Introduction: You look back at two-leg place, the horrid stench of it finally fading away as you walk into the woods, the fresh air wafting around you. As a traveler you start to head toward what seems to be a mountain in the distance. Your fur is pulled by brambles and bushes as you move further, the forest seems to close in on all sides and you hear life everywhere. Birds chirp above your head, squirrels jump through the branches, and other little critters skitter away from your paws and make a break for the trees, but you have no wanting to hunt. The "mountain" is now towering into the sky and you know your only a couple hours from it when a pressing, foreboding feeling creeps over your pelt... the feeling of being watched. You hear the trees rustle as birds take off all of a sudden and gulp, hearing something bigger than a bird land above you. Acting like you hadn't heard anything you continue to pad forward until all of a sudden a strong, bulky figure jumps on you from above and pins you down, making it where you can't turn to see who your attacker is. Taking a deep breath you start to get ready to buck the heavier cat off when you hear another rustle and right in your vision, a cat steps out from the bushes. She had pale white fur that sparkled under the trees and gray, black, and white flecks covering her face. Then, on her sides were... wings! She had a pair of dragon wings! You only heard about dragons from stories so knew what their wings were like and the scaly, oddly shaped masses on her sides were definitely dragon wings. The she-cat snaps your attention from her wings as she snaps at whoever was holding you down. "SnowHawk! Let that cat up now! I don't want our clan to be remembered as bad tempered beings who pin down helpless cats in the forest!" The cat snapped, her eyes shining in rage and compassion. He felt the cat, that he now distinguished as a tom, get off of him and move back, allowing you to get up. As you struggle up you turn and look at your attacker. Your eyes widen at the sight. Not only did this one have wings but he was also covered in scales! You look surprised and the she-cat notices this. "Don't be alarmed. We're not going to hurt you." She then turned back to SnowHawk. "Put your scales away!" "Fine!" The cat spat, keeping his eyes on you as his scales turned back to fur, revealing colors of black, brown and white underneath. You look from him to the she-cat and back again, your mouth gaping. The she-cat clears her throat and you hope she's going to explain. "I am EchoStar, leader of DragonClan. We are a group of cats that were bestowed with... "powers" from our ancestors, StarClan. We have dragon wings and can cover our bodies in dragon scales at will, which is a little alarming to newcomers." EchoStar chuckled, seeing you relax a little after having just been so surprised you could have passed out. Sighing she looks up and you do as well, then see a ray of red light shoot across the sky. You hear her murmur something before she turns back to you. "My ancestors have spoken. If you wish to join my clan then they will be happy to bestow our gift upon you, or would you rather like to go back to the two-leg place? It's the safest place around here at the moment. If you wish to join us then follow me. Our camp is in the inactive volcano right there." Do you accept her invitation? Or leave?

Territory:
DragonClan territory is in a forest that is somewhat neighbored by a two-leg place. They have a large territory that they can easily go through in one day because of the fact that they can fly. The woods are filled with mainly oak trees with bits of pine, spruce, birch, willow, and chestnut here and there. The undergrowth consists of berry and flower bushes, gorse, brambles, and holly. There are holes here and there since snakes use to inhabit the forest until the "dragon cats" showed up. The camp of the clan is placed in what is now an inactive volcano. You know how when volcanoes become inactive they get that rock covering a little down it? The camp is on that. The two-leg place is to the east, a range of mountains are seen to the north, and running along their other border, south and west, is a large, rapid river. The river, about half way across the south border, breaks off and filters into the territory and then breaking off from that is a lot of little streams and whatnot to where there are streams and rivers running throughout the territory. The main river that breaks off of the border river goes in towards the volcano before stopping and filtering underground into a pool of water with a large, pale white gem shaped like a dragon's head at one side of it. This gem is called the Moon Dragon and is how the clan speaks with StarClan.

Warrior Code:
1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
3. Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice. 5. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
6. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
7. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
8. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
9. A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
10. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
11. No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
12.The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
13. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win their battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
14. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
Figthing Moves and Techniques:
Back Kick - Explosive surprise move to catch opponent from behind. Judge opponent's distance from you carefully, then lash out with your back legs, taking all weight on your front paws.
Belly Rake - A fight-stopper. Slice with unsheathed claws against the soft flesh of the opponent's belly. If you're pinned down, the belly rake quickly puts you back into control.
Front Paw Blow - Frontal attack. Bring your front paw down hard on your opponent's head. Claws sheathed.
Front Paw Strike/Forepaw Slash - Frontal attack. Slice downward with your front paw at the face or body of your opponent.
Killing Bite - A death blow to the back of the neck. Quick and silent and sometimes considered dishonorable. Used only as a last resort.
Leap-and-hold - Ideal for a small cat facing a larger opponent. Spring onto opponent's back and grip with unsheathed claws. Now you are beyond the range of the opponent's paws and in position to inflict severe body wounds. A group of apprentices can defeat a large and dangerous warrior in this way. Watch for the drop-and-roll counter move, and try to jump free before you get squashed.
Partner Fighting - Warriors who have trained and fought together will often fall instinctively into a defensive position, each protecting each other's back while fending off an opponent on either side. Slashing, clawing, and leaping together, battle pairs can be a whirlwind of danger for attackers.
Play Dead - Effective in a tight situation, such as when you are pinned. Stop struggling and go limp. When your opponent relaxes their grip, thinking you are defeated, push yourself up explosively. This will throw off an unwary opponent and put you in attacking position.
Scruff Shake - Secure a strong teeth grip in the scruff of your opponents neck; then shake violently until he or she is too rattled to fight back. Most effective against rats, who are small enough to throw. A strong throw will stun or kill them.
Tail Yank - Grab your opponent's tail and yank it with such force your opponent is thrown off balance.
Teeth Grip - Target your opponent's extremities- the legs, tail, scruff or ears- and sink in your teeth and hold. This move is similar to the leap-and-hold except your claws remain free to fight.
Upright Lock - Final, crushing move on already weakened opponent. Rear up on back legs and bring weight down on opponent. If opponent does the same, wrestle and flip him under you. This makes you vulnerable to the belly rake, so it takes great strength and speed.
Half-Turn Belly Rake - Turn onto your side, slip under the opponent's belly, rake it with your claws, then swiftly turn back onto all fours out from under your opponent.
Badger Defense: Leap over opponent, turn on your back legs and bite opponent's leg. Used only when fighting badgers.
Duck and Twist: Simple defensive move. The cat ducks then twists around, rolling over onto their back, and then springs to their paws.
Jump and pin: Complicated move. Leap backwards, and bounce off the wall. With precise accuracy, land on the cat.

Tail Signals:
A sharp flick and an agitated expression usually means the cat is annoyed, irritated, or impatient.
A bristle and a sharp flick of your tail usually means "Get over here now! I'm angry with you!"
A flick and jerking your head in a certain direction means "Meet me to the bushes at your left" or "Sneak out of camp with me through the brambles to the right."
If you call out to someone and their back is to you, they can flick their tail to show that they've heard.
Sticking your tail straight up in the air and flicking it sharply down means "Sit!"
An eye-roll and a flick of the tail means "Whatever."
A mrrow of laughter and a flick of a tail means "That was a good joke."
Saying, "Oh, fox-dung, I gotta go!" and flicking your tail means "Sorry! Talk to you later?" or "Yikes! I've gotta go use the dirtplace!"
Flicking your tail at someone and making a face means "What is wrong with them?"
A sharp flick of your tail during battle can mean two things; it can mean "Attack!" or "Help me!"
A shrug followed by a tail flick: "Oh well."
Putting a tail over another cat's mouth means "Shut up, mouse-brain!" when the flick/movement is sharp or "Please, quiet" when the cat is talking too much.
A flick in a certain direction can emphasize that they've got to go or look there.
A normal flick can just be caused in amusement.
A tail flick can be a way to vent anger or rage.
Sometimes a cat can flick their tail when about to say something funny or sarcastic.
A tail flick can also be executed in an arrogant, conceited, or contemptuous manner.
Anxiety is another feeling that can trigger stiff tail flicks.
Though many tail flicks occur in rash emotions, the tail can also be flicked happily.
A tail flick can mean that the cat is bored.
The tail can be flicked playfully on another cat's muzzle.
A flick executed in the air can change the direction the cat will land.
The need to protect can also be demonstrated by a tail flick.
A cat may flick their tail to prompt something.
The tail can be flicked in a proud manner.
A cat may also flick their tail when about to give them a lecture on what is right.
Eagerness can cause tail flicks as well.
A tail flicking one way, then the other is used when one is to surround a cat with others.
Stroking another cat's spine or shoulder with the tail is a sign of affection or sympathy.[27] Stroking on the cheek has the same meaning.[28]
Lashing their own tail usually happens in times of anger. However, this can also be a sign of excitement.
Wrapping their tail around another cat shows affection or the need to protect. Mother cats often wrap their tail around their kit(s).The tail can also be used to beckon another cat.
The tail can also show different emotions; a drooped tail, for instance, usually means the cat is sad.
When first starting to hunt, it is instinct to swish their tail, but in order to catch prey properly, the tail must be kept still.
Swishing their tail can mean that the cat is very excited and ecstatic. It can also be a sign of commencing an action or contemplating an important decision.
Lifting their tail up is a form of composure, just as we humans sit up to recompose ourselves.
The tail can be used to brush another cat away if they're not wanted. However, it can also be used for the opposite: to beckon a cat closer.
When a cat cares for another cat, they can smooth their fur with the brush of the tail.
A cat can whisk their tail when being conceited to show that they know everything.
Twitching their tail can be a sign that they are skeptical about something.
Crossly whipping their tail is a demonstration of anger.

Honey: Honey is used to treat sore throats.
Mouse Bile: Mouse bile is used to make ticks release their grip on a cat.
Wild Garlic: Rolling in this herb can help to keep infection out of wounds. It is also good for rat bites.
Other Non-Herbal Treatments:
1. Gently nipping a cat's spine or pokeing it hard with a claw tests to see if the backbone is broken. If the subject does not feel the nip or poke, then the sprine is broken. Many times a medicene cat will have to poke/nip the subject multiple times in different places to find the break.
2. Licking a cat's fur can help clean wounds, comfort/calm down a shocked or grieving cat, and warm a cat who has become very cold. (Lick the cat's fur the wrong way to do this. The last method is most often used on kits.)
3. Soaking moss in water and holding the dripping moss before a sick, injured or weak cat makes it easier for them to drink. Soaked moss can also be used to cool feverish cats.
4. Rosemary or mint can be used to lighten the death-scent of a dead cat before burial.
5. Using nectar, honey or mouse blood can make herbs sweeter and more appealing to cats--therefore making it easier to take the medicene.
6. Holding a swelling wound in cold water takes down swelling. Cats can also soothe scraped pads by soaking them in water.
7. A cat with weak or hurting muscles/bone can take part in water therapy. Have them wade in water that is not too deep or shallow, and eventually they'll get stronger.
8. Having a sick cat wail or yowl keeps their lungs and chest clear of mucus.
Taking Care of Your Herbs:
Here is how a medicene cat should keep their herbs fresh and useable.
--If any herbs are wet, leave them out in the sun until they dry.
--Gather fresh herbs when your stock gets low.
--Leave enough of the herb on the plant you use for gathering it so it can reproduce
--Check your store often and throw out old herbs or herbs that have lost their healing qualities.
Other Herbs To Keep in the Medicine Den:
Note: ONLY use these herbs for self-defense against a cat who is a danger to all the Clans, or if a cat from your own Clan asks for a quick, painless path to StarClan while on his or her deathbed.
Holly Berries: A poisonous berry. Cats die almost instantly if they are consumed. If consumtion if not intentional, use yarrow to get the berries out of the cat's stomach.
Deathberries (Yew berries): A posionous berry. Cats die almost insyantly if they are consumed. If consumtion is not intentional, use yarrow to get the berries out of the cat's stomach.
The berries listed above can also be used as traps for dangerous predators. (Snakes, moutian lions, foxes, badgers, ect.) Stuff a piece of fresh-kill with these berries and set it near the pedator's den. They will die quickly and painlessly.

Camp:
The camp, as stated before is on the rocky platform that inactive volcanoes get after they haven't erupted in a while. The dens are spread out around it and most of them are on the sides, burrowed into the volcano. There is also a group of boulders at the center of the platform and a small one to the east side of it. The outside of the volcano is layered like steps which makes it easier to get to the top and then there are ledges leading down to the medicine cats ledge, which marks the entrance to their den, and then more leading down to the main camp.
Leaders Den: The leaders den is placed ti the southwest side of the rock platform. A small tunnel goes into the volcano and it goes up about two tail tail lengths before opening into a den big enough to fit about two or three cats comfortably.
Deputy's Den: The deputy has their their own den that they share with their mate of they have one. The den is about 2 badger lengths to the right of the leaders den and is about the same size but the tunnel is a little longer when entering.
Medicine Cats Den: The medicine cats den doesn't actually branch off from the rock platform. It's closer to the top of the volcano so it's cooler making the den more comfortable for sick or wounded cats. There's a ledge that marks the entrance and smaller ledges leading up to it from the platform for cats who are to young or are unable to fly. Another den that branches off to the right when your inside is where the medicine cat and their apprentice sleep, plus where they store herbs.
Warriors Den: The warriors den is on the north side oft the rock platform. The rock here is softer and with enough force the den can be made bigger. For now the den can hold about 30 warriors.
Apprentices Den: The apprentices den is directly opposite of the warriors den, meaning it's on the south side. The den is big enough the house 10 apprentices and has straggly roots outside of it.
Nursery: The nursery is about three badger lengths to the left of the warriors den and is the only den with brambles. The den is placed in the volcano but for extra protection has brambles woven together covering the outside, which are held in place by large rocks. The den can hold about three queens with three kits each.
Elders Den: The elders den is the only den that isn't in the side of the volcano. Rocks had fallen onto the platform and some were positioned on the east side of the platform. The den can hold about six elders comfortably.
Rock Pile: The rock pile is the pile of rocks in the center of the camp. The leader stands on the tallest one to address the clan.
Fresh-Kill Pile: That smaller rock that to the east side of the rock pile? Well the fresh-kill pile is placed in a small hollow right beside it.

Rules:
1) Follow all forum rules. That one is pretty easy to understand. I really don't want this clan to be deleted.
2) Please be on at least twice a week, I do not want this clan to fall to ruin. If you are not for two weeks you will get a warning. One more week and you will be deleted but you may apply for reentry into the clan. Tell me or a moderator if you are going to be gone.
3) Be nice to everyone and if someone needs someone else to rp then please find some way to include them. Please, this is a big one. I've been left out in rps before and it's not fun so please include everyone no matter what. If I see you ignoring another rper you will be given a warning. Three warnings and you will be deleted.
4) Get creative. I do not care what so ever. Let your creative juices flow. LGBT+ cats are welcomed and even transgenders are okay here. Get as creative as you can to make some fantastic characters. Also, there's no limit on how many cats you make. Just be sure to only make cats that you'll rp.
5) Have at least two sentences in each post but if you have to do less I understand. This is a somewhat literate rp as well so please use proper grammar and punctuation. Take as much time as you need to look through your reply.
6) When out of rp use (), [], or {}. Please
7) This may seem like a power rp but it's not. It's just dragon cats. (XD). Some powers though are welcomed. You have to get approval from me and only me before you add a cat with powers though.
8) Be nice, have fun, and be sure to use the codeword Dragon Lily in your joining form to assure me that you read the rules.
