"Conner here. How are things going at home?" He whispered as he locked up at the warehouse. "I got the spray cans by the way. I just need to find some dyes for the colours." Conner patched the scanner back up and locked the padlock. He made sure there were no other traces before leaving the area and slipping into an alleyway. "The city is slowly dying down. No cars, no people. Just cameras," he reported.

Alexandrea hummed for a moment as she considered his words before remembering the colors in the forest outside the city. "If anything, you could always make your own colors, that way they won't be able to trace it back to you." she offered, moving on to making little side notes of the day. She knew Connor glanced over her notes once in a while and she smirked slightly, making note of how odd Connor was acting today. She could just see the blush now! Shaking her head slightly, the brunette directed her mind back to the conversation. "I always hate the city when its like that. It's too eerie." she admitted, frowning at her open windows.

"Mmmm... true," he hummed, "but then again, I'm just too good at what I do, that they won't even trace me either way," he boasted, sneering a little. Maybe he was a little bit egotistical. "Anyway, let's make those colours bright. I'm thinking neon. I wanna the look on your brother's face when he sees my masterpiece." He grinned and snuck into a department store using the same means of breaking in. "I was thinking of decorating the billboard. Our guest speaker's face has been all over the city lately and I think he needs a new look." Conner snickered. Oh, he can just see it now.

Alexandrea couldn't help but snort at his words and shook her head fondly. "Watch it Conner, if your head gets any bigger then the govs might see it." she warned him in a bland tone, rolling her eyes. Her typing slowed to a stop at the idea of decorating Lt. Sabbath's picture crossed her mind and a slow, evil grin crossed her face. "I have two words for you. Rainbow. Afro." she said, hoping that he'd follow her suggestion. Lt. Sabbath was a man from New Orleans with his tanned, dark skin to the dark eyes as well. He had a serious face and a 'don't mess with me attitude' that was just itching for any color in his life. Connor's neon colors would do wonders and would stick out like a sore thumb, just how they wanted it.

Conner held back a laugh. Well, she wasn't wrong. He looked through the bottles of dyes. All greys. No luck. Of course. He was gonna have to find another way to make his own. "No luck here. Of course. They only have grey, black, white, poo brown, and a dull red colour. What was I expecting?" He sighed and got up to stretch himself out. "I'll figure something out. Time to use a bit of science." He took a couple of white cans of paint for the base. "It should be easy." He stuffed them into his bag and left, leaving no trace and started heading for the wall. "Alright, I'm making my way out. Wish me luck."

"You got this wizard. What kind of word is 'poo brown' anyways?" Alexandrea asked with a smirk, mirth shining in her brown eyes as she saved and uploaded the day's files. The encryption that Connor devised for her use would wipe away any hints that she was doing anything but writing an english assignment. She couldn't wait for Connor to read these files. "By the way. Brother dearest is home and the cameras caught a particular sneeze that would be brilliant to have a laugh at later if you want to check it out." she informed him, knowing full well that her brother looked nothing like he normally does at that moment. It was brilliant.

Conner raised an eyebrow as he pressed himself against the building, watching as a drone drive by. "A sneeze amuses you?" He inquired. "You are definitely something else, Alexandrea." He mused and continued his way towards the wall. He watched as the camera panned, timing it just as he reached its blindspot. "Also, it's just another phrase for that colour looks like a piece of..." he stopped there as he started to grow tired. Climbing up and down the wall at a timely matter had started to wear him down.

Alexandrea pouted at his words as she got her bag to do her schoolwork and suddenly realized that he couldn't see her. "I do hope you mean that in a good way Conner. Besides, it was a funny sneeze. He looked like an idiot doing that." she whined, pouting once more as she dug out a pencil from her bag. "I know that much gramps, its just why use that type of vocabulary? You sound like a kid." she said, snickering as she stopped her pouting. After a few math problems were solved without Conner's input, Alex frowned and glanced up as if to look at him. "Conner? You alright?" she asked, a slightly worried tone coloring her voice.

Conner finally reached the other side a few minutes later and huffed. "Yeah... I'm fine. Just not used to climbing the wall that much. Maybe I should start exercising a bit more..." He muttered, mostly to himself. "I'll take a look at that footage if you can send it my way." He chuckled breathlessly and pushed his grappling hook into his back. Conner stretched himself out first before hopping onto his board. "I'll be back at base soon. You should rest for the night. I have a lot of work to do."

Alex let out the breath she wasn't aware that she was holding and relaxed slightly, turning back to her work. "Maybe you should." she agreed with a chuckle before glancing at the time. "You need sleep as well gramps. Be careful. Alexandrea signing out." she told him, a hand reaching up to remove the earpiece. Flicking the com device at the computer allowed her a moment to watch it be drawn to the charger. She smiled for a moment and leaned back to stretch. "Gotta love magnets. They're so cool." she murmured to herself before getting up. The time was now 10:40 and her brother should be in the shower. If she was quick enough, she could get the information earlier than she normally would. "Maybe I can actually get to sleep at a somewhat reasonable time today." she mused, closing her math book on her pencil.

"You're older than me, you know..." Conner muttered just as she hung up. Conner spent a couple of minutes gathering some ingredients around the base for the pigments: Berries, flowers, grass and herbs. And about ten minutes later he arrived at the base. The door hissed closed behind him as he pulled off his sweater and unhooked his mask. He tossed them onto his chair and desk and dumped all of his items on the table. "Time to get to work then," he said to himself and plopped down onto his chair.
(Do you wanna skip to the next day from here?)

yup! )
Alexandrea work with a start, an alarm blaring in her ear as she scrambled to her feet. She hissed softly at the feeling of dead limbs and just took a moment to stretch. "I fell asleep at the desk again. That is not healthy for me." she muttered, shooting her desk with an alarm blaring on top of it a dark look. 6 am was too early for anyone to be awake in the brunette's opinion and she sighed, flicking the alarm off. "Too much work to do, too little time." she muttered out with a yawn, walking down the hall to shower. She had stayed up till two in the morning reading and compiling the information found off of Darien's laptop, having copied the files over to her computer once again. Her morning passed with a flash for the teen and before she knew it, she was scanning her wrist to get into the school.

Conner had stayed up all night to make the pigments. It was a challenge, but he finally made one bright pink colour. Not as blaring as he would hope, but it was better than nothing. He sat back and sighed, closing his eyes for a second before realizing that morning had probably come. He opened up his computer and stared at the clock. Yikes. "Seven twenty-five already?" Then it clicked. School! He scrambled for his communication device, now fully awake and alive. "H-hello?!" He frantically called into the device while pulling up the school's security system.
Daphne, as per usual was in the coffee shop, brewing the same bland coffee, and making the plain oat muffins and cookies. She stared blankly into space as the coffee machine brewed another one for a customer. At times she wondered if the coffee and cookies could taste better. Or if she even cared at all what they tasted like.

Alexandrea's eyes blinked at the frantic tone on the other side of the communication device and her eyes flashed. "Five by five. What took you so long? I was worried!" she hissed out, shooting the closest camera a venomous look as she got ready for class at her locker. The din of the halls covered her words and she was free to speak normally instead of the quiet hiss earlier. Her mind betrayed her as she slowed for a moment, thinking that he started his art without any backup. She chewed on her bottom lip for a moment before snapping out of it, knowing that she was constantly watched.
A small chime rang out as Darien walked into the coffee shop, cold blue eyes scanning the room until they landed on Daphne. The coldness in his eyes warmed for a moment, making him seem a tad bit softer as he approached the coffee counter. "Why good morning Miss Daphne. How are you this morning?" He asked pleasantly, giving her a barely noticeable smile but it was there. He allowed himself to hope for a moment that she would agree to his earlier advice before he stuffed the hope away. He knew women like Miss Daphne. They long for change and this was her chance. She would take that chance, that much he knew for sure. It helped though that she held promise in his eyes and that hope grew once more.

"Careful, with the cameras, miss. I can't keep erasing your data from the cameras all the time," he snapped, a little irritable from the lack of sleep. "I'm fine. Just... spent... most of the night making the pigments. They'll be done soon." He cooled his tone down a bit and sat back in his chair. "Did you just start class? Did you run into Jericho yet?" He levelled his speech to hide the excitement he was feeling.
Daphne looked up from the counter and blinked in surprise when she saw Darien approach. "Good morning. It's the same as usual. Nothing too exciting." She poured a cup of coffee. "Here. It's on the house today. Cookie or muffin?" She spoke in her orderly manner, remembering being scolded by her boss yesterday for smiling too much and being too kind. Was there a problem with being too kind? Her hair was tied up in a tighter bun than usual.

Alex let out a low growl at his tone and closed the locker, turning on her heel to get to class. "That can easily be played off as irritated for the day Con. Cool your jets. I passed him in the hall earlier but I didn't get a chance to talk to him yet. What colors are they?" She asked waiting in the hall with the rest of the students as they waited for the bell to ring. She caught sight of Jericho in the crowd and resisted the urge to smirk. Connor must be bouncing out of his seat.
Darien took the coffee as usual before reaching for his wallet, regardless of what she said. "Don't be silly dear lady. I will pay for my coffee per usual. I'd like that muffin once more please." he said, handing her the appropriate amount of money. Blank blue eyes studied her for a moment before frowning slightly. "Is anything the matter Miss Daphne? I do hope you are doing well." he asked her, a glimmer of concern flashing across his eyes, breathing some life back into them before it was snuffed out once more. Maybe he had to push for the job once more. She didn't look like she was doing too well here at the shop. She deserved so much more with a mind like hers. She could be his equal and truly help the government push forwards once more. He was sure that if he brought her into the folds, the rebellion would die.

"I've got pink, yellow and blue. Purple's coming up next, then green. They're not as bright as I'd hope they would be, but it's better than nothing." He shrugged. "Okay... let me know if you come across him then. What class do you have right now?"
Jericho was at his locker, arranging his things before shutting it and casually pulling his bag over his shoulder before heading over to his next class.
"Oh... nothing, sir." She offered a blank smile and shook her head. "No, I insist. On the house today. Plus the muffin." She refused to take his money and pushed it back towards him. Daphne paused for a moment when asked how she was doing. How was she doing? She wasn't uncomfortable, but she wasn't pleasant either. Maybe she was just in a bad mood for being scolded last night by the boss. So what if she had sprinkled just a little bit of sugar in the muffins? They did taste a little better than the bland ones that they usually sold in the shop.

Alex groaned and adjusted the bag once more, shifting her weight as she subtly kept an eye on Jericho while responding. "I have the blasted, forsaken thing they pass off of as history now a days." she muttered, utterly annoyed at that fact. They ruined and defamed the true history and replaced it with lies. It honestly drove her to join Conner in the first place. She jumped at the chance to change things when he offered her the opportunity. "I see him in the hall. Don't you?"
"Sir..? Miss Daphne. You have stopped calling me sir months ago. What has changed?" Darien questioned, finally drawing back the change from her hands. He folded the bills and stuck them in the tip jar, paying for his coffee and muffin in a way she could not deny. He didn't understand why he was feeling slightly hurt at the fact that he was called sir once more and that thought alone made him uncomfortable. He briefly considered giving up at the thought of Daphne joining the government but that thought was chased away quickly. He needed the rebellion to die and Daphne's scores and intelligence level is what drew him to her in the first place.

Conner felt his eyes grow heavy as Alexandrea talked into his ear. A moment later he began to snore.
Jericho went into the history classroom and settled down in the middle row. Like everyone else, he took out his pen and notebooks and sat up straight with his hands folded neatly on top of the desk as he waited for the bell for classes to start.
Daphne lifted her chin a little and stood ul straight. "I judt thought it would be appropriate to address you as so. The only people who are ranked higher than the others are ones from the government. And you are from said government." She shrugged her shoulders. "It just makes logical sense."

Alex rolled her eyes at the sound of snoring before turning down the volume on her com device. Noting that the doors were now open, Alexandrea scowled and moved to the back of the class, taking a seat in the far left corner of the classroom. She zoned the teacher out as he began to speak and instead doodled on her notebook, drawing loops and loops in the corner of the page. Her eyes flickered up periodically, focusing her attention on Jericho for a brief moment before going back to her art. Nothing exciting so far.
Darien frowned at her words and stood up a bit straighter as well when she did. "Miss Daphne. May I remind you that we are all equal now, including the government and its workers. For all intent, you are my equal as well. We have been over this Miss Daphne." he chided, knowing full well that she did not forget their previous conversation. Something must have happened for her to act this way around him once more.

Jericho fidgeted in his seat as the teacher drone on and on about American history. His back ached from sitting up straight and all he wanted to do something with his fingers. So he picked up a pen from his desk and silently started twirling it around his fingers. For a while, it pulled his attention forward, not even missing a beat while the pen flew between his pointer and his middle fingers. He picked up a bit of a rhythm until the pen fell out of his hand and landed on the desk with a loud clank! Which caught the attention of all the students. Their heads turned towards him and the teacher slowly sauntered to his desk. "Mr. Coleman. Are you done interrupting the class?" She pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose with a wrinkled finger and stared at him coldly. Jericho swallowed and slowly nodded. He flinched when the ruler smacked the back of his hands. "Keep still and behave like the rest of the students, young man."
"Yes, but I can't help but feel troubled." She pondered, her blank eyes glazed over as she got lost in deep thought before shaking herself. "Maybe I'm just broken?" She looked down at her hands, palms open and facing up. There seemed to be a lot more than what she knew in this world, but it was either out of reach, or it didn't exist in the first place. "Perhaps it's a ridiculous thought?"

Alexandrea snorted quietly and scowled at the woman who was 'teaching' the class. She was a rude old hag and she debated to have Conner know. He'd probably burn the house down and I wouldn't stop him. Old hag. she thought bitterly, her attention now focusing on Jericho. He was the first student to be disciplined besides Conner and herself and it sparked her interest for a moment. Maybe he is a good fit for Conner. Guess we'll find out. She let out a quiet sigh and leaned back in her chair for a moment, gazing down at her art. She was suddenly anxious for class to be over so she can corner this Jericho Coleman.
Darien reached out with his hand and placed his palm across hers, giving her open hand a brief squeeze. "The thought is ridiculous Miss. Daphne. You are not broken, just poorly placed. Maybe it's time for a new job. Start fresh and hit renew." he murmured to her before releasing her hand. He didn't know why he had reached across to comfort her but his hand felt tingly now. Must be dirty. I need to wash my hands now. he thought to himself, resisting the urge to scowl.

Jericho stared at his hands as the teacher continued on with the lesson. The sting bothered him the whole hour. He held back a sigh of relief whe the bell rang and class was finally over. He grabbed his bag and lined up with the students to exit the classroom.
Daphne slowly nodded, "Alright... what do you propose?"

Alexandrea made sure to slip into line behind her target before leaning forwards slightly to get his attention. "Are you okay? That looked like it hurt." she murmured quietly, glancing at his hand with sympathetic eyes. She knew the pain of having a hand slapped by a ruler and it wasn't fun and the results often were red for quite some time after. Conner better wake up soon, she didn't know when the school firewalls would detect her friend and she already allowed him to sleep for an hour and a half.
Darien gave her a gentle, small smile as she agreed to his suggestion before taking the muffin from the counter. "I suggest looking for a different place to work at Miss. Daphne. Maybe the local pharmacy or even the government. I do know that my office has a position open still." he told her quietly, placing the suggestion once again.

Jericho flinched but didn't turn around at the risk of getting caught and being out of order. "Y-yeah it's fine though. School standards shouldn't be hard to follow and I probably deserved it." He mumbled and walked through the door. Usually he was very careful with staying still, but lately, he'd been feeling a little restless.
Conner woke up at the sound of Jericho's voice and scrambled to sit up straight. He looked through the cameras until he finally found the one with Jericho and Alexandrea in the frame. "Hey, sorry I fell asleep. Did I miss anything? What's happening?"
"I think I can do that... a change of pace would be nice." She started cleaning up the coffee area and refilled the empty pot with fresh, bland coffee. "Do you have a specific position that you think will suit me best?"

Of course he would wake up at the sound of the boy's voice. Typical Alexandrea thought with a mental snort, scowling now at Jericho's words. "Jericho, right?" she asked before continuing, not waiting for him to respond. "If you think that you deserved to get whacked with a freaking ruler for dropping a pen then you're stupider than I thought." she told him, crossing her arms over her chest. She was still leaning forward to talk to him, an angry scowl on her face. She un crossed her arms and jabbed his shoulder harshly at his next words. "You did not tell me that you deserved that abuse. That was wrong of her."
Darien moved out of the way with a triumphant smile, the coffee and muffin clutched in his hands. "You would be suited for almost any position you would apply for my dear." he told her, thinking about the open positions that he knows about. "You could always join the BIS if you want. I work there."

Jericho swallowed as he could feel the anger radiating off her. He slowly walked to his locker with a scared deer-in-the-headlights expression. He slowly opened his locker and whispered. "What is your deal? It's just how the system works... Everyone has their place and we're just expected to stay in our place." Jericho focused his empty gaze into his locker as he robotically placed his history textbook and binder into his locker and got his Science material for next class.
Conner hissed, "What are you doing? Don't scare him away!" He typed in a bit more code to buy him a little more time before he had to log off.
Daphne nodded and a small smile tugged at the corner of her lip. "I would like that. Should I pass you my resume? She held out her arm to reveal the barcode. "I saved it on here. And do I need fill out an application as well?"

Alexandrea's eyes softened at the scared look he sported and promptly ignored Conner for the time being. She reigned in her anger and stopped next to him for a moment to speak quietly. "My problem is that we're suppose to be all equal, right? Then why do they expect us to fall into place? Why did she have the power to give you welts and to demand attention like that? Especially when we don't. I'm not angry at you, Jericho. I'm angry for you. It isn't equal in any way." After her small seed of doubt was planted the brunette walked to her own locker. Tossing the useless trash they called a history textbook to the bottom of her locker, she pulled out her next class book. "Ergh. Science.." she muttered, a frown still on her face.

Darien's smile grew in size as he snapped his fingers. One of the near by bots came at the summoning and he gently held out Daphne's wrist to be scanned. "Perfect work Miss. Daphne. There's no need to fill out the application. You're more than qualified for the job." he said, basically purring as the bot scanned the barcode. "Seems like you've planned this for quiet some time Miss. Daphne." he mused, flashing her an amused look as he released her wrist from his grasp.

Conner relaxed a bit when Alexandrea eased up. He rubbed his temples and propped his head on his hand with his elbow on the table. "Hey, Alex. I'm gonna rest for a bit. I'll talk to you when classes are finished. Signing off." He turned his com device off and exited the firewall, cleaning up his data in the log before shutting his computer down. "Ugh..." He sat back in his chair and sighed.
Jericho stared at his locker as her questions burned into his mind. In a way, she was right. Everyone was supposed to be treated equally, but in what way? Was it just the students themselves? Or was the something corrupt in their system that they, the youth, were not aware of?
