Lol, okay.
Ummmm personally, I think we should stay away from names that are hard to pronounce.

We could say that scientists developed powers in the wolves, but that would lead to human involvement...
The gods could gift the wolves with powers, but we would need something to prove the pack's worth.

We want to make sure the plot isn't all over the place as well. So we'll have to tie in both humans and gods.

Sticking to the Norse idea will work. Out of the ones you have I am inclined to say I like the second one.

Ok. Well, I've started the History. It's only a rough draft, and it's not really detailed so far. xD I'll edit it and add more as I think of it. I just wanted to get some of it up. I'll be on more today. x)
History Generations ago, there was a group of 7 wolves with different builds that were captured separately by humans. Scientists to be specific. These scientists experimented on this group of wolves, and they experimented on each wolf differently. The group of wolves had finally gotten enough of being tortured with experiments, and they all devised a plan to escape after much bickering due to differing opinions and no-cohesiveness at the start. The next time they were let out(since every wild animal needs to go out lest they become more difficult to control), the larger wolves would distract the scientists by fighting with each other while 3 smaller wolves would dig holes under the fence and to freedom, and the last 2 wolves would be the lookout for the digging wolves and tell the "fighting" wolves when the tunnels were almost done.
Their plan worked, and the wolves ran free, happy and playing with each other. Suddenly, the two brothers of the group stopped and became somber as they stood face-to-face with a larger than normal black wolf. The brothers bowed, and the large wolf looked at the other wolves.
"Rise, my sons, and introduce me to the wolves who aided you in escape."
The brothers did so while the large wolf examined the group of wolves. When Skoll and Hati, the brothers, finished, the large wolf spoke.
"I am Fenrir, god and creator of the wolves. I created your ancestors, and in return, you help my sons, Skoll and Hati escape. For that, I will reward you."
The remaining 5 wolves were stunned yet scared since Fenrir radiated dominance as if her could easily destroy them(which he could). Fenrir went through the group one by one, giving them powers in addition to their longer fangs and claws created by the scientists.
To Illusion, a small light grey fae, who later became the Healer, he bestowed the power of visions so that he, the other gods, and the spirits could communicate with the wolves.
To Eclipse, a lithe black fae, who was the first Hunter, Fenrir bestowed the powers of super speed and stealth.
To Dragon, a broad-shouldered brown brute, who was the first Fighter, Fenrir bestowed the powers of super strength and enduring stamina.
To Spiritsoul, a bit but lean white brute, who became the first Beta, a pair of wings and the other powers previously bestowed minus visions was bestowed onto him by Fenrir.
And lastly, to Void, a big, broad-shouldered black and white brute, who became the first Alpha, a pair of wings and all the powers that Void's friends received(and some undiscovered powers) was bestowed onto him by Fenrir.
When Fenrir was done, he said,"Use what was given to you well. Create a Pack and let the gifts you have move through generations.
With the last statement, Fenrir, Skoll, and Hati disappeared. After a few moments in silence, the group of now 5 wolves gathered and discussed what to do. They all agreed to find a territory they all liked and recruit wolves to join their group so that they could make a pack like Fenrir told them to do, and they moved off to follow through with their plan.
As they wandered around, they gained more and more wolves. When they settled down on the mountain the pack still resides on, they organized themselves into ranks, and Illusion received a vision for a way for the new wolves to gain their power, which would end up becoming a ceremony of the Pack as the years passed.
The new wolves went to The Spirit Cave and touched The Soul Pool where they communicated with Fenrir for their powers and longer fangs and claws. When they returned, a couple of wolves didn't have any powers, and the one pregnant fae had new powers the original 5 wolves didn't have. Therefore, the ranks of Omega and Pup-Mother was created, and the Pack kept growing and adapting, and they still are growing and adapting.

I'm here.
Just saying, but if you have gods with names that are hard to pronounce, hard to remember, and are hard to spell; that is usually a turn off to most. I don't care what mythology we use, but it also needs to make sense to use that mythology. Like clan cats following Egyptian based gods. I hope this makes sense...
For the history, we could involve the mythology in some aspect. Also, it would be good not to spotlight a certain character right away in the story.

Okay.
The whole group should probably come up with the plan so that they'd have to work together.

I agree with Shatter on the names. Also tying in the norse mythology will also be really important if we want it to make sense.

Isn't there a norse god who was a wolf or could turn into one? Fenrir right?

That could work. It could be a tie in for norse mythology. Are you thinking they got their gifts for helping the son of a god escape?
