▹history
September 21, 2014, is the day the sky fell. Meteors shot across the sky all over the world, but they all hit in one place- Granville City. There had been great damage to all who had lived in Granville; homes destroyed and perhaps the loss of a close family member; however, today the City thrives while still remembering it's harsh past. Ever since the day the sky fell, strange occurrences have become more frequent and civilians are becoming suspicious. "Is it the government playing with us?" More and more conspiracy theories are being released to the public about 'what' they are seeing and 'why' it is happening; however, the truth is that not one person knows how or why these "strange occurrences" happened in the first place. A wide variety of people received abnormal abilities on September 21, 2014. Some may use it for good, while others may choose to use it for evil. There's also a spot few who may just use it as their own, not to help any others- however, this has created an unsafe system for the normal civilians, and anyone can be put in danger. It's truly the choice of these 'enhanced' humans to use their abilities to become a known hero or a known villain, the city's future lies within their hands- no mere human could stop them without capable technology, which brings us to today. Jax Jones, Chairman of the GCPD (Granville City Police Department) started a new system after he became one of the 'enhanced' humans. The GCPD slowly transitioned into a Hero Association, where the humans with abilities could bring good use to saving the city. Although things seemed to be getting better, it ended up becoming slightly off-balanced due to the sudden rise of multiple gangs and groups of people who also received abilities, however used them for evil. At the moment, the largest gang in Granville City is "Grim Reapers" which had originally been started by Simone Hollister aka. "Vulture" who had been a great ability user; known for "eating her opponents alive" with her ability to control the darkness within shadows
