"Ha! As if I don't do that already!" Artemis laughed loudly, half-teasing him. Though, she squeezed his large, rough hand lovingly.

"Yeah, Yeah." Darius snorted, nudging Artemis gently as he chuckled deeply. "Right now the Earth is...calm. Not hot, not cold. Is it weird for the others? When we Earth users claim to hear the Earth speak? Sometimes it talks, I swear it does. But I think Lilly hears plants moreso than the rocks that I do." He explained.

"No, that makes sense." Artemis mused, leaning her head on his shoulder. "Like Kira can hear thoughts at times. Or sometimes, by the light of the moon, I hear things too. And it's never nothing, it always makes sense." She smiled, thinking of how pretty certain spots were. "And speaking of a calm earth," she tugged at his hand, supporting herself fully once more to face him, "if you're feeling well enough later, would you care to accompany me to the waterfall?" She asked, a light brightening her sapphire eyes.

"How can I say no to that?" Darius smiled, giving a nod to Artemis as he chuckled. "Maybe we'll see Claire or some other Water-Users. I hear they like the warmer weather."

Artemis grinned, once more leaning against him as they walked back to the Light Cabin to see Deven or Anya. "Well if Claire's there, Ben will be too, and we all know how much he hates the heat." The autumn-haired leader rolled her eyes sarcastically, a small grin still present on her lips. Her Second was always trouble in some way or another, but nonetheless, a valuable friend and ally.

"That guy's a character. Could kick my butt back and forth in combat, but not the most welcoming person." Darius snickered to his fiance. He respected her choice though. Ben was an expert planner and fighter. His cold demeanor complimented Artemis' warmth.
Anya turned to see her brother and Artemis approaching, her long hair done in a braid as she called over. "Hey you two! How are things looking?"

"Yeah, but I could kick his butt back and forth in combat should I need to." Artemis teased back, bringing her hand twined with Darius' up to kiss it. Ben was definitely difficult at some times, but he had a good heart in him. She then heard Anya, and blushed slightly, lowering their clasped hands once more. "Hey Anya! Everything would be fine, except your brother here neglected to tell me about his reoccurring headaches." The Light leader nudged her fiancee's side gently, though the fact did bother her slightly.

Darius grew a bit defensive as Anya tapped her foot in annoyance. She sighed. "I apologize for my brother's sheer stubbornness. I'll go prepare something for treatment. Wait here." She nodded, moving back to the cabin.
Darius gave a light huff, deciding to ignore the situation and continue his curiosities. "I always wondered, Artemis, what made you choose Ben as the Second in Command? Not that I'm not okay with it, but why him specifically?"

"Well," Artemis began, letting go of his hand and walking to the cabin's steps, leaning back against the railing, "Ben and I don't always see everything eye-to-eye, which in a leadership position has it's ups and downs. It means he isn't afraid to challenge something he thinks I might be doing wrong, but it also means we have more possibilities to explore in situations. He's strong, and calculated, and he isn't quiet as "soft" as I am, also giving him that opposite side that ultimately makes good decisions when viewed from both points." She crossed her ankles, and reached up with her right hand to tuck some stray hairs behind her ear and out of her face. "Another important factor is that he has no bias towards or against me, so he won't agree with every single thing I say just because I'm me, or disagree for the same reasons." The autumn-haired Light user smirked slightly at Darius at this point.

Darius nodded thoughtfully as he hummed. "Which is why people like me, Lilly, Kira and others would not have worked out...we're far closer to you, er, positively and negatively than someone like Ben or Claire. Smart move, Glowstone." He teased.

"Precisely." Artemis winked at him, though she flushed at his nickname for her. It was both embarrassing and endearing, as it combined their elements rather well, and he had come up with it all on his own. She beckoned him over with a small wave of her hand.

Darius followed the order easily, sliding over to seat himself next to her. He was about to speak, only to glance over and hide a snicker of humor as he saw Ben and Kira storming across camp.
"Disgusting heat. The spar barely lasted 10 minutes. Doesn't count." Ben glowered to Kira, who gave a heavy sigh.
"Perhaps night time would fare as a better time to spar. I have to agree. The heat is dreadful, especially for my hair."
"Your hair! My entire being is hindered! I'm making ice that melts twice as fast after I finish firing it at the targets!" Ben hissed.

Artemis chuckled, sliding over to lean against him. "What's taking Anya so long?" She questioned, resting her head on his shoulder.

Darius was about to open his mouth, only to sigh as he heard Anya open the door and come out to the steps. She spoke. "Inside, come on." She ushered sternly.
Darius scowled, but stood up and looked at Artemis.

Darius gave a huff. He began moving into the Light Cabin though, following after his twin sister and letting Artemis take up the rear. He was led into one of the guest rooms, where his sister had set up a rather colorful display of lights. She explained.
"Many times, humans relate emotions and thoughts to specific colors. Anger usually radiates in red. Sadness gleams in blue. I...practiced with color and light therapy for a long time when I was away to destress."

(I thought Anya was younger by a year or two???)
Artemis followed Dariud in closely, and smiled sadly at Anya's display of lights. "It's both beautiful and effective." She mused, rubbing Darius' back in a small circular motion. It was something her mother used to do for her father when he was stressed, and had become a habit for her as well.

(naw they were always twins.)
Anya gave a thankful nod to Artemis, as Darius looked a bit unsure. He slowly moved to lay down, not speaking much but looking at his sister. Artemis' comfort soothed him.
Anya nodded and sat down, lifting a hand and bringing over a blue light. She hummed. "We start slow. This pain you feel, single out why it worries you." She offered.
"...Afraid there's damage or something. Like it won't go away and it'll make me paranoid..." He answered.

(Oh, I didn't realize)
Artemis stood silently, a bit away from the bedside. She didn't want to disturb Anya or her work, or cause Darius to be extra nervous. The Light user just waited, worried and slightly sad.

Anya rolled through the colors, and it seemed to be helping the Earth User immensely, up until the brighter colors. With a sudden start, he gasped at the flash of light in his mind, very similar to the one during the interrogation, a bright light above him as he was trapped on a table. He breathed quickly, hissing from phantom pain.
Anya nodded carefully and spoke. "This is the part you must overcome. I can feel your pain, but it's mostly phantom. It's not really there. You must overcome the memories attached to it. We're right here for you." She promised, as Darius grit his teeth, reaching his hand blindly to find Artemis' to hold onto.

Artemis quickly grasped Darius' larger, rougher hand in hers, rubbing it gently with her thumb after an initial squeeze, as she always did. "You can do this, love. You're so much stronger than you think you are." The Light User whispered, trying her best to be reassuring in this rough moment for her beloved.

Darius gave a shaky nod, growling lightly as he pulled his strength in to smash away at the invasive memories. Following the comforting light of his sister and fiance, he finally began to relax and calm down, the pain finally receding as his dark memories were replaced with colors and lights.

(Ew short reply) Darius blinked lightly, before he looked at his fiancé and gave a light nod. He did feel much better, amazed at the healing properties of Light. He hummed. "Yeah. Much better. Thank you both." Anya crossed her arms proudly as she laughed. "You're welcome, rock-head."

The Light user dipped her head to Anya. "What a relief." Artemis sighed with a smile, and leaned over to kiss his forehead gently. Resuming her rubbing of his hand with her thumb, she raised an eyebrow. "You still feel up to going to the waterfall pool with me? I think we could both use a short break from Camp." The leader laughed lightly, sapphire eyes sparkling with amusement.

Anya watched with humored snark in her eyes as her brother moved to chase Artemis out of the cabin.
Darius followed after Artemis, calling out. "Aw! You know I'm a slow runner!"
Ben was training with Skylar, seeing how his brother had progressed in his fighting. While he was doing decently, Ben was well aware of his brother's reluctant nature and inability to make a choice without deep thought. Landing a swift kick, Ben forced Skylar back, the younger Darkness user falling on his back.
Skylar landed with an "oof". He hoped Lilly hadn't seen it somehow, how he was faring against his brother.

Artemis chuckled again, humor radiating in her blue eyes. "Who said anything about running?!" She called from ahead, twirling around playfully. She was in a great mood now that her fiance was healed, and determined to make the rest of the day flirty and spectacular.
Lilly had been watching the sparring match originally, but decided to grow some flowers on the sidelines instead, switching to only half watching her boyfriend. He wasn't doing his best today, so she wanted to support him, but also not embarrass him.
