β½Boopβ½Finn felt his breath rush out of him as the vampire suddenly turned around and slammed his body onto the forest floor. He let out a surprised whimper, feeling the cold mud underneath him and stones pierce his backside. The pain didn't end there, as before the werewolf had a chance to move, Christopher was already sinking his fangs into Finn's shoulder.
The pain was a surreal burning sensation, like two hot knives stabbing into his flesh. He howled in anguish, using his four legs to try and kick the vampire off of him. But Chris had a strong grip around his neck. Finn brought his head forward and snagged his teeth onto the hood of Christopher's jacket, then yanked back with all his might. This action managed to pull the vampire off of him, with enough force to sling Christopher a few good feet away.
It gave Finn enough time to scramble to his feet and face the vampire once again. Blood flowed from the punctures on his shoulder, staining his brown fur and dripping down his leg and onto the ground. He pulled his lips back in another threatening snarl, baring his teeth and glaring at Christopher with fiery orange eyes.
The werewolf thought about rushing at his opponent once more, but was weary, as the vampire could easily just throw him again. He had to calculate the best way to attack; which wasn't exactly easy, given his adrenaline and subconscious reluctance to fight. So he stalked forward, slowly, like a panther, growling...and keeping his orange eyes locked onto Christopher's green as he approached.

π―ππΎππππΉπ½ππΆππ β (askdsjd this needs a lil more drama so I'm gonna do a dumb plot thing, let me know if you'd rather take it a different direction) Zack wasn't expecting to hear those words from Brin, but that made him blush for real. "Y-you're welcome." he stammered. When she turned away his gaze lingered on her for a moment. Y'know, she really is quite pretty, the thought came unbidden to his mind. Her hair was long and two-toned, pleasing to the sense of aesthetic.
He followed her line of sight to the moon, shining bright in the night sky. "It sure is." he agreed. But something about it triggered a warning signal in his brain. It took him a few seconds to realize just what was wrong, but when he did, a jolt of panic shot through him.
It was a full moon.
How did he never realize it? And Spencer, too? They always paid attention to the moon's cycle, and planned trips for the full moon. He supposed they'd just been too busy lately to notice the date was approaching. But what a terrible mistake to make! It was a miracle he hadn't turned yet!
He had to get out of here like, right now, before Brin saw him turn into a wolf. "Oh, shit." he cursed as he jumped to his feet and fumbled for his bookbag. "I just remembered something really important, I have to go right now." He threw the bag over his shoulder and glanced at Brinley, a regretful look in his eye. "I'm sorry to leave you like this, but I promise you I don't have a choice. Um...please be safe, okay?" And with that, he started to run.(I'm not planning for the scene to end here btw, unless you want it to)

( π―ππΎππππΉπ½ππΆππ β gotcha !! ) .samael. Samael quickly caught onto Adelaide's suggestive tone, raising his eyebrow and a real smile pricking at his lips. "Oh yeah? Where would you like to head off to?" He was hoping that she'd want to head out somewhere... remote... somewhere where nobody could hear her screams. But that was likely not going to happen. Sigh. Guess he'll have to do it the old fashioned way... by dragging her into an alley late in the night and, well, proceeding to do his thing. But either way, he had to make this quick. "There's a greasy spoon down the road, if you'd like." Truth be told, there was one nearby, but... not as close as he suggested it to be. Hopefully she fell for it, she seemed like the type to. ( and everyone else i'll get up responses in a sec !! )

She giggled softly at him, still looking up at the moon as he began to speak again once more to her. She couldn't help but notice how handsome he was. Not only because she was drunk, but she genuinely thought he was attracted, especially of how willing he was to to spend his night with total stranger who was drunk. It was very selfless.
'Guess I spoke to soon...' She thought as the words poured out of his mouth, she turned her gaze from the moon to Zack as he jumped to his feet.
"Don't worry about it, I'll be okay. I should be sobering up here soon." She murmured softly as she watched him beginning to run away. She sighed softly wondering what she had done to make him want to leave so quickly after he was so insistent on staying with her. She watched him as he continued running, and she then began to get up and follow behind him slowly, making sure he wouldn't notice her.

α΄α΄ΚΚα΄α΄α΄α΄Ιͺα΄Christopher somehow managed to keep the giant wolf's legs from flailing him around as he kept himself firmly anchored to its shoulder, but he wasn't prepared for Finn's teeth. Suddenly he was ripped away, and then he felt a weightless sensation as his body soared through the air only to crash on the ground a few yards away. He groaned at the impact, but didn't waste any time rolling back to gain his footing. When he stood, however, the wolf was already coming closer, snarling. Moonlight reflected off its deadly fangs, and he could already see the blood pouring from its shoulder, the wound he inflicted.
He stared with eyes widened, bright and flashing with fear, into the werewolf's orange. How did it come to this? he thought. He had quite liked Finn. But the cute boy at the party was gone, and instead the enemy of Christopher's kind stood in his place.
"I don't want to fight you." The words tumbled out of his mouth before he could think about them. True, he would rather run away and leave the boy unscathed than fight him. Though admittedly it was already a little late for that, if the bleeding bite wound was any indication. All the same, Christopher wasn't a violent man.
He only did what he had to.

β½Boopβ½You don't want to fight me? Finn halted, his ears perking up in surprise. Was the vampire just saying this to spare himself? Because Finn recalled that Christopher had been the one to attack, rushing at him after Finn witnessed what he had done. And then there was the bite on his shoulder. Those events didn't quite help the vampire's case. But if he was telling the truth, then...
I don't want to fight you either...The werewolf's ears folded back, and he retreated a step. Mentally, he berated himself for backing down. Christopher was a vampire, the enemy of his kind. If Finn's pack were witnessing his hesitation right now, they would have clouted him on the head. But there was something about Christopher's countenance that made Finn stop. Perhaps the vampire simply wanted to talk. Or maybe barter for his life.
Well if they were going to talk, they wouldn't be able to do it while Finn was in wolf form. He was reluctant to shift, however, because that would make him vulnerable again. But if Christopher tried to run or do anything suspicious, then he supposed that he could always change back, though he was weaker now because of his shoulder. It was risky...but maybe worth it.
The familiar light crept over his form, outlining him in the darkness of the forest. It swelled while his body shrank, and when the light disappeared, Finn was on his hands and knees in the mud, once again in his human form. He winced as he got to his feet, and blood seeped from his shoulder and through his clothes.
"If you don't want to f-fight..." He stammered, placing a hand over his wounded shoulder and eyeing Christopher suspiciously. He remained in a wary stance, as if ready to run or shift again at any moment, despite the fact that pain was visible on his face. "Then...why did you attack me? Why were you at that party? W-were-were you going to attack the humans? Tell the truth!"

π―ππΎππππΉπ½ππΆππ β As Zack jogged, he tried to push Brinley from his mind and instead form a plan about what to do. He couldn't risk calling Spencer; who knew if she had already shifted by this point? He winced at the thought of his sister's large wolf form inside the house, probably knocking stuff over and tearing up the carpet.
...Anyway. What he needed to do was go somewhere secluded before anyone saw him shift. He could see an expanse of woods on the other side of the collection of buildings, and decided that's where he needed to head. He crossed the campus at a steady jog, and after a few minutes he could see the trees coming closer in his field of vision. They were just a short dash away, now.
But that's when it started. He tossed his bookbag onto the ground before his body became encased in light. Then he doubled over onto his hands and knees as tawny fur began to cover his body. Soon he had completely transformed, and a giant wolf stood in place of the human male. The wolf was large and muscular, with glinting amber eyes similar to his human form. Before he could stop himself, he tipped his head back, ears flattened against his head, and howled to the moon.
When he was done, he lifted an ear and swiveled it around, searching for an answer. But none came.

α΄α΄ΚΚα΄α΄α΄α΄Ιͺα΄Christopher didn't expect his words to actually stop the wolf from advancing on him. He expected even less that Finn would turn back into a human and start speaking to him. He watched as Finn placed a hand on his bleeding shoulder, and suddenly became hyper-aware of the scarlet liquid...and how its metallic smell permeated the air around them. His breath hitched in his throat as he tried to control the instinctual urge to feed.
Instead he tried to focus on the boy's words. "I...I panicked!" he stammered. "I wanted to make you forget. A vampire's bite can do that. And, um..." He tried to relax his stance, and think of an explanation. The truth wasn't damning, but it may as well be. He doubted Finn would buy it; his reasons were pretty weird and unbelievable. But he couldn't exactly think of a better thing to say.
"I wasn't going to attack the humans. I don't drink directly from them if I can help it, honest. That's why I had the blood packet you saw." He took a deep breath, pushing away the welling desire in his chest at the scent that washed over his nostrils. "I was at the party because...they're mortal. And I'm not. I don't really have a better explanation than that." His muscles tensed, expecting Finn to shift back and attack him again.

β½Boopβ½Finn listened to what Christopher had to say, his expression seeming to relax ever so slightly. It was true about the blood packet. Finn had seen it with his own eyes, though he had been too focused on the fact that Christopher was a vampire than the fact that he hadn't actually attacked any mortals. So it made sense.
Something inside Finn felt weird. It was like a twinge of empathy, that he could somehow relate to Chris in some way. To walk among the humans, but never feel like you can be a part of them. Was that how Christopher was feeling at the party?
His grip tightened over his shoulder in an attempt to apply pressure to the bleeding. It wasn't serious, but Finn knew that he would have to bandage himself up later. But first, he had to know if Christopher was telling the truth...and if he could let this guy go, as traitorous as that would be to his kind.
"How do I...How do I know you're not lying?"

α΄α΄ΚΚα΄α΄α΄α΄Ιͺα΄ Christopher tried to force the tension out of his body. It seemed that Finn was willing to listen at least, though he was reasonably skeptical. He supposed he should thank his lucky stars for that.
As for evidence, well, he didn't really have that. Finn knew about the blood packet, sure, but that didn't explain his admittedly uncanny interest in the mortals and their party. Finn truly had every right to suspect that Christopher was shady. He didn't have any way of proving his sincerity...or did he?
"You don't know that. I don't have anything to serve as proof. You'll just have to...trust me." Even as the words left his mouth, Christopher felt embarrassed to say them. Trust me? That was a silly thought; there was no way Finn could trust him after everything that had happened tonight. His mostly green gaze caught the blood seeping through the boy's fingers and lingered there. He was about to do something risky, he could tell, but maybe...it just might work.
"Say, what if I fix that?" he began, pointing at Finn's shoulder. "Or at least, make the bleeding stop. If I do that without trying anything, will it convince you? That I'm not here to cause harm at least?" The scent was still bothering him, and getting up close would surely make it worse, but at the moment Chris couldn't think of a better way. He'd have to trust that he could suppress his instincts long enough.

She felt a pang in her side as she realized she was moving too fast for her intoxicated body. 'Damn cramps' she cursed silently to herself as she gripped her side abdomen, trying to ease the pain somehow. She grimaced as she continued on behind Zack, though now he was out of her sight and she had no idea which way he had gone.
She stopped and looked around for a moment, glancing over at the buildings of the school and then over towards the fields where she was at. She sighed in frustration not knowing which way he had gone until she looked ahead, glancing at the forest she just felt and urge to search over there. Still gripping her side she lightly jogged over towards the forest line, slowly as she neared them not wanting to alert Zack.
'If he sees me he'll probably think I'm a crazy stalker!" She thought to herself as she neared the tree line.
Still no sign of Zack she pushed herself to go further into the forest, looking around for any signs of him. After a few minutes of searching and almost giving up Brinley heard the small thud of something hitting the ground. She followed in the direction of what she had heard only to stop in her tracks as she heard the howling of a wolf. Moments later she caught sight of the wolf, her jaw dropped and she let out an ear piercing scream.

β½Boopβ½ Trust? How could Finn possibly trust Christopher, when he was a vampire? When Finn's instincts were screaming the exact opposite in his head? He told himself this, yet deep inside, there may have been a small part of him that wanted to trust Chris. Or at least, he didn't want to have to hurt him. Whatever good that would do though, with his wounded shoulder. Speaking of which...
Finn watched as the vampire's gaze moved to the blood that was staining his shirt and jacket. He immediately tensed. "You want to...fix my shoulder?" he asked warily. There was a hint of fear in his green eyes. This was a pretty sketchy offer. But if Chris was being sincere, then it would help Finn greatly. So after a few moments of hesitation, the werewolf gave a small sigh. "I...guess you can. But if you try anything, I'll...I'll...well, you know what I'll do."

π―ππΎππππΉπ½ππΆππ β Zack had listened for an answer to his call, but none came. Concern began to prickle at his mind, but he didn't have much time to worry about it, as a new sound pierced his eardrums. A human scream, a lot closer than he would have expected. He whipped his head around in the direction of the noise and saw someone familiar. Brinley?! Did she follow him here? She was looking right at him; clearly he was the reason she had screamed. I should have checked to make sure I wasn't being followed, he mentally berated himself. Did she see me shift?
Truth be told, seeing her there scared him. He was afraid of his secret being discovered, and he was afraid of what would happen to her out here. He could feel the Zack part of his mind ebbing away at the stress of the situation, allowing the werewolf-ish instincts to gain control. He shook his head angrily, a growl escaping his throat. I have to run away before something bad happens. But it was suddenly too late.
Snarling and growling, he slowly advanced towards her, the rational part of his mind all but gone.
(aksdjs urrrgg I'm not entirely happy with this response but it's the best I can do for right now)

α΄α΄ΚΚα΄α΄α΄α΄Ιͺα΄Christopher nodded silently. You know what I'll do. Right. He would shift back and rip Christopher to shreds. Sure he was weakened from his shoulder, but Chris didn't doubt the power the smaller man still had. He gulped. Suppress your instincts, above all else, he told himself. ...If you value your life.
"Okay, follow me then." He said in a level tone as he began to walk back the way they came. "I should have medical supplies in my car." It certainly paid to be best friends with a doctor. Just one of many things I need to thank her for. he thought. The near-constant supply of blood packets, access to medical supplies, and well of good advice to get Chris out of situations like this. Not that he's ever run into a problem quite like now.
(Sorry it's a little short)

β½Boopβ½ pfft, that's not short in my book.) Finn wasn't quite sure why Christopher would have medical supplies in his car, but he supposed that he must have gotten it at the same place he got the blood packet. So he followed after Christopher, trying to keep in a slow, steady walk behind him. There was no way he was going to walk in front of the vampire. So he stayed behind with a watchful eye.
"We'll have to be careful," Finn called out after a few moments. "The others at the party saw us." Or at least, they saw Finn. In his wolf form. "They might be in a panic...." He felt a pang in his chest at mentioning it. He hadn't meant to frighten them. But chasing after Chris was something that he felt like he had to do at the time.
When they got to the edge of the trees, Finn could see that the yard across the street was strangely empty. The music from the party was still audible from inside the house, but noticeably not as loud as before. Was the party still going on? Even still, they couldn't afford to stick around.
"We can't stay here for very long," Finn said, turning to Chris. "If they see us, they'll ask questions. You should fix my shoulder somewhere else."
