Charlie was settling back into her dorm room. It was a new year and she was excited to meet new mutants. Since she started attending school here, here power had gotten easier to control. She glanced over at her dad who had helped her carry some of her thing ups to the room. "Maybe you'll hang around and teach something this year?"she asked him.
Matt smiled, blind eyes shielded with round sunglasses, the lens a dark red. He didn't lean up against any canes this time, students and people at school knowing who he was. He didn't really need to fake anything. "Maybe. I was offered to help with some training,"he shrugged, leaning against the wall.
Tony was hanging around downstairs on the main floor, already making himself at home. He stood at the pool table, starting up a game with some other mutants.

Cyprus was sitting in the large living room of the mansion, with his rifle that Forge had made for him on the coffee table in front of him. It was taken apart with every piece meticulously laid out for cleaning. He didn't know why, but he felt like he needed his rifle pristine before new students showed up. Most new students showed up at the beginning of the year. Kids who had recently found out about their powers, but weren't in a lot of danger. Kids still showed up in the middle of the year, and it was usually the ones who were in slight danger. Or extreme. After all, the school year didn't decide when mutant powers manifested. He sighed softly as he swapped parts and continued cleaning. This was going to be his first year out of high school. He didn't actually know what happened next. Did he stay here and go to college? He was sure the teachers could actually do that, but he wasn't sure if they actually did. He was technically part of the X-Men now, but he felt like he needed to go to college at the same time. It was confusing.
Inazuma zipped around the mansion like a blue lightning bolt, checking to make sure she hadn't forgotten anything in her rush that morning. So far no. Good! She zipped back towards her room and skidded to a stop in front of Charlie's open door. "HI CHARLIE!" She basically shouted. The sparks still fizzling out around her body showed what she'd just been doing. She grinned at the other girl, then happened to notice her dad. "HI MR. DAREDEVIL!" She waved enthusiastically with her entire arm as she greeted the man.
Lilith sighed softly as she looked around for her younger sister. Where had she run off to? She'd finally gotten their room clean and organized, but now she was trying to find her sister to make sure she was ready for the new year to start. Her sister had had a much easier time than her growing up. Their mother hadn't been as serious about keeping an eye on her, since Lilith had been around to watch over her. That also meant she'd had more freedom, whereas Lilith had kind of been stuck in the rut she'd been put into. She wasn't mad at her sister, or jealous, she was completely alright with the paths that had been laid out before them. It wasn't like they could completely control what happened at younger ages.

Aurora checked the perimeter, before flipping a few pages into the book, and continuing the half-finished drawing that was there. It was of a wolf, a Grey Wolf - a very good one, in fact, but she didn't think that it was very good. She didn't want anybody to see her drawings, especially not her drawings of The Pack Of The Lost. She knew that she was safe at the school, that she didn't have to hide anymore, but she had been employing hiding techniques, such as this one, for so long, it almost felt imprinted on her soul. The instinct to hide her powers was there now, and it wasn't about to go away any time soon.

Charlie blinked in surprise a little startled. The energy and excitement exerted from Inazuma was intense and hit her hard. "Oh. Hey Circuit, how's it going?"Charlie nodded back at her, still a little phased by her sudden appearance.
Mr. Murdock on the other hand had sensed her coming and wasn't as taken by surprise. "Hi there kiddo. Nice to meet you,"he nodded at the young girl before looking back at his daughter. "I think I'm going to go talk to your teachers. But I'll see you kid. Love you,"he said, kissing the top of Charlie's head before walking out, cane folded up in his hand.
"Hey!"Tony called out as he saw Aurora walking about. She was very quiet and heavily engrossed in whatever book she was holding.

Inazuma stepped aside to let Matt leave the room, before zipping into Charlie's room to take his place. "I can't believe you have such a cool dad Charlie. Daredevil is like, the most famous vigilante out there." She flopped onto Charlie's bed and looked up at her as she swung her legs over the edge. "So, what's up?" Inazuma probably had a love/hate relationship with literally everyone. She was fun to be around, except when you were the target of her pranks. Then it got annoying, and it's where the hate part came in.

Caitlyn popped a piece of gum in her mouth and tugged on the shoulder strap of her backpack. The object in question was quite old and beat up and had a shoulder strap adjustor that tended to slip. The problem was only exacerbated by her tendency to wear only one strap over her left shoulder, and it resulted in pretty constant readjusting. She could probably get a new backpack, easily, but she didn't want to out of a combination of laziness and sentimentality. It could easily last the next few years, and then she wouldn't need it anymore anyway. Why waste a new backpack when this worked just fine? The pack might be worn, but it served its purpose, much like her other clothing: a simple black tank-top with some band's name on it, a baggy white hoodie, and a pair of faded jeans that were fraying at the heels and knees. Overall she probably looked like some hoodlum walking down the hall, especially in the decidedly fancy building that was her school, but she didn't care much.
The inline skates hanging on the side of her pack easily told someone what she'd been doing for the past hour. They were much like her outfit in that they were older and of a simpler variety with no frills attached. Unlike her clothes and her backpack, these skates had clearly been taken care of more often, as they were clean and only appeared a little worn. She hadn't asked but she was pretty sure she wouldn't be allowed to wear them in the building, hence why they were strung on a thick cord by their straps and handing on her pack. Looking up from her thoughts, she finally saw her sister at the other end of the hallway. Was she looking for her? Weird. Hadn't Caitlyn said she was going to go take a look around campus? Maybe not, now that she thought about it. The hallway seemed pretty clear so she did a kind of skipping motion, not really a jump, but a way to get both feet of the ground and still be moving laterally. Then she concentrated and accelerated herself, causing most of the lights in the hall to dim momentarily while she absorbed their energy. After a moment she stopped and landed lightly on the other end of the hall. She could have tried accelerating while walking, but she'd learned that it was very easy to trip that way- and it was very painful to trip while going twenty miles an hour.
"Hey sis," she said nonchalantly and smiled. "Were you looking for me? I thought I told you were I was going..." Caitlyn asked, looking to her for a reaction. Lilith didn't speak, but she'd never had very much trouble understanding her and communicating with her. Her sister was more straightlaced than she was and probably hadn't taken kindly to being left alone to deal with their room. She resolved to make up for it later somehow.

Matthew was in the library perusing the books. He'd read most everything in there that was for casual reading, so he'd opted to head towards the back where larger, more scientific books were held. One caught his eye; something about the psychological effects of mutation on human behavior. He quickly skimmed a random page in the middle, concluding from that perusal that the author had no idea what they were talking about. He shelved it and kept looking, acutely aware of how much of a nerd he must look right now. He pulled up the sleeve of his plaid shirt- he'd rolled them up to his elbows but his arms were just a tad too thin to keep his sleeves there. The shirt had a black, blue, and white pattern and he wore a plain white T-shirt underneath as well as dark jeans. Nothing fancy, but not slobby or trashy either. Eventually he found a few books and checked them out. One was a breakdown of how electricity moved through both conductive and non-conductive mediums, which he felt might be useful to him. He understood the basics, of course, and his power came with an instintual sense of how to control it somewhat, but he didn't know the actual science behind generating or transmitting it. The other ones were lighter reading than that- just random fiction stories that he hadn't read yet, surprisingly. He stuffed the books in his backpack and started to head down to the day room, hoping he would be able to find a chair and read for a while quietly. Of course, this was Professor X's school, so that was unlikely, but he could hope.

Lilith had just turned a corner when she spotted her younger sister down the hall. She smiled, then blinked in surprise when she suddenly moved from one side of the hall to another in one quick motion. She kept her smile though, looking Caitlyn up and down. She'd been out skating, that much was obvious. She'd done her best to keep in contact with her sister while she'd been here at Xavier's for the last 8 years, so she knew enough about her to at least pretend to know what she was about. She nodded, then shook her head in response to Caitlyn's words. She wasn't mad. To be honest, she'd gotten so into setting up their room and making sure it was clean, that she hadn't even noticed that Caitlyn had left until she'd finished. She raised her hands to begin signing, 'Don't worry about it. I was just looking for you to see if you had everything ready for the school year to start.'

Charlie laughed a little. "Yeah, I guess so. He seems cool. But as a dad? He's very uncool and kind of very protective,"she grinned, knowing her dad could probably still hear her from far down the hall. "My mom is the cool one, in reality,"she said grinning, referring to Elektra Natchios. "What's up...not much really. Just finishing unpacking. What about you?"she asked Inazuma.
Tony smiled walking over to her,"are you new?"he asked with a grin.

Inazuma grinned, looking up at Charlie with her uncovered eyes. It was actually a little hard to tell where she was looking exactly, seeing as her eyes were pure blue orbs. "Sounds like my parents to be honest." She put her arms behind her head as she stayed laying on Charlie's bed. "Oh you know. Ran around a bit, unpacked, ran around some more, came here, the usual stuff. I actually set up a prank for someone, but I like to keep those cards close to me chest. Better if there aren't rumors roaming around and the person gets a warning."
