Ollie grinned at Holly's sarcastic mannerism, glad that she was alright. He glanced at Daphne, his eyes shining at the options listed. "Yeah!" he quickly agreed, not specifying which option he was agreeing to. He quickly looked around the room. Opening the closet, he shuffled around until he found a baseball bat in the back. "There! Now I'm ready." He even found a baseball cap, which he placed proudly on his head as if it was a helmet.

Kyoko nodded, deciding not to attack. Rose frowned, “Ress might not want you to know, but...” she sighed, brown eyes locked down, “It is the source of our powers, some kids died because of it, others are haunted from memories.” She added. “And your sister, she’s a liar, she’s lied about her identity many times, correct?” Kyoko looked unsure, but nodded softly, “She lied about her identity multiple times, to her brother Daphne for months. He thought his sister was dead, but she had her reasons.” She defended quickly. Holly glared at him, crying out as she spotted Ress use the black crystal to push Arien away from her. Her distraction cost her, and her eyes closed as she braced herself for impact, grunting in pain. Yet she didn’t expect the two following, and fell with a thud. “You might be more powerful then, but what good will it do after, Night? Totality only last for minutes.” She grunted, "I'll blast you as much as you want. My power only grows!" This one should certainly be enough to kill- and totality of its black beam should be enough to see that. Night fired once again. 13 shook his head. "And what would you have us do? You work for Night- your ultimate goal can only be evil."

"That's where I'm headed. I've to be there by morning," Blink commented, glancing up at the sky. Time was running out. "He doesn't really like people he doesn't know showing up uninvited. He'd probably kill you on sight," he stated in another attempt to leave Isaac behind. If that didn't work, he had one last thing up his sleeve. Isaac frowned. "W-Well, you know the effect I have on people! You're not just killing me on sight, are you? Heheh..." He held his hands behind, to hide how he was wringing them.

"But I am not him." Blink glanced around and lowered his voice. "Nobody really knows how many he's killed. Dead men tell no tales, you know," he murmured to Isaac. "Don't worry though," he called out, as he started to roll forwards. "You won't have to worry about a thing, because you're not coming!" With that said, he sped away from the spot, laughing loudly and hoarsely as he did so.

Isaac stood and watched him at first, flabbergasted. Then he called out something, not explicative but not polite either. He let his arms droop in dismay, watching the dust cloud get fainter and fainter.
Meanwhile, a certain someone was keeping up. Hornet- staying to the shadows, she was easily fast enough to keep up.

Holly, on the ground, looked at a piece of broken glass before her, reflective in the dim light. Her eyes widened as she looked at not a pure reflection of herself, but a girl with ivory hair, and scarlet eyes, and little wings along her back, floating above her shoulders, not quite touching. Yet the image vanished immediately, and she wished she could access her Dreamscape form at that time. Forcing herself up, Holly looked up eyes wide, at the sun, as a bright light shone and totality eclipsed. Her eyes flew wide as Arien fell, crying out to him as Ress stood, panting from the fight. Holly then glared back, fully taking on the beam, and sighing softly as her body faded and swirled with the darkness.
Arien and Ress stopped, looking over as Holly seemed to disentigrate before there eyes, and Ress cried out, “No! No one was supposed to die!” She yelled out.
Arien looked at where Holly had faded, his own eyes wide as her scarf fluttered to the ground, tears in his eyes.
Kyoko glanced up at the sun, but saw the beam hit Holly, and let off a cry, starting to run for the building.
Rose glared at him, “Believe what you like, you’re better off without her though.” She said, a small grin on her face as she looked up, “And she’s gone now.”
Daphne grinned, “Yes, you sure are.” He said proudly, looking at Ollie and smirking.

Blink's laughter gradually faded, and his throat felt sore from the forced sound. Isaac was now out of sight. Frowning slightly, he pressed Silver Lily faster. Isaac was the first to make him laugh for real in a long time. He was a nice guy. It was best if he didn't hang around him. He drove for a while cross country, but after a short time, he came across a highway. He merged with the traffic, and to his great relief, the smooth pavement of the highway was much easier on his wounded shoulder. He picked up even more speed, and began to weave around traffic, leaning into the wind as he did. Eventually he turned off onto a less used highway, and after a few miles, he turned onto a gravel road. He travelled the grid for about twenty minutes before pulling up beside an old abandoned farmstead. The sun was just above the horizon now. He hopped off the Silver Lily and pushing the second wire down, he slipped through the barbed wire fence. When he stood up on the other side, he rubbed his shoulder.

(Speaking of birthdays... :3 Not as exciting as Holly's, but that's probably a good thing. ) ---
Ollie grinned, and held out the bat in front of him like a sword. "So what's the plan? What are we doing?" He heard another loud sound, but at this point, he had heard it enough times that it didn't startle him. His friends were strong.

She was exhausted, but had been able to follow, and now watched his movements carefully.

Death of someone he cared for, the death of someone other than he, was a feeling foreign; powerlessness filled his heart. "Y-You." He turned to look at Rose. "You were stalling. For the eclipse, for Night." He breathed. Something clicked within him. He wasn't processing events around him anymore. He wasn't thinking about his suit's abilities, or the likelihood of death if he did not escape from Night and his supreme might for these next few minutes. 13 needed someone to blame- and Rose stood ahead of him. He began to slowly pace towards her, fists opening and closing with method. Night laughed in delight. He turned to the sky above, cackling as a wave of his hand brought about a storm to darken the land. "Rose! You've served your purpose marvellously!" Slowly, he began to rise into the air, as any matter within a sphere around him disintegrated as well. A sparkling fire of black encircled him as he rose, and suddenly the air around him was engulfed with these translucent flamesas power surged. He was preparing something. All over the Earth, storms were moving in, the atmosphere was heavy, there was an electricity to the air. You no longer needed to know what was happening to know something was wrong.

(Thanks! XD All good. I honestly didn't realize it was going to be my birthday until the day before.)
Between the barbed wire fence and the old farmhouse, the yard was practically a junkyard. In some places, the trash piled up higher than six feet. Blink walked in carefully, stepping over some places, and ducking under overhanging metal pieces. The guy who lived here was a rather paranoid man, and he left plenty traps. There were trip wires, pressure plates, and overhanging metal that would explode if you put any pressure on it. Sometimes, they'd shoot sharp spikes at the intruder, or cause the over-piled trash to fall on them. The junkyard was full of traps, and quite the variety. Blink knew from experience, how dangerous it could be to wander in here without knowing the dangers.
At last, he made it to the farmhouse, which he entered silently. Inside, it was as ratty and abandoned as it seemed from the outside. The morning light shone through broken windows. He walked to a back room, opened the door. It was dark. He closed the door behind him, leaving the room pitch black. He lifted the small mat that was on the floor, revealing a glowing square.

Having watched with incredible care, Hornet followed every step he had made to the letter. She listened through the door and heard him move something. Then, the sky went dark. Her heart stopped as she watched- the light in the sky seemed to simply sap away to the horizons, and disappear. With this, she backed to the door, and felt it swing open, having her plop into the farmhouse on her butt.

(Ah, so the same time period. :3)
Upon hearing a sound in the house, Blink quickly covered up the glowing square with the mat. He stood and tried to open the door silently; the door however, was old and let out a loud squeak. He winced at the sound, but was shocked at how dark it was in the main part of the farmhouse. What was going on? There was light only moments ago. The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end under his mask, and he drew his unweighted staff, extending it and looking around. He snuck away from the small room, miraculously avoiding squeaky spots on the floor. He didn't dare make a sound, for doing so could ultimately mean his defeat in a battle in the dark. Instead, he waited for the intruder to make a sound. It was probably the intruder that was causing this darkness.

Hornet glanced around, trying to find a source of light in vain. "Something's going on outside, Blink, I don't know what's happening..." But she knew the feeling it gave her. Similar in sense to the feeling just before her mind being controlled- magical and dark.

Blink lowered his staff. "Hornet?" He walked towards her voice, feeling out before him with his hands. It was too bad his goggles were out of commission. His foot lightly bumped against something soft. "Do any of you know the meaning of stay behind?" he muttered, though he was too distracted by the darkness to be irritated. He felt around with his hands to get a better idea of her location.

The moment he arrived at her side she sprung up. She was quite adept at visualizing an area, and knew about his approximate height and position, so when Hornet stood, she wrapped her arms around his body. "I-I'm scared. Something's happening, and I have the same feeling as I did before I got mind controlled."

Blink pulled his hands back, and held his breath for a moment when Hornet wrapped her arms around him. "I don't know what's happening either... But I do know someone who might. Come on," he took her hand and parted from her embrace. "There'll be light there as well." Luckily, he knew the layout of the farmhouse pretty well. With her hand in his, he guided her to the back room he had been in earlier. He groped around for the door, but when he found it, he closed it behind them. He lifted the mat again, revealing the glowing square. It let off a blue-white glow, though not enough to light the room.

Kyoko screamed out, rushing at Night despite the brashness, tears streaming down her face, but was pushed back by wind.
Enix was alongside her, grief stricken as well, her eyes welled with tears of anger.
Ress looked at Rose, who was smirking, her grey eyes darkening, “You let him kill her! That wasn’t part of the deal!” She screamed out. She dropped the black crystal down gently, backing away from it, upset and regretful.
Rose rolled her eyes, “I stalled you. Poor you. Foolish you really. In my opinion she deserved it.” She said, simply shrugging.
Everything seemed to tick to a flow, in the realm of a void. With eyes closed, her floating uselessly around her body, as scenes and flickers of memory played through Holly’s mind. It was dark, and cold. It was grey, and black, and nothing.
A whisper rolled through her ears, and she twitched slightly. Eyes closed, she seemed to be trying to move, but instead she floated, above the ground in tandem. Silent, Dare she say, scared to a degree. Because everything was silent, and everything was loud.
The whispers grew, she recognized them. Gasping, her eyes flung open, the green dull and grey, skin pale. Her voice was soft, silent, loud, everything was nothing. “Kyoko?” She echoed. “13? Enix? Ollie? Daphne?” She croaked, eyes wide as she looked at the little visions.
A new whisper came, from behind her, “Holly?” It asked, voice soft, echoing.
She turned, to spot a simple version of herself, but it wasn’t too. It was void of emotion, with empty white eyes, and hair of messy black. But it’s voice was of that of many others.
She blinked, unmoving, as everything became crystal before her. The vision of the girl faded, leaving mirrors. Each shattered and cracked, each reflecting a distortion.
A light shined in the darkness, bright and blue, and her eyes flung to spot it. The blue crystal around her new was a glowing thing now, and the marks upon her wrist glowed in the same color. She felt fear, but didn’t move as the color formed between her enclosed hands, and she held the little orb up. The voices were closer. So much closer now.
She felt her memory trickle back then, and held the orb close to her heart, expanding it slightly, before using the energy to break the mirrors around her, and break through the void.
In a flash, the sky lit up with bright blue, a creature, a girl with black hair, and bright glowing blue eyes flew before the silhouette of the solar eclipse. Not pupils marred her eyes, and bright streaks made up floating wings along her back. The blue crystal was shining brightly still around her neck, and the crystals of the others began to dimly glow.
Holly remained there, floating up, eyes unwavering, eyes clompletely glowing, giving no sight to her emotions, her grin and smirk were gone, replaced by an inhuman look. Almost akin to that of Mirage.
(I love this part a lot, to be honest. She didn’t die, per se. More so, she attempted to teleport with her remaining energy, but when the blast hit her form as she tried to do so, it caused her body to glitch out of existence(an issue we will begin to uncover). This solar eclipse actually marks the beginning of a lot of issues and arcs regarding many character, not really only my own either.)

13 reached out, and without thought grabbed Rose by the neck and began to squeeze. He lifted her into the air, and through his emotionless mask stared her down with an intensity felt.
Night looked to a woman down the street, who had come out to investigate that noise and darkness. With a simple point of his finger, a black beam leaped out, struck her, and ended her life as well. The smoke that erupted from her ashes seemed to rush back to Night, to join the flame around him, as if empowering him.

Rose grinned darkly, grabbing his wrist despite her pain, and letting loose a bunch of flowers, which seemed to leap from her hand and curl around his wrist, creeping to his neck to twine around it.
Holly glared at Night, her blue wings, her Dreamscape form seemed to be renewed. Powerful energy burst from her aura, and with a flick of her wrist, spikes rose from the ground on the roof, jutting out at him, they were glowing blue as well, and Arcana(her hero form, or Astral form) watched with emotionless eyes, not even flinching other than the smooth movement.
Arien stopped his attack, as did Kyoko and Enix as they stared up, all of their eyes wide and fearful of what Holly had seemed to become. But ultimately Arien grinned, his own crystal glowing yellow as looked up, smiling at Holly, who seemed to notice it, a small smile quirked on her own lips, before her straight face returned less than a second later.

Blink could just see the faint outline of her facial features. "We're not there yet," he murmured, with a little upward quirk of his mouth, concealed by the mask. He was glad she seemed to have calmed down. Hopefully Zed would have an idea of what was going on. He placed his hand on the glowing square, and something clinked, reverberating through the floor. Suddenly the floor stared moving downwards with a muted grinding noise. When it stopped, he flipped the mat back over the light, and they were plunged back into darkness. He stood, securing his grip on her hand. "Follow me," he told her, stepping off of the platform and onto some metal flooring that hadn't been there before. When they both were standing on the metal floor, lights on either side of the hall sprung to life casting it in a yellow light. The platform behind them hummed, as it rose back to it's original position above. The hall was long, thin and empty. At the far end were some heavy metal doors.

(This is really fun to read. I hope Ollie's random intervals of cluelessness aren't wrecking anything.)
It suddenly turned darker outside, darker than that of the eclipse. Ollie paused, looking around. "What is-" A blue light leaked through the window, and he rushed to it, cutting off his question. "Woah... Who is that?" he asked, not recognizing Holly's Dreamscape form. Whoever she was, she was absolutely stunning. In an unworldly sort of way.

Night waved his hand, and the black-flame aura expanded and shattered the spikes. It ended up vaporizing most of the house next to him, too. Then the warlock began chanting something- to even hear these words were nails to a chalkboard. Something big was coming, and Holly needed to bait him into stopping. An all-out show of force might be required, such as the attack he had used to kill her. Even as the flowers began to slither into his armor and choke him in return, 13 did not budge. In fact, knowing this would be a trade, he whispered a voice command. "Lock armor in place." His chokehold held, even as his strength wavered and vision blurred. They were both doomed.

Rose then clenched her fist, thorns poking out of the plant as roses began to bloom, this may surely hurt, but not kill.
Holly landed, running down and swiping her hand over the air, casting auras. Blue surrounded him in tiny orbs, before spinning quickly and pulsing in towards him, fast. With another soft whisper, his helmet's visor opened, so she could see his face. "My armor is locked in place. You're dead already. Surrender." 13 whispered to her, as his voice was far enough gone that he couldn't do much else. Night waved, and black spheres were cast out and enveloped the blue orbs she had sent, nullifying them. The vines nearly connected, however, and the blazing aura around him dissipated in order to burn them away. He was more vulnerable without this shield. Both hands he brought above his head, palms together and then separating slowly. As they opened black energy swirled between, concentrating within his grasp. He brought his hands down in front of him to face his palms outward at her, and it was here he yowled a war cry and the energy fired forward.

Holly watched simply as her blue vines dissapeared. She sent out another set, her crystal glowing, and her body faded from sight.
It reappeared behind, and she grabbed the black crystal from it’s perch on the ground, she stomped on she had the now glowing second crystal in her grasp, Black spreading from her feat and towards him, leaving cracks and ash.
