PheonixClan
"Thistlepaw!" yelled Amberhawk, seeing her from her position. "Get back here!"
Smokeclaw and Ruinpaw looked up at Amberhawk's voice. Smokeclaw frowned as he began to head in the direction of the apprentice. ****************************************************************************************************************
GriffinClan
Foxgriffin slowed down, feeling slightly sick. He hissed as he saw Tyrunt.
Lionclaw nodded at headed toward the exit, waiting for the rest of the group.
"Who is the third?" asked Flameheart in a bored tone, flicking his tail in silent anger. (Feel free to slap him, sparrow.) **********************************************************************************
DragonClan
Darkstep sat outside a few mouselengths away from camp, sobbing.
Staghorn found her, alone, and sat down next to the black and white she cat.
Blackpool walked over to the fresh kill pile and nodded at Waterslash. He rolled out an egg and opened it. ***********************************************************************************
PegasusClan
Flowerstep quickly went up the tree, being as careful as she could. As the wren sang in, Flowerstep put a paw on the branch. However, the branch moved, sending the wren into the air in fright. Flowerstep hissed in anger as it disappeared. ****************************************************************************************************
HydraClan
Quillhydra was running circling in camp. His eyes were wide as he tripped on a stick.
Goldenpaw finally woke up, with a yawn. She stepped out of the apprentice's den, seeing Treeheart and Seapelt leave the camp. ***********************************************************************************
Guardians
"That all we can do," answered Rachel, nodding at Snowbranch. "The spirits will help you... I wouldn't worry too much."
Tyrunt leaped onto Foxgriffin, biting down on his shoulder. "Stand still, you foxdung!"

PhoenixClan
Ternfeather missed her attack thanks to Emberpaw's movement, but also barely moved out of the way of Emberpaw's attack. She hit the ground, sending dust into the air. *****************************************************************************8
GriffinClan
Flameheart, after asking Hushclaw the question, just glared at Cinderclaw.
"Martinpaw is nothing more than tratior's blood," he growled. "It's Bloodberry that killed our last leader and Vixenclaw. Those kits don't deserve pity!" ***************************************************************************
Guardians
"Wait!" stated Raiden, almost facepalming. "We can get faster. I can teleport the both of us!"
"The Guardians are not a clan," Rachel answered her. "We are here to try and protect the peace of the clans... To know the true history of the clans... We still have clan names, but we use our birth names. It is better this way... As not everyone likes how the clans are set up... Everyone has a choice."

PhoenixClan
Emberpaw backed up once he'd sent his mentor tumbling. He backed up, waiting for her to recover and also giving him a chance to regain some feeling in his limbs.
--
GriffinClan
Cinderclaw could feel his mate glaring at Flameheart and he sighed. "The crime of the parent is not the crime of the kit," was the only thing he said. He remembered how Emberpaw had wanted so badly to break away from his father and had found a way into another clan. To escape the crimes of his father, you could say.
--
Guardians
Tyr paused, and sighed. Teleporting always made him feel slightly sick, which was why he had temporarily forgotten. But he supposed that it would get them to the kits faster. "Fine," he said.

PheonixClan
Ternfeather slowly stood up, shaking the dust off of her fur. She closed her eyes as she turned to face Emberpaw. **********************************************************************************
GriffinClan
Flameheart just snorted and dug his claws into the ground. "Bloodberry was nothing but evil... His kits will never be any better." *****************************************************************************
Guardians
"Everyone has a place," pointed out Rachel. "The Warriors are the fighters and protectors. The Crafters create need ideas while the Medics heal. The Assassins fight against foxes, badgers, and the Nightmares: Nurses help care for the kits when they go to the clans. The Scouts find anything that we need in the territory outside..."
Raiden put his paw on Tyr and quickly teleported next to Snowbranch.

Pheonixclan
Thistlepaw jumped, startled. Oh right. Amberhawk could see her too. She darted back across the border and began marking it, her body rigid as she tried to look inconspicuous.
Griffinclan
Hushclaw shot Flameheart an annoyed glance, not appreciating the attitude, "Not you." He turned back and was about to ask Hawthornstripe more directly when he noticed her own glare and he registered what Cinderclaw and Flameheart were talking about. He turned around and spoke in a hard tone, "On second thought, I think a border patrol would be good for you." Hushclaw flickered over to the camp entrance and called, "Lionclaw, Flameheart, let's go!"
Wheatwing had quieted down and was watching the tense argument anxiously. She picked at her fish, avoiding eye contact when it looked like a clanmate was looking in her direction.
Dragonclan
Waterslash returned the nod with a nonchalant flick of her tail and finished up the mess that was inside the egg. It wasn't all that tasty or big, but it was somehow filling.
Pegasusclan
Glassheart approached the sparrows undetected. At one point she rustled a sad looking bush and a couple birds flew off startled. But upon seeing no threat, the birds fluttered back down with their flock. They were pecking at the seeds the tree above them had dropped. Glassheart sprang, a little sloppy, but pretty good considering how recent she'd learned to hunt at all. She crashed down onto a pair of the birds, scattering the flock, who shrilled in horror as two of their own were snapped flat by an unseen force that smelled like cat! Glassheart turned visible and picked up the two dead sparrows by their feet.
Hydraclan
Hemlockpaw tried to aim the sparks better, but after another eight or so failures, he slipped out of the den, fur still a little grimy from the soot. He was greeted with the sight of Quillhydra on the ground. Confused, he padded over, a little nervous about talking to the leader, as odd a leader as Quillhydra was, "Um, are you okay?"
Guardians
Riddle gained on Foxgriffin with Tyrant slowing him. As he got close, Riddle was able to intensify the loss of balance and nausea that came with it. He glared at Foxgriffin and spat, "What do you think you're doing?"
Snowbranch flinched back at Raiden and Tyr's sudden appearance, "Oh, Hey! You startled me!" As she caught her breath, she looked between the two toms with concern, "Is something wrong?"

PhoenixClan
Emberpaw was still tense as he waited to see what would happen between him and his mentor. Why was she closing her eyes?
--
Griffinclan
Hawthornstripe, fur still puffed up a little from Flameheart's words, looked at Hushclaw. "Am I to come as well?" she asked, eyes a little hesitant.
Cinderclaw flicked his ear, not up for dealing with tempermental clanmates today. Not more than he already had. He walked away, knowing his mate could take care of herself.
-- Guardians
Tyr tried not to throw up. Leaving Raiden to answer questions he limped away on his three shaky paws. Oh, he really hated doing that. The world was tilting at an odd angle and everything!

Hushclaw tipped his head in a negative to Hawthornstripe, "No. However, when Laurelwing returns, I want you to lead a patrol along the Dragonclan border with her and Martinpaw. I suspect she'll be returning to camp with Bluefang and the apprentices. Make sure you've all eaten before you go." Reminding them to eat felt like he was kitsitting, but he felt that left unchecked, Laurelwing would run her apprentice into the ground. Might as well make it an order.

PheonixClan Smokeclaw and Ruinpaw came up behind Thistlepaw. Smokeclaw frowned at the apprentice. "Thsitlepaw," mewed Smokeclaw. "We do not cross the border, no matter what! What if the HydraClan border patrol was here?" Amberhawk flew by the border, checking out everything, but never crossing it. Ternfeather sighed, then leaped at Emberpaw. ********************************************************************************************** GriffinClan Flameheart snorted as he stood up, then headed toward the camp exit. His tail flicked in anger. "Traitors don't deserve pity," he stated. Lionclaw was waiting for the two, digging her claws into the ground. Foxgriffin hissed at Tyrunt bit down on his shoulder. "Get off of me!" he hissed, feeling very ill. "I'm leaving so bug off!" **************************************************************************************** Dragonclan "Was Littledragon bullying Darkstep again?" Blackpool asked Waterslash, licking his face. "Dumb mousebrain..." He finished up the egg then carefully picked up the eggshell pieces. Quickstep stepped out of the Scout's den, yawning. ******************************************************************************** PegasusClan Flowerstep carefully leaped down from the tree after climbing down a few mouselengths down it. She felt something under her paw and saw there was a dead baby mouse. She frowned at the mess. "That is going to take forever to clean!" she thought with a huff. *****************************************************************************************8 HydraClan (Hydra got the crazy, yet good leader. ) "Hello, did the sun come out to play?" Quillhydra asked, dazed. "Because I don't want to wake up now, mommy..." Ashfox, who had been sitting on the sidelines, just looked on furiously at the leader. Goldenpaw just went to the fresh-kill pile and picked up a lizard. ******************************************************************************************* Guardians "You have to find that out for yourself," answered Rachel. "Even I can't tell you what you will be good at right now... Hello, father. What's up?" "Be prepared, Rachel," growled Raiden. "Foxgriffin is on his way. I wouldn't put it pass him to try something with the queens and kits..." Tyrunt just continued to bite down, trying to shaking the other tom in his anger.

Pheonixclan
Thistlepaw rolled her eyes with her back still turned to her clanmates and sighed heavily. A lecture. Typical. "Well, they weren't. Because I checked first. Because I'm not mousebrained. Honestly."
Griffinclan
Hushclaw began leading the patrol out and stated sharply, "You're right Flameheart. Traitors don't deserve pity. However, you seem to have forgotten that Martinpaw is not a traitor. You may suspect him all you like, but until he actually does something condemning, he's as innocent as you."
Wheatwing continued to eat after they had gone. She wanted to change the subject to something lighter, but wasn't certain how. Perhaps she'd seen something cool on her travels recently? Her ears flattened as she tried to think of something.
Dragonclan
Waterslash exhaled in a bored tone, "YEah." She scraped the egg shells in the direction of the dirtplace. She'd hoped going to camp would distract her thoughts, but this was actually so boring she preferred the troubling thoughts she'd been wrestling with on her way back to camp. She better go work on a tunnel or something. That'd be more useful than hanging around here.
Pegasusclan
"Whaf's phat?" Glassheart's muffled voice came through the feathers crowding her mouth as she approached Flowerstep and the bloody smear at her feet.
Hydraclan
"Uh, I'm not... yes?" Hemlockpaw stuttered in confusion before gently pushing the leader with a paw, "Quillhydra, did you hit your head? Do you need to see a Medic?" Hemlock would have thought the behavior was normal if not for the whole laying on the ground and looking dazed bit.
Guardians
Riddle stomped his forepaw down with a hiss, pinning Foxgriffin's head to the dirt, and ground his paw down. "You haven't answered my question, Foxdung. Why were you on our territory?"
Snowbranch gasped. She'd heard rumors of Foxgriffin while in Hydraclan and had them confirmed after coming here, but she hadn't expected that particular danger to become any more than stories. She glanced around the open meadow and meowed, "Is there somewhere safer we should go?"

PheonixClan
Smokeclaw glared at Thistlepaw.
"It does not matter if you checked or not, Thistlepaw!" the deputy hissed, tone stern. "They can still smell you! Do you want to cause a battle becuase of your foolish actions? When Amberhawk is finished, she will decide your punishment!"
Ruinpaw just shivered as Smokeclaw told off Thistlepaw. **************************************************************************************
GriffinClan
Lionclaw followed Hushclaw, silent and stepping softly. Her claws dug into the ground as she walked.
Flameheart snorted. "Really?" he growled. "Then why let them live? We have too much poisoned blood in the clans... At least Lightningeyes only had that foxbrained Guardian, Rainbreeze. And she never had kits, thanks the legends!"
(Flameheart hate Lightningeyes/Raiden because his family had a branch that were rouges... And while Raiden was corrupted, he killed most of that rouge family. The survivors moved to the clans.... While his siblings don't hold anything against the Guardian, Flameheart does... That and he doesn't trust many non-clan cats, including the Guardians.)
Foxgriffin just snarled as he struggled under the two guardians' paws. ***************************************************************************************************
DragonClan
Blackpool took note of Waterslash's frustration and picked out a second egg.
"Hey Waterslash!" chirped Quickstep. "How are you today?" **********************************************************
PegasusClan
"A pile of blood," answered Flowerstep, trying to clean her paw. "Gross..." ***********************************************************************
HydraClan
"I'm okay!" mewed Quillhydra. "The rocks failed to hit me... What was I doing again?"
Goldenpaw began eating the lizard, refusing to even look at the crazy leader.
Ashfox just continued to frown. **************************************************************
Guardians
"We will protect you," vowed Raiden. "Foxgriffin will not harm anyone here."
"If we hear him," Rachel added on. "I will guide you up to some of the caves..."
Tyrunt continued to bite down.
(Sorry mint, Sparkly, I will answer yours later...)

PheonixClan
Emberpaw ducked, wondering why Ternfeather seemed tired or frustrated. Whatever that sigh had meant. He hoped he wasn't disappointing her.
--
GriffinClan
"Alright," said Hawthornstripe, dipping her head. She didn't like the idea. She wished to keep her grumpy clanmate and the apprentice apart for as long as possible, but if anyone had to go on the patrol, at least it was her. She walked over to the fresh-kill pile, but didn't take anything yet.

Guardians
Can I just stop feeling like the world's tilting? Tyr asked silently. He looked around at everyone, but their faces swam. Uuuuuh. This was why he'd just wanted to run...

Pheonixclan
Thistlepaw scoffed at Smokeclaw's lecture, but sat through it, only muttering a "Oh goodie" when he'd finished. Maybe she'd just roll in mushrooms or herbs next time to conceal her scent. Then lets see what Smokeclaw could moan about.
Griffinclan
Hushclaw decided not to point out that Flameheart had just questioned why Hushclaw bothered keeping Flameheart alive. The tom probably didn't even realize it. Was it physically impossible for the tom to conceive the fact that Martinpaw was innocent? Maybe thinking so narrowmindedly made the tragedy of what happened to his family easier somehow. Hushclaw narrowed his eyes at this thought. What an incredibly impractical way to deal with pain. The world might be black and white, but cats were not. Realizing he'd been silent for an odd amount of time, Hushclaw meowed, "My condolences, Flameheart." They were getting closer to the Guardian's border. Hushclaw noted that Foxgriffin seemed to have passed through here recently.
Dragonclan
Waterslash flinched at the greeting. Quickstep. Normally Waterslash actually enjoyed the perky tom's company. He was a good laugh. But at the moment, she had a lot of mental weight she wanted to work off. Not chat it up. She groaned inwardly, but tossed a strained smile in the direction of the scout, "Quickstep! What're you doing here? Shouldn't you be out..." Waterslash waved her paw in an undecided circle, "...y'know, out?"
Pegasusclan
"Yeah." She agreed. Glassheart set down the birds and began digging a hole to hide them in until later.
Hydraclan
Hemlockpaw shrugged with an 'I don't know' expression and, as he stepped away, mewed, "Good luck!" He walked the couple steps it took to get back to the den, but stopped as he suddenly noticed Goldenpaw eating. Hemlockpaw looked down at his soot covered paws, comparing them to Goldenpaw's own beautiful fur, and quickly began cleaning them. Once he didn't look quite so messy, the apprentice headed over to the fresh kill pile, nervous energy leaping around his gut. He picked out a piece of prey and sat down close to, but not right next to, Goldenpaw. He smiled in her direction, "Hi Goldenpaw."
Guardians
Riddle unsheathed his claws, pricking them against the side of Foxgriffin's head, "We aren't letting you leave until you explain yourself." Riddle lessened the intensity of the vertigo while Foxgriffin was pinned. Vertigo would make it hard for Foxgriffin to run in any sort of straight line, but there was no point in Riddle wearing himself out while Tyrant had his weight holding the crooked leader down. Riddle felt his already unhinged anger boiling higher at Foxgriffin's stubborn refusal to talk. If the scum was low enough to steal kits, then he should be low enough to admit it. Riddle's voice lowered threateningly, "Either you start talking or we send you back to your clan missing an eye."
Snowbranch nodded uncertainly, but her eyes now wouldn't stop roaming the edges of the meadow for unseen enemies.

PheonixClan
"That is enough for now," sighed Ternfeather, looking at her paw. "It seems that somehow, I got a thorn in my paw..."
Sure enough, there was a thorn in her paw with blood beginning to flow.
Smokeclaw hissed at Thistlepaw's reaction. Before he could say anything else, Amberhawk landed beside him. The tabby she cat just stared at her apprentice with disappoint on her face. ************************************************************************************************
GriffinClan
Flameheart just snorted at Hushclaw's words then also noticed Foxgriffin's scent.
"What?" mewed Lionclaw. "What is Foxgriffin doing?" Turning towards Hushclaw, she added, "Should we follow the trail? Just to see if he is doing something mousebrained again?"
"What makes you think that I'm after kits?" Foxgriffin snarled. "What if I just wanted to talk to my fellow leader in PhoenixClan? After all... I might have more little ones running around soon..." ***********************************************************************
DragonClan
"Er... I was... But I somehow upset a group of cats on my way," answered Quickstep, glancing around quickly. "Talk about crazy... I'm trying to lay low before I go back..."
Blackpool finished cleaning away the eggshells and was going into the Crafter's den to work. *******************************************************************
PegasusClan
Flowerstep began to lick her paw, getting frustrated. However, she did nod at Glassheart. "Nothing like a good bird..." she mewed between licks. "And you can even use the feathers in your nest afterwards." *****************************************************************************************************
HydraClan
"Okay, bye!" chirped Quillhydra, standing up. "See you soon!"
With that, Quillhydra dashed out of camp.
Goldenpaw glanced up at Hemlockpaw, keeping her face blank as she had been trained to do by her father. "Hello," she answered back, wanting to flinch at the soot on the tom's fur. ***************************************************************************************
Guardians
Raiden sighed right before taking a position within sight of Snowbranch in order to keep an eye on things.
Rachel just sat down with a sigh. "How did that cat become leader...?" she growled.
"And how are we suppose to believe that!" growled Tyrunt. "As much as I hate Rachel... You are one of the few cat that I would love to see end up under her 'acid rain!' Mousebrain fool!"

Pheonixclan
Thistlepaw's ears flattened at Amberhawk's expression. Lectures were one thing, but silence... Thistlepaw averted her eyes nervously, looking off into Pheonixclan territory. Her needle-like fur started to raise on end. She would not walk back to camp in awkward silence. She tried to break the quiet with a question, "So, how come Hydraclan territory looks like ours? I thought it was pines and stuff." Thistlepaw risked a curious glance in the warriors' direction, "Did they steal territory from us at some point?"
Griffinclan
Hushclaw nodded, changing his course to follow the scent. "It's best to. He didn't seem in the best mood when he left." He flickered several treelengths ahead, checked the trail, then another jump, immediately upping the pace. The scent went right over the border...into Guardian land. Hushclaw's ears swiveled as he thought he heard a hiss, muffled by the sound of water. They were near Star Oak. "Lionclaw, Flameheart, hurry up!" Hushclaw called over his shoulder as he crossed the border, knowing they wouldn't be far behind.
Wheatwing meowed, "Hey, did I ever tell you guys about that dog that followed me around for like a week?"
Dragonclan
Waterslash snorted, imagining what ridiculous thing he'd done to upset them, "Ha, yeah. Lay low." Then she got an idea, flicking her tail with an unusual pent up energy, "Hey, no place is lower than the tunnels. Want to see what we've been working on?"
Pegasusclan
Glassheart made a noise of agreement. She was mostly adjusted to the eating meat thing. At least her body was, even if sometimes it was strange to think about it. Glassheart really liked bird either way. No fur to remind Glassheart the bizarre role reversal, and feathers to soften up bedding. Not that they were in a feather shortage with the mess Gullfeather made earlier. And it tasted great.
Hydraclan
Hemlockpaw looked back at his prey, Goldenpaw's blank expression making him self-conscious. Then he piped in a friendly tone, confident he could get her talking if he picked the right topic, "So, your family is from Griffinclan, right? Did they tell you what it's like there?" He felt himself babble a little bit as he explained, "My mom's Hydraclan, so I haven't heard much about the other Clans. I haven't been to a Gathering or Honor Games yet, so I guess I could wait and find out, but why wait, right?" He quickly shut himself up and gave Goldenpaw his undivided attention.
Guardians
Riddle smiled in unsettling agreement with Tyrant and he hissed softly, "Foxbreath, we never said anything about kits." Catching the tom in his lie wasn't nearly as satisfying as Riddle would have hoped. The smug tom thought he could do whatever he wanted and get away with it. Honestly, after what had happened with Foxgriffin's last litter's Clan Choosing Ceremony, Riddle would be doing this unborn litter a favor by getting rid of their father now before he could screw them up too. Riddle yanked his paw off Foxgriffin's head, recoiling from that murderous thought. He steeled his expression though and spat, "If you're going to lie, at least try to be good at it."
Snowbranch tried to settle back down, but she couldn't get comfortable, knowing that a threat was on the territory. Quillhydra was peculiar, but she couldn't imagine having a cat like Foxgriffin as her leader.

PheonixClan
Emberpaw blinked. He hadn't expected that would happen, but he nodded his head a couple of times to show that he was ready to head back to camp. "Alright," he said in a quiet voice.
-- GriffinClan
"Nope!" said Hawthornstripe. "How exactly did that end up happening?" Her eyes were filled with strong hints of amusement, since clearly Weatwing was still here and whole. The dog probably hadn't been too much of a problem. "I highly doubt adopting a dog is a good idea."

Guardians
Most of the nausea had passed, but Tyr still looked a little green. "When this is done," he muttered under his breath. "I'm walking home." He didn't care how long it took. If he telepoted again today, he'd need medical care. He looked around, on high alert.

PheonixClan
"Sorry," mewed Ternfeather. "Later today, or when Ghostsight says it okay, we will be back."
Amberhawk just turned and glared at her apprentice as Ruinpaw opened then closed his mouth.
"I think that you need to visit the Guardians to understand why it isn't okay to cross the border," the tabby hissed. "You have shamed me today. I will speak and see if one of the Guardians will teach you." *******************************************************************8
GriffinClan
"Yes sir!" answered Lionclaw, stepping over the border.
Flameheart just stood at the border, giving an angry look over it. "Do we need over the border?"
Foxgriffin snarled and, somehow, clawed Tyrunt right across the cheek. "Why do I want any of those filth?" he asked. "They are weak!"
He got slapped by Tyrunt because of that. *******************************************************************************
DragonClan
"Sure!" he chirped as he shivered... "Though I will never be able to look at caves the same way again... It makes me sad to think about how many cats lost their lives there... The kits looked frightened... I.. May try to bring one of them back, if I can..."
Shaking his head, he added, "Maybe those scraps of metal I bought back will be of use to your tunnels..." ****************************************************************************************
PegasusClan
"Now, I need to do my part for the clan..." mewed Flowerstep as she sniffed the air. "Though I was wondering, what was it like to be a different creature than a cat? I had heard the stories of the Founders... Well, they say that Lightningeyes wasn't even a cat to begin with!" ***********************************************************************************
HydraClan
"My father was a jerk and my mother was foolish," answered Goldenpaw back with a snort. "And my littermates and I were not close. Foxpaw just wanted to follow in Foxgriffin's footsteps while Yarrowpaw just wanted to show that she wasn't a weakling. As for me, I just wanted a bit of freedom from my mother's nagging. And... All I know of GriffinClan is that they are stern and harsh. They are known for pushing their bodies to the limits... Almost everyone in that clan fights..." **********************************************************************************
Guardians
"Tyr," mewed Raiden as he glanced over. "Why don't you head back? You seem... ill."
Rachel flicked her ears and growled. "I wonder where Riddle and that mousebrain Tyrunt are?"
"You fool who does not deserve the title leader!" Tyrunt hissed. "There is only one cat that I see here that needs to be taken care off... And that is you!"
