☁︎ out of character ☁︎ is the characters sure, there are some who are unlikeable and plain bland, but i still think that it is something that hooks people in, or at least, hooks me in. whether you like needletail or hollyleaf or not, there is bound to be at least one person in the fandom who will keep on reading because they want to see what their favourite is up to. warriors, with its large cast, there's bound to be at least a few characters who you sympathise with or enjoy reading about. it's different for everyone, but it is something that unites us all. to leave this post open for discussion, who is your favourite ? what draws you to this series ?

I'm not really sure what my favorite thing is. The point about there being someone for everyone definitely makes sense.
I don't know what I would have said was the biggest strength back when I was still reading it, but I think the reason I haven't left the fandom (despite no longer reading the books) has a lot to do with the worldbuilding. I mean, it's not the most developed world; it has plenty of holes and stuff; but it's just such a compelling setup for a story (similar to how Hogwarts lends itself readily to fanfiction).
And with the characters…even the ones I don't consider well developed…there are so many interactions, and it's easy to talk about most of them. There's a lot of stuff to talk about. The series…should probably have ended by now (I'm not badmouthing AVOS I'm just saying it's a huge series), but on the other hand, more books means more characters, more plot points--if you leave, then you're missing out on something. And it's unfortunate that they're rushed, but at the same time, the new information is coming constantly. There isn't really time to get bored with what you have, unless you're bored with the series as a whole.

While the overall development of the characters is heavily lacking, there are a few gems in the mix that kinda make up for it.
I personally continue reading for the reason that I came this far, why stop now? I need to know how this all ends lol. If it ever does.

I just like the series and read it for the sake of reading it honestly. But I also hate coming so far, only to stop at a cliffhanger.

I enjoy the ceremonies, as there's something that makes Warriors stand out from a lot of other books. Not to mention most of them are written fairly well.
