Hello! My name is Featherbreeze, and I will be rating your Warrior cat OCs! Just post them below and I will rate them - hopefully within 24hrs of when they were posted although it is usually about 3-4 days. To get a quicker response, you can tag me in your post. Now, I might be a little harsh, but remember: It is just my opinion. My views may be different to yours. Rules1. Do not complain about your names' ratings. 2. Only 12 names per post. You may have less than 12, but no more. I do not want to rate long lists of names. 3. I only rate fan-made names. I will not rate a cannon character's name. 4. I only rate two-part names (not kit or apprentice) or tribe names. No kittypet, rogue, loner, etc, names. If you are doing a leader name, please also give me the warrior name. 5. I will not rate a name I have already rated unless my opinion on said name is drastically different. 6. I will rate names based on the way the name sounds, not the character itself. Ratings0 - I hate this name. It is probably one of the worst names out there. Your skill at finding detestable names impresses me greatly. You win a prize. 1-2 - This name is terrible. Nothing for you. 3-4 - I dislike this name, but I wouldn't complain about it. It is definitely not a good name, but it is not bad, either. Nothing for you. 5-6 - This name is OK but not amazing. I wouldn't look twice if I saw this name. Nothing for you. 7-8 - I quite like this name, it is nice and works well. You win a prize! 9-10 - This name is amazing! I am thoroughly impressed by this name! You win two prizes! 11+ - This name is one of the best names I have ever heard. It is so amazingly perfect and amazing I will mention you and your name below! You win three prizes! PrizesNamesSkythorn Stormwing Bravebird Twist in tail once straight (Twist) Frost on leaf bone-dry (Frost) KitsRussetkit - Shiny, thick-furred ted tom-kit with honey-yellow eyes. He is an eager kit who is always happy and ready to leap into battle at a moment's notice. He is fiercely loyal and doesn't bother with mundane activities. Vinekit - Black she-kit with white markings (stripes, spots, mits, whatever; you decide!) and leaf-green eyes. She has a slim, narrow build and an angular face with large ears. Vinekit is sly and sneaky, knowing exactly how to get what she wants. She can easily manipulate a cat into doing whatever she wants although feels no remorse over doing so. Vinekit is talented in multiple fields and views very highly of herself, believing strongly she will one day be know as Vinestar, leader of __Clan. Lionkit - Large, strong, golden tom-kit with a large plume of thicker, longer, lighter fur around his neck similar to a lion' mane. He has firm, amber eyes and is very wise for his age, keeping the other kittens in line with his mentor-like demeanor. He would make a great leader. Hall Of FameNo one here, yet

Loststar (Lostfoot) - Although I really like Loststar as a name, despite it not flowing that well and being mildly common, I dislike the use of -foot with an imaginative prefix without reason. If it is because the cat lost a paw, I would rate Lostfoot a 4. If there is no reason, then I would rate Lostfoot a 3. I rate Loststar a 6. Faithflight - This name doesn't flow well and is very hard to pronounce because of the near-rhyming. It doesn't sound or look nice (in my opinion) and I rate it a 2. Wishstar (Wishbreeze) - I quite like this name in both its Leader and Warrior form. I rate both names 6. Good job! Skywish - I personally dislike the use of -sh at the end of words since, when I say it with any form of volume, it can sound harsh and unpleasant. I think this name does not flow well when spoken although looks quite nice so I rate it a 3. No prizes for you, sorry. Sorry if I was too harsh! Cricketpounce - There's nothing special about this name and it is fairly average. I can see it is fairly similar to Squirrelflight as having a creature as the prefix and a verb as a suffix. I rate it a 5. Cedarsmoke - I quite like this name although I do not like the alliteration. When done right, alliteration can compliment a name, but I think it just doesn't work here. I don't think Cedar- can go with much well but I really like -smoke as a suffix. Maybe try a different type of tree like Birchsmoke or Beechsmoke. One-syllable words are what you'd look for to go with -smoke, I think. I rate Cedarsmoke a 4. Willowcurl - This name sounds quite nice! I like the way it flows nicely and sounds soft although not shy. I think it would work best as a modern SkyClan name or a name in a Clan with similar naming conventions. I rate it a 7. You win a prize! Dawnwatcher - I really quite like this name! It sounds pleasant despite being unique and really quite uncommon! Although this name would certainly stand out in a Clan full of Blacktails and Mintgaze, Dawnwatcher scores an 8! You win another prize! (This would also work well as a Wings of Fire name for a Nightwing!) Foxtrail - I have a rather strong aversion to -trail and Fox- being used in names since it is hard to find something that goes well with them, so I rate this name a 3, although mostly due to personal preference. Shellclaw - I do not like the use of Shell- in names and Shellclaw is a rather common name, even having a varient of it being used in the books. However, this will not deter me from rating it, since I'm guessing the similarities with Shell Claw were a coincidence, so I rate this name a 5. Bramblepath - I dislike the use of -path in names and I also dislike names similar to main cannon characters so, judging on name alone, Bramblepath gets a 4, however, it gets a 3 when you take into account the existance of baby murder-face Brambleclaw. Sparrowdive - I don't think Sparrowdive flows very well, so I give it a 4. Well done! You get two prizes for two high-scoring names! I'm sorry if I was too harsh!

Ospreyflight - I quite like the creativity of this name although it can be a bit of a mouthful, so I rate this name a 5. Shaderose - I really like how short and snappy this name is and how it flows well. I rate this name an 8. Very well done indeed! Sagewhisker - This is a name in the warriors cannon. Sagewhisker is the name of a Yellowfang's ShadowClan medicine cat mentor, although she isn't exactly a well-known cat, so I will still rate it anyway and this will not detract from your score. Sagewhisker has a nice, wise tone to it. I can quite clearly visualise the name in my head and it sounds pretty good. I rate Sagewhisker a 7. Congratulations! You win two prizes for two high-scoring names! OoC ::
CreamCrow - Cream- is quite hard prefix to use, rarely often sounding good. That mixed with alliteration and the fact that I dislike using most nouns at the end of names really irks me. Another thing is that cats probably wouldn't know what cream was - well, wild ones anyway - so this name gets a 4 from me.
Blacktail - As many others have said before, the name Blacktail is pleasant to say and flows well, although it is extremely common and I prefer more imaginative names than just ones blatantly describing appearance. This name gets a 5
Sugarnose - Do cats know what sugar is? I tend to ignore things like these, though, because Sugarnose could have a reason for having Sugar- as a prefix. This name would fit right in to the Warrior Cats cannon, but probably not as a main character. Despite my first reaction to this name being: 'This is bland!' I can see deeper meaning in it, making Sugarnose insightful, metaphoric name. Because of this, I rate Sugarnose a 7.
Bugpelt - This name makes me imagine not very pleasant beetles in a cat's fur or a bug-cat hybrid. I'm sorry but this name is - to me at least, - unpleasant, so Bugpelt gets a 2.
IC :: words Sorry if I was too harsh! You win one prize for one high-scoring name. (Also, is it supposed to be CreamCrow or Creamcrow?) Tawnyfur - It isn't very hard to come up with names like this and I view it as not being very imaginative and I prefer more imaginative names than just ones blatantly describing appearance, although Tawnyfur does flow well and is pleasant to say, so Tawnyfur scores a 6. Oakclaw - My brother had an OC named Oakclaw, but the name 'Oakclaw' seems a little generic, as both Oak- and -claw are common name parts, so I rate it a 6. Robinbright - I dislike the use of the word 'bright' as a suffix because it just seems odd to me. This is mostly down to personal preference, but Robinbright scores a 4. Lilystorm - Although this name is imaginative, 'Lillystorn' doesn't make sense. It's not that the words don't go together, since I actually like nonsensical names, but the name just seems a little off. I personally think 'Stormlilly' sounds a bit better, but that's just my opinion, and Lillystorm gets a 5. Blacktail - As many others have said before, the name Blacktail is pleasant to say and flows well, although it is extremely common and I prefer more imaginative names than just ones blatantly describing appearance. This name gets a 5. Robinclaw - The name 'Robinclaw' seems a little generic, as both Robin- and -claw are common name parts, so I rate it a 6. Sparrowfeather - It isn't very hard to come up with names like this and it seems a little generic, as both Sparrow- and -feather are common name parts - it's so generic that 'Sparrowfeather' was used as a name for two different cats in the warriors series! Because of the earlier reasons, I rate Sparrowfeather a 6. Emberblaze - This name doesn't quite flow well, so I rate it a 5. Sorry, you didn't win anything this time. You came quite close, though. If you try again with different names you probably will get a higher-scoring name. Cricketsong - I quite like this name in concept, but it doesn't flow that well and so gets a 5.
Fallenrain - To me, this name sounds more like a tribe name than a warrior name, since I dislike names that use past-tense words. Although it is mostly due to personal preference, Fallenrain gets a 4.
Waspwing - I dislike the prefix Wasp- because it is quite harsh. From me, Waspwing gets a 4, however it is mostly due to personal preference.
Sandflower - This name sounds quite nice so it gets a 7.
Welldone! You scored one high-scoring name so you get one prize! Skyflight - I don't really have much to say about this name, but it sounds nice and is more creative than, say, 'Greyfur' or something. Because of this, Amberlily gets a 7 from me. Boldwhisker - This is a unique but not too stand-out name. Boldwhisker flows well but what tips it over to a 7 is how it takes a little more thought to come up with names such as this one. Amberlily - I don't really have much to say about this name, but it sounds nice and is more creative than, say, 'Greyfur' or something. Because of this, Amberlily gets a 7 from me. Echoleap - This name is quite creative, although the suffix and prefix don't quite go together perfectly, I personally like the way 'Echo' works with the 'l' at the beginning of 'leap'. Echoleap gets a 7. Embertail - This name has a nice ring to it. It is pleasant and scores a 7. Wow! You made some great names. You win four prizes for four high-scoring names! Very well done indeed!

Lynxfeather - I quite like this name! Lynxfeather scores a 7 for creativity and flow. Breezeheart - 'heart' is supposed to symbolise bravery and courage, often paired with noble-sounding prefixes such as 'Lion', 'Tiger', and 'Fire'. Breezeheart just sounds odd. I rate Breezeheart a 4. Flamestream - I dislike the way this name flows. Flame- is hard to work with and does not go well with -stream. I rate this name a 3. Nightmoon - This name sounds a little clunky. The prefix and suffix don't match and it gets a 4. Swiftshadow - OMG. This name sounds so nice! The alliteration works well in this case and it is very original! Swiftshadow gets a 9 from me. Well done! You win three prizes for two high-scoring names! Thanks! I'll skip on the prizes; I just want to try for the Hall of Fame, haha! Winterfeather - This name just doesn't flow well. It is pretty in concept but it falls short. I rate Winterfeather a 5. Hollowstep - I dislike 'step' as a suffix but this name just doesn't make sense. I like nonsensical names but, when using 'step', they seem odd if they don't make sense. Cindershadow - This name is nice but the syllable count stops it from scoring above an 8. Eagleheart - I dislike the suffix -heart because it is just so over-used, but Eagleheart sounds quite nice so it achieves a 6. Whitebreath - Although being unique, 'breath' makes it seem like the cat is sick and 'Whitebreath' sounds like 'Whitecough'. Because of this, I rate Whitebreath an unfortunate 2. Blackfern - This is a unique and nice-sounding name. Blackfern scores an 8 from me. No hall of fame this time but some of your names were on the right track! Keep trying and you'll get there eventually
