking right up to the front desk, Raven grinned at the officer at the desk and leaned against the counter. "Hello good sir, we have a couple questions for you," she began then turned to Felk so she could work her magic.

Ronan had been watching the scene from a far. His tracker told him that there was at least one demon nearby, and he had been investigating if it had something to do with the murder. Emerging from the shadows, he advanced towards the scene. He needed to see the body. Ignoring the two individuals who had been trying to convince the police to let them see the body, he simply flashed a badge (ok so what if maybe demon hunter is kinda like bounty hunter-ish, so he has a badge as some kind of law enforcement and he gets special priviledges? if you don't like that though, that's totally cool!) and the officers let him through.
Raven noticed a man walk right past all the officers, right past them, and right past the divider between the morgue and the main lobby just by flashing some sort of badge. He didn't look like a man in blue. And he didn't look like any other creature she knew of which meant he was human. The princess pouted and turned to look at the man they were talking to interrupting the conversation. "Ok real quick," she started then pointed towards where the strange man had gone with her thumb. "Who is he and why does he get clearance?' she asked raising an eyebrow. The officer looked over the desk to see who the girl in front of him was talking about. "That guy's a bounty hunter. He's got clearance for most things in the police department." the man explained tiredly. Raven pouted and slapped her hand down on the counter. Looking back to where the man had disappeared, she tilted her head down so she could look over her sunglasses. "You mean a Monster Hunter," she muttered bitterly. Taking a moment to think it over, Raven told the vampire to stay here to try and convince him while she did something. And that something was to try and break in through the back door.

(Sorry, we're flying today and then I won't be home until very very late. Nice to meet you, Dreamer. If we're opening slots to other roles, I'll see about picking one up once it's official.)
Felk watched the young woman's attempt to convince the police, and her frustration when the human man was given clearance. When the demon stepped aside to figure something else out, she gave a soft cough before she spoke, locking her cold eyes on the officer in front of her.
"My name is Felk Kyerie. I'm here to investigate the body of a recent murder victim, under an officer's supervision of course. Namely, I'm here to determine if the victim is one of my vampires, or if there's a sign that a vampire was involved in the murder. If the remains are vampiric, I will be taking custody once your investigation is complete to be certain the remains are laid to rest in accordance with our ways. The young lady with me is a consultant to identify possible demon involvement." She wasn't sure if the police would be familiar with her name or title, though it wasn't necessarily hard to prove her identity.
(Ok! Safe travels Valko and please enjoy your flight!)
The officer thought about it for a while. Simply staring at the woman before sighing and holding up his finger while he picked up the phone on his desk. Dialing a short number he turned his back to her and spoke to the other person on the line for a couple of minutes. Turning around, the man hung up the phone and started typing into his computer. "You are allowed visitation. In no way are you allowed to touch the body or take anything from the morgue. You are there for Identification only. Understood?" he asked handing her two paper passes. Once she confirmed he waved to the other guards to let her through.
Raven, on the other hand, had snuck around the building to the alleyway where the bodies were transported from place to place. There was a man, presumably a medical examinator, walking down the alleyway towards a car. He was texting on his phone and smoking a cigarette, not really paying attention to anything around him. Especially the fact that he left the door slightly ajar. They were just making it easy for her this time weren't they? Quickly, she slipped up to the door and pulled on the handle. It was stuck. No wonder the man wasn't that nervous about it. She had to pull on it a couple times before it opened with a loud screech. Raven cringed and, deciding not to waste any more time, walked inside. From there she entered the examination room and looked up to see the strange man. Quickly blinking her eyes she changed her eye color and pupil shape to look like normal human brown eyes. Only once she was certain her eyes looked human did she take off her sunglasses. She knew those lessons in manipulation would be helpful one day.

(did you have a particular species in mind for the dead guy?)
Ronan had asked for the room to be cleared so that he could examine the body in piece, so when he heard the loud screeching of the back door, he called out, "The room is to be cleared while I'm examining. I already talked to your chief officer about this, so would you please--" His voice cut off when he finally looked up to see the woman who had been trying to get access to the body standing before him. His dark eyes narrowed, and he frowned. He would have asked how she got in, but it was clear that some idiot left the back door open, thus allowing some girl to simply waltz in. "I'm sorry, but this room is off limits." He said coldly.

~Duskheart~: It USED to be more sketchy. It's good for finding sources now.

Moonlight: it's not like a fandom wikia that can just be made and edited by anyone lol. There's tons of moderation. though I do agree about WebMD, there are better places for that for sure >_>

Smokey Feather: Winter Hawk misophonia is hatred of sound basically. You get at the very least highly annoyed by sounds that most don't consider annoying more of less. Chewing, tapping, breathing, etc. I'm putting it simple but it's a little more complex xD
