Redwing trotted along the forest absentmindedly. It had been a long day and she was tired and almost completely brain dead. She paused, cringing slightly as her stomach growled. Not much prey had been out at all that day, and she was beginning to lose hope.

Sunset sprinted down a tree. Delicious! She thought as she put down a squirrel she was carrying. She took a deep breath and picked it up again, and walked to her den. It was a big bush, with a small unnoticeable opening. The smell was mouth-watering. She dug in, starting from the flank.

The rich smell of prey suddenly filled her nose. She was immediately drawn to it, missing the scent of a cat that went along with it. She crouched and tracked it down quietly, pausing as she saw Sunset with the prey, she couldn't help but let out a growl.
