What if they killed Crowfrost off and made Tigerheart deputy instead, because Crowfeather is going to be leader and they couldn't have two Crowstar's.
I doubt it, but this is a random thought that came to me.

Isn't Tigerheart already deputy though? I haven't read the new series, but from the allegiances in Shattered Sky, it already has Tigerheart as deputy

Ah, I see now. I might've just misread your comment. I don't really think that they planned on making Crowfeather leader all along - I hope they didn't at least... Though maybe Crowfeather won't make it to leader - I personally hope he doesn't. He is getting old after all. Then again, Mistystar was old when she became leader, and she's still leader in the current series - I think? Judging by the allegiances she's still alive - so there's every chance that Crowfeather will make it to leader, depending on how old Harespring - he's the new WindClan leader, right? - is or how long he lasts as the Clan leader...

How are they gonna kill off a leader as young as harestar though? I think they'd find a way...that's what they did with Rowanstar. He had only just become leader in Bramblestar's Storm. I'd wager that it's been about half a year since then? Maybe a little more. He apparently lost all nine lives in the span of Tigerheart's Shadow...
