The canine let herself in through the window, moving much slower as compared to several moments ago. Honestly, despite how tired she was, she still felt better than she had in years. Listening as the bartender spoke, she drew in the scents of the room around her. It smelled like her, which was nice, but it was still odd for her. A little overwhelming, even. Still, it was better than the businessman's house. His house didn't smell like anything - it was sterile like a hospital.
The color scheme was nice, and it looked lived in. It was a big change, much like the rest of the day was, but it wasn't unwelcome. When the woman said she could look around, Tanja took to walking around the room slowly, stopping occasionally to sniff at some of the furniture. It wasn't long until she'd made it up to where Faye's bed was. It looked nice, though she wasn't allowed on the furniture. The thought arose in her mind as it was something that had been ingrained within her by now. She also had dry blood matted in her fur. So, she laid down next to the bed, laying her head on her paws in front of her. It wouldn't take long for her to fall asleep like this.

To say she was timid was likely an understatement. She'd become so used to punishment that she was afraid to do anything that she hadn't been trained to do. She was more afraid to do something without clear instruction. Sure, the white-haired woman said what was hers was practically her own now, but that didn't do much to change her mentality. It would take much more than that simple statement to do so. Still, when she said that tomorrow she could get on the bed, the wolf's ears perked. The petting was nice as well... gentle. Soothing. It helped her fall asleep feeling something... Safe? Perhaps that was the word for it.
In the morning, Tanja woke to the sound of chirping birds and sunlight trying to pierce her vision. The sun was warm on her face, and the feeling of the soft blanket below her was wonderful. The sensations were either lulling her back to sleep, or trying to welcome her into the waking world. She went with the latter, eyes fluttering open to stare out of the window. Bright - a little too bright. However, it was still nice. It was nice to know she was in a safe space with somebody who actually cared about well being. Lifting her head, she looked down at the floor as she prepared to stretch. Everything seemed normal.
And then she saw it.
Something between a shriek and a yelp left her mouth as she scrambled awkwardly, backing herself up into a corner as she stared at her limbs in clear panic. Where was her fur? Her paws? Were those hands? Feet? Was her skin supposed to be this dark? Eyes wide, all she could do was stare at herself with both her arms and legs outstretched before her as she began to hyperventilate.

/I would love to live there tbh/
The fact that she was, at the moment, completely naked wasn't what bothered her. No, it was the fact that she'd acquired a new body overnight. Well, no, it was more the fact that she had a new body and this most definitely was not a dream. She wasn't sure what to do with herself other than fly into a straight panic. These weren't her limbs. This wasn't her skin, and she was severely lacking in fur. She was skinny - ribs showing easily. Surprisingly, she still had some muscle about her, but not as much as she should. Normally she was the very definition of the phrase 'thicc thighs' and easily looked as though she could deadlift twice her weight. Right now, however, this was not the case. Surely something was wrong right now. Eyes that were so dark they looked black flew up to look at Faye as she spoke. Calm down? What did she mean calm down? Something was clearly wrong here!
As she spoke, Tanja couldn't help but just stare at her. Yes, she remembered when she had said they were the same. She remembered being in awe when she had shifted. As she held her hands out, she only stared at her then back to her face. As she spoke about her health getting better and the businessman, she relaxed a little more. Okay. That sounded... Well, it didn't sound right, but she liked the idea of getting better. With her last statement, the girl nodded slowly, gently placing her hands in Faye's own. If she said that's what it was, then that's what it was.

(I'm trying to sort of do that to my room. Its kind of boho chic with nerdiness cause I love LOTR and HP so my posters are decorations and I'm going to buy fake plants to wrap around my bed and stuff its gonna look right my colors and light pink, grey, purple and maroon. With like white wooden and pine wood things it looks nice so far ) Faye gave the girls hands a gentle squeeze and a warm smile. "It will be okay, trust me. I freaked out a little when I turned into a wolf for the first time. But it will get more normal as time goes by." She said, "Now lets get the blood off you and go get some breakfast." She said standing up slowly, give the girl time to move with her. The white haired girl still held her hands not only in case the girl struggled walking this way but just for moral support as well. "I'm here to help you the whole way through okay?" Soon the two had moved to the bathroom which was simply decorated as well, the same color palate as the bed room was but inside of green leafy plants there were flowers in white and pink. She let go of one of her hands and turned on the water in the shower and let it heat up and then turned on the cold to mellow it out. Faye took the girl's hand and put it under the warm water "Is this a good temperature?" The nakedness of the other girl didn't bother her, first they had the same parts, second she was used to this she lived in a pack of wolves. They were naked quite often, but usually brought a change of clothes in a bag they could carry as a wolf. Fay chose a fanny pack, it stayed on her when she shifted.

/ohhh that sounds so nice! when I get my own place idk if I'm going to decorate it properly but I'm gunna buy a lot of succulents!!! cause I like succulents c: /
Tanja could only nod as the other assured her that everything would be fine. If she said so, then surely it was true. How bad could it be if the woman who had helped her escape was still with her? Right? Right. At the mention of breakfast, she cracked the slightest hint of a smile. Food sounded good right about now. Sure, she had more energy than she was used to, but she was still starving. As she stood, Tanja struggled a little to follow suit. Her legs were shaking and she was unsteady on her feet. As far as she knew, this was all new. She'd never been human, and standing in such a way was... weird. Still, it helped that Faye never let go.
In the bathroom, dark eyes wandered around the walls and the floor. Same color scheme, same smell but also different... Smelled like Faye, but also steam. It was nice. She jumped a little when her hand was placed under running water, eyes wide once more. After a moment, she nodded a little, as this seemed to be an acceptable response. That's what humans did, right? The nodded when they liked something.

/dude same!! I good at animals and plants that wont die immediately if the run out of water/
/lol she's cute until she's putting one of the other pack members in a headlock/
Getting in the tub wasn't too much of a struggle, but it was clear she still wasn't quite sure how to make proper use of her limbs. Still, she was in and under the running water. It felt wonderful, honestly, and she marveled at the way the first layer of dried blood washed off of her neck and chest, turning the water below her a muted crimson. She didn't move much, unwilling to risk falling over, though she leaned forward a little and let the water run from the top of her head and over her face. It was probably the most relaxing thing she'd done in years.
When Faye returned, the lupine stood back up straight so she could see. With a hand presented, she sniffed it a couple times. It smelled nice - like Faye, but not. It was a more basic scent but still, it was enjoyable. She listened to the white-haired woman spoke and proceeded to apply the new substance to her hair, which was at this point down to her mid-back. She didn't like it, the fact that she could see her hair. Something told her she just didn't like it long... there was simply too much of it. Still, she enjoyed the sensation of Faye washing her hair. She watched her as she demonstrated how to rinse it.
It all felt... vague. Like she knew what she was supposed to be doing but couldn't recall how to do it. So, Tanja followed Faye's instructions, Tilting her head back and rinsing her hair. The rest of her shower went just as smoothly, and it wasn't long before the girl was free of any remnants of blood and getting out of the tub.

/surprisingly mine is still alive lol we’ll see how long that lasts tho/
There wasn’t much she remembered how to do without being shown first, but it was clear that it came back to her as they went along. At least, partially, anyway. Once out of the shower, she just watched Faye as a towel was handed to her. She took it slowly, listening to the instructions given. Cold? Surely it couldn’t be that bad. Even still, she dried off as she was told, stumbling a little. Still, she remained upright, which was currently an accomplishment.
Following her out of the bathroom, Tanja shivered a little as they entered the bedroom once more. Alright, it was kind of cold out here now. She just looked around for a moment before heading towards the woman who had quickly became her savior, legs a little shaky and arms a little outstretched at her sides to keep balance. She followed her to the drawers, mostly keeping her eyes on the floor and watching her new limbs as she walked. The girl only nodded vaguely at the statement, quickly deciding on a tank top and sweatpants. It was a minor struggle to get them on, but she did it.

(lol thank youuuuuu xD)
Getting dressed had been odd. The feeling of fabric against her skin was familiar yet odd, and she was unsure of what to make of it. Still, she didn't protest. Rather, she just stood there and waited for what was next. She absentmindedly twisted her hair in her hands, glaring at it every now and then. Why did she have so much of it? And was it supposed to curl like that? Well no, that didn't matter - she only cared about why she had so much. It seemed... excessive. She didn't like it. Her thoughts were interrupted when Faye stated that they were going to eat. That sounded nice - food was good. And important for the body. To top it all off, she was starving.
Making it to the stairs hand in hand was fine. She'd stumbled only once, but it was fine. Getting down the stairs was... well, it was questionable. As her hand was placed on a railing, Tanja couldn't help but just stare down at the bottom of the stairs. It wasn't like they were foreign to her, but at this point, she was lucky she could walk properly. Still, with one hand on the railing and the other in Faye's, it didn't seem that daunting. Besides, what was a challenge, right? Challenges were fun. Soon enough, the two lupines had made it down the stairs without a hitch, and she found herself in the kitchen seated at a table. Huh, she couldn't remember the last time she was allowed on or at any of the furniture. Still, she didn't protest as food was placed in front of her. While she nodded at the warning and watched what Faye did, she proceeded to eat anyway. Was she burning her mouth? Of course. Did she show any signs of it? No - the food was much too good to show anything else but joy.
