Levent stayed outside and sat down on one of the benches, taking out a notebook and sketching absent-mindedly the trees that circled the entrance courtyard to the palace. He was still deep in thought and after a while of drawing he felt restless, like he should go train to take his mind off it.
Merve was cleaning up the kitchens by herself after she had dismissed everyone else for the night. There was only a little bit left to do and she was looking forward to turning in early. She yawned as she put the plates back in the cupboard.
(I changed Blustering Spring's nickname to Arkady instead of Ilkbahar)

"The market was busy late today it seems." Levent looked up when she spoke, closing his notebook. He noticed the fallen flowers first and went to pick them up as he stood from the bench. Offering them back to her he noticed the jars of spices. "Merve should still be in the kitchen at this hour, she'll know where the spices go."

Levent pretended not to notice how flustered she was by the action. He was having trouble getting used to people acting so cautious and formal around him now. He didn't like some of the almost fearful looks he got sometimes but tried not to show it. However his brow did furrow a bit as he thought about it, coupled with his restlessness. "Mind if I walk with you?" He asked. "Normally if you go to the market later in the day you miss all the best things that are sold earlier on. But maybe that's only with things like fruits, meats and vegetables. Spices don't go bad so quickly."

Levent walked beside her half leading the way around the courtyard into a side entrance way, closest to the kitchens. He opened the door and let Adelaide walk in first, as Merve was just finishing up wiping down the large wooden table that took up the centre of the room. When she noticed them come in she stood up straight and bowed curtly to Levent, although it was obvious by her gaze that she knew Levent well on a friendly level. “What have you got there?” She asked Adelaide.

| Celena Ashdown | Human | Female | 20 | Leader of the King's Guard | Venom || Celena is a fairly tall and beautiful young woman. She stands at six feet tall with light sand skin. Even with all her rigorous training, her body is lean and has it's natural beauty to it. Curves and all. She has long black hair thta runs down her back and ends at her thighs. Her eyes are blue and green and are cat like in shape. Usually she is seen wearing her full armor with the emblem of the king on it. Other times she is seen with a tight black top and loose fitting pants that are light beige in color. Even with all that, she has no scars anywhere on her body and would like to keep it that way. It would ruin her tattoos anyways. Celena is mostly known to a beautiful yet Angry and fearful leader. She is almost always Angry and her soldiers and yelling at them. On better days, she is more relaxed but can still be snippy as can be. With her kind of reputation, you would expect her to be serious about her job. Well she is also a huge flirt. She would gladly hook up with anyone either man or woman. When you get to know her well enough, Celena is a kind woman but she would rather not show it because she takes it as a sign of weakness and would injure her reputation and ego. Celena's history is not a great one. Once when she was young, she had all she wanted. A loving family, food on the table, and a great home to live in. Well one day that was taken away by the rebels who strippd her of everything except her baby brother. They had to survive on the streets for a long time and that is where Celena learned to fend for herself. When the opportunity came, she was enlisted to train to be a King's Guard. She rose in the ranks and broke records. When the day came, she and brother had to part ways so Celena could be the leader. Ever since, her brother has been living the high life while she works hard to keep her King safe. Only living relative: Alistair Ashdown

“Those fabrics should go on the shelf downstairs, just at the end of the stairs to where all the laundry is done. I’m sure the seamstress will make something out of it.” She tossed the cleaning cloth into the sink.
“I visited the mainland twice before, never further inland than around the coast though.” Levent replied. He nodded to Merve. “I’m going to go to the training area before it gets too late.” He turned to the door.

"You as well." Levent nodded and made his way down the halls out to the courtyard by the barracks made for training the guards. He changed into a light leather armoured uniform similar to a guard's and practiced sword fighting with one of them. As they went over moves and techniques they talked cordially.

Levent stayed up late training, and went to his room quietly afterwards, pulling off the armoured uniform and climbing into bed, exhausted. He still woke up fairly early the next morning, got dressed and shooed away one of the maids who offered to help. He went down to a smaller dining hall room past the large main one, not far from the kitchens. Merve brought out some tea and they sat and talked there for a while.

(Sure they both grew up at the palace and work together so yeah)
"Good morning." Levent nodded, Merve chimed in with a 'good morning' at the same time and hers sounded more cheerful. She sipped her tea calmly while Levent seemed to go deep into thought again. He was waiting for the advisors to wake and give him news on more issues happening within the kingdom, until then he tried to relax, but had trouble.

“I slept no differently than usual, how about you?” Merve asked, getting up to go make Adelaide some tea as well. She handed her the hot porcelain cup and sat down again.
“It was alright.” Levent tried to focus on the current moment. He drank his tea slowly and watched between Adelaide and Merve.

"It went well and went a bit later than I think it should've gone." Levent replied. "I'll try to train earlier today if I get the time..." He said. "Will you be going to the market again today?" He asked, trying to make light conversation.

You think by now, that I would've learned not to play with fire if I don't want to get burned.

|| Kathryn Schwarzhaf | Human | Female | 31 | General | Abysswalker115 ||
Kathryn stands at six foot exactly, with a long and neat shoulder length raven hair that she braids into a bun when expecting combat or confrontation and scarlet colored eyes that stand out immensely compared to her pale, almost porcelain skin. She's got a bit of broad frame, complete with the muscles you'd expect from someone so tall and broad. Her armor when she takes the field is a suit of black half-plate, made with specifics so as to be less protective but be more mobile. She tends to wear a heavy fur cloak that barely touches the ground over whatever she's wearing, despite how hot that must get. Kathryn is a stoic and unflinching woman, with an stern gaze and a steely determination to see her enemies crushed. However, she has a soft spot for her troops despite her relentless drilling of them, and determines her tactics by weight of what will have the most success with the least casualties-though that's not to be said that she isn't willing to take casualties, but she prefers to minimize them. She has doubts about the new king, but is holding by her oath. Kathryn was born into a noble family, the tenth in line for the throne. Early on, she knew that barring a miracle, she wasn't going to be in line for any land of her own-so she dedicated herself to warfare. Strategy, tactics, becoming a warrior in her own right. Her hard work paid off when she became a general. Loyal unto to death to the old king, she is somewhat dissatisfied with the coronation of a young and inexperienced king, but is holding to her loyalty. She has kept herself fairly out of politics during most of her career, and thus is only really familiar with a few commanders who are under her.
