You pad through a frozen marshy land, a rushing river to your left and a white forest not too far ahead. In the distance, there are snow-capped mountains, where the sun sets behind. You are tired, and damp, and cold, shivering as you walk on, in search of a warm place to sleep for the night. Soon, you realize there is a slight squish of paws in wet, frosted earth besides your own. You stop, turning your head and ears to try and find the source of the squishes. A dizzying white flash runs past you, and you shake your head, trying to get a hold on your senses. Blinking, you look again, and nothing is there. You decide to sit down to try and regain your senses. As you do, a low growl sounds from behind you, and you jump up to defend yourself, fur fluffing up. "What are you doing in SnowClan territory?" A larger built, spiky-furred ginger tom with dark markings and piercing green eyes is staring down at you, tail flicking suspiciously. You state your answer, quivering with cold or fear you are no longer sure. He grunts, and turns tail. "Come along then, if you will. Food and warmth are around the bend."
SnowClan was created when the original Clans made the law that mates between different Clans were forbidden. Two lovers, Sandstep and Snowblossom, left with their fellow Clanmates who had mates outside the laws, and journeyed to unclaimed lands. They established a large territory, with sufficient space for themselves and all future generations to come. Since he was the first to propose the journey, Sandstep was voted Leader, and StarClan granted his 9 lives despite the split. The newly named Sandstar decided to call the Clan "SnowClan" after his beloved Snowblossom. Almost all leaders of SnowClan have either been of blood, or mated to blood since then, as a sort of tradition in their honor. One of the most notable leaders was Snowstar - a she-cat pure in coat and spirit. She led the Clan through many turmoils, including the Great Storm which forced the Clan underground into the Caves. She spent the rest of her aging seasons living with her Clan in the Caves, adapting to the dark and strange crystals located within the earthen walls, until she died fighting foxes off and saving the kits of the Clan. Not long after her death, the Caves collapsed, killing most of the Clan. Splinter groups scrambled to the surface in time, with one group surviving in a sturdier save system, closer to the surface and farther west. Now, the Clan is back in it's original campsite. Hawkstar had taken over as leader to oversee clearing of basic dens and restocking on food, however, it has been nearly eight seasons since the Collapse, and old age is encroaching on him. With Wildfire, the great-great-grandson of Snowstar, as his deputy, he has no worries of who will inherit the position, but he can't help but wonder if the young tom will be able to handle leadership quite yet. Not long into his leadership Wildstar has been tasked with bringing the fractured Clan back together, by rescuing the half trapped in the mountains by the Collapse. The young leader must figure out a way to reunite his family, without losing allies or his position in the process - and the splinter group isn't exactly keen on letting such a young cat boss them around.
NEW SNOWCLAN CAMP
- Camp - A large, dirt clearing in the southern part of the forest. There are multiple large rocks with little shelters, one group of which serves as the queens' den, another as the medicine cat den, and the other group as the den of the leader and rocky outcropping where meetings are announced. There are two large dens for the warriors made between bushes, twigs, grasses and the like, carefully weaved to prevent leaks and block most of the chill in the winter. A smaller den of the same sort houses the apprentices. The largest of these carefully crafted dens is for the elders, fashioned at the bottom of a tree that has recently grown quite large, and began producing moss at its base. The camp is surrounded by thorny bushes, creating a protective barrier only broken by a separation of branches at the front of Camp.
- Frost Forest - The large mass of trees making up the majority of SnowClan territory. The trees have a wide away of species, from oaks to evergreens, with some losing their leaves in Leaf-Bare but most retaining them.
- Fallen Trees - A clearing in the eastern part of the forest where two great oak trees lie fallen. The area is abundant in prey and herbs, but is also a common place for foxes to lurk.
- Cave Mountain - A slight under exaggeration of the name given to it by kits, Cave Mountain is actually just a large pile of strangely coordinated rocks in the northeastern part of the territory. There are lots of crevices and a few cut outs, as well as a path within the stone that winds to the top. While it is not a mountain, it is also not small, and it's flat top reaches some of the lower branches of the tallest trees. It's sides are slick, and known to be home to dangerous snakes, and more than one cat have died from the fall or venom. Snowstar lost one of her lives here in the exact fashion.
- The Marsh - An area of grass that acts as a floodplain, and almost always holds water, creating a permanently muddy land. It is located in the southeastern-most portion of SnowClan territory. Typically has a lot of frogs, but lacks shelter.
- River Rush - Local source of water. Flowing from somewhere by the mountains, the River Rush flows south through the lands, creating a natural border for SnowClan territory. It curves west for the duration of the other border, before exiting the territory in another southwards curve. Has trout seasonally. The river, being a constant supply of water and frequent supply of food, is valued highly in the Clan. As apprentices, all cats in the Clan are taught to swim, and must be able to in order to pass their warrior initiation. Even the thickest furred of cats must be able to, as there have been instances where heavy rain seasons flood farther than intended. The current is rather sluggish in the winter, with some patches of solid ice, plenty of loose, and picks up to be the strongest in summer.
- Secret Camp - A smaller densite located in the denser southwestern portion of the forest. Close enough to the main Camp to make a quick escape in an emergency, it is also hard enough to locate for those unfamiliar with the area, or trying to invade. The Secret Camp entrance is guarded by a loyal spirit, who roams the rocks scattered about in piles where he was slain. The spirit is Weedclaw, the father of Snowstar, who gave his life to guard the Secret Camp in an invasion of overly aggressive ground hogs.
- The Caves - A complex underground system of tunnels, caverns and caves, which for many seasons served as SnowClan's home. After The Collapse, many paths and living areas were lost, with any remaining being most inaccessible.
ISOLATED CAVES
- Waterfall Cavern -
This cavern contains a large waterfall and pool of water surrounded by pale orange and pink crystals on the walls. This cavern has plenty of walking space and clean water. Serves as the main camp area.
- Frozen Footed Path -
A cold path that leads upwards through the mountains. The path sometimes leads to outside cliffs where birds can be caught, but also where tragic falls can occur if one is not careful!
- Star Cavern -
Small cavern with pale white quartz crystals, as well as a crevice above that allows light and moonlight in. Former Starclan connection spot for the entirety of Snowclan before the collapse. Now it is only accessible to the Isolated Caves Group.
- Low Mountain Plains -
Main hunting grounds of the group other than the caves themselves, this large patch of both flat and forested land between two of the mountains is great for hunting and training.
-SnowClan Ruins -
A crumbled, dangerous, and quite saddening mass of collapsed caves, tunnels, caverns and camp material that once was home to the united Snowclan. Once the caves collapsed, separating the clan into two small groups of survivors, this area became a place of memory and deep thought. Said to be quite haunted.

This is a private roleplay for the time being! If you want to join in, PM me or Moonblazer first, though the answer is probably no. RULES 1.Be kind, treat others the way you wish to be treated. 2. No god-modding, powerplaying, or perfect characters. An apprentice cannot take down a fox in one hit on their own! Do not rp other rpers cats in battle either. 3. Try to equalize the amount of toms and she-cats you have when you join. 4. If you want to rp a very in depth plot, you must ask Snowfire or Moonblazer to check if your plot is acceptable to the rp! 5. No graphic gore or other things, nothing over pg-13 please! 6. No unrealistic coloring. There will be no rainbow cats or rainbow eyes or blood red pelts please. Be creative with realistic designs, patterned cats are quite lovely, no? 7.No killing unless the other rper has approved. You may kill off your own characters if you wish though. 8. If you read these rules, place the word "Snowstorm" in the code word section of the joining form. JOINING FORM Screen Name: Cat Name: Description: Personality: Rank: History: Other: Codeword:

(Main Camp)
LEADER
Wildstar ~ younger, large ginger colored tom with spiky fur. His fur is darker brown, nearly black, in a tabby pattern on his face, tail, and legs. His paws, ears, tail tip, and a snip above his nose are dull black. Wildstar’s eyes are a piercing lime green, with amber flecks around the pupil. He is brave and fiery, but reckless to a fault, as he often acts before thinking things through completely. However, he is compassionate and his love for his Clan and Clanmates runs deep in his veins, so he does all he can to make sure they are well taken care of. The tom is known to have a rambunctious past, although he’s shaped up in recent moons. Many compare him to his great-great-grandfather, the late Blackthistle. Son of Flyleaf and Ashdapple. (♥Snowfire♥)
DEPUTY
Owlshadow - Dark brown and black furred she-cat with a white muzzle, deep amber eyes, and long legs. Owlshadow is calm and intelligent, never seeming to panic in most situations. Even at her rather young age, she holds an air of wisdom around her. Highly dedicated and loyal, this she-cat can be reserved at times, but truly wants to to her best to serve her clan. Granddaughter of Angelsong and Hawkstar. Daughter of Dawnfire and Pinefoot. (Moonblazer)
MEDICINE CAT Wrenlight - A relatively young she-cat, she is extremely tiny. Her fur is mostly brown with darker seal points on her face and paws. Her fur is splotched, blotted, and spattered with white. Her eyes are rich yellow and usually full of light. Wrenlight was adopted by the clan when she was just a kit, who was abandoned by her mother one early new-leaf morning. Ever since then she wanted to be a warrior. Fierce and strong. So when she was old enough she became an apprentice and she struggled every step of the way. Her small size made it difficult for her to advance her skills. Sure she was fast but she lacked the strength. But she worked hard and was named a warrior. However in a battle she was a detriment to the other warriors. They worried about protecting her. And after a particularly devastating injury she was approached and it was recommended that she should perhaps seek out a new calling. She became the apprentice medicine cat soon after. Though her life didn't go as she planned she is still capable and ready to help in any way she can. (Rainwatcher)
MEDICINE CAT APPRENTICE
SENIOR WARRIORS
Thistletail - Pale brown tabby tom with a long striped tail and light green eyes. He is lean and fast, depending on speed rather than strength. Bold, brave and sometimes a bit arrogant, this hot-headed tom is unafraid to speak his mind, and is highly dedicated to protecting his Clanmates. Son of Sorrelswift and Hollowstar, brother of Featherflight. (Moonblazer)
Blackfire - Black and ginger mottled she-cat with light blue eyes. Blackfire is strong-willed and skilled in battle, not one to be frightened by anything. She is gentle to her Clanmates though, and enjoys relaxing when she can. Daughter of Flowerfall and Shadowheart. (Moonblazer)
Risingfire - Pale grey, almost white tom with fiery amber eyes and one black spot on his chest and shoulder. Risingfire is curious, compassionate and fiercely dedicated to the clan and the code. He is very loving to his family, and is a very gentle father. His fur is medium-length and soft to the touch. Son of Whispersong and Silverlight. (Moonblazer)
Ashdapple - , mate to Flyleaf, father of Wildstar and Frostfeather. (Moonblazer)
Pinefoot - Dark grey tabby tom with pale blue eyes and black legs and paws. Pinefoot is tall and muscular, and rather brave and open-minded. This tom is very stubborn yet can be a goof-ball around those he trusts. He sometimes gets bouts of sadness, but he is just an emotional cat sometimes. He is very strict in training and raising young cats to become warriors. Son of Echoshine and Nightflame, mate to Dawnfire, father of Owlshadow and Emberstorm. (Moonblazer)
WARRIORS
Swansong - White furred she-cat with pale grey tabby markings and blue-green eyes. Swansong is a large she-cat with long fur, and is very observational and intuitive. She hates being wrong and hates losing in any kind of competition. She's got a strong temper when annoyed, but it's very hard to annoy her. Daughter of Redleaf and Diamondshade, Sister of Dreampool. (Moonblazer)
Dreampool ~ long-furred blue and white she-cat with a pink nose and unusually large silvery-blue eyes. She is soft spoken and kind, mostly keeping her opinions to herself. If a situation goes south for her, she simply chuckles and puts it behind her. Seeing as such, Dreampool isn’t negatively affected by much, be it her mother’s death during kitting, or her father’s during the Collapse. Her favorite place to help is the nursery, watching kits for weary queens or keeping orphaned kits warm and loved on cold nights. Despite this, she often wanders around, seemingly aimlessly, and can disappear for a few days at a time before returning. Some describe her as a “free spirit”, while others simply say she’s crazy, much like her aunt. Dreampool chuckles at both of these assumptions. Daughter of Diamondshade and Redleaf. (♥Snowfire♥) Apprentice, Crowpaw
Whitepool ~ A white she-cat with one brown spot over the right side of her face. Her eyes are a clear blue and her fur is long and spiky in many directions. She has a rather muscular and wild appearence. Whitepool is a stubborn, fierce and adventerous former rouge who joined Snowclan when she fell in love with the leader's son. She is very persuasive and tricky, and adapts to situations. Even so, she can be rather hostile and snappy at many times. She's a former rouge who lived alone in the mountains for moons after she left her mother and sister. Mate to the deceased Rustlefoot, mother of Crowpaw and Raggedpaw. (Moonblazer)
Flyleaf ~ lithe white tabby she-cat with golden-brown patches that integrate her tabby pattern. She has golden eyes, and a notch in her left ear. She survived the collapse of the Caves when she was a new apprentice. Her mentor, Forbiddenheart, was killed in the collapse trying to save the younger cats and queens, much like the majority of the warriors. Luckily, she was one of the lucky mentorless apprentices, as her parents had both survived. Because of this, she values family above all, and is overly protective of her own. She is quick-thinking and clever, you can always tell when an idea is brewing by the darkening of her golden eyes. Flyleaf is fast and great at hunting, but not the best fighter due to her skinnier build and struggles to swim when the current picks up. Daughter of Ivybounce and Eaglesight, mate to Ashdapple, mother of Wildstar and Frostfeather. (♥Snowfire♥)
Dawnfire - solid grey she-cat with amber eyes. Daughter of Angelsong and Hawkstar. (mourningdove)
Dapplewing ~ short-furred tortoiseshell tom with green-yellow eyes, and longer fur around his throat, on his tail, and feet. His nose is split in half, brown on the left, black on the right. Dapplewing is quiet, and tends to prefer the company of his parents and sisters than anyone else. While he is thoughtful, he is no good at hunting, as his awkward length fur makes him too unbalanced to be much good at bringing down anything. He is, however, tactful, and he uses this long fur to make him appear bigger than he is. His biggest asset is probably his large paws, with which he can deliver a powerful smack. Despite being a senior warrior, he has never had an apprentice. Son of Ivybounce and Eaglesight. (♥Snowfire♥)
Falconsoar - Brown and white mottled tom with bright amber eyes. This muscular tom is noble and tough in battle. He has long claws and a knack for wrestling. Fun-loving, energetic and curious, this tom can be quite a pawful! Son of Ivybounce and Eaglesight, brother of Flyleaf, Dapplewing and Mothcloud. (Moonblazer)
Mothcloud - Lovely golden and black mottled she-cat with bright green eyes and a white muzzle. Mothcloud is quiet and gentle, always seeming rather relaxed no matter where she is. She's rather apologetic, and can get lonely easily, even though she is rather bad at social interaction. She's real kind. Daughter of Ivybounce and Eaglesight, sister of Flyleaf, Dapplewing and Falconsoar. (Moonblazer)
Emberstorm - Ginger, brown and black mottled tom with piercing amber eyes and a long and fluffy tail. Emberstorm is slender and strong, as well as incredibly brash, fearless and sharp-tongued. He has no time to think everything through and lives life to the fullest. He's a sheer romantic, and would adore finding love and becoming a father. He picks on his sister very often. Son of Dawnfire and Pinefoot, brother of Owlshadow. (Moonblazer)
Frostfeather - Pure white she-cat with amber eyes with a pale grey spot around her left eye. Her fur is long and feathery, hence her name, and Frostfeather is rather cool and clever, a master in debate and argument. She is capable of twisting words and is mischievous because she's capable of getting away with it. Even so, she is very friendly and bright, and is protective of those she loves. She tends to pull her brother Wildstar into her antics. Daughter of Flyleaf and Risingfire, sister of Wildstar. (Moonblazer)
APPRENTICES
Crowpaw ~ dark grey tom with a white muzzle and amber eyes. His fur is spiky and messy like his father's pelt, and he has a long tail. Crowpaw is sneaky, mischevious and quite a prankster, enjoying to fluster and bother his clanmates. Even so, he has moments of seriousness, and deeply misses his father. Son of Rustlefoot and rouge warrior, Whitepool. Brother of Raggedpaw. (Moonblazer)
Raggedpaw ~ Black, white and dark brown she-cat with kinked and ragged fur and striking orange eyes. Her tail is bent strangely and her left ear is torn from a bad run in with a falcon in her kithood. Raggedpaw is sassy, snappy and easily riled up in many situations. She's extremely independent and stubborn, like her mother, yet responsible and protective like her father. She keeps an eye on Crowpaw and works very hard for her Clan. Born to the deceased Rustlefoot, and the rouge warrior, Whitepool. Sister of Crowpaw. (Moonblazer)
QUEENS
Featherflight ~ small black she-cat with white paws, “eyebrows”, chin, and tail tip. She has a single dark ginger toe on her front left paw. Her eyes are a captivating royal blue, like her grandmother. Featherflight is quite the mother hen, always fussing after everyone to make sure they’re eating properly and sleeping adequately. She likes to help Wrenlight frequently, and many whisper that she should have been his/her apprentice rather than a warrior. She wouldn’t have it any other way, however. Featherflight loves being able to help in the most useful ways, which is more than often as a warrior. Despite her senior warrior status, she is quick to be hurt by comments, although she does her best not to let that show. What she really longs for is a deep, true love, like that between her late parents before the collapse of the Caves. Daughter of Sorrelswift and Hollowstar. She is expecting kits with an unknown tom. (♥Snowfire♥)
KITS
ELDERS
Eaglesight ~ large dark brown elder tom with a creamy-colored head, neck and chest. His pelt is laced with scars from various battles in his life, and he has golden eyes. He has survived the collapse of the Caves along with his mate and daughter, losing his only son of the time and other daughter, as well as both of his parents to the stones. Since then, he and Ivybounce have had more kits, but those lost can never be replaced. He has always been proud, and this hasn’t ebbed with age. Used to be strong, and not very smart - that seems to have reversed with age. Now, he has stories to tell the kits of the Clan, as one of the few who remembers the Caves well. Eaglesight has remained close with brother, Hawkstar, through all the years, and when he was younger played a crucial role in re-establishing the campsite. Son of Moonfrost and King'sheart, mate to Ivybounce. (♥Snowfire♥)
Ivybounce - Black and white spotted she-cat with deep green eyes and a slightly bent tail. Her legs are strong and stocky, and she is chock full of energy. Sometimes rather crazy-sounding, she is completely confident in herself and is a joy to be around during dark times. Even as an elder, she seems to never lose her spark. She loves Eaglesight dearly and has birthed plenty of kits of his. Daughter of Lilyfrost and Space. Mate of Eaglesight, mother of Flyleaf, Dapplewing, Falconsoar and Mothcloud. (Moonblazer)
OUTSIDERS
Rainwatcher ~ a medium sized she-cat with a short, silver grey base coat and stormy grey classic tabby markings, the marks on her face are nearly symmetrical and oddly intricate. Her eyes are a light and clear blue. Rainwatcher is very sure of herself and a confident warrior. She favors rainy days when other cats would rather stay in a shelter. Her parents were proud and brave warriors and she strives to be as strong and dependable as they were. Though her parents have recently gone to walk with StarClan she still feels them close by. She was exiled from her home of CometClan for an unknown reason and is wandering from place to place as a rogue named Rain. She travels with a stoic companion, Smokeflight. Eventually will stumble upon Snowclan. Family unknown. (Rainwatcher)
Smokeflight ~ An extremely dark grey (nearly black) tom. His fur is solid and has no variation. His long fur makes him appear monstrously large, given his already large size. His eyes are deep amber and very pensive. He is very difficult to read and doesn't talk much if at all. No cat really knows much about him, save that he wanders with the rogue who calls herself Rain. He doesn't seem to particularly like her or hate her. His family relations are unknown. (Rainwatcher)
Renegade ~ a lanky Siamese kittypet with a long tail, medium-length fur, and piercing icy blue eyes. She is notorious for escaping from her Twolegs and wandering through the woods for a week or more on end, and shows little interest in Clan life besides that of causing trouble for patrols. This may be because she's young and inexperienced, or merely because of her sassy Siamese characteristics. She has remarkable hearing, and is rather nimble despite being collared. Her best friend is Foxy. (♥Snowfire♥)

(Isolated Caves)
GROUP LEADER
Nettleheart - An adult she-cat with a lilac point fur pattern. She has brilliant blue eyes. She is of average structure, and incredibly strong. Nettleheart is the stand-in leader for the abandoned group. She holds a deep, burning hatred for the original group, even if the other's around her don't. Feeling betrayed, she keeps it to herself. Nettle is tough as nails, a fair leader who pushes her clan members to their best, and a "no bull****" type of gal. Daughter of Echoshine and Nightflame. (mourningdove)
GROUP SECOND IN COMMAND
Storm -
GROUP HEALER
Mudstream - Medicine cat of the ragtag group, Mudstream is an all brown cat, with a white chest, and yellow eyes. He is very slender, and physically weak. He says his spiritual strength had to take some strength from his physical form. He is a competent medicine cat, but everyone has their suspicions that he doesn't enjoy the path he chose. He enjoys the wisdom and speaking to StarClan, yes, but the sight of kits makes him long for a family of his own. (mourningdove)
WARRIORS
Olivebranch - Pale dusky brown tom with vibrant green eyes and a white muzzle and belly. Olivebranch is a peaceful, forgiving and gentle tom, who likes to see both sides of a story before making a judgement. He's a very dedicated father, and loves his mate Nettleheart with his whole being. Son of Sapphiregaze, brother of Violetdawn, father of Thornstrike and Roseblossom. (Moonblazer)
Lilybreeze - Small midnight black she-cat with blue eyes and a white muzzle. Lilybreeze is thoughtful, intelligent, yet rather timid in battle. She's an incredible hunter though, and prefers hunting over anything else. She is easily spooked, and likes to be in safe spaces. She tends to depend on her brothers for protection. Daughter of Willowbreeze and Smokewave, sister of Storm and Adderstrike. (Moonblazer)
Adderstrike - Pale grey tom with black tabby markings and sharp yellow eyes. Adderstrike is bold, unafraid to speak the truth and tick off his companions. He holds a grudge against the cats that left his father and mother here in the caves. He can be aggressive at times, but can be calmed down with the right words. Son of Willowbreeze and Smokewave, brother to Storm and Lilybreeze. (Moonblazer)
Blazeshade - silver and white tom with black tabby spots. He has one amber eye and one blue eye. Blazeshade is somewhat bitter for his group having been left behind in the Collapse, however given the circumstances he could never be mad. He doesn’t hold a grudge against the Clan cats, though he does hold a slight grudge against StarClan, firstly for not giving them a way to rejoin their Clan, secondly for not allowing them to become their own group. He would never admit this to his mother, however, and is hopeful one day the two groups will reunite. Blazeshade is very protective of the elderly she-cat, and loving as well. He is the first one to redirect her to her nest if she wanders, and shield her from rude comments made by the other cave cats. He’s somewhat quiet around anyone besides his mother and the quiet Lilybreeze. Blazeshade is somewhat like his mother in the aspect that he can hear and scent the presence of StarClan cats, however he lacks the ability to see them. This fact upsets him greatly, though not many cats know. Son of Mysticglow and Skyblaze. (♥Snowfire♥)
Roseblossom - A gray she-cat with lilac splotches along her coat, strongly resembling a flower her mother once saw while away on a quest. She has pale, steel colored eyes, and incredibly long whiskers. She is a bit smaller than her mother, though just as strong. Rose developed the same attitude as her mother, but has a very strong sense of compassion and empathy. It's impossible for her to not imagine herself in someone else's position. Because of this, she has a hard time fighting other cats, but has proven to be an extraordinary hunter. She can't track well, but she can take down the bigger prey, and predators. Daughter of Nettleheart and Olivebranch. (mourningdove)
Thornstrike - A gentle heart, despite what his name leads outsiders to believe. His pelt is that of a brown tabby, with saturated blue eyes. Many say he has his mother's eyes. Thorn is just as strong as the rest of his family, and of average size. He has proven himself to be a reliable fighter on multiple occasions, namely when he brought down a fox aiming to harm some kits. He has a scar across his muzzle because of this. He is quiet, kind, and very understanding and calculating. Though, he holds a prejudice against the original cats. Son of Nettleheart and Olivebranch. (mourningdove)
APPRENTICES
QUEENS
KITS
ELDERS
Mysticglow - Silver and white tabby she-cat with stunning blue-green eyes with faint flecks of amber. This old she-cat was very close to Starclan, capable of seeing spirits that others could not. Before she was the group healer, she had a mate, Skyblaze, and kits. After his death, she grew more reserved, though she was still very kind to others. She became the first healer for the Isolated Group and recently retired to elderhood. Mother of Blazeshade. (Moonblazer)
OUTSIDERS
Foxy ~ dark orange kittypet with a white muzzle and undersides, green eyes, and black paws, ear tips, and ear fluff. She is a young, messy-furred she-cat who is as clever as she is boastful. A very proud she-cat, she is likely to take a dare, or do the opposite someone tells her not to with an innocent "oops". Foxy wears an orange collar with black stripes and a bell, which irritates her to no avail. Her best friend is Renegade, whom she often slips off with to explore the forest. (♥Snowfire♥)

(StarClan) Listed in order of death.
Dancingstar - lithe pale-grey tabby she-cat with slightly darker grey stripes, a white underbelly and paws, and soft blue eyes. She was kind and wise, always trying to weigh decisions based on how many cats they would positively affect. She was overly trusting, however this wasn't her downfall. That was her only daughter, Coppertail, leaving SnowClan to become a kittypet. And so she lost her last few lives to a broken heart. Grandmother of Snowstar. Succeeded by Merrystar. (♥Snowfire♥)
Weedclaw - large, scarred dark brown tom with a lighter underbelly. He has hazel eyes. Despite having big paws and a burly build, he was surprisingly kind, always looking out for his family, and a valiant fighter. His first loyalty was to the Clan, and he proved this when his mate, Coppertail, left for the life of a kittypet. He remained in the Clan, becoming the sole protector of his kits (who were newer apprentices at the time). He devoted himself to them more than he had before, if that was possible. Not many moons later, Weedclaw fell in battle with attacking groundhogs, throwing them off of his daughter when she was still an apprentice. He called for her to run, and she did, as he fell thrashing beneath a flood of sharp-toothed rodents. His spirit now wanders the area, protecting the Secret Camp from such dangers. His daughter is Snowstar, sister is Merrystar, and framed son is Brokenclaw. (♥Snowfire♥)
Blueblood - blue tabby tom with grey eyes. He was easygoing and amicable. Loved to feel the breeze in his fur. He grew up with Snowstar, a few moons older than she, and loved her from the start. They became best friends, and then mates. He was very dedicated to her, and died fighting alongside her in an invasion during the rainstorm season when they were young warriors. His wounds were too great combined with the heavy rain, and he bled out. His mate was Snowstar. (♥Snowfire♥)
Brokenclaw (Duskclaw) - A black and grey tabby tom with yellow eyes and a tall and regal posture. He is accepting, forgiving and dutiful to what he believes is right. He was wrongly sent to the Dark Forest for killing a deputy who was the true evil of the two to protect his aunt, Merrystar’s, life. He accepted his banishment and was named Brokenclaw and lived in guilt even when he had saved his clan from a tyrannical deputy. He died of infected wounds where his claws had been torn, and was later allowed back to Starclan once the cats of Starclan were persuaded and realized Brokenclaw’s actions were not of evil. Brother of Snowstar and Snakepaw. (Moonblazer)
Merrystar - very pale ginger she-cat with yellow eyes and feathery fur. She was kind and thoughtful, but often naive. As a newly made leader, her life was attempted by her deputy - a tom she had chosen not of the family blood - and she was saved only by her nephew, who killed her deputy. However, she could not see her nephew's truth, and exiled him from the Clan. She didn't live to be quite so old, and lost her last three lives to age and Greencough combined. Sister of Weedclaw, mother of Forbiddenheart. Preceded by Dancingstar, succeeded by Snowstar. (♥Snowfire♥)
Whisperflame - Dark grey and silver tabby she-cat with soft fiery amber eyes and long fur. Strong, selfless and loyal, this cat died in a fire saving Nightflame as a kit. She served as one of Snowstar’s deputies for a while, and always put others before herself. She was momentarily allowed to live as a part of Whispersong’s soul, but now she is completely back in Starclan. Her mate is Brokenclaw. (Moonblazer)
Blackthistle - jet-black spiky-furred tom with piercing green eyes. He was brave and compassionate, dedicated to both his family and his Clan. Although several moons younger than Snowstar, he became her closest friend after the deaths of her family and mate, and they bonded ever more with each day. Once he was a warrior, he became her new mate, and they started a family of their own. He stood firmly by her side through his whole life, easing her mind during her time as deputy, helping her make decisions for the Clan during her leadership, and warming their nest for the entirety of their lives together. He is a proud father, and loves their kits as much as he loves Snowstar. He was killed by a psychotic rogue called Shadelle while patrolling with his mate and former apprentice, Nightflame. Mate to Snowstar, father of King'sheart, Sorrelswift, Sootcloud and Doveflight. (♥Snowfire♥)
Groundstripe - A sandy brown tom with a dark brown stripe running down his back and dark brown paws. His eyes are a pale blue-green, and his fur is thick and short. Stocky and strong, this tom is extremely kind and happy. He died of stomach cancer. His mate is Jayheart and his kits are Watersplash and Moonfrost. (Moonblazer)
Snowstar - large snow-white long-furred she-cat with royal blue eyes. She was intelligent, and determined, and kind to all. Stubborn to a fault. At a young age, she lost her mother, and then her father, and then her brother, and finally her first mate. Her life was anything but easy, struggling to live up to her family prestige from the moment she was born. Besides dealing with the deaths in her family, she had to lie about her view on Brokenclaw's murder of the former SnowClan deputy in order to secure the position for herself, and guarantee the safety of her Clan and her bloodline. She hated betraying her exiled brother, her denial of his good deed sentencing him to the Dark Forest upon his death, and carried the guilt with her for the rest of her seasons. Although she lost her first mate very young, it didn't take long for her to acquire a second, and had her first litter in no time. No one really knows the father of this litter, consisting of four she-cats, maybe not even Snowstar herself. (These kits went on to abandon the Clan as apprentices.) Out of eight kits, she and Blackthistle only ever had a single tom. Not many moons after losing Blackthistle, she too died, fighting off foxes and saving the Clan's kits. She was surrounded by her kits and deputy as her last life succumbed to a deep wound in her shoulder. Daughter of Weedclaw. Mate to Blueblood then Blackthistle, mother of four she-cats who shall not be named, King'sheart, Sorrelswift, Sootcloud and Doveflight. Preceded by Merrystar, succeeded by Hollowstar. (♥Snowfire♥)
Burningpaw - Dark ginger and white tom with golden eyes and large paws. Burningpaw is thoughtful, curious yet easily angered. His temper is known, but he is a very good cat at heart. He loves his family dearly. Son of Flowerfall and brother to Swiftstorm and Blackfire. Died of Greencough. (Moonblazer)
Vulturepaw - Scraggly dark brown tabby tom with kinked fur and light green eyes. A timid yet kind tom, he’s extremely intelligent and creative. He likes to imitate his mother and father and likes feeling like he’s a strong warrior. Son of Hollowstar and Sorrelswift, brother of Featherflight, Thistletail and Amberpaw. Died of Greencough. (Moonblazer)
Amberpaw - dark golden-brown she-cat with pale yellow eyes and darker brown tabby stripes. In life, she was loud, and stubborn, and aspired to do great things, like her father. In death, she now complains that her life was too short, just like her siblings', and she swears one day she'll be able to live her life. Unlike her siblings, she does not seem happy to be in StarClan, or see her family once more. Rather, she is reclusive and snippy. Daughter of Sorrelswift and Hollowstar. Sister of Vulturepaw, Thistletail and Featherflight. Died of Greencough. (♥Snowfire♥)
Hollowstar - Tall oak brown tom with smoky black paws and ears, with yellow-green eyes. Hollowstar is fair, sarcastic and dedicated, and was well known for his unique leadership, as he was not blood-related to Snowstar and her kin like the other leaders. He was born a rouge and worked hard to become a good warrior. His strong relationship with Sorrelswift made him the accepting and fair leader he was, and he was first to die in the Collapse, losing 6 lives at once. His kits are Thistletail, Featherflight, Amberpaw and Vulturepaw. (Moonblazer)
Sorrelswift - small white she-cat with ginger and black splotches. She has bright green eyes and a pink nose. She is kind and careful, gentle in words and actions. Incredibly small for a child of Snowstar, she was born a runt, but never let that stop her from being her best in the world. She is overly dependent on others, which is often her downside, but very devoted to her family and Clanmates. She lost two of her kits in the Collapse, and when her mate was also crushed by stones in the Collapse, she threw herself into the slide, for she couldn’t bear the thought of living without him. Daughter of Snowstar and Blackthistle, mate to Hollowstar. Mother of Vulturepaw, Amberpaw, Thistletail and Featherflight. (♥Snowfire♥)
King’sheart - large pale ginger tom with longer, darker ginger fur around his neck and tail tip. He has olive eyes. Proud to be the only son of Snowstar, he takes his role as an older brother very seriously. His younger sisters are all special to him, particularly the small Sorrelswift, his only littermate. He tries to be wise like his mother, however was prone to panicking if he can’t solve a problem. Overprotective to a fault. He loves his family and Clan dearly, and while he wishes he could have been more in his lifetime he has no regrets about it. Moonfrost was his first and remains his only love. He was crushed in the Collapse alongside his mate and surviving daughter. Son of Snowstar and Blackthistle, mate to Moonfrost. Father of Hawkstar, Eaglesight, Sparrowpaw and Splashkit. (♥Snowfire♥)
Moonfrost - A midnight black she-cat with a white muzzle and belly and clear blue eyes. This tiny she-cat is playful, loving and energetic, always enjoying every adventure she’s able to go on. She loves King’sheart dearly and is almost never away from his side. Mother of Hawkstar, Eaglesight, Sparrowkit and Splashkit. Died in Collapse. (Moonblazer)
Splashpaw - A small black she-cat with brown flecks and pale blue eyes. Splashpaw is curious, nosy and fearless, loving to explore and play with the other kits. She sticks close to her sister, Sparrowpaw, and likes to run around with her mother and father. She died young in the collapse, with Moonfrost, King'sheart and Sparrowpaw. (Moonblazer)
Sparrowpaw - ginger she-cat with black flecks, white underbelly and paws, and a long, fluffy tail. She is adventurous, and humorous, but was mute in life. Her best friend is her sister, Splashpaw. She died in the Collapse alongside her family. (♥Snowfire♥)
Wasppaw - A light brown tabby tom with a white muzzle and a long tail. His fur is spiky and his tail as a point of fur as the tip, giving him his name. He is arrogant, bold, yet fiercely loyal to his friends. He wishes he could have lived longer. Son of Ivybounce and Eaglesight, died in Collapse. (Moonblazer)
Squirrelpaw - long-haired creamy she-cat with brown tabby stripes, and white paws, muzzle and underbelly. She is proud and stands up for those who can't. She was crushed in the Collapse beside her brother. Daughter of Ivybounce and Eaglesight. (♥Snowfire♥)
Flowerfall - A white she-cat with black, ginger and brown spots and light green eyes. Flowerfall is a plump, optimistic and rather clumsy she-cat who is a fan of danger and fun. Died in the Collapse. She is Snowstar’s half-sister, and mother to Swiftstorm, Burningpaw and Blackfire. Her mate is Shadowheart. (Moonblazer)
Swiftstorm - Black and White spotted she-cat with lean legs and sharp green eyes. Mature, impatient and skilled, this she-cat does not like to mess around a lot and was a fiercely competitive warrior. She hates losing and loves knowing she’s skilled enough to back up her challenges. She’s very protective of her family. Daughter of Flowerfall. Died in Collapse. (Moonblazer)
Lilyfrost - A silver tabby she-cat with white paws and icy blue eyes. Lilyfrost is caring, clever and bold, and is as fearless in StarClan as she was alive. A doting mother, she had many kits with her mate, Space. Mother of Whispersong, Smokewave, Icefire, Rainstorm, Angelsong, Ivybounce and Blizzardstorm. Sister of Whisperflame. Died in Collapse. (Moonblazer)
Whispersong - Grey and silver tabby she-cat with pale amber eyes and a long fluffy tail. Gentle, quiet and loving, this she-cat lived a happy life, even when she died she was happy her son lived. Her mate is Silverlight and her kit is Risingfire, her adopted kit being Ashdapple. She held Whisperflame’s soul within her for a while, and is happy to know she can get to know her aunt better in StarClan. Died in the Collapse. Daughter of Lilyfrost and Space. (Moonblazer)
Sapphiregaze - Silver-bluish she-cat with a white muzzle and lovely blue eyes. A former loner with her brother, Cyclonetail, she joined the clan when Hawkstar returned from twolegplace with her kits, Violetdawn and Olivebranch. She is sassy, friendly and adaptable, yet easily spooked. Died in the Collapse. (Moonblazer)
Cyclonetail - Striking silver tom with dark black tabby stripes and a long ringed tail. His eyes are a bright green, and he’s energetic, jumpy and very friendly. Best friend to Hawkstar, he loved clan life the moment he joined the clan. He died in the Collapse with his sister, Sapphiregaze. (Moonblazer)
Sootcloud - lithe black she-cat with white patches and hazel eyes. She was rambunctious and fairly reckless in her youth, however as she aged learned to take more careful measures in life. Now, Sootcloud tries to better evaluate situations, with “What would Doveflight do?” as her favorite way to evaluate a situation. She never had a mate, and didn’t much care to have one, seeing as how involved her parents and siblings were with theirs. She was crushed as acting deputy during the Collapse in an attempt to save her sister, Doveflight. Last cat to die in the Collapse. Daughter of Snowstar and Blackthistle. (♥Snowfire♥)
Nightflame - Black tom with white specks and orange eyes. Nightflame is a patient, hard-working and sometimes rather strict tom, who ended up with the isolated group, serving as a good leader-figure along his mate, Echoshine, and Smokewave and Willowbreeze. He died of old age, and is trying to find a way to bring the clan back together. His kits are Pinefoot and Nettleheart. (Moonblazer)
Smokewave - Pitch black tom with dark blue eyes and one white spot on his tail. A muscular and rather intimidating cat, Smokewave is actually very social and proud, and while he can be easily annoyed, he can also be easily impressed. He ended up in the isolated caves with Willowbreeze, whom he had loved for moons and who became his mate. He felt anger that the clan left his group behind, only to later realize they had no way of being able to search for them. He forgives them, and is proud of his group, hoping they’ll find their way back to the main clan. His kits are Adderstrike, Lilybreeze and Storm------. Died of old age in the splinter group. (Moonblazer)
Doveflight - silvery tabby she-cat with soft white undersides, long, fluffy fur, and bright blue eyes. She was always wiser than her seasons gave credit, and while she tried to keep her cool, she did tend to get snippy if Sootcloud would ignore advice she had previously asked for. While Doveflight hated being wrong, she would admit her faults, however now that she is part of StarClan cannot really be wrong. Doveflight was saved in the Collapse by Sootcloud, however she was separated from the Clan and joined the waterfall group. She never took a mate, but instead helped raise orphaned youngsters after the Collapse. She died of old age, sighing with relief as she would finally be reunited with her family. (♥Snowfire♥)
Watersplash - Sandy brown tom with white paws, muzzle and belly. His eyes are a watery blue, and he is well-built and strong. Watersplash is calm, intelligent and helpful, known to be able to calm almost anyone. He served as Hawkstar’s first deputy for many moons and helped him lead Snowclan back to safety. Died of illness. Brother to Moonfrost. (Moonblazer)
Hawkstar - Tiny yet agile and fast dark brown tom with a white muzzle and chest, amber eyes and a long black tipped tail. Hawkstar is very intelligent, reserved and independent, yet also easily anxious and worried. He became leader after he was chosen by StarClan after the great Collapse, and led his clan back to safety at a dark time. His leadership was very long, but he was a very dedicated and careful leader. Self-doubting at times, he depended on his Clanmates, his mate, Angelsong, and his brother, Eaglesight. Died of old age. (Moonblazer)

(The following is the tale of the last dying moments of Hawkstar, told by myself and Moonblazer, pasted into one post for convenience.)
Brown fur rose and fell in wheezing breaths, the leader's den quaint yet filled with both calmness and foreboding. A long legged she-cat gently placed a sparrow before the old leader, her dark brown, white and black fur fluffed against the falling snow, amber eyes glowing much brighter than her grandfather's older ones.
"Come now....Eaglesight, can't you get him to eat?" Owlshadow asked her great uncle with a calm yet worried voice.
The old, oddly patterned cream and dark brown tom quivered as he padded shakily around his brother. He nosed a plump mouse towards the leader's muzzle, worry adamant in his faded golden eyes. "Come on, Hawkstar... you have to keep your strength! We've made it this long..." Even trying his best to sound optimistic, Eaglesight's own aging voice cracked with worry. His eyes looked between the dying leader and Owlshadow. He shook his creamy head slowly, discouraged.
Hawkstar's amber eyes flickered slowly up towards his larger brother, voice wheezing heavily as he stubbornly murmured. "Not hungry..."
Owlshadow looked at Eaglesight sadly, the medicine cats had tried everything. Hawkstar was simply too frail and too old to recover his former strength. He had an incredibly long leadership, so it was to be expected.
"You don't...need me....not anymore..." Hawkstar gave a faint and wheezing cough, as he looked back at his brother.
Eaglesight's golden eyes were dark with sadness as he sat down, and leaned over. He pressed his nose to his brother's forehead, closed his eyes, and spoke. "I will always need you, Hawkstar. You are my only brother, my best friend..." His words were filled with grief, and his once strong voice shook with sadness. They were littermates, and had spent most of their life together, save the time Hawkstar had taken as a new warrior away from the Clan to find himself. If Eaglesight valued him before that, the larger tom worshiped him afterwards. "What am I gonna do without you?"
Hawkstar found comfort in the action of his brother, always a rare feat for the usually reserved and personal space oriented tom. He gave another rare sound, a relaxed and laid back laugh, though it croaked with quiet age. "Over 100 moons...you know, over 100...I've spent with you...but, Angelsong's missed a few..." He mewed regretfully.
"Over 96 moons...since it fell down...you've got Ivybounce...my clan too...your grands-son will..." He wheezed heavily, though there was an assured look in his eyes. "Will take care of you now..." He almost teased.
Eaglesight sat back so he could get a better look at his brother. He'd looked practically the same since birth, except now age and stress of leadership had worn away at him, greying him, causing the already small tom to look even smaller, appear bonier. "It seems like only yesterday we were training as apprentices with Dad... And yet, it's been seasons since The Collapse. I still remember when StarClan gave you your nine lives..." His golden eyes glazed over with a mix of happiness and sadness. "You finally believed you were worth something. And every day since then, I watched you make important decisions, or at least Watersplash-" he chuckled slightly, "help you make them. My grandchildren may be strong, but they are young, and have bigger burdens than myself and Ivybounce. Our blood is what makes us strong, and you have been my blood the longest of them."
The large cream and brown tom paused in his speech, shaking a little. He looked back at his brother, reality softening his eyes.
"I will miss you, brother, but I understand if you must go." He finally meowed, admitting defeat to himself.
Hawkstar's eyes curved in a way reminiscent of his youth, a small apprentice caught in a world of big cats and strong blood and everything seemed so hard to reach. All the eyes of his surviving clanmates. He then relaxed, face gracing in a graceful smile. The clan was much larger now, with new blood and old blood, and he knew he'd be alright. Eaglesight would too, and his kits, and his grandkits, his neices and nephews, their kits.
Hawkstar wheezed. "I've still got...some time left in me....still have to speak to....Wildfire..." He paused, looking at his brother deeply.
"I may...have been your leader...but you...had always been my hero...it took me a long time to see that...but thank you, for keeping me safe..." He thanked quietly.
Eaglesight's golden eyes welled with tears, and he struggled to blink them away. He wanted to tell Hawkstar how much that meant to him, how huge that made his heart feel. But he couldn't squeeze the words out of his tightening chest. He looked to Owlshadow, and with a strained voice asked, "Please... fetch Wildfire."
Instead of saying anything else, Eaglesight took his large paw, grey with age, and set it gently atop his brother's smaller paw. He smiled sadly, closing his eyes and trying not to let the tears slip down his cheeks.
Owlshadow nodded lightly, heart aching yet body trained with a responsible calmness. She slipped out of the den and into the snowfall, eyes searching for the young deputy.
Hawkstar stared at his brother, wheezing out. "No crying...always sentimental, hm?" He cracked, brown fur fluffing up as a cold breeze fluttered in the den. He didn't move his paw though, happening to enjoy the larger one atop of it for once. He coughed. "I wonder...what my Angelsong'll look like...up there...she was always so so....pretty, and she was so smart...ya know?" He hummed.
Wildfire was unaware as to just how poorly his leader was doing. Currently, he sat hunched over by the fresh-kill pile, nibbling on a starling. His tail swished absentmindedly against the powdered ground.
Eaglesight smiled, and reopened his eyes. They were soft with love and memories. "Yea... Her and Ivybounce both. We both got so lucky." Flicking away an itch on his ear, he continued. "I bet Angelsong is going to look beautiful as starlight, but I wouldn't know. I've never seen a StarClan cat... I know you have." He chuckled, his tail tip twitching in amusement.
"Wildfire...Hawkstar wishes to see you." Owlshadow approached the deputy, amber eyes solemn as she gazed at the tom.
Hawkstar took a few deep breaths, before he smiled faintly. "Yes...she always looked so nice....Starclan cats look the same as us just....fainter...and Snowstar's coat is that bright white again..." He chuckled faintly.
Ivybounce approached the den with a rare quietness, but she quickly pressed against Eaglesight, one of her paws gently grazing Hawkstar's shoulder. "You're not in pain, are you?"
Hawkstar shook his head. Not alot of pain. He was just tired beyond belief.
The young ginger tom looked over at Owlshadow, and worry prickled in his chest. Wildfire stood up, abandoning his starling, and walked over to her. "Is he-?" He asked in an undertone.
Eaglesight smiled sadly. "I almost can't remember her before she was tinged with grey. It must have been nice to see her again."
Owlshadow's eyes averted lightly, and she mewed. "Not yet, but...he's close...certainly you must be aware of what will happen next, right? If he is to..." She looked around the camp, at the warriors and apprentices and kits chatting and moving around.
"For the first time since the collapse, there will be a new cat to lead." She mewed with chilling honesty.
Hawkstar wheezed. "She looked very strong...happy, with her family..." He gave a sudden laugh. "Hollowstar looked so crabby...I don't blame him...he lost many lives at once...he felt as if he had not done enough of what he was...capable of..." He admitted.
Wildfire's bright eyes widened as he absorbed what Owlshadow was getting at. "That means that I'll be the first leader that's ascended from deputy since before the Collapse." Suddenly, his eyes looked panicked. "How am I supposed to know what to do? Watersplash has joined StarClan, Hawkstar's about to, I... What if I'm not ready?" He asked, terrified, but his voice low.
Eaglesight shook his head. "Of course he did. No one deserved that, especially not him." He meowed sadly, remembering his aunt's mate fondly.
Owlshadow watched with a calm lift of her brow, heart aching for her grandfather, yet her father's knack for knowing everything turns out okay in the end really ran through her. She flicked her tail up to quiet him, mewing with assurance.
"Remember when we mentored our first apprentices? It's the exact same principle. You lead other cats, keep them safe, teach them how to be good and strong and honorable. Right? You will be fine. We have many senior warriors who can give you any advice. Your grandparents too!" She assured.
Hawkstar shook his head. "No...none of them deserved the collapse...but I'm proud of how far we've come...I'm at peace...and Angelsong...Cyclonetail and Sapphiregaze...Rustlefoot, my son...and mother and father, I will adore to see them again..." His voice grew a bit stronger. "To provide a life to give for my sucessor. Your daughter...she raised good ones..."
Heaving a sigh, the large ginger tom sighed, shoulders drooping. "You're right. I just wish he didn't have to go..." He shook his head. "But what am I doing moping right now?! We have to go see him while he's still with us." Wildfire's mood instantly flipped as he realized the weight of his actions, and he beckoned for Owlshadow to follow him to Hawkstar's den.
Eaglesight sighed solumnly. "And our young sisters... tell them I miss them, and look after my kits for me 'til Ivybounce and I join you, will you? You know I'll look after yours as long as I can, though they don't need it." He chuckled at the end, glancing outside the entrance to where he heard pawsteps. "And about Flyleaf, thank you. I'm still honored that you chose my grandson to follow in your pad prints." He looked back at his brother, love shining in his own golden eyes.
"There was nobody else I'd have rather chosen...after this time, my kind of leadership is not needed. The danger is gone...have some fun..." Hawkstar croaked, voice tight with emotion from his brother's words.
Owlshadow quickly moved after her cousain, amber eyes drooping yet also clear with hope and curiousity.
"We can only hope that the danger really is gone..." Eaglesight pressed his forehead against his brother's, tears once again welling in his golden eyes. His ears drooped, and heart was heavy in his barrel chest.
Wildfire paused outside of the den, ears picking up the sound of a quiet conversation. He glanced back at Owlshadow before clearing the lump in his throat. "Hawkstar? M-may I enter?" He asked in a slightly shaky meow.
Hawkstar gave a rusty purr at his brother's close embrace, but called weakly and with relief out towards his young deputy.
"Ah...Enter, Wildfire. We have...much to discuss..."
Ivybounce looked at her grandson with sadness and pride, knowing what was to happen soon.
Eaglesight reluctantly pulled away, and creakily stood up to move beside his mate. He smiled when his grandson and leader-to-be padded in, but bowed his head, overwhelmed by emotions.
Wildfire padded in slowly, tail dragging and ears flat. "Hawkstar... you called for me?" He asked, as if he didn't know what was going on.
"I'm dying...you understand this, yes? What will be...expected of you after these last hours? You will go to recieve your lives...name your deputy...and take my place...You are ready." Hawkstar decided, amber eyes as sure and stern as they always had been.
"Of course. But should I not stay with the Clan during your vigil?" Wildfire questioned, nerves prickling his already spiky fur. His green eyes danced with questions he would not ask, probably ever. However, he did not break Hawkstar's gaze, he couldn't.
"After...you may sit and hold vigil after your nine lives are recieved...but a deputy must be assigned and you must have your lives before moonfall. It's...good luck." Hawkstar reminded with a wheeze.
Wildfire nodded, a thousand thoughts racing through his head. Who would his deputy be? Would he be able to make the journey to receive his lives and return in time to catch the vigil? He mentally shook his head to clear the cluster of thoughts, and instead focused on Hawkstar. "Right." He meowed, trying his best to sound calm, but his tail twitched with anxiety.
"Hey...deep breath...I was exactly the same...when Starclan came to me...told me to lead..." Hawkstar comforted the young warrior. "But you will be alright..."
Wildfire sighed, sitting down in front of his leader and hanging his head in defeat. "I know, I just..." He paused, and took the deep breath he was instructed to. He released it seconds later, and continued, "I wish I had more time to learn from you." He looked back up at Hawkstar, glancing for a moment to his parents, then to Owlshadow, and then back to Hawkstar. His bright green and amber eyes were dark with sadness.
"Ah...you learned well enough. For all the ways you all hold me of my rank...I was never much more than a small and emotionally disrupted warrior...I've done bad and good things...got jealous and overly-analytical...but I'm thankful everyone put such faith in me." Hawkstar purred, looking at Wildfire.
"I have time...if there is anything of the past you wish to know..."
Wildfire smiled sadly, but his eyes glinted with curiosity. "Why did you choose me? Out of all the capable cats in the Clan... my parents, first cousins twice removed, senior warriors, your own kits... There are so many others. I don't understand how I was special enough." His question was genuine, and his voice was soft with wonder.
Hawkstar was quiet at that for a moment, before he gave a weak chuckle. "Such a sad day...when the caves collapsed. We lost so many...no leader, no deputy, no medicine cat...the youngest kits grew up that day...the oldest never made it out alive...when I was told to lead, I had no choice but to become a leader instead of a young warrior...the scars of the tragedy have finally healed...Myself, Hollowstar, Snowstar...we all have led in similar styles...respectful and mindful and calculating...stern at times when perhaps joy was a better option."
He looked at Wildfire.
"I never want to see a clan so devoid of energy ever again...you have a spark in you I saw in my brother, a spark from kin long lost...a spark I never had. At the time, I was what the clan needed...but at this time, a cat like you, is what we need..."
Wildfire felt himself blush, heat flooding his face and chest. "That's, very kind of you." He breathed, smiling sadly. "I hope I am what the Clan needs. I hope I won't disappoint you." The young tom admitted, embarrassed. He had never known Snowstar or even Hollowstar, but only heard great tales of their accomplishments. And Hawkstar, well, Wildfire thought he did a remarkable job pulling the Clan out of the disaster of the Collapse.
"Ah...Nothing would dissapoint me now greater than dissapointment in the past. I think...you'll do just fine." Hawkstar gave a light wheeze of laughter.
"I'll try my hardest." Wildfire stated, perking up slightly. "No, I will do my best. I won't let you down. Any of you." He promised, looking around the den at his family. His eyes' bright light returned to them, blazing with the passionate fire that burned within him.
Hawkstar's quiet nervousness faded into sudden relaxation, an incredibly hard feat for the usually focused and anxious tom. He purred rustily. "That's the spirit, kit..."
Ivybounce looked at Eaglesight, pressing close to him.
Wildfire smiled sadly, finally releasing all the tension that had been building up the whole day. He didn't say anything, for he did not know what to say, and instead gently touched the leader's forehead with his striped nose.
Eaglesight leaned slightly against her in turn, and nuzzled his face into her neck. His heart ached for his brother, and there was nothing he could do to help.
Hawkstar accepted the sentiment with lidded eyes, and he wheezed. "Make sure the kits stay away from the mountains...and that Eaglesight and Ivybounce get taken care of...by the apprentices...Rustlefoot's kits are good, but very rambunctious..." He coughed.
Wildfire nodded. "No kits by the mountain. And of course they'll be taken care of, they're my kin too." He meowed reassuringly, twitching a black ear.
"Good." Hawkstar wheezed, before he blinked and mewed. "If I may offer...choose a deputy who is different from you...who can balance out your traits with new ones...Watersplash was incredibly social and relaxed, and assured...I learned alot from him..." He chuckled.
"Opposite personality... Alright. That makes sense." Wildfire agreed, absorbing all of his leader's last moments of knowledge. His fur prickled witn nervousness, three different shades fluffed up more than usual.
"Put faith in your medicine cat too...I remember when Lightningfeather was still around...good tom he was, real smart and kind..." Hawkstar added.
"I shall. If I can't trust my medicine cat and deputy, then who can I trust at all?" Wildfire's eyes sparked, absorbing all the advice he was being given. By now, it was very apparent just how much faith the leader had put into him by appointing the young tom as deputy.
"You are as clever as you are energetic...you just don't see it yet...but you will, when you are leader...when you become a father perhaps as well..." Hawkstar chuckled weakly. He coughed, grey muzzle bright against his scraggly dark brown fur.
"If there is any floods again...take the large path through the mountain...there's plenty of lands here if you look for them..." He rambled, always one to over-think and unconciously fret.
Wildfire smiled, slightly embarrassed by not only the compliment but at the indication of him becoming a father. He tensed slightly when the leader coughed, but nodded at the instructions for disaster. Hesitating, he flattened an ear. "But, uh, Hawkstar... Didn't you say to never take kits to the mountains?" He asked, earnestly.
"The only time you shall...is during a great flood...other than that, don't let them near them..." Hawkstar warned sternly, not wanting to think of the kits or cats lost trying to be brave in the mountains.
Wildfire nodded sheepishly, glancing over at Owlshadow with an almost petrified look that screamed "I should have known that."
Owlshadow padded close, clearly aware of her cousain's anxious looks. She curved the situation, instead mewing. "Grandfather...tell us about when you were a kit, or apprentice. Memories of good things you did."
Hawkstar gazed a long while at his granddaughter, looking aware of her intentions but quickly relaxing and wheezing. "Well...As a kit my mother always said...I stayed in the nest so much that...she was afraid she'd lay on me...Eaglesight explored alot but I wanted to stay...wherever Moonfrost was..." He chuckled.
Eaglesight chuckled, bowing his head slightly. "Much as I hate to brag, it was true. I must admit I was always quite upset that he wouldn't join me in my adventures, but I did have Sootcloud and Doveflight, at least." He smiled sadly, golden eyes reminiscent.
Wildfire listened to both toms with great intent, off-black ears perked up to absorb the stories.
Hawkstar gave a weak purr. He had already made his words with Dawnfiree, his beautiful daughter...she made him proud. He gazed weakly at Eaglesight and Wildfire, and suddenly he felt more tired than ever before.
He gave one more weak wheeze. "Thank you all...for everything...for every moment I got to see my clan return to peace...my deputy, my brother...and all else...I walk with Starclan now..." He smiled faintly once more, before amber eyes closed slowly, his chest movement slowing down one last time.
Eaglesight quivered with emotional pain, and turned to bury his face in Ivybounce's scruff, ears flattened against his large head. Golden eyes leaked tears, but he made no sound.
Wildfire bowed his head momentarily before standing. He opened his eyes, green and amber bright against dark brown tabby stripes. The young tom pressed his nose to Hawkstar's, which was still with the absence of breath. He pulled away after a moment, dipped his head to his grandparents, and touched cheeks briefly with Owlshadow before pulling away, and padding outside of the den. He looked up to the sky, bright green eyes dark with sadness, to see brand new, soft snowflakes falling to the earth all around him. "May we meet again, Hawkstar..." He breathed, watching the snow flutter around him.

Hawkstar's eyes opened slowly as bright white and silver light swarmed his vision. He blinked away the light, only to take a breath...the deepest and clearest breath he had taken in moons. And as he stood up, he could see underneath the sparkling light on his pelt that his brown fur was glossy again, and his slender legs were strong with youth once more. He gave a tomish smile and bounced a bit, feeling like a young warrior again. He was in Starclan now. That meant...
He stopped his bouncing to look around frantically, hope in his amber eyes. After nearly 8 years, he'd see his mother, father and sisters again. His former leaders and his son.

King'sheart stood beside Moonfrost, his daughters besides them. He saw his son appear, and purred. "Hawkstar..." He greeted, smiling. "I have not called you that once before to you yourself, my son. I am so proud of you. You rebuilt our Clan." His starry olive eyes shined with love.

Hawkstar blinked as he saw his father, before he bounded up to the large tom and pressed his muzzle to his shoulder with a choked purr. "Oh father...mother...little sisters, I only hoped I could honor what Snowclan still was...I admit becoming leader frightened me but...but I am happy that we are large and safe once more. I missed you all dearly."
"And we missed you too, Hawkstar." Moonfrost purred as she nuzzled her small son. She looked at King'sheart bafore she turned to hear a fond sound of laughter behind her.
Hollowstar padded up to the group, smiling at Hawkstar. "It's true. You did wonderfully. I only wish there was more I could have done as your leader...but we needed a cat like you after the collapse. And now we will be giving lives to another leader soon."

Sorrelswift, Vulturepaw and Amberpaw followed Hollowstar, smiles on their faces. "Hawkstar." The small calico she-cat purred, greeting her nephew with a bowed head. "There are a few cats here who are dying to see you." She joked with a chuckle, sitting down besides her mate.
The kits parted ways, forming a gap between the two sides of the Snow family. A spiky furred jet-black tom padded forwards, bright starry green eyes shining more than usual. "Hello, Hawkstar. I know I was not present to give you any of your lives, and I don't know if you remember me... But I am Blackthistle. Your grandfather. I died when you were just a kit, but I've watched you grow up since then, from here in StarClan... Welcome, my son." The tom greeted, smiling despite himself.
Behind him, Snowstar and Sootcloud appeared, Doveflight trailing behind last. They all smiled, sadness and also happiness in their starry eyes.

Hawkstar gazed at his kin with bright eyes, respectfully dipping his head. "I am honored to see you all again. I'm glad everyone's here, that everyone's safe." He purred gently. He looked achingly confused as a black and grey tabby tom padded up with Whisperflame, standing near Snowstar. The tom Hawkstar once knew no longer was a shell of misery, with torn claws and pleading pain. Now he was healed and tall and seemed as regal as Snowstar himself.
"Brokenclaw?! I...I thought you were in the dark caves...how did you..." Hawkstar asked with bewilderment. Unlike Honeyshade, Snakepaw and the others in that large dark cave, Brokenclaw had never been hostile. Just in pain and desperate.
Brokenclaw looked at his sister, deciding it was better if Snowstar explained. He twined his tail with Whisperflame's.

Snowstar frowned, looking sadly at her brother. "Brokenclaw never belonged in the Dark Forest. He was falsely accused of murdering a deputy, which is true, except everyone forgot to mention the notion that said deputy was plotting to kill our aunt, Merrystar. I was the only one who believed him, being that our father was long dead, mother long gone, and each other our only siblings. But... I could not stand up for him. There were plenty of cats who distrusted me, being his sister, and even more who would have wanted the position of deputy for their own purposes, like the last one. In order for myself to secure the position of deputy, ensuring the safety of the Clan and our family line, I had to pretend I didn't believe him. This terrible action of mine sentenced him to the Dark Forest, and there wasn't a day in my life that I didn't regret it." She nuzzled her brother's cheek apologetically. "But now, he's here, where he belongs."

"I never blamed you. It was the best decision for the clan. I'm just glad I stopped Merrystar's murder, no matter what happened. I'm so glad to be back here." Brokenclaw chuckled at Snowstar's apology, yellow eyes bright as he looked at his sister, and then to his mate. Whisperflame mewed with her notoriously strong voice.
"There's alot that needs to be talked about. Ever since the collapse, the areas that made the Starclan presence to send messages have been very weakened...it's why we have not been able to send a good message about something that Snowclan is missing right now..." She said almost cryptically, looking at Snowstar suddenly.
Nightflame watched the scene, nodding quickly at the words of the she-cat that had once died for him. It was true. Even now, telling the clan about the isolated cats was horribly difficult.

Now it was Doveflight who stepped forwards, her starry silver fur glittering brighter than her blue eyes. "Hawkstar, when the Caves collapsed, your group was not the only one to survive. There was another, who remained inside the Waterfall Cavern, and gained access to the land by the mountains..." She paused, looking around at her family before back at the newly dead leader. "They've been living there alone since."

Hawkstar's eyes widened incredibly. "W-what? A-are you serious?" He breathed in shock. Others had survived...and he had left them! He left them there and took the rest of the clan away! He had been unable to find any survivors before! He felt weak in the legs, shaking in grief.
"It took Starclan a long time to be able to see them once they discovered a Starclan location of their own, which is why we're still having trouble seeing how they are doing. Good news is that when the isolated cats die, their spirits are still able to come to us no matter what." Whisperflame explained, as Nightflame nodded.

"Which is why I'm able to be here right now to tell you this." Doveflight smiled sadly. She sat down, and Sootcloud pressed against her. "The group seems to be doing alright, however the last time they communicated with us they asked to become their own Clan. Their leader was very angry when we told them they were still warriors of SnowClan, and we would not grant her nine lives." She sighed, and looked over at Nightflame.

Nightflame flicked an ear, mewing deeply.
"All four of us, Echoshine, Myself, Smokewave, Willowbreeze. We all tired to see if regaining a leader with nine lives was possible...but one had already been chosen by the time we found a method of communication at out Starclan cave...I understood why it had to be that way, and accepted it. It's not your fault, or anyone's honestly. We survived...and we did good, too." He promised Hawkstar with a comforting look. He then mewed.
"We tried looking for you all once, but the only other way around was through very very dangerous mountain paths. So we lived on our own." He added.

Doveflight sighed. "It wasn't easy, being separated in life. But we knew why it had to be done."

Hawkstar dipped his head. "I am sorry...shall Wildfire be told of this once he recieves his lives? Snowclan is strong enough now to afford sending search parties..."

Doveflight nodded. "That will be another's job however. Willowbreeze will be the one for that, if I'm not mistaken." She said softly, glancing over at Nightflame before back at Hawkstar.

"Yes. Willowbreeze was adament she tell the next leader." Nightflame nodded, resting a comforting tail on Doveflight's shoulders. He too had died and left the group to go to Starclan.
Hawkstar nodded. "I understand...I hope they find eachother again. Who...who exactly lived?" He asked.

Doveflight bowed her head. "Nightflame, Echoshine, Nettlekit, Mysticglow, Blazekit, Smokewave, Willowbreeze, their kits, Olivepaw, Violetpaw, and I." She answered, sadness in her starry blue eyes. "I don't believe I missed anyone who was alive that you would have known."
Snowstar sat beside Blackthistle, Hollowstar and his family to her left. "I still don't know how two great tragedies could befall our Clan, all at once..." She murmured, looking at her son-in-law.

Hawkstar gave a thankful nod, suddenly wishing he knew. Pinefoot believed his whole family had died, when in fact they all lived. Ivybounce's brother had lived. And...
He looked up, spotting Sapphiregaze and Cyclonetail, smiling brightly as his good friends scampered up. Cyclonetail easily padded up to him and pressed close, while Sapphiregaze still seemed a bit anxious around such strong Snowclan legacies. She came close though, and mewed quietly to Snowstar.
"Perhaps it was destined to be this way...to test Snowclan...or to show that the old camp I heard stories of actually was the right place all along...I am delighted to not see my kits here yet." She mewed with relief.

Snowstar sighed wistfully, looking out to the distance. "Perhaps... And perhaps it foreshadows worse things to happen to my beloved Clan. Whatever the reason, we must be glad for the children we do not see here today." She smiled sadly at Blackthistle, for all of theirs were. He pressed against her, and looked out at their children, whose pelts danced with stars.

"Yes..." Nightflame nodded in agreement, before he looked down to see Splashpaw had approached Hawkstar. She demanded. "Now that you're here you can finally teach me that hunting crouch you did so good." The bold apprentice nodded, pressing close to Sparrowpaw.
Watersplash watched his nephew with calm and approving eyes.

King'sheart chuckled, placing his paw gently on top of his youngest daughter's head. "She always has been eager to learn, even still. They've been so impatient to see you again, you know, Hawkstar." The tom commented, fluffing up his ginger fur.

"I know...I can teach you anything you'd like." Hawkstar purred to Splashpaw and Sparrowpaw.
"Hng. Sitting around here. So is Wildfire going to get here soon?" Smokewave pushed his way almost grumpily through the cats, anxious for the fate of his kits and the group he helped bring back to life. He flicked his tail irritably.
"Smokewave. You've waited this long. Wildfire will come." Nightflame scolded lightly at the impatience that the dark tom never really lost from his youth.

Snowstar chuckled. "He will come. Wrenlight will gather Wildfire and Owlshadow after her announces her as deputy, and then they will come." She predicted, her tail flickering absentmindedly over her paws.
Meanwhile, in the world of the living...
Wildfire paced the leader's den, empty now besides himself. The snow was falling more steadily, and the sun was setting. He had to name a deputy, and he had to go see StarClan, and his mind was racing with all the things he suddenly had to do. Overwhelmed with exhaustion, he pressed his head to the den wall, groaning.
