I just got an idea. What if, instead of the traditional mentor-apprentice style training, we went with the method of having every cat under one of the two groups participate in training? Following the saying that it takes a village to raise a child? (Sorry for poofing, a ton of real life crap came up and I'm also focusing on my roleplay so my brain juices don't work well >.< I will come here whenever possible though) I like that idea, actually. Like, other cats can show the apprentice their own personal tips and tricks, so they'll learn more and also have a closer connection to all the other cats, as opposed to just their mentor.

Good idea, get more people interested so we don't only have the three of us starting out :3 And mods are a good idea too, if the roleplay becomes big

Waterfowl
These birds are known to make cats better swimmers and divers, sometimes even aiding cats that are starting to drown. Cats with these guides are fantastic swimmers and usually enjoy getting their paws wet.

Warrior Code- ✩ Defend your Clan, even with your life. ✩ Do not hunt or trespass on another cats' territory. ✩ Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating. ✩ Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to the spirits for its life. Birds are to be treated with the utmost respect when they are killed. ✩ A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice. ✩ Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name. ✩ A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice. ✩ The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled. ✩ After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh. ✩ Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats. ✩ No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is a rogue. ✩ The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code. ✩ An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense. ✩ A warrior rejects all contact with twolegs. ✩ A cat must have hunted for a spirit guide before becoming a warrior or a healer. Furthermore, a cat should never purposefully abandon their guid
This is where I plan on putting customs and ceremonies if you decide to make them. Ceremonies and Traditions
this is where I will place a divider Spirit Guides and their Abilities

Ooh! Bird list sounds cool! Maybe associate birds with cats personalities?
Swan- those that are guided by this bird are seen as beautiful, graceful, and pure. They are kind-hearted and normally are calm.
Crow- those that are guided by this bird are seen as cunning, daring, and full of tricks. These cats often use tricks to get out of situations and can be a bit manipulative and dishonest in nature.
Raven- those that are guided by this bird are considered intelligent, mysterious, and honest.
Owl- those that are guided by this bird are considered wise, collected, and trustworthy.
Eagle- those that are guided by this bird are considered brave, strong, and natural born leaders. These cats are take-charge and protect those around them.
(I can add more if you like this idea)

Ugh, time zones are the death of me. It's only 2:47 AM here. And I should probably be sleeping, since I'm tired and typically get up around 9:30 AM, but oh well. I'll be around all day tomorrow (today?), for the most part at least. So, wanna at least get some sort of baseline formed so that we can start on the mythos of the clan? Like, what started the whole brothers in flight belief? Yeah timezones can be annoying lol Sure! Maybe there's a cat who, in legend, could communicate with birds? And they ended up learning a lot of spiritual stuff from them? Meh, internet decided to be a butt. Anyways! I really like that idea! Like, maybe the cat learned certain healing methods from the bird? Or how to protect a group of cats? Maybe they were part of a group of rogues and everyone thought that they were crazy until something happened and the cat with the spirit guide somehow saved most of the group or prevented something from happening? Or as a completely separate idea, maybe a bird actually sacrificed itself to save a kit from something, and returned it to its family, but it kept visiting the kit throughout life, as a spirit. Ohh those are cool ideas... Maybe it could be a combination of these ideas, like a kit gets lost and a bird of some sort leads it home, and ends up feeling a connection their whole life. Then it grows into the cat that can communicate with birds?

(Okay great! I'll do three main traits per one and if you want to add you can! Do the cats all have bird names, or can it be something different?)

(Also, I know there are many types of geese, swans, ducks, etc. but I'm just going to do that for the overall, like one swan personality traits thing.)
Goose- those that are guided by this bird tend to be talkative, energetic, and a bit aggressive. They are easily angered and can and will snap at you when they are angry.
(GTG to bed. G'night!)
