That’s definitely something we can do but is it alright if we postpone that for a little while? It’s only that this year is about to get incredibly busy with exams and stuff like that so I’m sticking to just the one rp I have running for the moment)

{{ oh wow. I was gone because life got real busy - interesting to see people are still interested in this though. I can't commit to being active every day, but I can probably manage to get on once a week for the next little while if I'm lucky. If I kind of 'reopened' this, how many are interested in continuing? }}

{{ alrighty - tell ya' what, I'll wipe the front page except for you Apollo and let all of the spots be open. If any of the original members want to keep going, just let me know and you can have your spot back, but that way we aren't waiting for people to reply and having spots closed. Also I'll make an exception if you're an original member who wants their spot back, but a new member has claimed it, I'll make a duplicate of the spot so you can have your character back. }}

Lexa Holling "fear. fear is the relinquishment of logic. the willing relinquishing of reasonable patterns. we yield to it or fight it, but we can not meet it halfway."
Lexa was running. She'd woken up with the sun and had slipped out of the room Cam and her had decided to sleep in the classroom block. Neither of them had been able to sleep with all of the noise in the gym for the first week after this whole thing had happened, and had decided, along with a few others, to find their own, much quieter place to sleep. Although sleep was still hard to achieve, with the need for constant alertness, at least she wasn't sharing a room with half of the school now. So that was something. Lexa had gone to shake Cam awake that morning as she glanced out at the slowly lightening sky, but had paused, and then decided not to for two reasons. One was that Cam actually appeared to be in a rather peaceful sleep, something that was rare for him since this had all started, and two was because she didn't really want to hear his warnings to her to be careful, or to brush off his offers to go with her, even though he didn't really want, just to make sure that she wasn't alone out there. Lexa didn't even know what Cam meant when he said 'out there', it wasn't like she ever left the school grounds, she hardly even left the area surrounding the buildings the students occupied - she just couldn't stand being cooped up inside all of the time. She had to get out and do something. There was no point in sitting around and waiting for someone else to fix the problem for her, oh no, she needed to be part of the solution to the problem. Ending her run at the science labs, Lexa decided that she would stop by, just to see how things where going. She didn't want to intrude, but she figured she may be of some use if anyone needed any supplies. Lexa liked to have something to do, and fetching things for people was one of the easiest ways to stay busy. Walking into the labs, Lexa found Icarus, one of the few students that she knew since they were in the same year. "Hey there." She greeted, eyes skipping over the various instruments and test tubes along the table - Lexa had never really been one for science. "Need anything? Happy to get supplies for you." She added on, her voice trailing off slightly as she wandered towards a stack of petri dishes a little further down the table, peering at the contents inside.

{{ . -- here's ellie's last reply for reference as well (: }}
{{ . -- so sorry I didn't end up replying last night, but here you go! Will reply to Jake and Britt as well (: }}
Ellie Jacobs "the glass is neither empty nor full. it is what it is. a glass." Ellie returned her focus back to the game as CJ sat down beside her on the bench. She was kind of unsurprised by this point as another collision happened in front of them. That made three. But hey, they were children and they were pretty resilient, the fact that they were even laughing as they placed this game in the middle of an apocalypse proof enough of that. That was part of the reason that Ellie actually didn't mind children, they, in a way, were all realists just like her, knowing that there was no point in dwelling on the bad things when there was so many more interesting things to be doing. She too, had gone to move at the initial collision and tears, sitting up a little straighter as if she'd been about to stand, but as the game partially paused and the little girls tears tried, she relaxed again, hands resting behind her as she leaned back slightly. That was the other thing about the apocalypse surprisingly, the sun didn't seem to shine so bright, and so days like this when there wasn't a cloud in the sky were rare. She didn't know what it was about the virus, or even if it was the virus at all, more likely simply her own perception of the weather conditions, but she planned to take full advantage of the sun while she could. Ellie stilled however, as CJ admitted that he hadn't slept particularly well, explaining that AJ hadn't been feeling well. That could mean a few different things. She didn't say anything as he continued, saying that she was alright and asking her not to tell anyone. Now that could be a problem. If AJ was infected, then they should put her into quarantine before she could infect anyone else, like she probably already had CJ, but on the other hand, it was equally, if not more likely, that AJ was simply under the weather. The constant stress for everyone in this new situation had taken its toll on them all, this might just be AJ's turn. Stress worked in mysterious ways. After a few moments hesitation as she considered these things, Ellie dipped her head slightly. "I won't tell anyone. Yet." She said. "If she gets worse, then...well...I'm making no promises." She added on, knowing that it would be worse to lie, but also figuring that CJ would be able to understand where she was coming from. Even if she was his sister, he couldn't expect her to let an infected person run loose around the safe haven they had built to infect everyone else. "Better than you, apparently." She muttered as CJ asked how she had slept. "It's surprising, though. The amount of waiting around that goes on in an apocalypse." She added on lightly. "We should probably organise another supply run soon though." As one of the older people still at the school, Ellie was part of the discussions about the decisions that needed to be made, such as organising supply runs. It was becoming common knowledge that their supplies were running low, so something did need to be done, and relatively soon.
