(I have a small idea, but we don't have to do that if you don't want to.
Since Anthony is a human, perhaps he could be targeted by a vampire? And maybe the vampire is another student? The vampire is starved for blood, and tries to attack Anthony, and perhaps Daniel is nearby and has to save him. That's all I could really think of at the moment ^^; )

( α΄α΄ΚΚα΄α΄α΄α΄Ιͺα΄ ) His footsteps echoed as his feet padded through the now silent city streets. Hot breaths escaped his mouth, swirling upwards into the cold, almost biting fall air. Anthony was walking. Walking from the store, to grab some food his teenage system said it desperately needed. Which pretty much consisted of weird flavours of ramen and junk food. That was his craving, and there was nothing at his house, so... he went out and got some. All he was really thinking about right now was how much he wanted a car. The air was cold, crisp, and bit at his exposed skin. I mean, he had a license, but... not enough money yet to get a car. Probably because he spent his money on weird flavours of ramen and junk food, but he begs to digress. Moments passed by, and he was within his own thoughts. But soon, he could feel something. Two somethings, actually, as he walked past dark alleyway after dark alleyway. And they felt like eyes. That made his footsteps move faster, as he could feel them burning into his back. He was remembering from his time in the New York City area, where he was told to never go out after dark. There were some mighty bad people out there. All he thought of it was it was bullshit, he knew friends who snuck out all the time and they didn't get into any trouble. At least, from what they've told him. But this town was new, and presented new dangers, so in that moment he wished he had listened to that advice. Anthony was walking. But he wasn't the only one. His breaths got sharper, shorter, more and more panicked as he heard something echo behind him. Little did he know he was being targeted by something... something which he, even in his wildest nightmares, would never have even imagined was real. Anthony was walking. And soon, he was running. ( OOF THIS IS BAD SORRY )

( bullets Aw, your fine!) Daniel took the long way home from baseball practice that day, preferring to walk through a small section of town rather than going straight to his house. He swung his bat over his shoulder, nonchalantly thumping it against his back as he walked down the sidewalk. Dark alleyways and hole-in-the-wall convenience stores loomed into view, and he kept walking, silently enjoying the autumn air.
Eventually he stopped to sit at a bench that stood under one of the scenic trees that lined the roads. Luckily, this part of Bleakridge was pretty quiet compared to the rest of the city. Daniel didn't like the daily buzzing of people as they came and went; but at night, all of that noise disappeared, and he felt like he could relax out here.
But it soon became apparent that he wasn't alone. The sound of footsteps caused him to naturally turn his head in the direction of where they were coming from. And there he saw another teen, walking weirdly fast. Daniel felt like he vaguely remembered the boy, assuming they must have shared a class at school or something. Did his name start with an A? Maybe? Oh well.
Daniel's green eyes hardened when the teen suddenly broke into a run. Why the hell was this other kid running? The sound of a second pair of footsteps rang in his ears, and though he couldn't see the other person, he had his suspicions on what might be going on. Sighing, he grabbed his baseball bat and reluctantly rose from the bench. Then he turned and walked in the direction of Anthony, his eyes now sparking with determination.

Anthony ran as fast as his smaller legs could take him, his heart pounding in his chest as his bag of food was dropped, Anthony more focusing on getting away from this person behind him than he was on the food.
It was then that he looked up, and he saw, a several yards away, someone with what appeared to be a... baseball bat. Shit. He could feel his heart stop. But he had to keep going. So he did.
And soon, the footsteps behind him stopped for just a moment... before he felt a massive weight coming from behind him and a shooting pain rippled up through his body- coming from his neck.
Letting out a scream of agony as his skin was ripped from his body, the weight of the person (?) forcing him to the ground, he squirmed around, his eyes wide as unimaginable pain tore through his fragile soul. He was trying his best to get away, as best he can, his mouth letting out the most blood-curdling noises he's ever heard. Scarlet blood pooled and painted the sidewalk he was previously standing on just a few moments earlier as he felt his strength begin to fade. His movements against the being began to get weaker and weaker, his voice becoming hoarse... and all he could think about, in that moment, was... was he going to see the light of day again?

It was then that Daniel finally saw the teen's assailant. A vampire. He could feel an inhuman growl rumbling deep in his chest, and he quickened his pace. Anger flashed within him when the vampire suddenly lunged at the teen, sinking its teeth into his neck as it pinned him to the ground.
Not a moment later Daniel was there. He took his bat in both of his hands, raised his arms up high, and brought the weapon crashing down onto the vampire's head with a loud 'thwak!'. While it certainly wouldn't be enough to kill the superhuman beast, a force like that would at least send it reeling. "Get back!" Daniel yelled at Anthony, glancing back at the teen only for a second before fixing his enraged glare on the vampire. The inhuman growl was now rising from his chest to his throat, threatening to spill over along with his emotions.
In a place like Bleakridge, Daniel supposed he should have expected things to escalate like this pretty quickly. He didn't know whether the other teen had enough strength to get himself to safety, or if he was even conscious right now. Something inside Daniel told him that he couldn't just leave a human like this to suffer. Especially if they were left at the mercy of a filthy blood-sucker.

( α΄α΄ΚΚα΄α΄α΄α΄Ιͺα΄ ) As Anthony lay there, finding himself unable to move without experiencing extreme pain, hearing the strange man bash the person's head in, he could hear the person shrieking as they tried to get away. Good, he thought, though his head was becoming, feeling, more and more like static by the second. He felt woozy, and though he tried to get up, and get away, he couldn't do so without the pain that came with. But he had to. So he tried. At least he tried. But, as he frantically dragged his body against the pavement, it all went black. The person, now revealed to be a vampire, held their head in agony as their eyes looked at the man in front of him with pure rage... before looking down at the teen laying like a corpse on the ground, letting out that... lovely... sweet... scarlet... metallic... BLOOD! The vampire, they couldn't help themself. Dodging the man, the vampire attempted to go straight for the throat. They were hungry, so hungry, hungry hungry hungry- HUNGRY!!!

bullets Daniel swung his bat over his head and brought it down onto the vampire again, but this time he missed. Damn. The vampire was going straight for the other boy, and Daniel could see that the teen was in fact unconscious, and wouldn't be able to defend himself against the feral beast.
The bat wasn't going to work anymore, it seemed. He tossed it away, the metal clanging against the concrete sidewalk almost forebodingly. To properly fight a beast, you had to become a beast.
Daniel crouched down on all fours, a flash of light outlining his features as his body grew taller. The light swelled into a bright glow, and when it disappeared, Daniel had become a giant wolf. Trying not to waste any time, the wolf charged the vampire, his large jaws snapping, aiming straight for the vampire's throat. He hoped that he would at least be able to drive the vermin away, if not just kill it outright, and that no one else would show up while he did so.

( α΄α΄ΚΚα΄α΄α΄α΄Ιͺα΄ im lov this Drama 'v' ) Seeing this flash of light in their peripheral vision, the vampire gasped audibly, their hands, previously grasping the delicious teen, dropped all that they were holding. "Motherf-" The vampire was cut off as they scrambled to get away, afraid of the giant beast before them. Their head was throbbing, heart pounding, and so utterly scared. They ran like the coward they were, trying their best to get away before anything worse than a baseball hit to the head happened to them... but not before they tried to take the teen with them. Lifting the kid over their shoulders, they ran like hell. They ran as fast as their long, elegant legs could take them. They knew that this was a bad idea, and that this was going to get them killed, but they were so hungry.... that it didn't really matter what happened to them. As long as they got their little snack in.

( bullets lol, same) Daniel's teeth once again missed the vampire, and his tail lashed angrily as a growl echoed from his mouth and through the air around them. He was hoping to make this quick, but it seemed that the vermin wanted to dance with him, desperately clinging onto life. He swiveled his head around to see that the vampire was scooping the teen up and trying to get away with him.
Oh no you don't! Daniel's large paws pounded against the concrete after them. He figured leaping at the vampire would be a bad idea, because that would send the teen sprawling on the hard ground, and he probably couldn't suffer more injuries at this point. Daniel had to think quickly and carefully about what he should do.
So when the wolf finally caught up to them, he clamped his jaws down onto the vampire's leg, and bit hard. Hopefully it would at least get the fiend to stop in his tracks.

( α΄α΄ΚΚα΄α΄α΄α΄Ιͺα΄ ) The vampire let out another shriek of pain as the wolf's jaws clamped tight against their calf. This time it hurt far worse, and in a far different way than being thwacked in the head with a baseball bat. This pain hurt more, and hurt in a sharper way. Dropping the kid, the vampire hissed at the wolf and attempted to get away. This was not going to end well, they knew. So they had to get away as soon as possible, before they were killed by this rabid beast after them. Tearing their leg out from the wolf's jaws with another screech, they attempted to run but were reduced to a mere limp. This was so embarrassing... and so frustrating. All they wanted was a little snack!! They were so hungry as well...

bulletsDaniel would have given chase, seeing as how the vampire could only limp at this point, but there was an injured victim here who would be left all alone otherwise. So he let the vampire go, glaring after it for a few moments before turning back to the unconscious teen.
The glow once again outlined his body, this time shrinking him until he was back in his human form, crouching on all fours. He straightened himself and stood upright. Then he turned and ran in the direction of the other boy, kneeling down beside him on the ground.
"Hey!" said Daniel, leaning over the teen to see if he was okay. Since the teen was unconscious, there was no response. Daniel didn't like the amount of blood that was currently pooling from his neck and staining the sidewalk. Great. He might have to give the other boy some medical attention, which he had no idea how to do.
He took the other boy's face in one hand and lightly smacked his cheek three times. He hoped the boy would wake up. If he didn't, then Daniel supposed he would have to try and take him to a hospital or something. And if he did wake up, well...what if he didn't remember anything that just happened? Vampires had the ability to alter the memories of their victims after biting them, but they only did it if they planned to keep their victim alive. This vampire had seemed intent on killing, probably too starved of blood to care. So Daniel waited, just to see if the teen would wake up before deciding on what he would do.

bulletsJulian paused in his seemingly perpetual glass-cleaning to steal a glance at the customer. It wasn't exactly rare or anything for patrons to ask him questions like that, given the nature of his job, but he adored the attention all the same. If he had a chance to talk about himself and his life, he would gladly take up the offer. And with current stillness and quiet of the bar, he could already feel the stress of the last crowd melting away from him. The Stressed Busy Julian could become the Chill Suave Julian again, as was meant to be. "Do you mean here, or...my personal life?" One corner of his lips lifted up in a slight smirk.
(asdkasjd it takes me a while to get into character for Julian)

Zack allowed a small smile to grace his lips, mostly to be friendly. "Well, er, it's nice to meet you, Brin. And behavioral science is pretty interesting. Though I'm not particularly good at science, haha." He chuckled softly before his eyes widened in surprise. "Oh! And I'm Zachary Hughes. I go here too. As you can see, baseball is my passion. That's pretty much all there is to know about me." He kept the smile on his face, specifically not mentioning the fact that he was a werewolf. Though it wasn't something that particularly affected his everyday life. Just go somewhere far away on nights of the full moon, and keep your emotions in check always. That's all.
His phone buzzed again, and he picked it up to see another message from Spencer. 'If you ditched takeout night to go hook up I'll dismember you' Zack couldn't help but snort, as a blush crept up his cheeks. That was a classic Spencer move, there. But he knew his little sister better than anyone, and he knew she didn't mean it. He typed back 'You act like I really do that. Anyway I'm serious, talk later'
He sent it and put his phone back down again. "Don't mind me." he said casually to Brin. Brin, huh? She was quite pretty, though she also looked quite tired and drunk. He wondered why he'd never noticed her around campus before. Perhaps he'd just never crossed paths with her. Shame.

Brinley smiled slightly as she quietly watched Zack on his phone. She continued to lay her head down against her knees and just gaze over at him. Zack was handsome to say the least, but in her drunken haze, there was just something about him that made her feel comfortable enough to just sit with him there, even though she had just met him and learned his name a few minutes ago.
She smiled sheepishly as she saw his cheeks flush a light pink after reading his text, 'Must be his girlfriend...' She thought to herself as she watched him quickly type a response back.
"Oh no, don't worry about it. I'm finding your company in my drunken stupor to be quite nice." She said excitedly as she rubbed her eyes, trying to rub away the sleepiness she felt. She then paused for a few moments thinking to herself, " But, if you have prior engagements, or to get back to your girlfriend I totally understand. So please don't feel as if you have to sit here and babysit a drunk college kid that doesn't know how to control her liquor. "

He really just wanted to be nice; he couldn't turn a blind eye to someone lost and intoxicated. His conscience wouldn't allow it, no matter what Brin said.
And it really was at no cost to him. The night was his friend, after all.

( α΄α΄ΚΚα΄α΄α΄α΄Ιͺα΄ ) For what felt like a second there, Anthony was floating in darkness. Then, suddenly, he was shot back to life, his eyes opening with a reluctance to them, pain aching through his cheek and cascading through his body. "Shiiiiiiitttttt...." He groaned, his body feeling heavy and groggy. The hell even happened? His mind was fuzzy, the pain he was feeling beginning to come back to him. It was then that he noticed that someone was actually standing above him. "Oh-!" He exclaimed, trying to move away but found it too agonizing to do so. Letting out a loud hiss, he soon noticed the blood pooling around him, spreading at a slower rate than before. "What even happened..." He said to himself. She listened to him quietly, waiting patiently as she looked around the baseball field and up at the moon appreciating its beauty. " The moon sure is beautiful tonight" She added as she peered over at him, noticing how the moonlight reflected his eyes. 'Handsome indeed.' she thought to herself as she smiled slightly at him. bullets It's all good! If you want to take the plot in a different way, just let me know ^^ ) Daniel leaned away a bit when he saw that the other boy was waking up. It seemed that the boy didn't quite recall what was going on. He sighed, looking at the ground for a few moments while he gathered his thoughts on what to say.
"You were...attacked," Daniel said gruffly. There probably wasn't enough time for him to explain to the other about the existence of vampires and werewolves. First things first, he had to make sure the other kid didn't die on him. "You've got some punctures in your neck." he added, pointing to his own neck for reference. "Got any bandages or something? We have to stop the bleeding." Daniel figured he would probably have to run to a nearby store and buy some quick first-aid supplies. Taking the other boy to the hospital would probably be risky, given that it would be up to Daniel to explain what had happened.

( α΄α΄ΚΚα΄α΄α΄α΄Ιͺα΄ gotcha !! ) "Wha?" Attacked...?" He had hoped he had heard the him right, because Anthony could hardly make out what the other was saying. Kinda was because of the static in his brain, kinda was because of the blood in his ears. But he could make out some of it. The rest of the other's speech was a jumbled mess, but he could make out the words bandages and bleeding. One of which he didnt have, the other... well... didn't sound very good. "I don't... shit..." He groaned in pain, it starting to really come back to him. "I don't have any... bandages...?" He had hoped that was the word the other had used. His mind was still reeling from the pain, and still trying to wrap its way around the fact he was attacked... ( β½Boopβ½ ) "Doesn't really matter to me." Sarah spoke, flashing a soft smile at him. "Anyone you choose." She didn't mind, as long as there was some gentle small talk happening. She, a loud girl, didn't like the silence that often came with her... way of life. Well, scratch that, actually, she didn't like silence at all. Any and all of it she hated. So this was what was driving her to inquire about this bartender's day. bullets "Hmmm." Daniel sat back for a bit, his expression calculating. He couldn't abandon this other boy, even if protecting him had been a slight inconvenience for him. He supposed that he would need to administer some medical help, in one way or another. Well, at least he knew some of the basics of first-aid. When he made his mind up, he gave another sigh and leaned forward again.
"We've gotta stop this bleeding," he repeated with a flat tone. "Here, put some pressure on it." He took the other boy's hand and placed it over the wound on his neck. Obviously it wouldn't help, but it was better than doing nothing until Daniel got some bandages. "Can you stand?"

(Truuu but I've been leaning on that crutch for a while and I miss our boyssss)
Christopher's feet pounded across the forest floor as he dashed forward like his life depended on it (which it did). He could hear the screaming of mortals, the screeching of tires on pavement. The mortals saw something; the situation had gotten worse than Chris thought. Soon he heard the thumping of large paws giving chase, and he realized his mistake.
The werewolf was much faster than him. There was no 'getting away', it wasn't in the equation anymore. The deep, guttural growl behind him gave proof of that. So if he didn't want to get ripped apart in a coward's death, there was only one option. A vampire's strength matches a werewolf.
He skidded to a stop and immediately whipped around to face the giant wolf tearing towards him. If he were a mortal, adrenaline would be pumping through his veins, giving him strength. But he was a vampire, so he had to rely on his own senses, and the perks that came with being a creature of the night. Crouching into a fighting stance, he let the beast advance on him before he pushed off the ground with his legs, his arms reaching out to grab the wolf around its neck. Using the strength of his arms and his body weight, he pushed the wolf onto its back.
I don't want to do this. I'm sorry! The pang of regret flashed through his mind before he bared his fangs and sank them into fur-covered flesh, right at the wolf's shoulder. He didn't drink, as that wasn't his intention. Right then he was fighting; a desperate attempt at keeping his second life.

π―ππΎππππΉπ½ππΆππ β (askdsjd this needs a lil more drama so I'm gonna do a dumb plot thing, let me know if you'd rather take it a different direction) Zack wasn't expecting to hear those words from Brin, but that made him blush for real. "Y-you're welcome." he stammered. When she turned away his gaze lingered on her for a moment. Y'know, she really is quite pretty, the thought came unbidden to his mind. Her hair was long and two-toned, pleasing to the sense of aesthetic.
He followed her line of sight to the moon, shining bright in the night sky. "It sure is." he agreed. But something about it triggered a warning signal in his brain. It took him a few seconds to realize just what was wrong, but when he did, a jolt of panic shot through him.
It was a full moon.
How did he never realize it? And Spencer, too? They always paid attention to the moon's cycle, and planned trips for the full moon. He supposed they'd just been too busy lately to notice the date was approaching. But what a terrible mistake to make! It was a miracle he hadn't turned yet!
He had to get out of here like, right now, before Brin saw him turn into a wolf. "Oh, shit." he cursed as he jumped to his feet and fumbled for his bookbag. "I just remembered something really important, I have to go right now." He threw the bag over his shoulder and glanced at Brinley, a regretful look in his eye. "I'm sorry to leave you like this, but I promise you I don't have a choice. Um...please be safe, okay?" And with that, he started to run.(I'm not planning for the scene to end here btw, unless you want it to)
bullets "Well, then." Julian's tone grew noticeably relaxed at that. He continued wiping down the glass as he began speaking. "My sister called me this morning-we're twins, you know-and she's trying to pick out costumes for some Halloween party with our old graduating class. She's just dying to be a matching pair and I totally get that, but she wants to do something like twin fairies and...that's cute I guess, but I'd rather do something like an incubus and succubus. It'd be a lot more eye-catching, you know? If we're not the most attractive guests, then what's the point?"
And he kept going. "And then I was at the grocery store and I ran into my ex. Who would've thought! Well this happens often actually; I have a lot of exes but eh, who's counting? But anyway this one wanted to get back together and they were so gorgeous I almost took them back right then and there, but then another ex walked by! And-you won't believe this-" His grey eyes began to shine with excitement; he could barely suppress his grin. "It turns out they were also exes with each other! And both of them proposed that we all start over on a fresh page and go on a group date together. The offer was really tempting, but then I remembered the reason I broke up with them in the first place and just walked away." He shook his head as a small chuckle escaped his lips. "It was...an interesting experience, to be sure. But I suppose not altogether uncommon."
"And then there were those customers from earlier. Today really has been something." He set down the glass and propped his elbows on the counter, cradling his cheeks in his palms. His bright gaze illuminated his features as he looked into the audience's dark eyes. "And what about you? You certainly seem like the type to have all kinds of adventures."
(An average day in the life of Julian, lmao. I just kinda let improv flow with this one)
