Neat! Do you want to do character forms, or how do you want to start?

Nice. I'll have a character up as soon as I decide who I'm playing.

Sure, just remind me what plot we had because I have also been in a winter-blah mood and I've gotten a lot of things mixed around since we last spoke)

Works for me. Do you prefer I start or you?)

(That's fine, and I think I'll use my human character primarily, but I have several humanoids he's close to~ I'll get a starter out soon)

(Sorry I took so long~)
Aarow had spent most of the day out looking for work. He had only just turned eighteen this year and he was finally old enough to start working a job that could put him in his own apartment and get him the independence he was supposed to have at this point.
The selkie he'd been staying with repeatedly promised he didn't have to go anywhere anytime soon if he didn't want to, but Aarow had felt like he'd asked too much already just moving in. He hadn't been asked to pay anything in rent in the time he'd been here, and he was anxious his welcome would wear thing eventually.
Today had been another bust. Few places were hiring these days, and even fewer wanted a kid with zero experience and obvious anxiety. He hadn't even been able to make eye contact when he'd asked for the applications.
He had decided to stop by one of the city parks for a bit. He'd told the selkie he wouldn't be home for another few hours and he didn't know where else to try to apply to. He didn't want to go home earlier, there was no doubt the selkie would ask about it. He was sure he'd think of something else if he gave himself the time. He approached one of the park benches that was well lit with one of the few streetlights in the park and he sat down at it.
