So it's an idea that I've been planning for about a year now. I've tried doing it many times over many forums but it's always ended in me losing activity and the tribe dying because of it. But since I really love the idea, I thought that maybe asking other people to help run it with me would help
Tribe of Many Storms
The tribe lives on a tropical island somewhere in the Asia-Pacific quite a distance away from any mainland. It is filled with dense jungle, many rivers and wetlands, mountains, and beaches. Storms regularly ravage the land, giving the tribe its name.

What I'd need help with:
- camp ideas. Originally they lived in a rocky hollow in the center of the island but that is subject to change. Mostly because I feel like it doesn't fit them.
- plot ideas
- layout/templates. While I'm technically the one who'll make it, I definitely need suggestions. I'm aiming for something simple but stylized enough that fits the tribe uniquely. Hard to read templates are the main thing that pushes me away from joining rps so this will be something that I personally need to see to work.
- suggestions. Is it too complicated? Like I've tried to flesh this tribe out as much as possible with the lore and beliefs. I even have specific events, celebrations, and funeral rites that I left out since I thought it was too much. This is my main problem lol, I worldbuild too much without stopping to ask if everything was still understandable

Territory
To the south is the twolegs' only mark on the island- the ruins of a very small twolegplace on a beach and a port. There are rarely any twolegs due to the frequent hurricanes, though some still visit to research the land once in a blue moon, sometimes bringing new cats with them. Due to the lack of use and the weather, the twolegnests are unstable and dangerous.
To the north are mountains where several caves are considered secure enough to act as temporary camps in case of flooding. Several springs can be found here as well as the falls from which most of the island's rivers stem from. There is a complex tunnel system maintained by the tribe cats that is used to house the sick, store important items, or act as easy access from one part of the island to another.
To the east is the cove. A rock formation stands there in the shape of a crouching cat. The tribe can climb up stones to find a beautiful view of the hidden beach below. it is one of the rare places on the island that are safe from storms because it is so sheltered and hidden.
To the west is the Dreaming Tree, a hollow stranger fig tree that shows a perfect view of the night sky. It is surrounded by a small stream. Tribe cats go here to communicate with their ancestors. The dead are also buried here.

Ranks
Stormspeaker
The leader of the tribe. They are tasked with "stormspeaking", watching the sea and sky for any signs of incoming storms. They must change their name to Storm, relating to what they want their reign as leader to be. For example, a ferocious leader could be named Storm that Rages On. Stormspeaker to-bes are appointed by the previous Stormspeaker or are voted in by the heads of the divisions if the current Stormspeaker cannot come to a decision. They can be of any age though kit-aged to-bes are usually frowned upon as they have not yet shown what they can do to the rest of the tribe. Formally addressed face to face as Stormspeaker but can be called by their full name if talking about multiple Stormspeakers at once.
Jungle-Runners
The land-based hunters of the tribe. They patrol the jungle and keep guard for the other dangerous inhabitants of the island. They are slender yet muscular, excellent runners and climbers. Formally addressed as Runner (Name).
River-Watchers
The water-based hunters of the tribe. They navigate the rivers, wetlands, and beaches of the island. They also alert the tribe for any floods coming their way. They have sleek, waterproof pelts and are excellent swimmers. Formally addressed as Watcher (Name).
Tunnel-Diggers
The builders of the tribe. They are tasked with maintaining the complex tunnel system that lies under the island. They are strong and stout, with shorter legs and thick paw pads that are better built for the rocky mountains. Formally addressed as Digger (Name).
Dream-Healers
The healing force of the tribe. They know every useful and dangerous substance on the island. They also take charge of the many events that happen within the tribe and have a closer connection with the tribe's deities. They have the most varied build of the tribe. Formally addressed as Healer (Name).
To-Bes
The young trainees of the tribe. They are in training to be in one of the three divisions. The Stormspeaker puts them in the division most suited for their build, excluding any specific requests to be healers. To-bes are trained by all members of their division, however, it is not uncommon to see a particular pair share a close mentor bond.
Elders
Though tribe members do not officially retire, they are no longer given any duties and instead become advisers to both the Stormspeaker and the heads of their division. When they wish to retire, they simply tell everyone to call them with their new name. They are formally addressed as Elder (Division Title) (Name). Retired Stormspeakers however are addressed as Elder Storm.

Layers of the World
Arra, the lowest
This is the final resting place for the dark spirits. Any non-cat spirit automatically goes here as well as the spirits of exiled tribemates. It is believed to be a huge, black cavern. There are cracks in the cavern's roof where tree roots from the land of the living drip blood that rains down to feed Ashom. (See 'The Ancients')
Mrorra, the land of the living
Here is where all souls spend their living days. Murr's blood and tears make up the earth and water. (See 'The Ancients')
Hashra, the inbetween
A purgatory of sorts. It is the sky that can be seen from Mrorra. All spirits float up here, all wanting to reach the top layer The Protectors remain on this layer.
Uahrra, the highest
Ultimate paradise in the eyes of the tribe. Here, tribe cats can rest in an island paradise. Here, food is plenty, there are no wars to be fought, and everything is beautiful.

The Ancients
They are the deities of creation. Three astral siblings who hold the world in place. They all represent the fragile balance of life.
Ashom, the eldest
He is a massive lion holding the world in his jaws. Both parts of his maw are being held open by his siblings. He is the representation of anger, rage, and fury. The tribe calls upon him during wars and pray that he gives them courage and bravery in battle. Despite the fact that he wants to destroy the world, they still respect him.
Romir, the middle
She is a tiger with fur the color of the shifting sky. She wraps around the world and every time she moves, the sky changes. Her eyes are a fiery gold- the sun. Her outstretched claws pull Ashom's top maw. She represents wisdom and the tribe calls upon her during tough decisions.
Murr, the yongest
She is a jaguar who is constantly crying. Her tears fill the ocean down on Mrorra. She was blinded, her eyes a cloudy white- the moon. The scars on her face still bleed, forming new, habitable islands on Mrorra. Her claws rip at Ashom's mane, pulling on his lower jaw. She represents kindness and goodness and the tripe prays to her to ask for peaceful times ahead.

Story of Creation
There was nothing in the sky but dust, fire, and darkness.
From that darkness, out crawled dark creatures- the Dog, the Eagle, and the Shark to name a few. They patrolled the sky, swallowing everything in their path.
From the fire, out burst a massive lion, Ashom. He saw what the dark creatures were doing and vowed to defeat them. Their battle was hard but Ashom was victorious. He slew them and shred the darkness to pieces, leaving them small and scattered but still plenty.
This battle caused the fire to stir, and out came Romir, the tiger of the sky. The two siblings managed to chase the remaining darkness away, though they both knew they'd be back for revenge. Ashom wanted an army to support them in their battle. Romir then used the dust to create an empty world.
As they were creating it, the last flickering embers of the fire stirred once more and Murr crawled out, a jaguar. She spun the world of dust around and started laughing in glee. She threw the ashes of the fire she and her siblings were born from into the world from which the first cats were made.
As this was happening, the darkness managed to infiltrate their world, growing an army of their own from under the Ancients' noses. It was Murr who found out after finding the mangled body of a cat floating on the water, killed by one of the dark.
Ashom was enraged and he wanted to destroy the world immediately, wanting to get rid of the darkness forever. However, Romir didn't want their creation to go to waste so she stopped him. The two elder siblings fought while Murr tearfully watched from the sidelines.
Ashom, being the stronger of the two, overpowered Romir and moved to eat the world whole. Murr could hear the cries of help from the first cats and and rushed to defend them. Ashom accidentally clawed her face in the struggle, blinding her. Romir moved to help, pulling Ashom's top maw up. Murr, despite the pain, pulled Ashom's lower jaw, their combined forces stopping their brother from closing his jaws.
Murr began to cry, filling the world's oceans. The blood from her wounds made plants grow on barren islands, where the cats would claim home. Creatures of darkness still inhabit the world but are weakened due to being trapped within it. The three astral siblings now encircled the world, forever watching over it.

The Protectors
The are the patron deities of the tribe, the founding members. Despite long being able to cross over to Uahrra, they have selflessly chosen to stay on Hashra to watch over the tribe. They occasionally step down to Mrorra to guide the tribe through difficult times.
