Title says all. We can either plot something out or just start rping, whichever you'd prefer. Also, I'm not advanced, but I can type at least 2-3 paragraphs if I have enough motivation. But I'll never write less than two sentences.
I mostly rp males, so I'll be rping a male character. You don't have to write out character descriptions, but you can if you want to. I usually just describe through rp, but I'll just say the basics about him.
Klaus Reiner -- 17 -- Male -- Asexual/Panromantic -- He has blue eyes, silver-colored hair that ends just above his mid-back, and stands at 5'9". -- Powers are ice/snow, which explains his hair color and pale skin.

{Alright. ^^}
Summer vacation had gone by quicker than Klaus had expected, and now here he was, making his way up to the double doors that would take him into the school building. Well, time for another year of not being all that social and hopefully not messing up with my powers. The school had normal classes, along with a class specially made for training a student's powers often set as the last class of the day, which Klaus always dreaded. His powers were sometimes controlled by his emotions and having fear about the last class didn't help his performance in the slightest. At least it was his last class...
Once he reached the doors, he opened them and headed in. He then headed over to a nearby wall and set his over-the-shoulder bag on the ground, waiting for the bell to ring. While he waited, he lifted his hand up to eye-level and allowed a few snowflakes to swirl around his hand and in between his fingers with a light blue aura surrounding his hand.

Upon hearing the doors open for probably the one-hundredth time, Klaus looked away from his hand to see who had came in. He faintly recognized the blonde male from last year, mostly from the power training class. He closed his hand into a fist as he listened to him talk to another student, causing the snowflakes to disappear. He couldn't help but silently agree with Lane's words, figuring that his own powers could do the same amount of damage Lane's could, whatever his were.
He then put his bag back over his shoulder before he left his spot by the wall, wanting to get away from the growing crowd of returning students, passing by Lane and his friends. He doubted that any of them would recognize him, but there was always a chance. All he had to do was get to a somewhat empty hallway, wait there for the bell, then head to his first class.

Yo, could I join? I can write out a short description.
Elle Adverns - 18 - Female - Bi - A petite girl standing at five foot even with long, light brown hair and round hazel eyes. She has a thin frame and pale skin that will tan easily if she stays out in the sun which she dislikes doing. Her expression is often one of discontent and she dislikes discussing her family, especially her father, his wife, and her half-sisters. She has the ability to fortify an area of her body while in motion and can only fortify her whole body if she is standing still. She is rather clumsy and doesn't speak much.

Oh. Great, so he had recognized him after all. He jumped as he heard the other say his name, turning around to face Lane. He let out a small laugh and rubbed the back of his neck as he listened what the blonde told him. "Uh, yeah. It's been a while." The concern in the other's eyes confused him a bit, wondering about the reason why. Despite Lane's apparent concern, Klaus managed to smile a little back at him. "I just stayed home all summer. Not a big fan of heat, obviously. But it's kinda good to be back here, though."

sorry for the disappearance i had to go eat)
Elle didn't want to think about her summer as she walked into the school building with her music blaring through the tiny buds in her ears. Didn't want to think about the days spent with her father and his family. Didn't want to think of how much of an outsider she felt. School erased all those feelings of exclusion she got with her family. At school, she belonged. She had very few friends but at least they didn't hate her for being born like her half sisters did. A flash of anger ran through her as she narrowed her eyes at the thought of her siblings. She was back living with her mom and her partner so now she didn't have to deal with all the dislike. Now she was back at school where she could feel like she belonged.
As deep in thought as she was, Elle didn't realize where she was going until she already was walking straight into a taller boy. Well, in a way two taller boys. She had tripped over one and stumbled into the other. Part of her was thankful her powers hadn't activated while the other was annoyed she dropped her phone, her earbuds getting yanked from her ears taking away her music. The faint sound of Halsey's Heaven in Hiding could be heard as she looked up at vaguely familiar boys. She often didn't pay attention to those in her classes, too focused on trying to improve her power than socializing. "Sorry," she mumbled as she crouched down to retrieve her phone from the floor. Blue eyes inspected the earbuds to make sure they were clean enough to put back into her ears. She glanced up at the two boys before smoothing out her navy skirt and making sure her grey, long sleeved blouse was still properly tucked in. She could tell they were in a conversation and wordlessly gave them brief glances before walking off to go her locker not far from where she had bumped into the boys.

"Oh, well, that would've been nice... I should've gone to find you or something. But I'm looking forward to winter more than anything." He then nodded in response to what Lane told him next, a smile appearing on his face. "R-Really? I mean, I know we aren't exactly friends and don't know each other too well, but still, thank you. Never thought a person with fire powers would be interested in someone with ice powers." Well, this interaction was going way better than Klaus thought it would. A possible friendship could be in the making.
However, his smile quickly changed to a surprised one as he felt someone trip over him. He then saw a girl pick up her phone and make her way away from them. "Y-You're fine..." he said in Elle's direction. He then turned back to Lane. "Hm, seems like it. Me too, to be honest. I'm not looking forward to that last class."

"I guess it can be a way to know weakness and strength, hm?" His jaw tensed as he kept his eyes on Elle, "But last class, really? That's like the best class there is in this place. You're free to use your abilities instead of holding them in." The lean body straightened as he averted his eyes from the previous girl," You struggle with them still?" It was something many struggled with but it wasnt too many either. Some had more crucial powers while others had something simple they had to develop themselves to make it better. One with fire, it was often hard to have total control over but he had enough to not go on a rampage. Already he knew a side of him just wanted to burn every and anything, a very dangerous and darker side for sure. His tongue pressed out and rested between his lips before he took in a breath. "I dont wanna seem rude but I really dont pay attention to others I dont really talk to. Of course, I admire your power greatly. Just dont stress about it." Turning his head he smiled at a few others he was fairly close with but quickly returned his attention to the others face.
"Everyone messes up. You're is a lot less harmful. I'm sure. Ok maybe not as much but they can fix it if it goes too wrong. Besides.." The smooth voice trailed off as he held his hands out in front of him, swiftly pulling them back to his own body. "There's other things you can be good at like, I dont know..Math. Science. Im sure science you could be amazing at if that doesnt work out too well."

Elle hardly heard the boys' responses as she opened her locker. Hidden by the open metal door, she felt her cheeks burn in embarrassment. She hated being clumsy, hated it when it involved others. Their words, or what the brunette could register from what she heard, caused a pang of annoyance to settle in her chest. She was the social type deep down, but how could she show it if for years she was ostracized by her half sisters. Up until she transferred to the school she was at now, she had been at the same schools as her sisters. With the older sister who despised her and her mother and the two twins who disliked her in general, it was difficult to make friends. Perhaps if she actually tried to socialize more like she did outside of academic activities.
Tucking a strand of long hair behind her ear, Elle glanced over at the boys and took a deep breath as she closed her eyes. No more fear, no more doubting herself. No one knew her there, she had only been there for the year prior to the one starting that day. She put her books in her bag and closed her locker before heading over to the pair. "Hi, I'm, um, I'm sorry I ran into you two. What's your first class?" Her heart pounded wildly in her chest as she waited for the rejection, the unwillingness to speak to her. Nerves tempted her to fidget, to use her power even on just her her pinky, something. Something to make her feel less out of her element in a place she associated with isolation.
It was this year she swore to make a change, change to be someone she wanted to be outside of her father's family's scorn. One year until college where she would hopefully be far from anyone she knew. Far away so that she could be her own person. Where she could discover herself. She looked at the two boys with unsure, blue eyes. She could keep that look of discontent on her face, the look she had mastered over the years, but her eyes always told the truth. She would never be able to play poker because of it, always lost at Old Maid too. She clutched the strap of her messenger bag as she forced herself to make eye contact with the pair and not run away before her socialization resulted in rejection.

"...Yeah, I kind of do." He looked down slightly, letting out a sigh. It rarely happened, but if he got too angry or any other negative emotion, plenty of things could happen. Such as, a strong snowstorm surrounding him, sharp-tipped icicles, and several other things. But he refocused his gaze on Lane once he heard what he said next. "Both of ours can be pretty dangerous. Thanks for admiring it, though. But, yeah, I suppose I could focus on something else if the power thing doesn't work out."
He glanced over at Elle once he heard her voice, waving a dismissive hand in response to her apology. "You're okay. I think my first class is English. My name's Klaus, by the way." He offered her a small smile, notiving her nervousness. "Who are you?"

[ mind if i squeeze on in here? ]
Samus 'Sam' Adler -- 18 -- Male -- Pan -- A tall guy, 6'3 with broad shoulders and strong arms. Remarkably timid despite his height, as if socially awkward. His hair is choppy short and black, his eyes a deep orange and his mouth full of sharp teeth. He's essentially a merman with a few shark-like traits, small control over water.
Jeanette King -- 17 -- Female -- Bi -- Average height, around 5'6, although most of her silhouette is obscured by her long wavy hair, reaching to about her knees: chestnut colored, fading to pale blonde at the ends. Her eyes are a pale blue, face round. Seems like a sadist. She has prehensile hair and can manipulate it at will.

Relief swept through her slightly at the fact she wasn't ignored. She could do this. She could overwrite years of growing withdrawn and unsure of her actions and words. This was just the first step. Like slowly testing the waters at the beach. Stepping onto the sands and taking in the scent of the ocean. First step. Good step. Small step. Deep breath, steady and slow. A small smile pulls at Elle's lips as she nods in acknowledgement of the introduction and response. "I have History as my first class," she told the two as she shifted her weight to the left. "I'm Elle, by the way. I transferred last year so I'm not surprised no one knows me."
She stole a glance down at her blood red boots before looking at the pair again. She had no idea what to talk about. She generally talked about comic books with her other friends but she had no idea where they were. She needed more friends anyway. Expand her circles as it were. She pulled her phone from her pocket and glanced at the time. She sighed seeing a message from her mother and absently responded as she kept her attention on the boys. She wondered if they had abilities too, perhaps she would ask. "Do you two have powers?" She internally cringed at how the question came out but she had no idea how else to form it.

"Nice to meet you, Elle. I've been here for the last few years." In response to her next question, Klaus nodded before saying, "Yep. Mine are ice and snow, which is where my appearance came from. What are yours?" His expression was genuinely curious as he looked at her, wondering what her powers could be. They probably weren't as easy to guess as his.

[ sure why not. ill save Jeanette for a good moment. ]
Sam wasn't sure how he felt about coming back after the summer, musing about it as he pulled some textbooks out of his locker, running his fingers along the spines, trying to decide which classes would be assigning homework on the first day. The conversation around him was drowned out by his thoughts, although he caught sight of an unfamiliar face open a locker next to him. He was a quiet guy, but he at least knew of most of the people in his grade, and he certainly didn't know this girl. Narrowing his eyes slightly, he blinked, a piece of paper floating to the floor from her locker as she approached two other students. It looked like she hadn't noticed, so he reached down for it, recognizing it as a class schedule. He stepped over to the group and placed it in her hands, easily able to reach over her small frame. "You dropped this."

Once he saw Lane show a bit of his powers to Elle, Klaus figured he should show a small bit of his own powers. He allowed a light blue aura to surround his right hand as he held it up for both Elle and Lane to see. "Thought I'd share my own demonstration," he said as several white snowflakes swirled around his hand. "This is probably the simplest thing I can do. Just some snowflakes."

Elle's eyebrow rose as curiosity began to replace her nerves. Ice powers? Interesting. She wondered how they worked, how they made themselves apparent. She didn't feel cold standing near him. Didn't even notice he had them. Sure, he had silver hair but that could have been dyed to look like that. Blue eyes studied Klaus as she analyzed him. How did his powers work? It was probably different from her powers, her own revolving around her body rather than something else. They weren't even that impressive. Her mind drifted to her half sisters and the powers they had. Her father had them as well which was probably the source of their own. Elle seemed to have drawn the short straw in comparison though. Enough. Enough thinking about the side of her family she rather not think of. After spending half the summer with them though it was difficult to banish them from her mind, however. She let out a sigh on accident, unable to contain it, and tightened her grip on her bag.
Then Lane spoke, showing his powers as a flame appeared over his fingers. Blue eyes widened in surprise as she watched the flame before it vanished. The remnants of the heat it put off sank into her bones before fading just as quickly as it came. She couldn't keep the look of awe from her face as her jaw dropped slightly. She had never seen fire powers, most of the powers she had seen belonging to her family. Speed? Seen it. Flight? Seen it. Super strength? Seen it. But fire? That was interesting. Her mind pulled all the comics she had read forth and instantly she felt like she was standing before a superhero. She barely managed to keep herself from blurting out how cool it was to see. To experience. She wanted to see it again but knew she would have to wait. She wondered if it could hurt her when she used her powers. Wondered the same with Klaus and his powers. It would have to wait though. Perhaps later.
"My powers are nothing special," Elle replied. "I can fortify a portion of my body and keep it fortified even in motion. If I want to fortify my whole body, however, I have to keep still." She flexed her hand, half doing it just to stretch it out, and felt the muscle harden. The bones, the flesh. Like stone, it grew solid despite the softness it appeared to have. In her mind, it was like she was a statue, the rest of her lost to time except for the portion her powers were focused on where her blood ran through like water flowing through an aqueduct of ancient civilizations. It excited her, seeing herself like that. Like some ancient who had been in slumber for centuries only to awake made of flesh rather than stone. It made her feel like something out of a novel or comic book.
Elle felt something be placed in her hand and jumped, a small squeak passing her lips as she looked wide-eyed at the boy approaching her. She glanced down at the paper in her hand to see her name at the top and recognized it as her schedule. "T-Thank you," she managed to say as her heart raced inside her chest. "Um, um." She tried to search her brain for a name to go along with the face but came up blank as she stuffed the paper into her bag. "Um." She felt her cheeks burn as she felt unable to keep herself from trying to dig through her brain for a name despite knowing she had no idea who they were.

Sam hadn't particularly noticed that he'd walked in on a power demonstration, and was surprised to see that the conversation had paused and the group was looking at him. It certainly wasn't unusual, he often stood out in crowds, but seeing Lane's expression grow from content to mild panic and the girl jumping at the sight of him made him shrink back, lowering his gaze slightly as he scratched the back of his head. Figured. "No problem-" he eventually muttered out loud, trying not to wince at how flat it sounded compared to how pictured it in his head. "You're new, right? I'm Sam," he waved, opting for a small, closed-mouth smile. "Sorry for interrupting your conversation."
