It wasn't long before shew as being squeezed a bit and promised that everything would be fine. But what if everything wasn't fine? What would happen then? Even still, Faye had been very trustworthy up until this point, and nothing had changed. Right now, she had no reason not to trust the white-haired woman when she said something would be fine. She'd promised safety and freedom, and so far she had received. So she gave a slow nod. She was right - she hadn't been let down yet. There was no reason not to trust that meeting her parents wouldn't go just as smoothly as everything else had so far.
So as her plate was taken away, Tanja simply watched her. Soon enough she was holding out her hand for the taking, and she did. She stood up from her chair, taking a moment to just stabilize herself before looking at the other wolf expectantly. Meeting other wolves was... Well, it was against training. But this wasn't about training anymore, was it? No, her training didn't matter here. She wasn't a guard dog anymore, so did it matter? Sure it did, it was drilled into her to just be hostile for years. But at the same time, she didn't have to be.

(Sorry Ive been prepping for my show and I just for some reason couldnt get a reply for Faye up but my muse is following again lol) After the other wolf had taken her hand and smiled happily and guided her up the stairs and down the hall to another room and this is where her parents were waiting. Once entering there was the same man from outside, tall, over bearing presence, thick beard. He looked like someone who had worked his whole life. He was perched on the edge of a desk leaning back in a relaxed manner. The mother on the other hand was sitting in a chair near the desk seated very properly, her dark hair falling down her shoulders and the same blue gaze Faye had locked on to the two girl who now stood in the room. "So this is the new wolf." She said, her voice was soft and gentle like Faye's it was clear who Faye took after personality wise. Faye nodded, "Yes, this in Tanja, I came across her at work. She was being used as a guard dog by some rich man. Shock collar and everything." She said, her face hardening in anger. "What did you do to get her out?" The father piped in, his voice rough and low. "Well, I went to his house after getting him very drunk and then I scared him a little and Tanja left a wound but nothing more than that, and we broke some things to make it look like his pet wolf snapped or something." She said with a shrug. Both sighed, and shook their heads. "You really must be more careful Faye. We fight every day to stay hidden and you big heart could earn us some trouble." The mother said looking over at Tanja. "Now, Tanja. If you are going to live here you must be acclimated to pack life. There will be no attacking our wolves or anyone outside from her on out." She said looking to her husband who simply nodded in agreement. "If you step out of line you will be let go and left to fend for yourself. We do not tolerate misconduct." The dark haired woman said, "A pack is a strong as our weakest member. So make sure you are not weak." Faye squeezed Tanja's hand a bit, to let her know it was okay, she was sure the young wolf was getting nervous. "She won't do anything wrong, I'll show her how things work and be responsible for anything that happens." She said smiling at the girl for a moment. "But this means she can stay right." Her eyes turned to her father and he cleared his throat and nodded, waving the two girls away. This is her dad This is her mom

its fine! No stress my dude, life happens c:
---
She followed the white-haired woman, taking in her surroundings as they went. It was a very nice house... It looked lived in. She liked that it looked lived in. It made her feel like she would actually be able to interact with her environment without any repercussions. It wasn't long before she found herself entering a room with two other wolves inside. Alphas, judging by the scent they gave off. She recognized the man from earlier, but the woman was new. She looked like she'd just come out of some meeting, giving off an air of permanent grace. It wasn't intimidating per se, but it also wasn't as if she felt like she could act out. Not that she would, but still.
As the new woman began to speak, Tanja just kind of stood there and listened. She listened to how they spoke of her rescue. Even just the mention of the events caused her to tense up, so much so that it was likely visible. Still, she remained still, listening as the conversation ensued. It was only when the woman addressed her that she finally looked over to her more properly. Right. No attacks. She only did that on command, so surely it wouldn't be an issue... save for the hostility training. But if she learned to talk like Faye wanted, then she could just tell the others to leave her alone right?
Sure. She'd go with that for now.
The wolf nodded in what she assumed would be taken as agreement. When Faye spoke up again, she looked up at her expectantly. Was this it? It had been made very clear that she would be staying here now. So... Now what? What was she meant to do in a pack? How did packs even work? It had been a little over ten years since she'd had a pack... She couldn't even remember that she'd been part of one.

(Alright here is another recap, I got into an accident because someone ran me off the road and I almost hit a cement pole and Im now going to physical therapy for my back shoulder and neck and then I got A's on all my finals so something went well for me lol but everything is good now and Im done for the next three months ! woooo!! lol ) Faye grinned widely at both her parents and pulled Tanja gently out of the room once they were dismissed. Everything went very smoothly with her parents but only time would tell how well the other wolf would do in the pack setting. For now though it would just be the two of them at least till she learned to use her words that way if something made her feel threatened at least she'd be able to say something rather than lash out. That wouldn't sit well with the Alphas or the rest of pack. Of course members fought sometimes but she was new and that was basically probation till she was able to prove her place in the pack. "Well that went really well! My parents both don't mind you being here. But we will have to get you up and walking properly and speaking as well. Once we do that I can teach you the rules of the pack! But don't worry the rules aren't that bad just there to keep everyone safe." The white haired girl smiled happily, "Lets go back to my room and we can get working on your speech okay! After a little bit you and I cant go have some fun in the woods around the house!" So after everything was done the girls would go in wolf form and go for a bit of a run and have some fun after all, working for the whole day wouldn't be fun and then learning would become a chore for Tanja and she wanted her to be happy here.

So after everything was done the girls would go in wolf form and go for a bit of a run and have some fun after all, working for the whole day wouldn't be fun and then learning would become a chore for Tanja and she wanted her to be happy here. The lupine followed easily, not really minding the guidance. It’s not like she knew where she was going anyhow. And she trusted the other, so everything would surely be fine. So long as she didn’t have to meet anybody else today, everything would be fine. It wasn’t that meeting her parents had been a bad experience, but she knew that she wouldn’t be well with other wolves. Or even just people, for that matter. She knew what she was capable of from the training that had been beat into her. On top of that, she didn’t know what kind of lineage she’d come from. What kind of things had been repressed in her memory from when she’d had her own pack. Well, if she had her own pack. As Faye began to speak, the chocolate skinned girl nodded. She was doing rather well with walking, or she thought she was anyway. And working on speech could be fun... maybe. She couldn’t remember a time that she could talk. Then again, she couldn’t remember a time that she had human limbs either. So she followed the white haired woman faithfully, drinking in the sight of the wall as around her as they went. It was much better than the house she’d been rescued from. The idea of going out and having fun was also nice. Nice enough to bring a little grin to her face.

Tanja followed her faithfully, though when they got to the room she seated herself on the floor. Being in the furniture was still a bit odd for her, and the carpet was rather soft. So she didn’t really mind being on the floor right now. Listening as the other lupine spoke, she found herself vaguely examining her legs. They were odd. Long, nearly hairless limbs. Her arms were the same. While there was hair, it was nothing like the fur she was used to. And now she had to take on the aspect of speaking... being human was a lot of work. Or at least, it seemed that way right now.
Being told speaking used the same parts as barking and howling and the like was a revelation. Nodding slowly, she finally looked up at Faye, simply watching her speak. She made it look easy... so she had to muster up some sound and copy her movements right? That’s what it seemed like. Her mouth moved and those sounds followed naturally. So she just had to try it. Right. Yeah, she got this. She could pretty much walk now, so she had to work on this now too. The last word she’d said seemed to be the easiest. “B.... B-bed-fore...” The word came out broken, and her voice was quiet and hesitant. The sounds weren’t entirely correct, thought it was better than nothing, she supposed.
